Finnrey! I ship the Bffs while I Reylo. TFA
Let's be clear I love FinnRey and I understand the possibility of them being romantically was set up. John Boyega and Daisy Ridley were set up as the heroes of the new trilogy and they had wonderful chemistry. More than that, it was clear they enjoyed working together. John Boyega confirmed that JJ Adams developed Finnrey even more as he watched John Boyega and Daisy Ridley friendship develop.
Tumblr media
Everything in the galaxy was beautiful. Hopeful. We saw two strangers become two friends willing to die with one another. We saw a boy meet girl. Girl stand up for boy. Boy stand up for girl. They go on an adventure together.
...... then this happened.
Tumblr media
And Reylo took over the world. Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver have dynamic and sexual chemistry. Even with just about three scenes that they have in the movie they left quite an impression. They single handedly sent the trilogy on a different course than initially planed. That wasn't the only thing to happen. Reylo became a lightning rod for both love and hate. Thus began Reylo vs Finnrey. In between all of that was frustration over Finn being sidelined and mistreated. Sadly, I don't think many Star Wars understand the essential element that was Finnrey, nor understand their relationship. FinnRey are soulmates too, they're not just romantic. Rey's destiny laid elsewhere.
Another important point. Finn has become quite famous, even to my mother who never watched the movies, for screaming "Rey". This on top of his non-sexual friendship with Rey somehow made Finn deemed "A Simp" by the Star Force Bros. Or, he's a black man following a white woman around. It's insulting, simple minded and goes against storytelling.
FinnRey as told in The Force Awakens
While Rey and Kylo introductions are meant to represent ying yang, Finn and Rey introductions are meant to highlight their similarity. Finn is a stormtrooper. A child kidnapped, conditioned and employed as a sanitation worker with a side hustle of fighting. Rey is a scavenger. A child abandoned to work for Unkar Plott and live a lonely and isolated life. The glasses Rey uses in her work are taken from a Stormtrooper uniform. The first we see of Finn is in his stormtrooper uniform. They are both in white.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finn as a character is earnest, brave, loyal and quick to form friendships. While he initially only helped Poe because he needed a pilot to flee the First Order, he doesn't take Poe's life for granted. When he finds out Poe made it out of Jakku alive, he's genuinely happy.
Rey, despite what people think, does have a character. Rey is guarded, lonely, impulsive, resourceful and independent by circumstances not choice. When these two collide it's because Finn see's Rey being attacked and feels compelled to help her. BB-8 tells Rey that the jacket Finn is wearing is his owner's so naturally Rey thinks he stole it. She mistake him for a resistance fighter and he goes along with it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Naturally both Rey and Finn seem interested in one another at first. Suddenly this dashing, handsome, resistance pilot falls in your lap and walks with you on an adventure.... girl, you see what's what before you say no. You could say the same for Finn. We're not given much information about his upbringing as a stormtrooper, but his initial reaction to meeting this brave, pretty girl is to form a bit of a crush. We've seen in Rey's introduction that she fantasizes The Resistance. She's got a resistance doll and she playfully wears a resistance helmet.
In the movie, we're given more of a hint that there is an romantic intention from Finn's perspective such as when he asked if she had a boyfriend, cute boyfriend. In the novel, it's clear she does notice his attractive appearance, "And she’d found a new friend who, unlike BB-8, was flesh and blood. In fact, **after getting a good look at him, he was quite..."
Tumblr media
But the moment she and Finn are pushed back into action, Rey loses her sentiment and simply bonds with Finn as a person. Rey is actually annoyed she's been marked by the Stormtroopers simply by being near him. Finn keeps taking Rey's hand as he leads her away from danger hahaha something that she really loathed. A moment of shift is highlighted in the novel when there's an explosion behind them on Jakku. Rey is the first to orient herself and when she checks on Finn, the first thing Finn does is ask if Rey is ok. This is all Rey ever wanted... someone who cares about her. This is what shifts her from being dragged along to actively helping both her and Finn survive.
Finn and Rey actually form a beautiful and deep bond very quickly mostly because they start off together. Both of them are out of their environments with literally one person that's really in step with them. Can you blame them for latching onto one another?
As they flee in outer space, they learn one another's name and get to know one another better. We as an audience get to see that both are complimentary to each other and already more open. When Han Solo captures the Falcon both continue to seek to protect one another.
Tumblr media
While Finn and Rey both try to flee the First Order and encounter Han Solo Finn's goals haven't changed. While at Maz's canteen? Finn's announces his goal to flee the First Order and Rey is shocked when he 'abandons' his mission with The Resistance to find refugee in the outer rim. "Rey sat at Maz’s table, stung by Finn’s departure. She had saved his life multiple times, and yet he had dumped her like an empty blaster cartridge. She chided herself for thinking he would be different. If her short life had taught her anything, it was that those close to her would abandon her. That was the way of the galaxy. Best to live alone and look out only for number one. Then you wouldn’t get hurt. Then you would survive. So why did she suddenly find herself going after him?"
It's in this moment that Finn finally reveals the truth about the fact that he's a stormtrooper and not apart of the resistance. He tells the story of his rebellion. "I made a choice. I wasn’t going to kill for them. So I ran. Right into you.” Finn’s voice broke, but he quickly recovered. “You asked me if I was Resistance, and looked at me like no one ever had." That! Right there! Finn saw a chance to be something else in someone's eyes and took it. He ask for Rey to come with him (maybe she should have hahaha) Rey wants to continue on with her mission to get BB-8 back to the resistance, while Finn runs off with a crew to seek refugee in the outer RIM.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now I cannot say this enough. Finn doesn't give a damn about the resistance. Nor does he cares about fighting the good fight. At least not in the first film and most of the second. When Maz's place is attacked by the First Order. It's his affection, loyalty and respect for Rey that motivates him to stand up for himself and confront his fears. When Rey is kidnapped in the sprint of his life Finn tries to save her. When he concludes that Rey was taken to First Order base he goes straight there with the help of the resistance, even going as far as deceipt, to rescue her. He faces off with Kylo Ren, the greatest threat within The First Order, in order to defend Rey and himself.
Han Solo – “How do you know how to disable the shields?
”Finn – “I don't. I'm just here to get Rey.”
Han Solo – “You sure you're up for this?”
Finn – “Hell no. I'll go in and try to find Rey.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Meanwhile while Kylo Ren is interviewing (side eye) Rey he takes a peak into the emotions of Rey concerning Finn. "Hmm…," Kylo Ren murmured softly. "You've met the traitor who served under me. A minor annoyance grown larger than he deserves. You find him more than tolerable." He drew back slightly, bemused. "You've even begun to care for him. A weakness, such distractions." Yeah, the boy is in her heart.
Tumblr media
Then there is the moment when Han, Chewie and Finn find Rey on the First Order Base. "Whatever the Wookie had uttered caused tears to well up in her eyes. Having never found himself in such a position before, Finn was unsure how to respond. Knowing well her inner toughness he wondered what Chewbacca had said that could have inspired such a reaction. "What'd he say?" She sniffed and wiped her face. That it was your idea If he had been unable to find the right words with which to respond before, her reply, combined with the look she gave him, reduced him to a state of temporary aphasia."
It cannot be underestimated the importance of Finn on Rey's overall development. Rey’s spent her whole life waiting for her family to come back for her on Jakku, knowing really the whole time that they never would. Finn coming back for Rey after she was captured is the first time in her life someone has cared enough for her to come back for her. He cares about her, he fights for her, he came back for her and never asked for anything in return. The two of them have a friend, a genuine friend, probably for the first time in their lives and despite the fact that neither of them know much about friendship..... they make great friends.
Tumblr media
It's also really cute how Finn gave her his jacket to wear while out in the cold.
It does have to be mentioned that originally in The Force Awakens novelization there was suppose to be the beginning of a romance. The authors recalls being asked to edit the book. One request that “bothered” Foster while writing “The Force Awakens” was to remove the romance he was setting up for Rey and Finn, played by Daisy Ridley and John Boyega in the film. The two characters are not romantically involved in “The Force Awakens” movie, but Foster said Abrams’ screenplay was “obviously the beginnings of a relationship” between Finn and Rey.
In the forest while Kylo Ren's real bone to pick is with the traitor/Finn ultimately Finn stands against Kylo Ren to protect Ren, facing his fear by doing so.
Tumblr media
Likewise Rey stands against Kylo Ren to protect Finn who had just been injured by him, facing her fears by doing so.
Tumblr media
In the end Rey was prepared to die with her friend Finn as she stood by his side before being rescued by chewie.
Tumblr media
Their initial chemical reactions to meeting each other wear off quickly, replaced by a brother-sister companionship. They are the first positive relationships in each other’s lives, and while they certainly form a bond, it’s not a romantic one. Onto The Last Jedi.
Tumblr media
It was time to go. Leaning in to him as closely as the pod would permit, she kissed him softly. "We'll see each other again my friend. I believe that."

Warriors Orochi Headcanons and Stuff That Don't Make Sense to Me Now Ramble Bullshit Dump
things i wasn't able to put together coherently back when i played the games now strung together in a sleepy retrospect
For gods, everyone immortal/mythological/divine in WO is weirdly too weak AND FOR SOME REASON IT TAKES ANCIENT CHINESE/JAPANESE/OTHER WARRIORS TO MAKE A DENT IN THEIR PROBLEMS.
It really doesn't make sense for the Mystic Faction to seem so weak to the point they need humanity to fight for them. You're made up of Chinese and Japanese gods that have founded human civilization. With the Greek and Norse pantheons now becoming canon, they look even more weaker.
But even they seem weak with how Zeus gets betrayed by Ares, Ares fucks up things, Odin fucks up, Loki kills him, things get all fucked. Odin dies without much fanfare. But then again WO4 probably shouldn't be allowed to count, but I like the concepts it had however.
Sure, yeah, it's a game with the plot of "humanity is strong with its friendship and bonds", but I just think you shouldn't downplay the deities for their sake. But I'm basically asking for a WO game of only the original characters in there. Which I want. Please cut out the Warriors.
Ugggggh, though I headcanon that all the deities cannot use their full potential out of risking their already unstable realms. Which brings me to question: why is it unstable? Is it because of time fuckery they have to do to get their human fighters? Something something with Orochi I'm going to have to guess from what I remember of WO3 + Ultimate.
It would be interesting to explore how good and evil need each other to exist, maintaining ying and yang. Especially with the Asian pantheon characters with them covered in the symbols and all. Fine too deep for a Musou game.
I also want to know more??? about the WO deities and other original chars??? Why??? is there no ingame lore on them??? Besides the basic mythos, but WO could definitely give them little personalities and more bonds with each other. Why must it be about the humans? I mean, some interactions are interesting but man do I wish to know why does Taigong Wang look like a twink when he was a super old super smartass Chinese minister. Which brings me to:
Why do the deities even look like the way they are? Is this their weakened forms? Are they what they choose to look like? Well, I suppose all of them choose to look hot. Makes sense. I'd do too. It would be cool for them to have "true" forms. Or even partial transformations. Like an Arrancar from Bleach. Some part of them had to be sealed away so that they can keep the worlds stable.
Misc questions lightning round
For a human cast where 65% of the historical chars died of illness, they sure never asked the local GOD OF MEDICINE TO HELP THEM (Guo Huai??? Why aren't you cured when Shennong is right there??? Sure it might take time, but maybe if the WO power scaling weren't shit, he could just delete the illness)
Are??? Nuwa and Fuxi??? related in this world??? Or not??? I'm pretty sure whether or not if you confirmed them being siblings or not, it wouldn't matter because they are both gay (im kidding) (maybe not) (tbh all the deities ae a bit fruity)
Why does Kaguya know how to time travel? She's not a god of time. She's a moon princess from myth. I'd like to know the ingame lore about her power origins.
What is even the power scaling of WO? Fuxi is considered stronger than Nuwa, but then there's Susanoo and Yinglong who can compete with him. Where is Nuwa on this scale? She has to be at least his equal as, yk, his successor. Where would Shennong be on the scale too? Even if he's the medicine god, he has to be able to have equal power in his field if not for fighting. SHOULDN'T THEY BE WITHIN EACH OTHER'S LEVEL TO EVEN HAVE THEIR TITLES? Taigong??? Sun Wukong??? Daji??? What is their power????

Hopefully you haven’t done this but Todd and Charlie friendship headcanons? (If you want to ofc!) ❤️
Once again, a wildly underrated friendship, I would be thrilled to make hesdcanons for them 💗 (sorry it’s so long, I couldn’t help myself)
We know Neil brought Todd out of his shell, but I feel like Charlie definitely helped him step out too
I mean come on, Charlie is the loudest, most out going one in the group, you can’t tell me he didn’t rub off on Todd slightly
Charlie is really good at reading people, and he always keeps a close eye on Todd when they’re out in public so he catches it right away when Todd gets anxious/overwhelmed
It may not look like he’s watching him, but he always has a rough idea of where the boy is, what he’s doing and how he’s doing at all times
Charlie knows what it’s like to be spoken over because of his parents, that’s one of the reasons he’s so loud now, so if he sees that Todd is being spoken over and ignored, he’ll whistle/yell for everyone’s attention and tell them to listen to Todd
If he can’t get the group’s attention, Charlie will always listen to Todd no matter what
They are each other’s therapist friends
They balance each other out perfectly, loud chaotic hyper boy with a anxious, soft spoken tired boy, it’s works really well too
If Charlie is a little too rowdy one day, Todd is the one in the group who can calm him down instantly
If Todd is being a little extra quiet and reserved, Charlie will always talk to him and cheer him up, cracking jokes until he hears a genuine laugh and sees Todd’s smile reach his eyes
Todd punched someone once because they called Charlie a f*ggot
Yep, you heard me, our sweet baby Todd punched someone
Now normally Todd would never hurt a fly, but this dude was targeting Charlie all night
Charlie, Todd and the rest of the boys were out in the town for the day, hanging out at a large park and this dude comes up and starts calling Charlie all sorts of rude things
Charlie acted tough and clapped back at the dude everytime, but Todd could see it was starting to upset him, and when he heard that slur leave the strangers mouth and saw Charlie wince and tear up, he couldn’t control himself. No way he was gonna see one of the people who helped him be confident get torn down
Charlie never hugged Todd tighter than he did after he swung at the dude, mumbling a heartfelt thank you into Todd’s shoulder as he squeezed the life out of him
Charlie walks at the back of the group with Todd when he accidentally gets bumped back by the others
They play animal crossing together
Okay it might just be Charlie going to Todd’s island and beating him up with his net, but Todd’s just happy someone will play it with him
In my post “the dead poets going to the park would include” I said that Todd gave Charlie a flower and it made Charlie cry, I stand by that
Charlie bought a picture frame for said flower, had Knox dry it and hung the framed flower on his wall
If Todd is talking about one of his favorite subjects but gets ignored and stops talking about it, Charlie will always start asking him questions about the subject until Todd is excitedly ranting about it again
If Todd gets anxious/overwhelmed in public and Neil isn’t there/is too far away/is busy, he’ll instantly turn to Charlie for help
They hold hands when Todd gets anxious (Which once lead to Todd feeling guilty and asking Neil repeatedly if he was upset about it, which he of course was not, he actually encouraged it especially in cases where he can’t help Todd himself)
Todd sees Charlie as the big brother he wish he had instead of his real brother
Charlie is so protective of Todd, if someone even looks at his buddy wrong they are getting their ass beat in the blink of an eye
Todd actually turns to Charlie first for most issues. Not that he doesn’t trust Neil, he just prefers talking to Charlie because the bond is different (definitely because he sees him as a brother, as I said above)
I always bring up Todd using ASL to communicate when he’s too anxious to do so, and I’m saying it once again.
Charlie learned ASL specifically for Todd
Charlie tried to memorize a list of the most common birds where they live because he knows how much Todd loves them
Friendship bracelets 100%, Todd made them and Charlie cried when receiving his (Todd makes Charlie cry a lot)
Charlie bullies Todd for being short even though Todd is taller than him by atleast 2 inches

and the rewatch continues
So rewatching most of season 5 and dipping into season 6, after coming from season 4, I found some things very interesting, things I actually had forgotten about and some that just hit differently now that the show has ended:
Season 4:
Brothers - different iterations: Had that finale happened after this season, it might have made better sense (though I STILL say the manner of Dean’s death is laughable)
Destiel & Cas: While Cas and Dean have some uncomfortable staring contests and there’s chemistry, I didn’t get the whole Destiel vibe (this is just my personal take), yes there’s a bond there, a growing partnership so to speak but I feel like Cas is not around enough for it to be in the forefront of the story or even to demand Dean’s attention in a way. Like Cas made his big entrance in 4x01 and we saw how things took off from there for the story and for this connection/bond between he and Dean but Dean is early season Dean and Cas is early season Cas. Though I found Cas’ interest in everything Dean Winchester to be intriguing (and he put Dean back together with his own hands, I just...this really does become the greatest love story ever told, I swear), I personally didn’t get the whole UST vibes that has been talked about. I actually found myself wanting to go deeper into Cas’ story (a la 6x20 style) aside from Dean’s and Sam’s.
Anna: That whole night with Anna was purely that: a night. There wasn’t a whole lot of chemistry between Jensen and Julie and it’s very clear that this whole sex-on-last-night-on-earth thing is for comfort, for both characters. I kind of get why they switched up gears there for Dean’s angel role, even if they didn’t intend for Destiel to read as romantic at all initially. 4x09 & especially 4x10 were so obviously trying to ying and yang the brothers and the sides that had chosen them/complemented them: Anna | Ruby, Heaven | Hell -> eventually Michael | Lucifer. But back to Anna, while I enjoyed her character and would have loved to delve deeper with her, I am glad Cas was the one who got to stay. Anna and Dean had no chemistry, outside of a couple of glances before the big hookup/last night on Earth deal, there wasn’t really anything there. Tbf, they didn’t have a lot of private time before that, except maybe one convo. To me, in this scenario, Anna was a source of comfort (after she tells Dean he needs to forgive himself for what happened in Hell which I very much appreciated, someone had to tell him that) and attraction, letting her have her last night on Earth, a hookup, etc. But there was nothing deeper there. And for this bond with an angel to happen, there needed to be something deeper there. Perhaps had Anna been around longer and didn’t go the way she did in season 5, it might have but I honestly tend to doubt it. We all know Cas and Dean’s (Misha’s and Jensen’s) natural chemistry is off the charts. I’m not sure Anna (Julie) could have competed with that had both Cas and Anna stuck around together. I know I’m completely biased here, but I almost felt like Anna and Cas had more chemistry together, it might have been because they got more face time, I’m not sure. But I thoroughly enjoyed watching it all go down again.
Adam: Omg I forgot about how Adam wasn’t Adam when Dean and Sam first met him. That was heartbreaking on so many levels, but mostly for Adam and his mom dying the way they did and of course, for Dean and Sam. Namely Dean because he was the most affected by finding out about Adam’s existence. And I swear I fell in love with Dean more in that episode as a character because despite his pain, his anger, his hurt, he still tries to do the right thing by Adam, to honor his dad’s wishes. And John...that mf’er doesn’t deserve any of those boys as his sons. What an asshole through and through.
Season 5:
Destiel & Cas: And now we see Cas becoming a bit more forefront and the vibe has changed...slightly. Now it’s a partnership turning into a friendship. Dean and Cas get a bit more face time and it shows. 5x03 was awesome and of course the wholly unnecessary line of “One, Bert and Ernie are gay” -- like where did that come from? I still loved it. It was tough to see Dean and Sam go their separate ways in the beginning but we still got some gold out of it with 5x03 and 5x04. And thankfully, we get more into not only more of the angel and apocalypse lore this season, but we also get to see how Cas’ relationship with the Winchesters is changing and more of what makes Cas tick as a character in his own right. And of course, bamf!Cas was very present.
Brothers: Once again, had that finale happened after this season, it might have made more sense (sans the junk death) - because it’s very obvious that the co-dependency is alive and well here and it would have made more sense for their characters - while they have others outside of the two of them they are caring about (Bobby, Ellen, Jo just to name a few), it’s still the exclusive Winchester-only club. I truly enjoyed watching these two working together and moving towards the season finale. Dean’s memory of Sam and the fireworks, Dean talking about how Sam’s best memories weren’t the same as his (shocker, John Winchester is a d-bag, I’ll keep saying it), Dean struggling to make the decision to say yes to Michael, having to agree with the plan for Sam to say yes to Lucifer to try to trap the latter, Dean showing up to the cemetery -- all of it was incredible and the two of them were the beating heart of the show at that point. 5x22 will always be one of my favorite season finales for that show. It was pure awesomeness, truly epic and perfect.
Dean: holy hell, they really, really threw a lot into Dean this season - not that they hadn’t before, but damn. Each season just amps up the Dean game, just like I remember, and I am happily here for it again. No offense to Sam at all, but Dean is just so complex, so complicated yet straightforward, and there’s so many layers to him that they just keep peeling back and they feed us well each season. I swear, if you turned the sound off and just watched that scene where Dean tells Zachariah to call Michael, where Dean and Sam go their separate ways, you would know exactly everything Dean is feeling and thinking thanks to the incredible talent of one Mr. Jensen Ackles. Just really incredible. How this man never got nominated for an Emmy at any point for this show just astounds me. Yes, I know that show wasn’t considered a contender for that type of award run, but dammmnnnn. He deserves it and more. Watching this season and season 4 really brought back the original reasons I fell in love with Dean as a character in the first place. One of the best characters ever, I’m telling you. And may I just say, I hated that they brought back John’s leather jacket for him in the season finale but I get it, it was Kripke’s swan song (did I just do that? I believe I did) so we of course went back to core Winchester things, not just in story but every element. I’m ngl, I was so glad to see Dean shed it though when he is sitting down to dinner with Lisa and Ben.
Apocalypse: I thoroughly enjoyed this whole plot line - this really was high stakes, more than ever before, and though angels were dicks, there was Lucifer of course and a mysterious though mostly absent God behind the curtain - you just never knew what was going to be thrown at you next, just like the boys were going through.
Heaven/Mary: even though this definitely has to do with Dean more so, I did enjoy them seeing Ash and Pam, Ash’s setup, and of course Mary being there, seeing how such a good memory could be manipulated by the dick angels and the horrible things Mary said to Dean. Of course, I felt for Dean but it was interesting to see that whole scene play out. Plus we got even more confirmation of what we’ve known all along: John is a bonafide asshole and Dean really did experience facets of spousification, even before Mary died (which just makes me so sad for him, I swear if they don’t put a Cas vs John scene in the reboot... because you know Cas will win that thumb war)
Meg: ngl, I wasn’t really crazy about this iteration of Meg - I don’t mean Rachel Miner’s version, just this particular performance, which I chalk up to whoever decided they wanted her to go this route in her performance - I couldn’t believe it was the same character, the same actress - I am so glad the show/Rachel developed the character we all love to hate and secretly really love to how she was in later seasons
Jo: omg Jo. I have to admit, in season 2, in the first episode she showed up in, I despised her. She was like that bratty teenage kid who’s a real pain in the ass and whines and doesn’t get it. But after that episode, I grew to love her with each one she was in. She became a bamf in her own right and I loved seeing that come through this season especially. Her death was horrific (what is it with this show killing off bamf female hunters in such a gruesome way? it brought back horrible Eileen flashbacks for me personally, and for them to turn Meg and Ketch into somewhat redeemable characters after that... you know, I swear...) but heroic and I had never been more proud of my girl. Except the scene with Dean in the kitchen. As much as I love my chaotic hunter son, I was glad to see Jo flip him off in the way she did. So proud. And then her goodbye with Dean, I had forgotten exactly what he did so I was going “omg, she just saved you, Dean, this girl has feelings for you, she deserves at least a kiss, kiss her. right. the fuck. now!” and sure enough, he did, on the forehead, which I was like okay, well I get it, he doesn’t return those feelings but he does care about her but dammit, she deserved for him to plant one on her. and then he did and I was just gone, I was a complete bawling mess. And her goodbye scene with Ellen, and then her death along with Ellen’s sacrificing herself to stay by Jo’s side and give the boys a chance to get out of there...yeah, I didn’t stop crying for about five minutes. I cannot tell you how much I miss those characters and I would have sold someone else’s right arm to make their return in the series finale happen. Besides the obvious characters that should have been present, Ellen, Jo, and Ash deserved to be there (just not Samantha and Chad, if we can get a “Cas helped” for the third major character/lead, we can also get a “Ellen and Jo went to assist in setting up the honeymoon suite above the roadhouse - I said what I said).
John: usually, I cannot abide giving any time to this jerk, never mind talking about him, but I have to say I enjoyed seeing pre-loss John in 5x13. That conversation he has with Sam I think is so glaringly important. I know it was for Sam to forgive John and heal, but the fact that John himself is saying “how could he do that to you? he was supposed to protect you” -- yep, that was pure poetic cinema in my eyes. Because pre-loss John is right, how dare post-loss John do that to his boys? There’s no excuse anyone or this show can give him. As much as I love JDM, post-loss John Winchester will never be okay in my book.
Adam: omg Adam. First of all, I loved his dynamic with Sam and Dean. I really, really wish we could have had him around longer just for that alone. What an awesome character we could have had giving Dean and Sam a run for their money. “Well, we’re working on the power of love.” “How’s that going?” “Not so great.” -- give me an episode of the three brothers on a milk run hunt (sans generic mask-wearing vampmimes) with all of the fixings and I swear we would get done!Sam, consistently being roasted between Dean and Adam, and then Dean thinking he’s got a mutual now, a BFF, and Adam turning right around to roast him as well. It would be epic, I tell you, epic. I wish Adam had gotten a better end, this season and at the end of the series. He certainly deserved better. And this may be a random observation but why did Michael take Adam at all? I know the countdown had begun and he was desperate to grab a vessel so he could fight Lucifer at the appointed time and Dean was not giving in (that he knew of), but what chance of victory did he think he had without using his true vessel? Using that logic, I guess Michael’s end in the series makes more sense now...? Who knows.
Chuck: Swan Song (5x22) and the lines, “Endings are hard. Any chapped ass monkey with a keyboard can poop out a beginning but endings are impossible. You try to tie up every loose end but you never can. The fans are always gonna bitch. There’s always gonna be holes. And since it’s the ending, it’s all supposed to add up to something. I’m telling you, they’re a raging pain in the ass“ -- did anyone else feel like that was Kripke speaking or is it just me?
Season 6:
the whole Lisa thing: while it was nice to see Dean go domestic, I have to say I was more invested in Dean and Ben’s relationship development than I was with Dean and Lisa’s. The chemistry just wasn’t there, I have to be honest (he and Anna actually had more chemistry for a few minutes than he did with Lisa this whole season). I don’t doubt they loved each other, it was real, and Lisa was good for him at the time but it just didn’t have that spark. I loved Lisa as a character in her own right, but I was happy to see her and Dean eventually go their separate ways. Though my heart broke for Ben on that one. He and Dean really had a whole father-son bond happening there. I appreciated that when Ben called him, even that one time that nothing was really wrong, Dean dropped everything and headed right over. They had a bond of their own happening outside of Dean and Lisa’s. I think Dean ultimately made the right choice in the end to keep Lisa and Ben safe (though they should have been able to choose if they wanted this), but God did that cost him and we see it in that scene outside of the hospital with Sam. How much that hurt for him, and for us to see how it killed him to do it. I’m still grateful that he got to see what the domestic life was like and that he got a reprieve from hunting for a bit. It made complete sense as to why Cas didn’t want to pull him back in to ask for help with Raphael.
Destiel: Welp, now there’s definitely an emotional relationship happening. Meaning the bond has become even more forefront and not only is Dean affected, but we also see that Cas is, too. Dean’s reaction to finding out Cas was working with Crowley the whole time, Cas’ reaction to Dean choosing to save the two boys instead of focusing on finding Eve, Cas’ reaction to Dean’s stance on the Crowley situation, Dean’s finding out Crowley kidnapped Lisa and Ben, Cas asking Dean to trust him, Dean seeing Cas becoming the new God and needing to summon Death, etc. It was fantastic. While it hurt during some moments, I enjoyed seeing the dynamics and reactions to these situations play out. This is definitely a friendship now, a family relationship formed (and still forming) like Dean says in 6x20. Imho, Jensen and Misha knocked it out of the park this season when it came to that relationship. I loved it.
Cas: holy hell, 6x20 has become one of my all-time favorite episodes of SPN. I loved seeing Cas’ POV. Cas was already a fave character of mine but this episode made me fall in love with him all over again. This was incredible and I’m so thankful they fed us so well with this one. I really enjoyed seeing Cas as a character stepping into the forefront, right there with Dean and Sam. Yes, he was a part of TFW before this, but you have to admit that in this season, it becomes a whole new ball game. Really amazing stuff and of course, Misha slayed it all.
Meg & Megstiel: I was so happy to see the iteration of Meg return that we know from later seasons. Maybe I’m just too used to that version but to me this felt more effortless for the character and for Rachel, that really let both shine. Personally, I’m not a Megstiel shipper. While I love their dynamic, it just isn’t there for me, but I really did enjoy their scenes together. Cas felt as if he needed a little shaking up so to speak so I think she was perfect for that. Plus, I have a hard time forgiving those in the show that sic Hellhounds on my bamf female hunters so that might be partially the reason for my bias, just saying. (I never really forgave Ketch either)
Samuel...& Co: I just...why? Don’t get me wrong, I liked Mitch but this felt a bit...I don’t know...off? Other than some place for Soulless!Sam to go while Dean was playing house and for nabbing Alphas for Crowley, I don’t get what the point of this story line was? Was it to show us that Mary’s dad was a d-bag? Check. Was it to show us how people sometimes make the worst decisions when it comes to their family? Double check. Like, we kind of already got that and it was just unnecessary confirmation if that makes sense. And the thing that kills me is that Samuel was in Hell (or goes to Hell, I kind of did other things in the background during that arc) but he loved his daughter enough to betray her sons and do the wrong thing but John gets to go to Heaven? This still confounds me. Though I enjoyed Gwen and it was a shame she couldn’t be a family contact in another state for the boys later on to pop up every now and then.
Soulless!Sam: I enjoyed this part of Sam’s arc but I won’t lie, I was relieved like everyone else when he finally got his soul back though waited with bated breath for the other shoe to drop. But it was interesting to see this side of Sam.
Dad!Dean: I know I mentioned Dean and Ben above, but that one episode with the shifter!baby, that was priceless and God, did I love it.
I just loved going back to this for both boys

The Untamed/陈情令 Rewatch, Episode 8
(spoilers for everything MDZS/Untamed)
[covers MDZS chapter...none, really...Team CQL pretty much goes completely rogue for this ep]
WangXian meter: 🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰
I really thought that Wei Ying should have named his binding technique “无聊” (“wu liao”, aka “lame”, “silly”, “boring”) in honor of Lan Zhan, since that’s his favorite response to Wei Ying. It’s a shame he didn’t end up doing that, felt like a total missed opportunity, especially since he never did decide on the actual name.  The two names he came up with, “sharing clothes” and “no clothes” (according to Viki's translation), felt little more than just Easter eggs for novel readers since we know eventually the two of them do partake in both states of dress and undress. In the context of the actual technique, they really don’t make much sense. However, interestingly enough, in the WeTV subs, the two name choices were actually translated as “binding” and “bonding”, which definitely seems more applicable. Based on my limited knowledge of Chinese words, the Viki translation seems to be a more literal translation of the words used, so I’m not sure how the WeTV team came up with binding and bonding instead, unless those are the figurative meanings of those Chinese characters.  I would love it if a fellow fan who is much more Chinese literate could school me on which is more accurate translation, but seriously, how much cuter would it have been if Wei Ying had just gone with 无聊?
Team CQL deciding to throw in more yin metals to the story was really a stroke of genius considering how much mileage they got out of that little invention: they got to introduce Xue Yang and eventually the Yi City boys earlier, provide a more extensive backstory for Lan Yi which of course also impacted other plot elements downstream, utilize Wen Ruohan more as a villainous character (which I personally consider a minus), stretch out the running time for more episodes, and most importantly, create more bonding opportunities for Wei Ying and Lan Zhan. First time I watched this episode I straight out cheered when Wei Ying skipped out on his Yunmeng fam to go after Lan Zhan; I thought that was so adorable. I was so looking forward to their adventures together. Too bad their alone time only lasted a few minutes...literally less than 4 minutes; I actually kept track this time around. Originally I thought that Nie Huaisang was brought in to be a third-wheeler because it would have been too suggestive for Lan Zhan and Wei Ying to spend time together off on their own, but after finishing the show and seeing all the other times they've spent together all alone, I soon realized I was totally overthinking things and it really was for the story's sake. One point I was never clear on was how did NHS clue into the fact that Jin Guangyao was behind his brother's death, since qi deviation actually seemed a reasonable explanation for his demise. Guy was bleeding through all his face holes, but he also had the ghost puppet lines on his neck. Because of NHS' experience here with Lan Zhan and Wei Ying when they faced off against the Wei villagers he was able to see firsthand how people affected by the Yin metal looks so I wonder if that's how he made the connection with what happened with his brother since Nie Mingjue also had those veiny markings on his neck. This had to be the only opportunity he had to see ghost puppets up close since he didn't really participate in the battle part of the Sunshot Campaign.
I could be way off base of course and perhaps the actual answer is more obvious than that, but one of the reasons I look forward to rewatching the show is filling in these gaps I have in terms of the plot and seeing if my conjectures to what I previously hadn't figured out yet are correct or not.
Tumblr media
Another benefit to NHS' sudden appearance was seeing how Lan Zhan seemed almost jealous at how chummy Wei Ying was being with him.  He didn't look thrilled at all when NHS popped up, and then that look on his face before he turned away from them was really the epitome of disapproval. Actually, he looked a little pissed. I wonder if he was actually disappointed to be reminded that Wei Ying's overt friendliness was not just reserved for him, since he was just as exuberantly social to NHS as well.
Tumblr media
But progress was being made in their relationship just the same: take the fact that he didn’t fling off Wei Ying’s hand when he grabbed hold of him. Prior to their time in the cold pool cave, I doubt Lan Zhan would’ve allowed anyone to touch and lead him that way. In fact, he’s straight out said before that he doesn’t like physical contact with others. Obviously that’s no longer the case anymore, especially when it comes to Wei Ying. It's only the first of many more instances of hand grabbing and other touches between them. It's so exciting watching their relationship slowly but surely growing all over again.
Tumblr media
Although, when it comes to Wei Ying, I think it takes a much longer time for his feelings toward Lan Zhan to undergo any change from close friendship. I'm probably alone on this, but while I think he likes Lan Zhan a lot, I don’t think his feelings went through the same transformation to love that Lan Zhan’s did until much, much later.  Or at least, not in the way that he is actively aware of.  He clearly felt an instant kinship with Lan Zhan, but I think it takes a long while before he even understands that it’s different from how he feels towards someone like Jiang Cheng or even Nie Huaisang.
Tumblr media
Watching him as he admired Lan Zhan's beauty, I was naturally tempted at first to ascribe more meaning to his reaction than just appreciative appraisal because I wanted Wei Ying to be enamored with Lan Zhan already. But the truth of the matter is, now that I’m able to take a step back and really assess their relationship, I don’t think Wei Ying was quite at the maturity level yet to be able to properly comprehend what his admiration may actually be an indicative of. Wei Ying has a big heart, which is one of the most lovable qualities about him, but because of his heart and it's boundless capacity to love and care for others, I think even he himself can't decipher the differing levels of feelings he might have for different people.  And because it will take him a long time to realize the greater significance behind his attachment to Lan Zhan, it’s really heart-breaking how he almost carelessly friend-zones Lan Zhan at various points in this first part of their lives before he finally wakes up. In fact, I can pinpoint the exact moment when I believe he wakes up, but since it's still in the far future, I’ll save my further ramblings on that matter until then.
Bunny Time with the Yunmeng Sibs
Tumblr media
I love bunnies a lot and I also love the Yunmeng siblings a bunch, so naturally I wanted to love this moment completely as well, especially since seeing Wei Ying and Jiang Cheng nuzzle bunnies is just one of the cutest sights I've ever been laid eyes on. Unfortunately, there was one thing that put a damper on the scene for me and it was seeing Wei Ying throw that poor bunny at Jiang Cheng.  That wasn't a stunt bunny he tossed, it was the real thing. I rewound several times just to confirm it. I winced so hard the first time I watched the scene that I think I gave myself a toothache, and even now I still grimace a little when I see it. For my peace of mind I have to assume Wang Zhuocheng (who of course portrays Jiang Cheng) did catch the bunny and the take we saw was not a do-over because he actually missed it so they had to redo the scene again. I will also have to assume that the bunny was the same bunny throughout the rest of scene which means it survived the toss and it was just fine afterwards since bunnies are usually fragile little creatures and are susceptible to heart-attacks at just the slightest shock (and being suddenly tossed in the air would definitely qualify as that). The alternative is just too gloomy otherwise. Chinese productions don't generally have a good track record when it comes to animals so...yeah...I gotta stop thinking about it and just focus on the siblings cuddling the cute rabbits.
I hope someone adopted the bunnies and the cast and crew didn't just cook and eat them afterwards.
ChengQing
Tumblr media
It actually just crossed my mind tonight that Jiang Cheng and Wen Qing's ship name actually sounds like part of the Untamed's Chinese title. I don't know why I didn't notice it before. The extra "g" probably threw me off. Anyway, the way this scene started was rather odd because based on the way they greeted each other, it was as if Jiang Chen and Wen Qing were on the outs, like they just had an argument or something. Which doesn't make sense because the last time they saw each other was at Cloud Recesses, where Jiang Cheng was still making puppy eyes at Wen Qing while she was making her lantern wish, but then cut to here and it's like he's not even that thrilled to bump into her again. What happened to his little crush on her? I was kinda disappointed.
Wen Chao is a Close-Talking Creep
Tumblr media
I don't like Wen Chao but I absolutely enjoyed He Peng's performance of him because he is so effectively creepy and shitty. Just the way he purposely invades Big Bro Xichen and Wen Qing's space as he threatens them totally made my skin crawl.  More than once I've wondered how the hell Wen Qing was able to grow up around him and not get harassed in the worst way.  He's also such a petty dick, with the way he purposefully dirtied big brother's rug for no good reason other than to be a shithead. But then, later on, when he's called to be totally pathetic to the point where he's downright sympathetic, he was able to pull that off with equal aplomb. So even though I almost hate his character, I do want to take this moment to give some love to the actor, whom I think did a really good job. Playing villains is sometimes an equally thankless job as playing the straight man, especially with villains like Wen Chao which aren't meant to be alluring like Xue Yang or likable like Jin Guangyao. He could have easily veered into caricature territory, which I actually thought the actor for Wen Ruohan did so that's why I didn't like his performance nor was I able to take him seriously as a character, but He Peng's Wen Chao always seemed grounded to me. I think a big reason for that is because the actor, in his own words, viewed his character as an arrogant, spoiled rich kid instead of a soulless villain and therefore chose to play him that way. As a result, I think he was still able to infuse Wen Chao with a small degree of humanity.  The fear he felt whenever he had to face his dad was palpable. He's basically like a bully because his upbringing allows him to be one, but ultimately he's still a weak human being. That's why, when he turned into a sad, sniveling shell of a man under Wei Wuxian's torture, I found him really pitiful and actually felt bad for him.
Odds and Ends
Tumblr media
Seriously, why the hell was Wen Chao able to hold the yin metal with his BARE HAND like that??? They've been saying time and again how powerful the metals are, how full of resentment they are, how normal people can't just handle them cuz even a highly cultivated person like Lan Yi was done in by just one piece, so how come a medium-powered mofo like Wen Chao was able to just hold as if it was just a some rock he picked off the ground? Even if the yin metals were only just activated from their dormancy, they're still soul-sapping implements of evil, so this really should not have been possible.
Tumblr media
The dear translators kept on calling Wen Chao's bird an "owl" and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out WHY. There is nothing about that thing that resembles an owl, imho. It looks more like a raven with eagle talons and the sounds it made were like that of a hawk, so I really can't figure out how they got owl from that. Even the Chinese words for owl ("猫头鹰") is completely different from the characters used for that bird. I mean, I guess it could be one of those deep dives like how they came up with "Childe" for all the male honorifics, but seriously why even bother? Probably would’ve been easier to just call it a raven since that's what the cloudy mass looks like the most. Although I must say, I do love the way it looks: I like that they use the evil smoky effect for it since it’s suppose to be a bad birdy. I think it's one of the more successful CGI effects in the show.
Tumblr media
Team CQL can be proud of themselves for the owl/raven/whatever effect, but then they should also dunk their heads in the toilets for this shitshow at the Wen Village. There was no consistency to these guys...some had the whited out eyeballs that up until then, all ghost puppets on the show have been shown to have, but then some, like that female extra in the front had regular eyes. And then some of the extras were rolling up their eyes. It's like, was there NO direction give to these guys? This whole Night of the Living Not Dead scene was a complete embarrassment. Any tension they were trying to build up for this scene was completely destroyed as soon as these walking jokes showed up.
Lastly, I had to laugh when Wei Ying quickly divulged the secret of the yin metals to Nie Huaisang without much prompting whatsoever. He JUST pledged himself to secrecy in front of Big Bro Xichen and Uncle Lan in like the last episode, and he already broke the promise by this one. What was more amazing was that Lan Zhan didn’t even bat an eye at it nor did he even try to stop him. I guess they both completely forgot about the promise already.
Question I Still Have
Actually, I’ve had this question since the beginning but now seems to be a good time as any to ask this, since this episode ended on those guys: WHY they're called "ghost puppets"? I've actually never heard of the Chinese words they used for the zombies before, on any other show.  Was this terminology just a creation of the Untamed’s scriptwriter just for the show. And if so, I still don’t understand why they have to be called ghost puppets since they’re clearly NOT ghosts. Calling them "living" puppets would’ve been more appropriate. If someone has some insight on this, I’d appreciate the knowledge drop.
Overall Episode Rating: 7 Lil Apples out of 10
Disclaimer: The Untamed would not be possible without Mo Dao Zu Shi and Mo Xiang Tong Xiu-laozi.  I mean no disrespect whatsoever with my humble comparisons between the novel and the live action, even when I sometimes favor the changes in the show. All hail MDZS and MXTX-laozi always and forever!

Shoelace
So this is the first request I got, thank you anon, hope you’re seeing this and you like it!! Title isn’t quite the best, sorry about that lol
Request:  I know the boys have mentioned that they go to thrift and antique shops often and that's were they get most of their clothes. Could you write a story about shopping in an antique shop and (literally) running into the boys there? Warnings: none Word count: 1418 words Thoughts and memories are written in italic.
You woke up really early in the morning, the loud sound of the cars being the reason. You usually liked to sleep in, but since you were already up, it was no use to go back to sleep. You figured you could just watch the sunrise.
While you changed your pajama with the clothes you chose for the day, you watched the calendar on your wall. Tomorrow was the day. You had a big smiling face drawn next to the number of tomorrow’s date.
Finally. It felt like this day would never come, you thought and smiled to yourself as you put water in the kettle, waiting for it to boil.
You have grown up in a music-loving family and you easily picked up this love for bands, and music in general. You have always dreamt of having your own band and seeing the world, but most importantly, you dreamt of expressing your feelings with people and connecting with them.
Tomorrow was the day you would finally see Greta Van Fleet live. You bought tickets months in advance. It blew your mind how these boys that were your age managed to get so far already, and the idea that this is just the beginning of their evolution blew your mind even more. Even though their home town was in the same state as you were living in, you never got a chance to see them perform.
While you were sitting by the window, deep in thoughts and your excitement almost sky-rocketing, you noticed that the water for your tea just started boiling. You poured yourself a cup, and put in the tea packet and kept the cup in your hands, warming yourself.
Today you had a free day from work; actually even better- the whole week was free. You decided to call your best friend and ask her to join you to a day out. You needed to go thrifting to find the perfect outfit for the gig tomorrow.
Like she read your mind, your phone lit up. You read the text message: “Figured since tomorrow is the big day, we need to go shopping. Meet you at 11 by the fountain. Love ya”
You smiled and just answered her text with a thumbs up emoji.
You let your phone fall back on the bed sheets and returned to the window and admired the beauty of the sunrise, while slowly sipping on your tea.
Before going out, you decided to have a look in your closet and tried to put together an outfit, but nothing had that vibe you were looking for.
Time passed faster than expected, so now you were running late. You were always running late when you had to meet your friends.
It was 15 minutes pass 11, and Lisa, your best friend, wasn’t there either. You rolled your eyes and waited patiently. Soon, she appeared down the street, not hurrying and taking her time. You two were almost opposites, but the way you could understand each other made your friendship work. You were like Ying and Yang.
You greeted each other and started visiting the thrift shops one by one. In each one you found several good pieces, but none were exactly what you were looking for, but you still took them anyway.
Three hours must have passed since you and Lisa were walking from store to store, and you finally reached the last one, which was actually one of your favorites.
This shop always met your dreams. Whatever pieces you had in your mind, you could always find it there – from sweaters, to pants, handmade dreamcatchers and antique jewelry.
You and Lisa walked in, ready for action. The moment you entered the store, your eye caught a couple of items. You picked them off the shelf, and on your way to the dressing cabin, you picked up a couple more.
You tried on what you got and asked Lisa to come in and give her honest opinion on the outfit you put together, but she didn’t answer.
“Lisa!” you called out one more time. Still no answer. You put on your shoes and picked up the clothes you were previously dressed with and stepped out of the cabin. You looked around the corner and once you saw she wasn’t there, you jogged to where you’ve last seen her.
In your brisk jog, you stepped on your untied shoelace and tripped over, almost falling over a group of men that were looking at the vintage shirts section.
“Holy- “ you heard the moment you realized you didn’t hit the floor, but you were dangerously close to it. You had your eyes tightly shut, waiting for the moment of the impact, but since it didn’t come, you dared to peek at the surroundings.
That was the moment you would have fallen again, if you weren’t already kept inches off the floor by a strong pair of arms. It was like one of those cliché movie moments, when the guy catches the girl just before falling in front of him.
“Are you okay?” the dark haired man asked you as one of his shorter- much shorter- friends came to your help.
“You almost had quite a fall,” the shorter one talked and laughed.
As surreal as it seemed, they were the boys from Greta Van Fleet. You gulped and your cheeks heated up.
“Yeah, thanks for catching me,” you managed to say. “I would have probably been missing a tooth now if it weren’t for you,” you tried to lighten up the atmosphere.
“Daniel, actually Danny,” the man who caught you presented himself and his lips formed a smile. But you already knew who was each one of them, and honestly, you were trying not to fangirl.
“Y/F/N,” you introduced yourself.
The shorter one stretched out his hand. “Josh,” he said and you grabbed it and shook it. “These are my brothers, Jake and Sam,” he added and pointed to each one of them. The two of them witnessed the whole thing as well, but immediately resumed looking through a small basket of necklaces.
“I’m a big fan,” you spoke up and your cheeks heated up a little bit more.
They all stopped what they were doing, and a smile spread on all their faces. “Happy to hear that! It is an overwhelming feeling, at least for me, every time we meet fans, because we have been fans all our lives, and now we are the ones sharing a message and people are taking it in with love,” Josh said.
His little speech made you smile and just as you were about to say something, Lisa approached you.
“Have you seen this-“ she started but stopped. “Oh my…”
The boys laughed at her reaction as you stood in silence, figuring you already had the color of a tomato, but it didn’t matter.
“Are you coming to the gig tomorrow?” Sam asked, his brown eyes looking straight into yours. You just nodded as an answer. “Do you live here?” he questioned again and this time Lisa confirmed.
“Cool! Can’t wait to see you there!” Josh joined in the chat. “You said your name is Y/N, right?” he asked again as he took a post-it note out of his khaki pants’ back pocket and took a ballpoint pen off the counter in the store. You nodded again and watched him with interest.
“Here you go,” he said quickly and handed you the post-it. It had a VIP backstage code that stood instead of a pass for the concert tomorrow. Both you and Lisa got one.
You gasped as your eyes burned a little, that little burn before the tears. You hugged Josh and thanked him multiple times. “Sorry, shouldn’t have done that,” you admitted slightly embarrassed at your behavior.
“It’s alright darling,” he smiled and hugged you back.
The hugs continued for a quite a while. These boys were so humble and down to earth. They had the kindest souls that you have ever crossed paths with. It still seemed so surreal. Meeting them in your local thrift store wasn’t something you expected when you woke up that morning.
“So since you’re locals, would you want to show us around for a good place to have lunch?” Jake asked and smiled.  Lisa let out an excited squeal and nodded.
“What kind of place would you like to go to?” you asked, trying to contain yourself.
“Whichever is your favorite, since you two will be joining us,” Josh grinned.

Reylo and my meta/predictions
So i was watching almost every video i could find on youtube and read almost every meta i could find online regarding reylo, kylo/ben or rey since i joined this fandom.
So first of all this fandom rocks.
And now i make my own meta and predictions for the last episode. While i don’t like to to adore myself with borrowed plumes i like to thank all of the people inspiring me on tumblr and youtube.
So first of all what is SW about? its about family, love, hope, friendship dozed with a little action. SW is not a pure action movie. SW is not a pure drama and its neither a pure comedy. So what to expect when a movie is about family, love, hope and friendship paired with some war and action? Well, there will be loads of love in it. i am not even sure if the so called Antis just refuse to accept that or if they are indeed not able to see it. but enough of them and lets start with my results of the investigation. I call it investigation because the last month really felt like it haha.
So what do i think happens in ep 9?
Tumblr media
Definately Relyo. I have absolutely no doubt it will happen which was different when i came here because i was afraid of another jonerys tragedy (no i am not comparing GOT with SW but a ship is a ship and it broke my heart)
I am convinced that the force brought these two together and we all know that the force is strong. Why did the force do it in the first place? Because its out of balance and the chosen one which was assumed to be Anakin failed. Why did Anakin fail? It was his possesive love for Padme and a few other reasons i am not going to mention here though. Love made him weak. We could now argue love makes kylo/ben weak too but its the opossite. And why do i think that? First of all Ben is not Kylo. Ben is Ben he just chose to give himself a different name but deep down its still the same person. Its like in real life when people try to be someone else because the pain is too much to cope with. With Ben though its much more complex which deserves its own meta.
So who makes love stronger and not weaker? Ben Solo.
Tumblr media
Who is Ben Solo? First of all he IS the last male skywalker. Thats a fact which has also been confirmed multiple times. No idea why people still questioning that. He is a troubled young men who is strong with the force and falls in love with Rey. Sounds familiar? Look around happens all the time in real life too. And we learned that SW is about Love. People who watched and i mean who really watched all the previous movies will agree with me on that. I mean Anakin and Padme? Han and Leia? Lukes love for his father? Obi Wans love for Anakin? I could go on and on and on...
Coming back to the force and why it brought Rey and Ben together. When the force chose Anakin it failed. why? Because the force did not know that it needs two. The Ying and yang if you will. This is simple physics actually. Put one on a scale and it gets out of balance. Why Ben? Because he has this Skywalker blood which seems to have a certain importance in the Galaxy. Why Rey? Oh i can already hear people screaming because she is a skywalker, too. NOPE. She is not. Why isn’t she? Does it make sense to have two Skywalkers bringing back the balance to the force? NOPEbecause Luke and Darth Vader/Anakin couldnt either. They both failed. but they did not fail REDEMPTION!
Tumblr media
Yes, there will be redemption. There has to. You cannot have an inbalanced person bringing balance back to the force. How will he be redeemed? First of all its Ben who needs redemption not Kylo. There is no Kylo. He needs to truly want it. but what will initiate it? LOVE. Love from his family and Rey. I do not really know how this will happen but i expect that Luke and Anakin will play a role in it too. The Skywalker saga would not come to an end if not all of them ending it. so i really really hope we will see them in whatever way possible. Maybe in the world between worlds, who knows.
Who is Rey?
Tumblr media
I truly have no idea but what makes the most sense from my perspective is she was created by the force in some way. Ben did not lie to her when he said they were filthy junk traders selling her but i highly doubt they were her real parents. i also think that someone bought her and was trying to hide her for her own protection. From what? from the dark side of course. She would have made a good new apprentice. Who was the person who brought her there? i have no idea. I dont think it was Luke or Han, they would have remembered and since both are dead i would have expected it to be mentioned. Maybe it isnt important enough and we will never learn the truth or it will be a big surprise and it was leia or someone else we do not expect it to be.
I dont think she will ever go dark and i also believe that dark rey is either a vision or it wont even make it to the film. Rey can have dark moments here and there but not to a large extend. She is light, she believes in people, she fights for love and she fights for what is right. that is also the reason why i do not believe she is palpatines granddaughter. There was no indication so far so that would be a total gamechanger and i doubt we have enough time for that plot. What i do believe though is he knows about her and is trying to win her for his side. The novel indicates she heard a voice saying „kill him“ but she refused. I could be wrong though and this is exaclty what happens. i wont like it i am totally honest here but i trust J.J.to make it make sense.
Palpatine alias Darth Sidious. He is pure evil. The latest poster and trailer indicates he is coming back.
Tumblr media
but how? I dont think he will be an incarnation or himself but spiritual. His mind is alive but not his body. So what does he want? What he always wanted evil power. He thought Anakin will bring him all this power but we all know how that ended. He sees another chance, another skywalker and another person strong with the force. If he could win the both of them he will gain even more power than expected. I have no idea how this will all playout but i could imagine he promises both something they are longing for. How can he be deveated? With Ben and Rey.
Yes, Ben and Rey will team up.
Tumblr media
first of all because they have to. Sencond of all because its their fate and third of all because they love each other. How? He needs redemption first and the rest happens naturally.
I believe his redemption arc will start at the end or middle of the second quarter. Or maybe even later in the movie. In the beginning of the film he will remain dark and he will fight against rey. Not because he truly wants to kill her. He loves her he would never do such thing but because they will fight on opposite sides. I also believe they both try to avoid the force bonding/galaxy skype. They might have dreams or visions or i dont know but they will try to avoid it. Which makes them DESPERATE!Because that is not what the force wants and neither is it really what they want cause they are CONNECTEDand that is why their relationship is VERY VERY COMPLICATED. What would be awesome is if Leia senses it somehow and rey and herself have a great chat about it. i would loooove that. I really hope that happens. She has to tell her that she wants someone to wear her mothers dresses. Gosh if that happens i will die in my seat.
So when will we see a kiss? Or their commitment to each other? When do they finally say it?
Tumblr media
i really struggle with this one but i think it wont be so obvious and it wont happen in the last 5 mins either. I was thinking about the „i’ll come back to you i promise sweetheart“ quote a lot recently. I am convinced that Ben will say those words to Rey. I think he will do something dangerous and she will be upset. They wont kiss when he says it but i could imagine he will touch her face while he says those words. It will be breathtaking. and that is the moment when i say „i told you so and so did my 9 year old kid (i dont have one but a child can figure Reylo out). I dont even know if there will be a kiss. I would prefer it but if they make it Pride and Prejedice 2005 like its fine. As long as it is 10000000% clear where this leads to. I also think there will be a child or more. But i also think we will not see them. It will be mentioned i guess. Or it will be a vision. Could be anything. But there will be future Solos/Skywalkers. The reason is simple. Disney did not buy LF to end the Skywalker saga for once and for all. They have to leave this door open to have a chance to make new movies related to it. i am fine with that as long as it wont have anything to do with D&D.
So why do i believe reylo is a thing, canon, endgame and one of the best love stories in years (at least for me)
Because it makes sense and its obvious. Its obvious since the TFA. Why? That!
Tumblr media
and that!
Tumblr media
„it is you“... yes, she is from your visions/dreams Ben
Tumblr media
yes rey, its the voice which sounds so familiar and yes thats your prince right there.
Tumblr media
and dont get me started with TLJ
yeah we all know what you guys wanted to do in that elevator
Tumblr media Tumblr media
this is pure.. so pure
Tumblr media
this is not the end for the two of them...

[PT-48]—Jikook Social Media AU—Focus (On Me!) 💫AU
Jungkook’s tattoos each had a meaning.
Yep, every single one on his body had a story behind it, a person who either inspired the ink on his skin or a memory that was too good to forget so easily, Jungkook always the one to treasure the most important things in life.
The angel wings with black and white feathers on his back were there in memory of his first girlfriend, who lost her life due to losing her battle to her drug addiction, leading to her downfall at the young age of eighteen. They connected with the tattoo on his chest which was of two ravens fighting over a heart. Jungkook had gotten that done when he had released his first EP, only nineteen at the time, the royalty check enough to get him a good tattoo artist to do his former best friend and ex-girlfriend justice.
The koi fish representing Ying and Yang behind his ears were there for his parents, who balanced him out on his anger issues when he was younger almost flawlessly. He had those done on a whim in Japan, Osaka to be exact, where he had been missing his parents one night and made his way down to the nearest tattoo studio, putting up with the pain even during the concert he had the following day.
The hangul he had on the back of his nape were for his hyungs, who stood with him from the start of career and would no doubt be with him until the end of it, having stood there through all of Jungkook’s tantrums and fits of anger, even going as far as to finding him a therapist that would do one on one sessions, no matter how much it cost them. He had those done in Seoul, during his Asia tour for 88Rising when his hyungs had a soundcheck and he had some free time, the first names of his little family going down his neck vertically.
All of his tattoos were on him for a reason, Jungkook always made sure of that. He didn’t want to go and get something dumb like a skull engulfed in flames just to regret it as time went by---no, Jungkook was smart, he only got tattoos when he felt that someone or something deserved it, earned to be on his body.
Though yes, he has a lot of tattoos despite that rule, but Jungkook’s met a lot of people worthy of the privilege. He’s picky but he knows when people or when something deserve what they earn.
That’s why he had ended up calling his personal tattoo artist, Taeil, to do some work on him in the morning, eating some cereal and walking his precious dogs before he had hunkered down to get his pieces down, one on his right cheekbone and the other on his stomach.
He had to get a personal tattoo artist because every single time he walked into a shop, fans would follow, and despite the artists being fine with the attention, Jungkook almost always felt bad for making the place go wild with his fans at the door.
Taeil had been introduced to him by Yoongi, who had a couple of pieces done by him also. Jungkook had formed a friendship with the older man who seemed to be happy working with Jungkook whenever he called, which is why he responded to his abrupt call with no problems.
“Who’s it for this time?” Taeil asked as the tattoo gun buzzed, tracing the lines of art he had etched onto Jungkook. The rapper was leaning back in the seat he had especially for these appointments, looking up at the ceiling of his living room with a sigh, music playing lowly in the background.
“Thought you’d know with my business all up on the news and shit,” He mumbled, flicking his eyes down to Taeil. Jungkook’s never been through such a scandal like the one he was going through now.
After that dick Jaebum had exposed him on Twitter, he hadn’t left his house other than to walk his dogs this morning, and that’s only because they got restless. He didn’t leave with a hat and a mask to cover his face though, since people had to know who he was for getting involved with Jimin.
The man huffed, flicking his eyes to look up at Jungkook before focusing on the tattoo again, black gloves stretched over his hands.
“I do, but it’s always nice to hear from the person themselves,” Taeil sighed, stopping his gun to change the ink bottle. Jungkook had been lying there for nearly two hours, the tattoo on his right cheekbone that was only about an inch big already done and slathered in antibiotic cream.
He was almost done, he knew it, and had been nicely accommodated in his chair while Taeil hunched, tracing the design he had asked for onto his skin carefully.
Jungkook’s design was really something else, something he had never expected Taeil to do so brilliantly for him, under a constrained amount of time too. It was a pair of two, Lotus Blossoms to be exact, tinted blue and purple while in full bloom, flames underneath them and the tips of the petals charred.
There was a crooked halo above one of the blossoms, a pointy golden crown on top of the other, both highlighted with a golden glow. The one on his cheek was a small cursive ‘J’, with the top curved out into an angel wing.
The tattoo, or, the tattoos, were no doubt for Jimin, Jungkook’s only thought at the moment about his lover, or, well, ex-lover. Since the drama had started, he hadn’t been near his phone, not while all of his social media was blowing up.
He had deleted everything from Instagram to Gmail before he had touched it again, only ever responding to his hyungs. Jimin was still blocked and Jungkook tried hard to take his mind of the angelic man, trying things from working out at home to playing with his dogs only to find that there was always something that reminded him of Jimin.
His anger issues were always a stigma for the people he was around, always automatically thinking he was some kind of beast because of his temper. He hadn’t mentioned it to Jimin because he was getting better, and that wasn’t a lie, but his mandatory sessions had ended a month before they had met and even though his hyungs still wanted him to go to his therapist, Jungkook didn’t see a point in continuing the treatment any longer.
If people saw him as a regular person before his condition was revealed, then that meant that the sessions had to have been working, right? There was no need to see his therapist anymore, no need to talk about his fucking feelings over and over again anymore, right?
Maybe not, but Jungkook was shackled up in his house and he couldn’t stop thinking about Jimin, so he might’ve called his therapist and started his sessions up again through the phone.
He wouldn’t tell his hyungs just yet though, they would only make him feel worse about himself.
“My back hurts,” Jungkook complained listlessly, really only doing it to see Taeil get annoyed. Much to his penchant, Taeil rolled his eyes, which lightened his mood a little.
“Shut up, at least you’re not gonna leave here looking like the fucking hunchback,” The tattooist scowled as he capped the dark blue ink and bent down again, the gun whirring to life again and touching Jungkook’s stomach once more. The rapper laid back with a sense of relaxation he had only by getting used to the process of getting tattooed. God knows he’s done this too many times already, but that definitely wouldn’t stop him from getting more.
It felt like only five minutes had passed while another hour flew by under Jungkook’s nose. The whole time he had been humming along to the music playing, trying not to think about Jimin’s eyes or Jimin’s smile while he focused his eyes on the intricate ceiling lamp in his living room. Taeil had sighed and sat up straight, cracking his back in the process with a small groan of satisfaction leaving his lips, taking off the glasses he had on for the small details off when he was done.
“All done?” Jungkook asked, feeling Taeil’s fingers smooth on the cream onto his tattoo. The older man hummed in confirmation, snapping his gloves off of his wrists and tossing them into the small garbage bin Jungkook had brought in before they started, rolling his neck around.
“Yeah,” The artist yawned the word out, stretching his hands. Jungkook was already moving to sit up, careful with the slight sting that the tender skin on his stomach carried, “You can go check, I’ll start cleaning up.”
Jungkook nodded before he shuffled to his hallway, looking over the new piece to his collection with careful eyes.
The design had come out as beautifully as it did on paper, even the lines of the flowers carefully traced over. Jungkook couldn’t help but admire the work of art on his skin, inspired by his one and only muse. It’s been about a week since this bullshit’s gone down and Jungkook isn’t even afraid to admit that he misses his small, cherubic ball of sexy-sunshine.
Jungkook’s spent the week going through a whirl of emotions---from aggressive anger that he let out in his home gym to a drowning sadness he let his hyungs take care of, it’s been worse than a woman going through her PMS mood swings. Yeah, he did cry that day where things went to shit because Jimin was the best thing that’s ever happened to him in a long time, and that’s no exaggeration. Jungkook didn’t feel worthy of being in front of Jimin anymore, not when he had to find out about his condition through his asshole ex-boyfriend and broke their unspoken rule of no more secrets between them.
He didn’t belong in the presence of an angel, he really didn’t. Jungkook was a sinner, he knew it and he didn’t even go to church, for fuck’s sake. Jimin may not be innocent either, but in Jungkook’s world, he was as pure as the angels in the sky were, while he was one of the devil’s cronies.
Jungkook couldn’t face him, no matter what. Even if Jimin wanted to see him, it would be too embarrassing, the sense of having let the singer down too overwhelming for someone as emotionally unstable as Jungkook.
And that’s why he had gotten the tattoos done, to save him that embarrassment. If he couldn’t bring himself to see Jimin again, he would always carry pieces of him, of the best thing he’s ever had in his life, something that was his.
Although, Jimin wasn’t really his anymore, was he?
“Kook!” Taeil called for him from the living room, “Kook, yah! Come here, Namjoon is on the phone,”
Jungkook snapped out of his trace with the tattoos and blinked, his hair falling into his eyes messily. He turned around and walked back to the living room, brow raised as Taeil shoved his phone at him, lips pursed while he went back to sorting his things in the right place, Jungkook bringing his phone up to his ear slowly.
“Hyung?” The younger rapper asked tentatively.
Within a second, he was literally bombarded with the voices of his hyungs.
“Jungkook, you piece of absolute shit!” He heard Yoongi growl, tone malicious. The raven winced at the sharp voice of his hyung, not having heard that attitude in Yoongi’s voice ever since he got lost in Walmart that one time, and even then, it wasn’t as fierce as it was now,
“Where’s your phone, goddamn it, we’ve been calling and texting you for like an hour!”
Jungkook rubbed the back of his neck, “Taeil was doing some work on me,” He told them apologetically, checking the time with a glance of his eyes to his cable box.
5:50 PM, he read. Damn, they had taken a while.
“Jesus, I want to just kill you sometimes,” Hoseok muttered, annoyance lacing his tone, “Please tell us you’re at least caught up with what’s going on? Kook, please?”
At that, Jungkook drew a blank, “Uh,” He mumbled, playing with the hairs on his nape. He hadn’t told his hyungs about the lack of any social media on his phone, but now was a good time than never.
“I deleted all of those apps, like, Twitter and shit?” Jungkook exhaled, rubbing his hand back and forth across his neck, “I didn’t want to see any of the hate thrown at me, so I just deleted them before I could get sucked into that, so,”
“Is he serious?” Jungkook now heard Namjoon speaking, though it was far, and he could practically see the frown on his hyung’s face from the way his voice sounded. He didn’t understand why they were mad, this is usually what they did whenever a scandal popped up for them too. “Kook, shit, you really haven’t heard of anything? Like, nothing at all? Not even a word? Have you even spoken to Hwasa?”
Jungkook frowned, “No?” He replied, earning sighs and muffled curses from the group over the line. Taeil waved to get his attention that he was leaving, Jungkook sending him a distracted wave before the door shut, leaving him alone with just his hyungs over the phone. “Guys, what’s wrong? Has the problem really gotten that bad? Is Jimin okay? Jaebum said something else?”
Yoongi sighed in frustration, “No, Kook, god---look, you need to download all those apps again and get with the fucking program because this shit has somehow taken a turn,” Shuffling was heard and Jungkook heard traffic in the background, which meant that his hyungs were probably on their way over.
Great, just great.
“Also, turn on E! like right now,” Hoseok added in from afar, though Jungkook heard it clearly.
“What’s this all about, guys, seriously,” The younger sighed, turning around to search for his TV remote, finding it rather quickly on his coffee table. Jungkook turned around and clicked his flat-screen on, turning to the desired channel that his hyungs wanted on it to see the beginning of a special Jungkook didn’t know about.
But he was interested immediately when he saw Jimin on the screen.
“Hyungs, what…” Jungkook couldn’t even finish his sentence, raising the volume on his TV as the announcer began to spoke, showing clips and pictures of the famed Jimin Park.
“...Known as the world’s sweetheart with an incredible set of vocals, Jimin Park has managed to break record after record in his time as an artist. With his face used for modeling, his voice used for singing, and his words used for acting, there isn’t one person who doesn’t know who this Korean-American legend is in America, or anywhere really,”
“Jungkook, sit down, watch it, and download those apps,” Yoongi told his once again, voice softer than before, “We’re on our way.”
“Okay,” The raven said mindlessly, phone still to his ear even when Yoongi had hung seconds ago. His eyes and ears were focused on the screen, soaking in the praises that the TV announcer was giving to Jimin like a sponge, agreeing with it all because it was true, the man really was something.
But it made no sense as to why Jungkook had to watch this though.
“...Three years ago, Jimin Park was in a relationship with the singer JB, or better yet known as, Jaebum Im,” The announcer spoke over images of the two together, smiling, laughing, and being a couple. Jungkook felt something rise in him as he took a seat, downloading all of his social media apps once again with his ears tuning out the TV.
He snapped his head up again when he heard the word overdose.
What? Jungkook scrambled for the remote and put the volume up once again, phone in his lap while he closed in on the screen, elbows resting on his knees.
“A couple of days ago, the true light of this relationship between Jimin Park and JB was exposed by Jimin Park himself in a message to jk, the same rapper JB told had anger issues. In this message on Instagram, Jimin Park posted a photo of jk and left him a heartfelt message where he also told the public of JB’s abusive nature, ranging as from sexual abuse and drug abuse,”
Jungkook blinked.
Drug abuse? Excuse me?
“...And here today at E! is the man himself, Jimin Park, to share his story with the world,” The TV finally showed Jimin, who Jungkook hadn’t seen in a week, smiling gently at the female host, hair in a sandy blonde undercut, his tresses curled and his makeup light, wearing a pale blue hoodie and some jean shorts.
“Good evening,” The man spoke up softly, hands in his lap, “Thank you for having me here on such short notice,”
The host shook her head, “It’s not a bother, we support you here at E! Jimin,” Her smile was small and sympathetic, Jungkook not bothering to glance at it another time as he focused on Jimin, who smiled back, cheeks flushed.
Beautiful, was all Jungkook could think. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
The host cut through his thoughts with a gentle question, “Is there anything you would like to say first before the interview starts?”
Jimin nodded, looking up to the camera.
“Thank you for all of your support, everyone, I appreciate it,” The blonde relayed to the camera sincerely, teeth snagging his lower lip as he glanced down to his lap then back up at the camera, looking at it harder this time.
Jungkook swore on everything that he was looking at him, for him, something.
“And, um, Jungkook---I love you so much,” Jimin stopped to suck in a shaky breath, eyes glassy and teeth still nibbling on his lower lip.
“I love you too, so much,” Jungkook spoke gently to no one, only to a TV screen that couldn't respond back.
Jimin went on, wiping away a tear that managed to fall from his eye, “Please don’t get upset if you’re watching this, I’m really okay now,”
A lie at it’s finest, Jungkook knew it very well, but he sat back and readied himself to be shocked anyway.
He wanted to see how much of a turn things took.

One Shot - B.A.P!gang AU [Part 1]
I’m reblogging and reposting this because I have edited it to fit with the new direction I have decided to take this. And I’m really excited to share it with you since I have literally been working on this since I started this blog - this just happens to be the story that started it all even though it sat in my drafts for well over a year before posting it. After some mild changes and extensive plotting, I think it’s about time to start sharing it with you! I really hope you enjoy and feedback is always welcome [:
**This does include violence and strong language.

This was far from the life Jongup had envisioned for his sister. Hell, this wasn’t exactly the kind of life he had wanted for himself. In truth, he was sure none of the group members had really planned to end up like this; it all just kind of happened.
Growing up together, they had always been an odd group of friends, considering the age differences between quite a few of them. Still, somehow it just worked. Everyone had their own personality that placed them in their own unique role in the group and completed their little puzzle of unconditional friendship. They created their own dysfunctional family of sorts.
Yongguk, also known as Bang, had always been the leader, looking over the younger members like a father, protecting everyone one from anything and everything that would ever threaten them.  He was the cornerstone of the group; the one everyone looked to for guidance. Then there was Himchan, Bang’s right-hand man and more-or-less the mother of the group. He kept everyone in line while making sure they were always well cared for.  He was the one to offer support when needed. Daehyun and Youngjae had always been a dynamic duo. It was rare to see one without the other, though their personalities could hardly be any different. Youngjae was soft-spoken and thoughtful while Daehyun was boisterous and mischievous. In the end, they balanced and complemented one another like ying and yang, offering the group a mixture of spontaneity and intelligence. Jongup was the quiet, shy one that came off as a little naive, but he was loyal to a fault much like a puppy. Junhong, or Zelo as he preferred, was the baby of the group that everyone looked after with a protective eye even though he was by no means weak or incapable. In fact, most of the time, he showed more skill than the others; though, he was humble about it. His modesty came in the form of blindly idolizing Yongguk as if he was his own big brother that could do no wrong.  This affection actually played quite a big role in Bang’s actions as he was always careful to set a good example for the maknae. And then there was Y/N, Jongup’s older sister. She had always been the energy of the group and the third piece to the Dae and Jae’s troublemaking squad, like their final triplet. She was the final piece to the puzzle that kept everyone connected and accentuated the value of each and every one of them.
And now they had to get her back.
“What the hell happened?!” Himchan roared as Zelo limped into the rundown warehouse that made up the headquarters for their small gang.  The worried tone to his voice alerted the others, and within a fraction of a second, the youngest member was surrounded by matching expressions of worry and confusion as they noted his bloody and disheveled appearance. “Zelo,” Himchan tried again, this time in a low, soft inflection as his dark eyes probed his friend for an explanation, perceiving the turmoil the younger male was experiencing.
Zelo’s lip quivered and his breaths became erratic as he finally pulled his gaze from the concrete floor to meet the gazes of his group of friends.  The first tear escaped his pain filled eyes and raced down his cheek only to mix with the smear of blood discoloring his porcelain skin.  The salty droplet was tainted pink with the cruor before it fell silently onto the boy’s shirt.  His display of grief only heightened the apprehension amongst the others.
“Where’s Y/N?” Yongguk questioned, breaking the silence as his eyes scanned the empty space behind Zelo, expecting in vain for Jongup’s sister to stride through the door and appease the pit forming in his stomach.  The feigned composure in his voice drew a sob from the youngest member before he confirmed the group’s worst fear.
“They got her.”
Everyone felt the weight of the statement.  The air surrounding them suddenly took on a heaviness as it drew itself from their lungs.  Their hearts clench and their stomachs drop to the floor, as they each battled their emotions over the grim news.  Himchan lets go of the grasp he had on Zelo’s shoulders and took a step back as his mind reeled over the events that were to come of this.  His mouth fell open and closed before he turned away from the young member.  He ran a stressed hand through his thick locks before releasing a growl and throwing one of the tool trays to the floor creating a loud crash as the metal tools clanged against the floor and dispersed in various directions.  Zelo was the only one to flinch from the commotion, continuing to cry as Bang cursed and stalked off to his private office. Jongup gasped on his breath and fell into the nearest chair while Youngjae and Daehyun each entombed their emotions and instead directed their focus on Zelo, helping him across the garage to sit on the couch. A pained groan escaped the young man as he slumped onto the worn piece of furniture, clutching his ribs.
Himchan halted his paces only to cross the distance separating himself from Zelo.  He knelt before the young man, locking his eyes with him.  “What exactly happened? Did they say they say anything?” His focus searched Zelo’s expression, watching for any and every change that could be a silent clue to the events that only the youngest had witnessed.
Zelo shook his head and hiccupped on his sobs.  “I don’t know.  We were on our way back and they just pulled up in an SUV and jumped us. They were yelling about something, but I don’t know what they were saying.  I was just trying to fight them off-”  He choked on another sob before bringing his sad eyes to look up at Himchan.  “And then they just stopped and got back in their car and drove off.  I didn’t even realize they had taken her until it was too late.”  He wiped the salty moisture from his face as he took a shaky breath.  “I should have paid more attention. I should have protected her.  I’m so sorry.”  His gaze dropped to his lap once more as silent tears dampened the fabric of his jeans.
It took nearly a half hour to calm Zelo down, and even longer to convince Jongup that rushing after Y/N with guns blazing was not the best course of action.  They had no information to go from, no indication as to what the kidnappers planned to do with her, much less why they took her in the first place.  They were at a standstill for the time being and each passing second tore further and further into their resolve.
Two days passed since Jongup’s sister was taken and the event had taken a clear toll on the group.  The silence amongst them was deafening as they waited for something… anything.  There was no word from those that had taken which only caused greater grief amongst the close group.  Waiting with such uncertainty was wearing their nerves thin.
“They haven’t asked for ransom.  That’s a bad sign, isn’t it?” Daehyun broke the silence, anxious to talk about the situation.  Instead of answers, he only received glares for voicing these thoughts aloud as Jongup clenched his jaw and dropped his gaze to his lap.
Seated beside Daehyun, Youngjae cleared his throat.  “It doesn’t have to be a bad sign.  For all we know she could have gotten away from them and they have no leverage to hold over us.  You guys know how slick she can be,” he offered, hoping to relieve any tension he possibly could.  The silence was nearly driving him mad, but what was even worse was this sitting around with no plan of action.  He hated playing the waiting game; it made his skin crawl, but what was most important for the time being was to keep themselves together and prepared for what was to come.  He had already done everything he could to get the information to locate her and move things along, but even his expertise at hacking had failed him.
“If that was the case, why isn’t she here?” Jongup challenged, keeping his gaze tied to his hands that rested in fists on his lap.
Youngjae had no real answers to that.  There were many plausible answers.  Still, none seemed worthy of mentioning at the moment.  Speculation was one thing; giving false hopes was another.  He wasn’t going to be the one to put out a bunch of lame excuses or scenarios of why they should hope for the best when things were clearly not in their favor.  Y/N is well known for her ability to weasel her way out of situations, but there’s always going to be that one time when she can’t.  All things considered, it’s seeming as if they had finally encountered that one time.  This new gang seemed to finally be their match, and after what they had done to Sleepy, there is no saying what kind of fate is in store for Y/N.
A loud bang against the garage door grabbed all of their attention.  Before any of those seated on the couches could respond, Bang finally opened the door of his office and made an appearance.  It was the first any of the others had seen of him in those two days.  The others speculated that he was hermitting himself away as he worked himself tired to come up with a plan of action or beating himself up over her kidnapping.  As wise and strong as their leader was, it was no secret that his greatest weakness was his bleeding heart - especially for those in this very group.  He took his role as the eldest and their leader extremely seriously; their safety and well-being was his responsibility.  No matter what anyone else said, there was no swaying him from that thought.
It took only a few prolonged seconds for their leader to open the door and find the thumb drive that had been left behind for him to find as the messenger raced away on a motorbike.  Yongguk stepped out to the street and watched his best lead get away with no hope of being able to catch up with the head-start this helmeted foe had.  It only served to anger him more as the burdening feeling of helplessness pulled his shoulders even lower.  Closing his eyes and licking his lips, the leader gave a deep breath before turning back to the garage, joining the others in their makeshift sitting area. “Youngjae, do you have your laptop?”
Without question, Youngjae nodded and pulled his laptop out of his bag sitting on the floor beside his feet.  The others watched in curiosity as their leader placed the laptop on the coffee table before them all and stuck the USB into the computer.  Immediately the drive opened on the screen with a single video in its contents.  Bang swallowed the lump in his throat before clicking the video’s thumbnail.  Immediately, each of the members flinched as though they had been punched in the gut as the image of a tired and beaten Y/N filled the screen.  Blood stained the side of her face and clung to the locks of hair that surrounded.  Her eyes drooped, obviously begging to close before she glanced up and looked directly at the camera.  Sweat mingled with the blood as it dripped down her chest that heaved with each gasping breath she took.  It was utterly heartbreaking to see their Y/N in such a condition.
Suddenly their view of Y/N was obstructed when a large man wearing a mouth mask stepped in front of the camera.  Though half his face was covered, it was clear by the crinkling of his eyes that he was grinning.
“Things haven’t gone according to plan, have they? You thought you were just going to send her in and have us do your dirty work? I’m offended by the extent that you underestimate us.”  The man shook his finger tauntingly.  “Haven’t the others questioned how we so easily got our hands on your girl?  Or even why we have her in particular?  Or do you all underestimate one another as well?”  He chuckled.  “How does it feel to know you’ve got a traitor amongst you that’s low enough to hand over one of your own for their own agenda?”  The man gave another haunting chuckle before the screen went dark, leaving the group to process the information they had been given.

Predispositions
Season 2. Aubrey. MSR
January 1995
The case, though gruesome and more than bizarre, had brought about their familiar banter and renewed the easygoing nature of their partnership. She felt more like herself again, and he didn’t look at her with worried eyes today. On the contrary, he threw all his theories at her without a single concern that she wouldn’t be able to return them with a scientific pitch of her own. He seemed impressed with her women’s intuition on what was going on with Detective Morrow, though he figured out that she was the perpetrator of the recent crimes in Aubrey, Missouri.
As they made their way to the Columbia Regional Airport, she gazed over at him in the driver’s seat. She couldn’t help feel a little flushed as he undressed another sunflower seed in between his teeth.
“Penny for your thoughts, Scully?” he offered with a quick but endearing glance in her direction. His right hand gripped the steering wheel while the other cradled his favorite snack. She stared at the salty seeds in his hand and his eyes tracked her gaze. “Oh, I’m sorry, Scully. You want some?”
“No, I’m fine,” she replied quickly. As much as she enjoyed having his full attention while discussing a case, Fox Mulder’s intelligent eyes and raspy baritone also made her feel flustered. “Thank you.”
“What?” he inquired with eyes back on the road.
“Do you really believe you eat those because you’re genetically predisposed?”
He smirked and she felt a warmth spread throughout her belly. These were the effects that he had on her body that she tried to control but couldn’t. Sometimes she felt so smitten with him that her need to remind herself that she was a professional, a medical doctor to boot, was starting to become part of her daily routine.
“Why else?” He looked over at her with a hint of ‘prove me wrong’ on his face. “Wasn’t my hunch about Detective Morrow correct?”
“I thought you didn’t have those?” she countered jokingly with a raised eyebrow.
She was graced with a full-fledged smile this time. It’s a sight she enjoyed more than she cared to admit. His eyes slightly squinted when he smiled and the imagery of a younger version of himself before he lost his sister and got exiled to the basement office filled her psyche to make her heart ache a little.
“Honestly, Scully, even with all that we saw back there, you don’t think genetic memory was a factor?”
“Well, at first it was very hard to believe Cokely’s memories could be passed down genetically to his granddaughter, especially since they had no way of knowing of their connection prior to this,” she admitted reluctantly. “You were right, Mulder, but I still can’t really explain it.”
He hummed his satisfaction at hearing her words and his pouty lips formed into a smug smile. “So tell me about my affinity for these.”
He popped another seed in his mouth, the little crunch it gave provided her with a sense of tranquility.
“Well, you just like the taste and they may also remind you of your father which in turn provide a comforting memory,” she stated matter of fact. “They’re more of an oral fixation than a predisposition.”
The rise of his eyebrows gave away his genuine interest and surprise.
“Wow, Scully, please tell me more,” he teased with a tone laden with innuendo.
A slight warmth in her cheeks became apparent due to the direction that their conversation was taking.
“Well, I’m certain you’re aware of Freud’s theory about the oral receptive personality. There’s a need to reduce tension through oral activity such as, uh, eating, drinking, smoking, and nail biting, just to name a few,” she recited with textbook accuracy. “They are generally needy and sensitive to rejection, and they will easily believe other people’s ideas.”
A small laugh escaped his lips and his face cringed slightly when he spoke, “Oh.”
“Oh no, Mulder, I didn’t mean for that to come off like that,” she voiced quickly. Her heart dropped at the feeling she crossed a line. The last thing she wants is for him to think she disapproves of him in any way. It’s not very clear why that matters so much to her. She had some idea but not one she wanted to admit. “I wasn’t trying to-”
“No, no, Scully,” he reassured her. With no more sunflower seeds to hold, his left hand took control of the car while his right hand came to rest over hers. He lightly squeezed her hand where it rested on her left thigh. “You’ll have to do a lot more than that to offend me.”
The soft humming of the car engine added to the ambiance of the moment. She looked down to take in the sight of his hand resting on hers. It was warm, soft, and fully encompassed her smaller one. She licked her bottom lip slowly as if doing so would also make the seconds go by at such a pace. It’s been a long time since a man had touched her in this way. Though it wasn’t sexual, there was something so intimate about it that it made her stomach flip flop with nervous energy.
“That’s not what I think about you, Mulder.”
His hand still covered hers and it didn’t surprise her that she didn’t mind it. It’s something she was accustomed to since Mulder is a tactile person. She ascertained that his fervent search for the truth and it’s elusiveness, logically and naturally, inclined him to reach out and touch everything as a form of proof. That was a definite predisposition of his.
“You should think far worse of me,” he murmured under his breath.
Her hand shifted under his and their fingers instinctively clasped together like Ying and Yang. She squeezed his hand gently, reveling in their closeness. The horror and contradictions to reality that they witnessed through their work on the X-Files justified these kind of exchanges between them. It may not have been covered during their training as agents or encouraged but they were human after all and needed reassurance. Also knowing Mulder’s history and lack of contact with others, even his family, made her feel special. She was the only one allowed into his exclusive club of the FBI’s most unwanted and she cherished that.
“It’s my choice to be here, Mulder. We have work to do.”
He looked over at her, providing another enchanting smile before retracting his hand and returning it to the steering wheel. She felt proud for being able to reassure him with such minimal communication. In the short time they had been working together, their names, looks, and touches have become their own special brand of Morse Code. It was another unique aspect of their relationship that she had never experienced with anyone else, platonic or romantic.
“Freud was never my favorite theorist anyway,” he concluded with a shrug of his shoulders. “Contrary to his beliefs, never have I wanted or do I want to sleep with women who resemble my mother.”
“Yes, and I certainly have never or will I experience penis envy,” she confirmed with a shake of her head.
He parked the car upon their arrival to the airport. They shared a knowing look and burst out laughing.
“I really couldn’t do this without you, Scully.”
He gave her a little wink before stepping out of the SUV. She watched his agile form put on his suit jacket before going towards the back of the car to retrieve their bags.
Despite not agreeing with his theories, she trusted him undoubtedly and she knew she would follow him pretty much anywhere he called her. That’s what partners do but her subconscious liked to point out that there was more to her feelings towards him.
Interoffice relationships can be complicated.
Her own words came back to her. It’s a predisposition of hers that she could recognize. Involvement with co-workers in the past resulted in nothing but an awkward and complicated mess. She didn’t want what her and Mulder have to end up like that. It was best to simply enjoy their connection through the spirit of professionalism and friendship while searching for fulfillment in their work.
She stepped out of the car and met him on the sidewalk. His hand gently pressed on her lower back as they gathered their things and walked through the airport doors.
