still thinking about that very very old man who walks with his 2 incredibly energetic small terriers every morning and one day when the dogs started to fight each other in the middle of the street, he said in a very weary voice: "boys, please do not do this."

Valhalla just confirms my suspicious that putting Heimdall and Helios in the same room would be the closest thing the Nine Realms get to watching reality television. I bet Helios could make Heimdall cry.

Watching talks Machina for camping one. I love how Sam was so determined and sure he was going to save Vax. When asked if Vax's fate was sealed he was always like "never say never!". He had a plan from the start, he really thought he could do it. It must have been even more heartbreaking for him to having to make the sacrifice in the end.

same anon as before, you're so right i forgot about that photoshoot (mans stole my heterosexuality away with that one 😭)
i feel Spencer is catboy leaning, like if he wanted to he could for sure BE catboy but he's just not there yet.
Noah is dogboy leaning but i can't explain it, and so is Keith but in a chihuahua kind of way.
you're so so valid about that photoshoot it reawoke something in me when I saw it istg
All of those line up perfectly with what I had in my head, Spencer gives off subtle catboy energy but if the cat in question was Garfield or something (absolutely a positive thing)
I also added Tommy in at equilibrium (whenever I think of Spencer I also think of Tommy), cause he could lean either way and fit perfectly

In “HOW TO BE A DOG” (which I return to so so so often because it is so extremely beautifully, carefully written and I am in awe of your talent) does Gojo ever let her return to her career? How private is he about their relationship? Does she get to meet his side of the world?
i feel like i need to make an FAQ for htbad at some point because i get a lot of questions about this specific thing which i understand!! it doesn't bother me cause i get the curiosity but i left the end open so people could imagine whatever they like
in general gojo gives reader a lot of freedom(in a way) but he always tags a long with her. i don't know if he'd let reader keep working as a teacher forever (though i think its possible for a while), but since she can see curses i can see him forcing him to work w him at jujutsu high. she is very familiar with his side of the world as are his students and thats mostly because there gojo can parade her around with complete control and no one really questions it.
obviously no one knows that he is deeply insane and unhinged but a lot of people catch wind in the jujutsu world and sort of stand by. megumi + shoko are especially conscious but again, its not like they can't really do anything so they're nice to her in his place.
a lot of readers isolation comes from the fact she no longer has any real autonomy and she knows that. gojo will reward her for good behavior, so i think its possible for her to keep her job under the basis gojo doesn't think she'll try to go running her mouth etc but reader would def do just that given the chance. i think it'd take gojo some convincing that reader could behave but in all honesty i highly doubt she would want too

@justabiteofspite got me thinking about the OPPOSITE ways Gale would be an absolute grandpa and i'm screaming.
he also joins the local needleworking club, but it's to genuinely learn from older, more experienced needleworkers.
he keeps little wrapped caramels and cinnamon hard candies in his the pockets of his robe. this pocket is a request he gives whenever he has a robe made, specifically so he can hide candies in it.
He gets a copy of the daily paper for the puzzles sections so that he can find all the mistakes and send a red marked copy to the editor. He does this every week.
Gale's that grandpa that would be like "What'cha doin there, son?" and then have the kidlets of the group go on about something he knows nothing about because it's some new thing that the kids these days are into, and he just patiently sits there and listens. he is genuinely a hip grandpa who understands all the kids slang, but only bc he will let them talk his ear off.
his actual hand writing is not readable to anyone but him (because he's always been able to use magic for a speech to text type thing). he uses magic when he needs something legible.
He goes to the park to play lanceboard, but people quickly realize they cannot beat him and people stop trying to play with him, except for a single child who just. shows up one day, loses, then comes back and starts learning. child becomes a lanceboard champion. gale is very proud.
also cannot pass up a good estate sale. they have NO idea how much these magic items actually are. Gale gets SUCH a thrill when he finds rare magical tomes and spell books and the people holding the sale don't even know are incredibly rare and powerful. no he does not tell them. yes he gets that fucking discount.
also gets the senior discount, but it's not because he asks. people just give it to him.

Shit, fuck damn shit ok. The realisation that Hawthorne is only a year older than Ranpo just hit me like a jet plane wtf
So you’re telling me that THIS:
And THIS:
Are ONE YEAR APART
And I feel like if they met Ranpo would annoy the everloving shit out of Hawthorne and he’d be like “wtf get this preteen kid out of my sight” and Ranpo just goes “I’m 26” causing Hawthorne to have a seizure.
