Painting a map of me and my friend’s abode.

The observatory belongs to my wife, Fi-ette. The window lets my close family members watch the elevator, so it’s hard to come in uninvited.

The iron door is the entrance to my lab. The main entrance is flush with the wall, as evidenced by the flat line.

I’m not drawing Fo’s zone, because (a) it’s classified, and (b) it would be a huge pain to track its changes. My dad is the encryption master, so he would know what shenanigans Fo is up to.

“Authorized” is in gold, because Paperworld considers me to be a gold-ranked citizen. This means that I have the most liberties to travel anywhere in Paperworld. But there’s one place I dare not go. This place belongs to my archenemy: Hand.

“Personnel only” is in copper, because [Cu] traditionally represented military prestige.

Hand was originally an alien creature to Paperworld. I was among the first to meet him. I allowed him to maintain a “paper-form” but the experiment failed, and everyone perceives Hand to be a weird orange blob of slime.

Apparently Hand was also disappointed, because he promptly betrayed me and destroyed an entire continent’s worth of land to build his lair.

The environment is at the corner of Paperworld, so in the Main Arc, the derp-creatures really do have us surrounded. Just thinking about it puts me in suspense.

Ignore the black streaks on my house, I made sure my lab’s byproducts would be entirely solid to avoid pollution.

Small af lil action scene thing cuz i liked it whenever i wrote it initially lol

(We start with an action scene of a shadowdemon running through hallways of a building with all 3 Trio derps right on his ass. We see he's got on sunglasses to try and hide his eyes a bit and he's armed with a knife that's still in his hands as he fucking runs. We see him shove people out of the way harshly, trying to get to a stairwell door while Max is also shoving people, Sharky simply trys to either jump over them or get around them politely and Kristy just runs around the area entirely, dodging the people in her way. The shadowdemon gets to the stairwell just as Sharky and Max both get there. We see the shadowdemon fly down them to get out faster while Sharky instead runs down, taking 2 or 3 stairs at a time and Max just basically says mentally "fuck that shit" and jumps onto the railings and onto the other staircases, going faster and not giving a single fuck about the dangers of doing that shit. We cut to see the shadowdemon kick the fucking door open only to get immediately tackled by a teleporting Kristy. Kristy trys to get him in a chokehold but instead drops him when the shadowdemon slashes her arm with his knife. Kristy yelps out in pain and the shadowdemon keeps going. Max manages to get outside first and since he's so in the zone, he continues after the shadowdemon asshole, not realizing Kristy is hurt while when Sharky comes out, he immediately stops to help. Sharky trys to help Kristy while we cut back to Max who is right on this guys ass and doesn't fucking let up.) --------------------- This is why teamwork make the dream work tho cuz i imagine Max does eventually catch the asspirate lol...Also action stuff is hard af to write but god, it's fun and easier if you can see it in your head cuz that makes it easier to describe. I am sure i'll have more shit later to share lol...

Medalling with time has a consequence, the consequence of his choice is to be a slave to it until Fate decides he's no fun anymore or he escapes...but does he really want to escape anymore? It's been so long, what would even be the point of going back anymore? Would anyone still remember him? Probably not. No one escapes Fate and lives to tell the tale. Not even a traveller of time.

The day drawled on, but after four more cruel hours of torture, the final bell rang. Students flooded out of the buildings rushing for the gates, a cacophony of hoots and shouts.

It must be Friday, Chilled noted mentally as he shuffled out of the block behind the crowd. He scanned their heads, looking for Speedy.

“Anthony!”

He swivelled in the direction his name had been called to see Tay and Kruz walking toward him with someone he couldn’t recognise, “Hi guys.”

“Today was so long; I think if I have to put up with this for much longer, I’ll die,” Tay said, dramatically placing a hand on her head as they got to him.

Chilled titled his head, taking in the new person trying to figure out how he knew them.

“Oh shit, yeah, Anthony, Kara, Kara, Anthony.”

Kara. Do I know a Kara? It’s been so long since I’ve seen my friends I can’t even-

A nudge brought him back to reality, “You have to teach me how to do that, man,” Speedy said quietly.

Chilled looked at him confused, “Do wha-” then he noticed they were no longer in the schoolyard. Instead, they appeared to be at a park of some kind, and there were many more people than just Tay, Kruz and Kara with them, “when did we get here?”

Speedy chuckled, “I don’t know, Chilled; it’s not like we all just walked here or anything.” he joked, “but seriously, you had a whole conversation with the girls on the way here, apparently. They wouldn’t have known you were spiralling; I did because of earlier. What triggered it?”

How did I do that? What were we even talking about? How can I simultaneously be present but distant at the same time? Why are we here? Where is Shubble?

“That’s freaky, man; why’s he just staring at you like that?” Tay’s voice pulled him back.

Speedy shrugged, “Wish I could tell you, maybe he’s having a flashback,” he joked, wiggling his fingers in front of her.

“Sorry, just thinking.” Chilled mumbled, averting his gaze to the ground.

“Listen, I know I’m irresistible, but I don’t swing that way. Ow, hey!”

“Don’t crush Albi’s dreams, you dick,” Kruz said with a smirk.

Speedy opened his mouth to reply but quickly closed it.

Chilled chuckled, looking back up at the group, “Since when did you have to be thinking about the person you’re looking at? I zoned out lost by something else, no offence Spe-Lucas.” he said.

Speedy gasped, putting a hand to his heart, “Are you saying I’m ugly?”

Chilled opened his mouth to reply, but no words came out; he looked away from them in defeat, shaking his head.

The girls snickered, walking away, whispering things he couldn’t make out to each other.

“You know I meant nothing by that, yeah Chilled? I knew it would get them to go away, is all. I knew you weren’t serious. I-wait, oh…OH.”

Chilled shook his head, trailing after the girls wanting to leave the entire interaction behind him.

“Yo, it’s Anthony, right?” a familiar voice said from beside him.

He nodded, “Uh yeah. I guess.” at least that’s what I remember, my name. She can’t take that from me.

“Noticed we didn’t have any classes together. Thought I’d just check in to see how you’re finding your first day with our little crew.”

“It’s alright. What’s the deal with the fight this morning, you and Chee-Zach seem to know a lot about them.”

Platy laughed, “Alot about them? Man Steven and Skadj used to be our best friends when we were young. Us four were inseparable, y’know, best of the best.”

“What happened? I mean, you don’t have to tell me, obviously; you don’t even know me.” knives dug into his heart with every word he said.

“Dude, it’s pretty important to know why Tay and ‘pollo tell you to stay away from someone; they’re smart like that, y’know?”

Do I? Of course they are; they’re an unstoppable force when paired together in lobbies; why would it be any different in person…what’s a lobby?

“Anywho, their parents are like super-rich and all that, but until the Sugr’s showed up, they were never super into the whole ‘we have tonnes of money’ thing; they were pretty normal. But the Sugr’s are also like crazy rich and shit; it’s a surprise they ended up at our school, y’know? So anyway, something changed with the brothers, and they ditched us all and started picking fights. They’re not bullies, but I can’t tell you much about the Sugrs; that's Apollo’s department. You’d think he was down for one of them, yeah?”

He was fidgety this morning; that makes sense, honestly, “So do they still hang out with you guys at all?” he refused to look the other boy in the eye.

Platy laughed, “Fuck yeah, dude, they game with us all the time. Listen, if there’s one thing I will tell you: don’t take Tay too seriously. She’s only looking out for us, but deep down, she knows they’d never turn on; they’re just not those kinds of people.” he patted his shoulder and walked away.

Chilled stood watching him walk away, biting his tongue, not this time. I won’t let it keep happening; why does it keep happening anyway?

“What do you mean you don’t trust me? What have I done to you?”

Baby Levi would follow big brother Mammon around like his life depended on it, holding onto whatever part of Mams he could reach--his shirt-tails, his hand, his wings...

Baby Satan was a Biter and a Chewer-- nothing was safe from his awful little demon babey teeth. They lost so many good chairs to his incessant gnawing (which after some trial and error they realized was because he was frustrated and bored, and after that it was easily remedied with more stimulating activities)

Baby Asmo would whine incessantly if he wasn’t constantly held by Lucifer, or if they were separated for more than the length of a nap time. This meant that Lucifer had a baby play pen in his office for baby Asmo to be in if they weren’t in his lap.

Baby Beel didn’t really start talking until much later (age 2 or 3) because Belphie would always communicate things for the both of them. He had a really hard to break habit of putting the second knuckles of his index fingers in his mouth so his baby hands were always a little covered in spit

Baby Belphie’s first words were “What’s that?” accompanied by him pointing at literally everything he could see & make out. This was a long running game for him until he was about 4 years old.

but i wanna add, he only thinks it’s a secret. everyone in the house knows, in part bc he’s so unsubtle about it but mostly bc Beel makes it a point to take pics of him cuddled up with a mountain of blankets and pillows and he finds it so cute he just has to share with the others.

it’s an unspoken rule that no one mentions it to Belphie tho.

Well, it went a little like this...

So I traversed down beneath the castle where my father has been sleeping since shortly after my ascension as crown prince. I was fully prepared for the worst, what I needed to do in order to secure the peace we've been growing and all the bounds we've made in terms of the exchange program and relations with the other realms, so I went to wake him, right? I expect the worse.

He grumbled at me. It took... several tries to wake him. He kept swatting at me and telling me to come back later and that he "wasn't ready yet." I persisted and eventually awoke him.

Keep in mind he was fully transformed into his base self, very large, very intimidating. I was prepared in my main demon form for a fight if necessary and he just... looked at me and said "Oh, it's you."

I eventually got across to him why I had awoken him and what I wanted.

He didn't even bat an eyelash. He just yawned and began going through a series of stretches, complaining about his bones and his aches and asking me how long it's been. No comment, no argument, no fight, just an "Oh, alright. Is your mother still around?"

It took two hours for us to establish that yes, there had been changes. Yes, I was prepared to take the throne. Yes, I was asking for him to abdicate. Yes, I had a wedding planned and wanted to sort this out very soon. Yes, mother is still alive. Yes, Beleth is still alive. Yes, yes, yes... And that was it.

He's taken up a wing in the palace, telling me that he'll get someone to move his things out of the main bedchambers. I just--

I don't know what I expected.
