for octavia: hero, fans, and development!

Hi!! Thank you for the ask! I’m gonna try to be less wordy because tumblr keeps eating my paragraphs lol

Hero: What is their favourite thing about G? Why is your MC such a big fan?

Probably their lyricism. Octavia is a very wordy person lol. They would most admire someone who has a lot of poetic, witty songs that can be interpreted multiple ways. Also G’s versatility. I personally like songs that feel like multiple songs in one and I think they would too. Or artists who are just capable of a wide range of sounds and styles which G canonically is.

Overall, it’s just that G is original and unpredictable. After meeting G in person, ngl I think they’re about what Octavia expected. Nobody’s perfect and G is a rock star so it seems pretty accurate that they would be Like That.

Fans: How is their relationship with their fans? Do they go out of their way to interact?

Octavia loves their fans and interacting with them. Anyone who likes their music Octavia feels on some level understands them and may or may not feel the same as them. Their songs are usually deeply personal so Octavia really is putting a lot of themself out there when they perform.

Their music is not very “family friendly” but as a former hardcore music fan in my teens that hardly matters. Teens make up a lot of demographics anyway especially like sad ones lmao. So the fan aspect and the “influencing the young” part of fame are aspects she takes very seriously.

And as cliche as it sounds it’s still true that without fans Octavia wouldn’t have any sort of career. I imagine at the height of their career in the future they’ll go out of their way to do things for them. Buy food for people waiting in queue for their concerts, pay off college debt, etc.

Development: How did you come up with your character? Is their design still evolving? How do you think they might develop through the story?

I LOVE this question!! OK SO!! I kind of try to build my MCs into the narrative? Basically, I try to make a character that would be the most interesting (have the most issues lmaooo) to me. It’s hard to some up all the factors i take into consideration when making them because in my head it’s so complicated.

Step one is always pick a name lol. It’s honestly probably the hardest part for me. Finding a name that feels right and fits the setting is really important to me and after that comes everything else. Their actually personality is dependent on the personality of the characters they’re surrounded by based on that I decide how outgoing or introverted or well adjusted lol they are. Because that controls the dynamic between the characters.

And then based on their personality I start building the background so they have reasons to be that way. Whether they had supportive parents or any at all. If they were poor or rich etc etc. It helps me shape core character values.

Visually though, I always start with the face! Drawing the face is always my favorite part!! And I try to give them features that either compliment or contradict their personality. For Octavia specifically I wanted them to look kind of soft?? Which is something they actually don’t like—rounded cheeks puppy dog eyes etc.—and this is something she actively tries to offset with make up on stage. Octavia actually thinks they’re kind of plain so that’s why they wear make up at all on stage they don’t think they’re ugly they just don’t think they’re what a rock star is “supposed to look like”.

Next I go for palette which is also one of my favorite parts!! I always knew they were gonna be bipoc because *I am* and I would’ve killed for a lead of a alt/rock/punk whatever band that looked like them when I was a kid. Bipoc are incredibly underrepresented in that particular music scene so lol yeah. And I actually went back and forth on their hair color a lot but red just idk popped the best.

Are they still evolving visually? yes but mostly in the fashion department lol. I still have a lot of experimentation to cover; and narratively I think her development will go into a more hopeful place lol. But not until after a lot of angst. I’m a sucker for a happy ending so i’m gonna do my best to give them one bUT character building comes with suffering first so fksjdj but I mostly develop the character into what I think is the most interesting path? So, ngl it really just depends on what is thrown at them. If it makes sense for them to spiral out/things to go wrong and there’s a sequel with a change to fix it I might let them spiral out lol but overall I like happy ends after a good amount of trial so most likely Octavia will develop into a better version of themself lol

what i wanted to happen at the coronation concert

so last night i went to the coronations concert, and it was a vibe, great fun, but there was one thing that was lacking.

throughout the evening, different parts of his majesties interests where displayed, in a rather cringy way ngl, but acting was there w/ an appearance from our lord and saviour ncuti gatwa.

i did however kind of want the acting part to include the cast of the crown- yknow to appreciate the kings life when he was younger, and i was thinking, what scene would they recreate and i thought 'what is the most iconic prince charles scene from the crown.'

As a senior BTS fan and Jikook supporter from the United States, I have always found the k-pop culture of dating being a scandal, utterly ridiculous. I also never understood the use of what many describe as queer-baiting being a part of fanservice as a marketing strategy of k-pop companies. This whole situation with Karina being outed for dating by Dispatch and then being forced by her company to apologize to the fans is crazy. This situation has been going on for over a week now and and it is being reported worldwide and covered by international media outlets such as CNN and the BBC. There are full details in the posted video. I have also copied and pasted a comment that was copied and posted in this video.

I guess why I found this video so interesting is because our BTS members are unable to date publicy even though they are close to or in their 30s. Ages where they should be dating, in relationships, getting married and having children, if they sho desire. In my opinion, adult idols should have the right to date, privately or publicly without public backlash for living their lives, just like us. Being an artist on the road all the time is lonely enough. So, fans should be able to control artists because they support them by buying their music and going to concerts? I agree with the comments below that it is not just the fans fault, not just the artist fault, but the way the industry treats the idols, how they sell the idols to the public and what they force the idols to do. This culture will not change until the companies change this marketing strategy. Then, when these artists enter into personal relationships, they should be supported.

Yeah, I also think after this Karina scandal, people might start to open their eyes about K-Pop, especially teenagers who have just become fans.

I like that you don't judge those fans, because what I feel towards them is actually just sad, like what I feel towards Karina. And I hope people won't judge them too harshly.

Because this is not about individuals but about "K-Pop" itself. In situations like this, people can't just see it from one side, and it's wrong if people say that disappointed and sad fans are crazy, insane, and delusional. Judging them like they forgot that their idol is also human. But I hope people also don't forget that those fans are human too.

Maybe some of them are excessive, but those are their feelings. It's real, they're hurt, they're disappointed, and they're allowed to feel that, it's normal. Because they're human, and not because they forgot that their idol is also just a regular human. (Btw this is only for toxic fans because things like this happen, not for fans who are toxic all the time hating/insulting anyone and anything other than their favorite idol. Ngl, I also don't know what kind of creatures they are.

If we look closely and understand 'K-Pop', we'll see that the mental health of idols and fans is both at stake. Most K-Pop fandoms are not just toxic about things like this but about small, nonsensical things.

I'm thinking about all your words and not hoping for anything other than good things. But big hopes like no toxic fans, or supporting each other healthily, understanding each other's feelings and mental state, treating each other like regular humans, those things in K-Pop for me are like hoping to get rich just by sleeping 🥹

Unless the K-Pop industry has to erase all the history they've created or has to stop making fanservice its culture. Like... Seriously, if they want fans to stop crossing boundaries or understand, agencies and idols themselves also shouldn't forget that the fans they'll attract with the fanservice they'll use are also humans. Who have different ways of thinking, different hearts, and different mental states. Especially if those fans are still underage.

K-Pop is growing and known in various countries, yes, K-Pop is growing but the way they attract fans hasn't changed at all. But if there are fans like this, everyone will blame them. People are wrong if that happens and only blame fans because they exist also because they were created by K-Pop itself.

K-Pop itself creates and embeds toxicity in people's minds without them realizing it through fanservice that doesn't even feel like fanservice. Like double standards, aesthetic slavery, objectification, gender stereotypes, shippers culture, and the worst of all is involving LGBTQ+ representation that is too forced. I really hate it but what I feel is never listened to even though I've said it many times.

Fanservice pretending or portraying themselves as gay on stage or in front of the camera is very insulting, demeaning, and harmful to the LGBTQ+ community. They use it only for their fans' misguided fantasies. But even gay people in this world still experience discrimination and are insulted to the point of absurdity.

LGBTQ+ is not something trivial and easy to attract fans or profit. It's also not something that can be used just to make fans go crazy, or to please the disgusting fantasies of K-Pop fans. Idols who do that and the fans who are "pleased" by it, even their opinions on LGBTQ+ should still be questioned.

Because here in my country, many K-Pop fans really hate gay people. Look at how ironic that is. They're so excited and enthusiastic when they see two idols of the same gender looking like romantic partners, but they hate it so much, calling it, mentally ill, needing God's help, sinful future inhabitants of the deepest hell, or even openly disgusted when they see it in people around them.

And of course, if someone like me gets angry about this, I'll be the one who gets insulted and cursed at by their fans.

K-Pop hypocrisy has spread to almost all K-Pop fans and they still don't realize it. And it's really sad.

So like I said, if the K-Pop world wants to change, then K-Pop itself has to change it, no

questioning the humanity of fans. The victims here are not only idols who are forced to do all that and all fans who are consumed by it.

But I heard all idols know about shippers and some of them do it intentionally just to "please their fans." So, yeah idk anymore. I just wish, yes this is a wish... I wish people could see it from between the idol and fans...just like me. You know... Not defending idols and not defending fans or not blaming both sides.

Because it seems that only in that way, everyone can collectively ask all K-Pop agencies to change their ways because even without using LGBTQ+ in it, their fanservice is already very toxic for idols and fans.

Hmm. I'd say Ten Lives (The One Worth Living) but I think I might be biased and just want to talk about my Johnny, Kitty, and Shadow ideas more. I like them a Very Normal Amount I prommy.

🎀-give yourself a compliment about your own writing

There's a post that I've seen plenty times before that I think about all the time that goes something along the lines of "I'm having creative ideas above my skill level!" or something like that, for when you have a great idea but just don't know how to execute it the way you want. I legitimately feel where I am at a point where that isn't an issue for me with my writing? I think most ideas I can execute within the general sphere of what I want them to be; I might not always like them, and they might not always be what I consider "good," but they are comparable to the original idea.

🎈-describe your style as a writer; is it fixed? does it change?

It tends to change based on the type of thing I'm writing. And how much sleep I get. I like a lot of shorter sentences, followed by one long rambling one for most kinds of prose, since most of my prose is an ooo ouch my bones type of prose. It does change all the time though, so that might be different in a few months. It certainly wasn't what I preferred until like, August.

💞-what's the most important part of a story for you? the plot, the characters, the worldbuilding, the technical stuff (grammar etc), the figurative language

hm. augh. mm. thats a toughy! I'm going to say worldbuilding, because I often find myself more interested in the worldbuilding that the Actual Story I'm Trying To Write (its why a 30k first draft of a novel is fitting, completely unfinished, in my google drive. The current guys suck. I want the old ones. But the old ones only work as history for the new guys. Its sad.)

💥-find your least kudos'd fic - say something wonderful about it.

I'm ngl I completely thought it was gun safe but First Concert! It's a pretty short one, but it does what I sought out to accomplish; combine Dora and Ember's interests in a way that illustrates their differences but also shows that they're much more similar than you'd think.

🎙️-which one of your fics would you like someone to make a pod-fic of?

I have literally never put thought into that ever. If I had to choose, probably All In The Name Of Love or Strength of the Past And Weights of The Present, mostly because they're my favorites.

Chapter 2 Of Cover Blown: I love pitch pearl man, I really do, and with what I'm planning for this one I think it is going to be about as good as my pitch pearl can get (Dreamwalker excluded dw). I love putting guys in situations, especially when those situations involve bad injuries and babbled confessions.

Speaking of Dreamwalker, I'll add this here too, because while you might know a lot, I always have more. I love how I'm writing the ghosts, just across the board. They are all pieces of shit in the Funniest Way, especially since Danny is a whole ass child right now. You're scheming about a nine year old babes, calm down. He hasn't even lost all his baby teeth yet.

As for the last one, I'm going to put it under a read more. TW for bugs and Danny rotting, but its ok he's fine with it.

Bug Boi (title to be changed later) has been shelved indefinitely for. Many reasons! I have. So much to write. Bug Boi is, for those who do not know. Where I put as many bugs into the boy as possible. He loses organ privileges and instead becomes the landlord for a hoard of different bugs. He loves them, and they love him, and when they die (as bugs often do) they give him their little bug souls as a thank you so he because More Bug.

Anyway, I recently learned about the scorpion fly, who looks like this:

It is so cool, and has recently (idk how recently) been seen in forensic entomology, meaning that I can put these fuckers into Danny's eye sockets or esophagus or wherever else and be. Not technically wrong!! I have no idea if Bug Boi will ever be taken off of my list of to be written, but if nothing else it gives for me a place to put bugs.

Random NHIE season 3 scenarios that I want.

-The overarching storyline needs to be the SATs! We can’t have 3 seasons of them being in sophomore year.

-Devi and Ben’s rivalry is at an all time high, this is the final showdown (before valedictorian ofc). They compete over who knows the most SAT vocab words in the hallway and who knows the most obscure chemistry facts.

-Devi, Ben, Fabiola, Eleanor and Aneesa form their own study group. I think it’ll be a great way to group all the characters together and have them reflect on whatever is currently going on in their lives in a place without all their other peers. Paxton and Trent could drop by occasionally.

-Paxton applying to colleges. It would be interesting if he decides to so something on the more manual side, like being a car mechanic or a carpenter. Or maybe he gets a storyline where he realizes how much he loves restoring old cars and decides that he would like his own car repair shop.

-Paxton having the opposite of senioritis because he has to raise his GPA.

-Paxton, Ben, Eleanor and Fabiola having a friendship.

-Paxton and Aneesa having a friendship. Maybe they could have a conversation about how much they struggled not being able to play/do their respective sports. Aneesa bc she probably had to take time off when her eating disorder got really bad and Paxton bc of his broken arm. Maybe Aneesa encourages Paxton to swim again since he’s afraid that he won’t be as good as before.

-I want Fabiola and Eve to break up. The fact that Fabiola had to compromise her individuality to impress Eve’s friends is just sad and Eve just enabled it. Fabiola deserves better.

-I want Fabiola to have a new love interest. Maybe a new girl joins her robotics team and Fabiola is in awe of her skills and crazy intimidated but then they bond, become best friends and fall in love.

-Or Fabiola and Eleanor fall in love. I’ve seen other creators on tumblr post about some subtle moments between them that makes me go👀👀 . So I’m all for it. Plus I would love for the show to have a bi character and Eleanor gives me bi vibes.

-Ben and Devi end up tying for the highest score in the SATs or Fabiola gets the highest score and Ben and Devi tie for 2nd place.

-We need to see Devi learn how to drive! We need a scene of Nalini teaching Devi how to drive! During their first lesson, they would argue while driving, thus letting Devi hit a garbage can, that splatters trash all over the road. After this, Nalini decides to give up teaching Devi how to drive.

-So Devi asks/bribes Ben to teach her how to drive. They argue about whether Devi is going too fast or how swift their turns are but eventually Devi becomes more controlled on the road and this experience becomes really fun, in fact it may be the best part of the day for them (neither of them would admit that tho). Sometimes after a driving lesson, they’d stop for ice-cream and talk about deep shit that they wouldn’t tell anyone else.

-Devi passes her driving test for the first time and Devi thanks Ben but Paxton is like, “What why didn’t you ask me to teach you?” And Devi cannot give him an answer because she doesn’t know why she instinctively went to Ben first and didn’t even consider asking Paxton and Paxton leaves upset. They don’t break up that point but this is one of the little seedlings that plants their break-up. Like Devi didn’t know that Paxton started swimming again. Neither of them go to each other when they’re in trouble or facing an emotional dilemma, in fact neither of them even know/notice when the other is in an emotional dilemma. I wouldn’t be surprised they use Oaxton graduating as an excuse to break up and they break up amicably at Prom. It’ll be a full-circle moment.

-We also need an ep of Paxton graduating.

-We also need a POV ep from Aneesa/Fabiola/Eleanor.

-I really want a bottle episode, like whodunnit themed.

- Or even a treasure hunt episode, where everyone in the school goes crazy looking for the list of items for the treasure hunt as the winner gets Lady Gaga concert tickets or smth like that.

- Devi, Nirmala, Kamala and Nalini bonding pls.

-Nalini to thrive.

- Devi going to therapy.

-Nalini and Devi going to therapy together, then Nalini starts going on her own as well.

-More Mohan flashbacks.

-Kamala x Mr Kulkarni. Let’s gooo!

-But break up with Prashant first.

-More Mr Kulkarni! Ngl the English assignments are way cooler than the history ones and Mr Kulkarni isn’t a try-hard.

-Mr Kulkarni tells Mr Shapiro to shut the fuck up. Please and thank you.

-Mr Shapiro gets fired because he gives his students edibles or smth because one student told him about a study that says students learn better while high. His fake-woke ass falls for it.

-Aneesa and Ben break up.

Japan Package

Yeah, another off topic post... I don’t really have anywhere else to put this, though! Maybe you guys can learn more about me. =:3

I’ve always been a collector, especially of things from Japan... COVID has basically killed that for me with EMS taking almost 2 years to return and the skyrocketing prices of goods and shipping. So, with that said, this will be my last big collection post for a very, very long time [in regards to Japanese merch, I am still collecting FNAF!]

Anyone whose read my blog knows I’ve been hyped for Legend of Mana HD Remaster... and I nabbed a few things last minute when it was announced:

A large rabbite plush! This kinda goes with my collection of yellow bunnies, so I splurged since it served more than one interest for me.

Elazul and Pearl from the Square Millennium Collection.I already had these at one point but lost Pearl along the way, so I replaced them.

Some Legend of Mana trading cards (they’re sealed) and Pokemon Gold playing card deck. This will Segway me into my Gold/HeartGold stuff...

Moo-moo milks! The top one holds cold/hot drinks and the bottom one is a metal thermos.

Lyra and co. I waited so long to complete my set for Johto... she was a pretty penny unfortunately.

A bunch of various Gold related items. I don’t know much about them. A keychain, a small toy, and a postcard book. I should probably mention I got these items before the Pokemon Scalping Craze of 2021 took effect...

Pokemon Stadium 2 CIB, Pokemon Gold CIB, some kind of physical Pokemon Heartgold thing (I believe it’s just the download card. I know it isn’t the normal game.) and finally, one of my grails-- a lightly used Johto Gameboy Color w/a cartidge of Gold.

Pokemon Johto themed Pokeballs! This was a premium Bandai exclusive. I got it for the GS ball, NGL. While taking photos, my wife noticed that all of them open... except the GS ball of course! I did get this used so it was missing the dispenser parts and candy, but I didn’t care. I have the stands and belt attatchments--so looking forward to having these when I eventually cosplay Gold/Hibiki/Ethan.

Another grail. I already had the Gold Pokedex and Pokegear. I decided to get the HeartGold Pokedex/Gear. I haven’t tried it out yet!

Since Pokemon relates to Digimon, I’ll post the tiny amount of items I got. I no longer actively collect in this community outside a few unique items that I may want, so this is the end of my Digimon collection for the most part.

Not much to say regarding these. I had an atrocious time getting the shot glass the first time around, so I finally buckled and got it via a proper proxy. Weregarurumon, although a plush I don’t particularly like, was one of the last I needed to complete the line of plushes for the Gabumon line.

I’ve been after the Tsukuda Hobby Misato Vinyl figure for years. I finally snagged her. I’ve always loved this line, but sold most of it a long time ago. I don’t really have a huge collection for Misato, but she was always my favorite and I like this piece to represent her in my collectibles.

Jack from Radiata Stories. This was to complete my Star Ocean Trading Arts set. I also got the remainder of the Valkyrie Profile Trading Arts I was missing, but I didn’t picture them because they were thoroughly wrapped and I don’t want to lose pieces when I move.

My MAIN collection is Star Ocean: the Second Story (and all of it’s iterations). If I ever make an exception to my no major packages importing rule, this would be why. An Amanesis keychain, a calendar and a small pocket book.

Okay, maybe I lied... my MAIN collection is Aerith Gainsborough... I love and adore her; always have!

Aerith photo cards! I guess they were from Skytree? I don’t remember... Also some cards for Star Ocean EX, Pokemon Gold / Silver, and Ayumi Hamasaki.

More Skytree items! These are edible. One is a bottle with hard sugar candy and the others are various suckers w/edible flowers!

It took all I had not to cry when opening the music box... lol

Lastly... I was going through some bad times last October and I really rediscovered my love for Ayumi Hamasaki circa 1999-2001. I really wanted to embrace it and went a little nuts =:p If you haven’t heard her work, I highly recommend it. In fact I think A*BEST is probably my second favorite music album of all time. It’s in my top 3 for sure!

A photobook. Some CDs! Remember how much I love A*BEST? I got the anniversary edition. Included a book, CD/DVD/BluRay combo, a shirt, and a special collectors box. AyuMiX and M~ were replacements because mine are worse for wear nowadays. LoveAPPEARS and the blue CD are new. The blue CD is actually a release BEFORE Ayumi Hamasaki’s first single--it’s pretty rare! I’m excited to hear it!

A keychain, flipflops, and a stationary type set w/a binder, clear file, stickers, ect.

An uncommon Ayu-pan! She is proportional.. as opposed to the chibi design they normally have. And a mousepad! Sold at one of her early concerts!

Vinyl records of her singles: M~ and Endless Sorrow.

A CD single style keychain and a card for Endless Sorrow rounds out the lot.

It’s been an adventure... and I’m really sad to see it end until things settle down again, IF they do...

I wanted to say I have almost all the non essentials packed for my move, so I may be able to post some actual FNAF content in a week or so! =:3 Thank you for checking out the fun with me!

His fashion sense is mwah chef’s kiss. He owns airport fashion. The best street wear around and he rocks his baggy fits to stylish red carpets.

Speaking of you, he also is super thankful to you and shows it often it’s so wholesome and cute.

Times where he would flirt, it would be funny attempts that normally end with you giggling at his flushed demeanor after messing up his pick-up lines.

You always get super flustered when you confront him about it and he just chuckles and head pats you.

Sugawara

The sweetheart of the group.

Absolutely UNDERRATED.

Back-up/sub vocals but has the preeeettiest tenor voice ever.

Like could sing you to sleep.

He has his own soundcloud where he uploads his own covers and he sings like Justin Bieber songs, some Bruno Mars, just any romance songs.

Twitter is HIS platform he would post small snippets of him singing and some effortlessly beautiful selcas.

Being his manager, he is super duper sweet towards you. Kinda like Daichi but he is way more flirty.

Can be super sly with his compliments. And lowkey a huuuge tease he will leave you all flustered and all he’ll do is bat his eyelashes innocently smhh

Suga will do all this but since he’s super sneaky abt it, no one will notice so he won’t get caught in that scandal ykk

But, I can see him disguising himself in some silly sunglasses and a hat when going on secret dates with you.

And you’ll giggle while trying to pull the frames off his pretty face and he’ll whine and playfully snatch at your wrists awwwh

Kuroo

Very very popular among his fans.

Once again we got another leader here.

He is for sure the main dancer and is a back-up/sub vocalist but he probably raps a few verses in a couple of select songs.

His signature is giving cheesy pep talks that hype up the group before performances.

It’s pretty cool but once you hear his words it’s cliche and you can’t help but giggle every time you witness it.

Speaking of you, he has a huge thing for yah

Like he probably makes it painfully obvious, but only in front of the members and staff. No fans nor paparazzi, he has a reputation to uphold of course.

But that doesn’t stop secret make-out sessions in his dressing room.

Sometimes he’ll just pull you in, pin you against the door and just stare into your eyes with so much passion before sealing your lips with his.

When eating with the group, he’ll casually wrap an arm over your shoulder while teasing you playfully in front of everyone.

Other times he’ll rest his hand on your thigh underneath the table wink wink.

Kenma

Shy small boi of the group

**Most presume him to be shy at first but he will actually roast tf out of his fellow members. Yk those ICONIC moments.

Main rapper, Kenma’s got bars and he can lowkey ruin someone’s career with a single diss track 😳 (he can sing too, has a pretty voice but denies it so he avoids singing most of the time).

MMM his fashion sense as well YES. Like have you seen those fanarts of Kenma rocking streetwear, yeah he would wear exactly that at the airport or somethin.

Ofc a huge gamer, he will most likely be seen on his switch backstage, during breaks, on the plane, during vlogs, etc.

Being his manager, Kenma finds you very endearing and he’s always blushing and nervous around you.

He hides his face behind his switch when he asks something from you awwwh

He won’t mention you in interviews but when he is asked he will just be like “yeah.. i guess she’s pretty cool” with a light pink dusting his cheeks.

Kenma probably wouldn’t have the courage to initiate a relationship in fear of ruining a lot of things. But if it were to happen y’all are super lowkey and good at hiding it.

Yet overall, very wholesome. If a member were to walk into his dressing room unannounced they would see the sight of Kenma laying his head in your lap and playing his games while you play with his hair.

It’s super cute until Kenma throws some inanimate object at the poor fellow :,(

Oikawa

OH the most fitting character as an idol and for sure the most famous out of everyone.

Main vocalist hands down (ponyo ponyooo-)

Oikawa is always and I mean always bombarded with the press and fangirls anywhere he goes.

It seems like the only time he has alone time is when he’s in his dressing room with the doors locked and he only allows you inside.

You two naturally got closer, you were the least annoying thing in his life so he felt comfortable around you and he found it fun to tease you every now and then.

One thing led to another and uhhhh

Definitely some dressing room sex involved with Tooru

You always scold Oikawa for giving you hickeys in very noticeable spots on purpose and he just waves it off while sticking his tongue at yah.

After awhile you probably have sleepovers with him because you both enjoy each others presence so much.

His schedule is always jammed pack so you tend to have to overwork in order to keep up and make sure everything runs smoothly.

So late at night when you’re organizing events for the next month after doing plentiful work, Oikawa will come up from behind and scoop you up in his arms carrying you to bed. He’ll cuddle you to sleep while whispering how you’re the best manager in the world.

oh boy this is gonna be long *cracks knuckles* here we go

SO FUN BACKSTORY BEFORE I GET TO THE PLOT PARTS TJXJJS: my sunday school has a tradition of um holding productions of christmas musicals every december. My teachers would find american christian christmas kiddy musicals productions on youtube and then basically um translate all the dialogue to Filipino (the songs stay in English) and have us um reenact the whole thing and ngl it was a lot of fun! I even acted as some of the main roles there when I was like 10-13 so um I can kinda say that I have some experience with musical theatre YAYYY (jk jk that doesn't really count djsff).

When I was around 12-13 years old, I became obsessed with A Very Potter Musical and wondered what it would be like to make AVPM but Christmas so that my church could perform it (very silly idea but shh i was 12 and I was obsessed) and then over time a plot that Was Definitely Not Harry Potter started to form and them um here we are fjsjd so thank you Starkid for making me go down this hellhole

Oki backstory over, now here comes the very long part:

(Also um warning this musical concept involves a lot of religion talk since majority of the thingy is me criticizing a lot of the hypocrisies in religious institutions here based on my experience so um yea proceed with caution if ur sensitive to religion-related stuff)

p.s. ari i am so so sorry but this is so fucking long and definitely more than what you asked for so um yea goodluck fjxjsjf

SO BASICALLY Misfits is about 5 "narrators" - these guys serve as the "floor directors" of the show and um yea they make sure that the plot actuall happens and everything goes exactly according to the script given by the church higher ups or "producers" - who have to bring 3 teens branded by their church as "Misfits" back to Bethlehem 1 CE in order to "teach them a lesson about God" aka convert them to Christianity thus removing the "Misfits" branding. (Also they can only go back once they successfully arrive at the manger because um that's how the producers want it to be tjxjs)

I have to emphasize that although this tackles a lot of stuff related to Christianity and religion as a whole, this really isn't a Christian Musical and that this very morally questionable mission (through the power of Stage Magic and Super Powers, the Narrators essentially bring the Misfits back to the past against their will for the sake of completing their mission) goes horribly, horribly wrong very very quickly.

Throughout the course of the musical, the 5 Narrators struggle to stick to the given script and get their mission done as the 3 Misfits prove to not only be very freaking stubborn but also quite insightful as well as they bring up really good points in regards to religious hypocrisies and socially questionable, prejudiced and backward views commonly held by most religious institutions here i.e gender roles, homophobia, the demonization of science and technology at times, elitism and classism, etc etc (i can only speak in behalf of the Philippines so um yea Philippines). Overall, this is kinda a case study on as to how religion can influence and shape people's mindsets for either the better or the worse and how it is often used by the authorities to simultaneously give hope to the people (especially those of the poorer sectors wherein because of how hopeless the present seems here because a very flawed system kept in place by the exploitative privilged here, they choose to just trust in God instead and also hope that the afterlife is much much better than this shit) while also keeping them in line and like preventing them from rioting. (Church and politics undeniably go hand in hand here even though we have legislations enforcing the separation of the church and state and um yEA THIS WHOLE THING HAS BEEN VERY PROMINENT THROUGHOUT PHILIPPINE HISTORY AND WE CAN ALL THANK THE SPANIARDS but um anyways that'll be a rant for another day)

On a more personal and emotional aspect, this thingy also tackles a lot of stuff I find rather common among kids my age, especially those who had a very Christian upbringing (aka 99.9% of the philippine population tjxbdbf). There's a lot of questioning involved in regards to one's faith, sexuality, perspective and purpose in life and all that fun stuff and how oftentimes said questioning is discouraged due to the church (and ph society overall) wanting us to just like um sTICK TO THE STATUS QUOoOoO and just comply with what is seen as appropriate and godly cause anything out of the ordinary is ngl treated like it's heresy. (YES THERE WILL BE A LOT OF SELF PROJECTION HERE)

One final and important thing to note is that the show is essentially a musical-inside-a-musical in a way fjsjf I originally designed this thing to be like um produce-able on my church's stage (because they were supposed to help me produce the first version of misfits which um yea that's def not gonna happen now tjxjdv) which um kinda looks like the OG Spring Awakening Stage (and yes Misfits is very much inspired by Spring Awakening God I love that show) which is why the show is kinda stylized like a concert with handheld mics and all wherein um the 5 narrators are aware that they are putting on a show to the point of even directly addressing the audience a lot while the 3 Misfits (except for 1 which i'll get to in a bit) aren't aware that they are in a show. The three do eventually find that out and that's when all hell breaks loose to the point that the "producers" (represented by Hades-ish voices) have to intervene by literally changing and manipulating the show's setting and plot to make sure that their script gets followed and that's when the characters really try to break the show to get out of it bUT THE POINT I WANNA MAKE HERE IS THXJD keeping in mind that I had initially planned for Misfits to be produced by my church prior to the many drastic changes, the show the narrators were putting on (aka the musical-inside-the-musical) was made with the intention to pander to a Very Religious Audience. Successfully convincing people to convert to Christianity, especially those of the youth, is what many religious audiences want to see and that is exactly what the "producers" have written for the 5 "narrators and floor directors" to enact. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a Christian and preaching the Gospel and bringing in new believers isn't essentially a bad thing; if they want to believe in the religion then woo good for them! But, such preaching becomes detrimental when you take away one's agency and basically force them into Christianity by means of guilt tripping and manipulation which is sadly very much a reality here (again, a rant for another day) and a representation of such is shown here in the show where um the 3 Misfits were basically forced into this show that 5 Narrators are putting on and, through the influence of the 5 Narrators, the 3 Misfits have to decide to become "good Christian youths" for the show to conclude because that's show the "producers" have written. So when the 3 Misfits stubborness goes to the point that even the 5 Narrators start questioning the morals of their mission, that's when the show starts to go off-script and that's when the production starts to like umm "break" and whenever that happens, the "producers" start speaking to the Narrators, reminding them that they have an audience that they need to please and a message that they need to convey.

So while the Misfits (2 of them, at least, cause um the third one has um yea i'll get to him in a bit) mainly focus on figuring out what in the everliving fuck is going on (while also dealing with their um unfortunate circumstances, childhood trauma, a shit ton of guilt and the concept of salvation and self-forgiveness), the Narrators are tasked with the burden of carrying the show and making sure that the audience finds it appealing while trying to convince themselves that what the church wants them to do is "right" and what the Misfits keep telling them is "wrong" ala um Holier-Than-Thou mindset. Once they eventually start becoming more willing to see the true nature of both the Misfits and the Producers despite the fear of disappointing everyone who's watching, that's when the Narrators and Misfits all start breaking the show by going off-script and completely destroying the plot and production that the Producers have made for the audience - thus making a statement of refusing to comply with a flawed system for the sake of audience approval while also making the first step to fixing that system for the good of all.

Also fun fact: Although it'll make my job a lot harder because I am more fluent in English than in Filipino, i wanna write the thingy in both English and Filipino fjxjdf the dialogue can be Taglish but um the songs that are "part of the script" aka what the Producers want the characters to sing are in English while the songs that aren't part of the script are in Filipino; songs that are both in Filipino and in English are um i guess indicative of the struggle to follow the script while also trying to do what you believe is right (an example of a song with that style is Interpretasyon - which means Interpretation and um Ezekiel (one of the Misfits) sings in Filipino while Joshua (leader of the narrators) sings in English and um just imagine Wallflower cuz IT IS VERY MUCH LIKE WALLFLOWER GJDJNF) and um yea i kinda imagine it to be some sort of rock-pop musical concert thingy so um woo thank you pma for once again influencing my work

SO ANYWAYS UM THAT WAS LONG SO LET'S GO TO THE GAY SHIT

Okay so far 4/8 of the characters here have queerness directly related to their individual plotlines here but um yea honestly i'm tempted to make all of them queer CAUSE IT'S FUN oki so um anyways on to the character dynamics (I won't be able to include more in depth descriptions because im hungry and GOD THIS IS LONG so um yea)

June & Anna (Narrator 2) - oki so June here is one of the Misfits and she's from the poorer sectors (i'm still working on her backstory to make it more believable but um yea) and she isn't able to go to school due to having to prioritize providing for her family first. Due to a very unfortunate childhood event (one that involves Zack, another Misfit), she had to grow up fast and now appears to have a rather jaded view of the world. Anna, one of the Narrators, is the very opposite of that - she's privileged and wealthy-as-fuck and seems to be very optimisitc and friendly. However, ever since she has been blackmailed by her own churchmates for merely questioning her sexuality (true story), she became a more reserved and emotionally closed person despite her very friendly and cheerful demeanor. So when she finds out that June's music carries a lot of beautiful insight and hope in spite of her unfortunate circumstances (the two girls bond over music btw that's how Anna got June to trust in her), she becomes confused because how can June, a girl who has nothing, not even faith, still have hope that she'll be able to find some semblance of happiness while Anna, who has everything, has such a downtrodded view of the world? So um basically their dynamic will also consist of Anna checking her privilege, June explaining how good people turn against the world when the world turns against them (YES A LOT OF TALK ABOUT POVERTY AND HOW THAT IS A RESULT OF CAPITALISTIC EXPLOITATION) (yes June will talk about that a lot), and um what it means to hope with or without faith and what it means to trust another and oneself again. Oh and also lots of philosophy talk and emotional expression through music wie

Zack and Mikael (Narrator 3) - Zack, another Misfit, is a childhood friend of June and a younger stepbrother of Ezekiel (the third Misfit). After Zack and June lost contact after the 'unfortunate childhood event' (i am not sure on what exactly it'll be but in the earlier drafts a fire burned both of their homes and killed both of their dads and rn I have a song concept describing that called "Umaapoy" which means "Burns" but i dunno i'm still working on it), he became best friends with Mikael and um yea said best-friendship was Definitely Not Platonic. After a picture of them kissing was sent to not only the school principal but to basically everyone in the school, both of their parents were called to the principal's office which led to both of the boys moving to different schools to um mitigate the damage i guess gjdjd while Zack's mom eventually learned to accept her son's sexuality, Mikael um wasn't so lucky - I'd say he went through um a lot of religious intervention almost akin to conversion therapy which then um yea has caused him a lot of internalized homophobia and um yea Mikael and Zack haven't been able to talk or even chat in about 3-4 years so imagine Mikael's surprise when he found out that his mission involved Zack - who does not and cannot recognize Mikael because welp not part of the script. Zack, a bit braver now, takes a liking to Mikael and wants to at least be friends with him partly because he somehow finds him really familiar while um Mikael tries to maintain a strictly professional demeanor out of fear that Zack will recognize him and out of fear that he'll fall in love with Zack again. Their dynamic will also include um learning to trust one another and oneself again (like June & Anna's dynamic), to learn how to be brave and be sure in one's beliefs (Mikael um doesn't really speak up that much out of fear while Zack is not only outspoken, but is also an activist - this is another one of the many reasons why Zack is branded as a "Misfit" aside from the fact that he's gay and um yea Ezekiel spends almost 2 minutes berating Joshua for this out of pure anger and disgust), and what it means to reconnect with the past and to forgive oneself (although that is much more expounded upon with June & Zack's dynamic).

Ezekiel and Joshua (Narrator 1) - SAY HI TO THE RILEY AND CAIRO DYNAMIC WOOOOOOO but yea ari dude your analysis on Riley and Cairo (and Kate) being the Main MAIN characters and everything about cheerwives gave me a lot of think about and SO I PUT IT IN HERE WOOOOOO so basically um Ezekiel is the older stepbrother of Zack and the first of the 3 Misfits to figure out that they are in a show. He figures this out because he recognizes Joshua aka the leader of the Narrators aka his former churchmate and ex-bestfriend. He also realizes that they are in a show because he recognizes their tricks which he knew about because he had participated in these missions before as one of the Narrators (Joshua and Ezekiel are older than the rest of the cast and the other narrators don't know that Ezekiel was once a Narrator as well). Due to an Unfortunate Incident (that i'm still working on) 3 years prior to the events in the show, Ezekiel cut off all ties to the church but he is still viewed as this "perfect role model golden boy" which is why the 4 Narrators were shocked to find out that Ezekiel was part of their mission. Joshua, knowing that the real reason to his sudden involvement is due to "producers" somehow finding out their secret about the Unfortunate Incident, lied and told the others that he was just included to make converting his brother a lot easier, which they believed. Out of all the narrators, Joshua is the one who tries his best to stick to the script the most because he knows that if he doesn't, the true nature of that Unfortunate Incident will not only be revealed to his companions but to everyone else watching. Meanwhile Ezekiel, who doesn't know that him being involved in this mission is some sort of um penance for his involvement in that Unfortunate Incident, tries his hardest to sabotage he show by being the most outspoken when pointing out a lot of hypocrisies within religious institutions and in ph society in general (he refuses to tell the other two that they are in a show though because if that happens, he knows the Narrators, Joshua especially will um get very heavily scolded by the producers and despite everything, he still cares for Joshua a lot). I'd say that these two are the ones that push the plot the most - one wants to push the show accordingly to plan in order to please the audience and the producers and in order to not let his and Ezekiel's secret go out while the other wants to push the show off-script in retaliation against the producers (and yes the Unfortunate Incident involved the time travelling thingy which is why he really wants to sabotage this). In fact, these two have 2 duets that are basically them trying to convince the other to go along with their plan ("Interpretasyon" which means Interpretation and "Sikreto" which means secret). This dynamic involves um yea trying to convince the other to switch sides gjxjd and um reconciliation, responsibility out of guilt, and what it means to forgive oneself (forgiveness is a common theme here) and to start to heal from trauma and to not deny the existence of said trauma any longer.

q3 2021 update & plot call !!

below the cut, you can find an update on ash’s current life, career (or rather absence of), and development for quarter three, as well as plot and thread ideas! if you see anything that you’d like to plot out or write with him, like this or message me, and we can get to it! i have a lot in mind about where ash is right now, so i might add more and expand later on!

ash is on hiatus the whole quarter so... not much going on here.

uhh basically the first two days of july he was still trying to get bc to let him take a break so schedule threads could be set then if they cross paths at the bc building! he’s going to be participating in concert rehearsals for knight to a less intense extent since bc, as of the beginning of his hiatus, fully intends him to participate in the concerts. he’ll miss about the first half of the tour, but in july and august he’ll still be attending knight tour rehearsals some to keep up. schedule threads can also be done then!

(note that he’ll be missing the bc city concert as well — i don’t see him dropping by just to support either tbh, sorry bc ppl. white knight duo ver tho let’s gooooooooooo)

ash will eventually start writing music and finding his love of that again though and that’s pretty much the most work he can do during his hiatus, so it’d be cool to maybe have him write, compose, or produce for a few people that might be releasing later this year or sometime next year if anyone is interested? :) we can see if ash would work for it. there’s also opening for him to ask a few people he’s close to to sing some demos for him when he starts trying to write again!

personally + plot ideas!

explaining how he got to his hiatus would take me all day but he basically forced bc’s hand in letting him take time off (well, he wanted to leave knight and retire ngl but his manager was like... you know that’s not going to happen let’s try a hiatus <3). you can read my badly-written solos for part of it (i still need to write more) but generally, the most other muses might know is that they might have run into him acting kinda moody/down or impulsive/irresponsible lately, he made a very uncharacteristic post on social media that hinted at being unhappy with his life currently and losing passion/excitement for even the things he used to value most highly before his social media was deactivated by bc lmaaooo. the post would have probably conveyed Something was up it it wasn’t like genuinely super triggering-level content i promise !! bc released a statement shortly after stating he’d be going on hiatus without mentioning a definitive end date.

so there’s the possibility a muse might have checked up on him after that post / the hiatus news to see how he was doing?

tbh ash isn’t going to be seeking out meeting new people during his hiatus. he’s taking time to himself and is only going to make any effort to hang out with people he’s comfortable with. those he’s not close to, he’s going to have to interact with by running into unintentionally.

he’s getting a place in jeju in the early-ish part of his hiatus. he’ll be spending a lot of time there at first because he just wants to get away from seoul, so it’d be nice to set some threads there if your muse has the time to hop over to visit him if they have anything resembling a free day. (again a certain level of closeness would be necessary, but i think one good heart to heart conversation beforehand could bring someone closer to him enough for that rn! even over text tbh lmao). chuseok would be a really good time for this !! i imagine catching up over lowkey dinners or heart to hearts under the stars, that found family ash has actively fought having lol

(that place in jeju is also going to be where he starts to want to write music again too, so music based stuff there would be chill?)

heart to hearts in general anywhere would be really good for ash right now so please give me those! they can be in seoul too for sure.

he’ll be moving into a new apartment in seoul eventually, though that will probably be a little later in his hiatus? he had some bad fan/sasaeng run-ins right before his hiatus and having so much time off makes him realize he wants to move. someone can help him house hunt or if someone else is looking for a place, they can talk together about it. i want him to realize he wants to move into a smaller place that can feel more like home

once he does move, muses are free to come over and help him set up / be his one-man housewarming party. that’s a little down the line tho !! so we might not want to plot that as a thread to write right this instant

he may also be getting a pet ! muses can come look with him at a shelter or he can run into people there!

this would be a little later in his hiatus, but it’d be interesting if once he’s doing a little better, he gets the urge to dance and runs into a muse at the dance studio. idk that he’ll ever fall completely back in love with dancing, but he might rediscover some of what he did love about dancing and ash and this muse often run into each other as he visits that dance studio a little more often and they eventually bond over it / do some dancing together.

those who still really have that passion for making music ash has lost, talk to him about it <3 he misses it. he might cry but tbh he’s liable to cry in any thread

he’s cutting his hair short and dying it back to black this month, so it would be possible to run into him at the hair salon!

ash will want to be inside at home mostly at the beginning of his hiatus, but as it goes on, he’ll start to branch out and that will offer some more opportunities to hang out. he’ll try not to go to bars and clubs really, but small music venues or jazz lounges, small indie cinemas, galleries, those kind of things will be up his alley

idk that there’s much plotting to be had around this, but this long hiatus on top of the other hiatuses he’s had and his acting out before this hiatus is going to make some of the bc team realize it might not be super wise to keep pushing him hard as a cf model (and in the long run, just less of pushing him as a major idol star within the company in general tbh) so he’ll be able to get some more tattoos and piercings and will become more comfortable, hopefully, with presenting himself how he wants to be seen / having some development in that good ol’ lack of bodily autonomy aspect ash has always had going on. he’ll be coming out of hiatus living much more of his 2021 jk fc truth with the full sleeve and the eyebrow piercing .

uhhh ? pretty far down the line but i’ll mention it while it’s on my mind :) i think it’d be cool if ash did a collab (mini-)album (or two?) at some point after getting off hiatus. i’d want it to be someone he really clicks with creatively (though they don’t have to be a songwriter — i can see it working as collaborative songwriting or as ash feeling really inspired to write for them) and wants to work with since it’s not going to be something he’s letting bc push him into it at that point, and something that just happens organically. realistically, this would work with a female vocal best by far, maybe a male rapper just based on the songs ash does / i can see him doing. probably wouldn’t want to commit to anything fully rn unless it really clicks but i wanted to throw the idea out there :)

uhmmm?? ig i should also mention ash will be paying attention to his health both mental and physical he’s been neglecting for a while. there isn’t too much to say regarding plotting here because he needs to handle it himself with trying new therapy, medications, understanding there’s some stuff beyond “just” his depression going on. coming to accept nothing’s ever going to be perfect, but that self-awareness and effort can help more than denial can. not super plot potential-y but i’ll mention it since this is all the personal update section

basically, ash is taking time to recover mentally (and physically) and ultimately hopefully leave hiatus in a better place than he started where he can be more comfortable in his career, even if just a little bit, in himself, and in his life. if he can have some good, developing threads during the time, that’d be great!

a/n: ahhhh, I kinda hate this one ngl, but I hope you all enjoy anyways! I hope to be releasing an Irene and then a Seulgi fic in the following weeks :D

Son Seungwan has always loved you, ever since the moment she laid eyes on you eight months ago, she knew her world would become all about you, and indeed it has. Every free second she has, her thoughts only ever seem to be about you. How she loves the way your body fits so perfectly with hers or your uncanny ability to always know just the thing to say to make the older girl smile even on her worst days. To Seungwan, you are the very definition of perfect.

But lately, Wendy has been worrying that you don’t quite know how much she truly loves you, and maybe you’re beginning to lose interest in her. Don’t get her wrong though, it’s not because of anything you’re outwardly doing, in fact, you’re so perfect that it’s as Yerim puts it “devastating and sickening”. It’s just that sometimes Seungwan feels like a burden. It’s not exactly easy dating her, something she especially realizes whenever she goes on tour, leaving you alone in your Seoul apartment. Or the times when she returns to her dorm at one in the morning after staying late at the practice rooms to perfect her part, only to find you waiting sleepily in the kitchen with a soft smile, a gesture that is always oh so sweet of you but also makes Seungwan feel endlessly guilty.

Her life as an idol has always made it hard to spend time with you, but whenever she can find that moment, she always makes sure to spoil you, taking you to lavish restaurants and buying you expensive gifts, because after all money isn’t really a problem for Seungwan. But despite this, Wendy still feels like she’s not quite doing enough, and that maybe you think she’s just trying to buy your affection when the reality is she’s simply worried that doing mundane things together like watching a movie or baking cookies will make you think she’s boring and want to leave her.

You could do better, Seungwan believes, and you probably know that too. Which is why she finds herself sitting alone in the darkness of her Fukuoka hotel room, mindlessly singing along to her current favorite song, her members having left over an hour ago for a post-performance dinner that Wendy had politely declined. Seungwan had, of course, considered calling you, but eventually decided against it, knowing you probably have some form of work to do tonight and you’d most likely be better off without her distracting you. So instead she opted to lay down and plug in her earbuds, drowning herself in her favorite album, that, as usual, reminds her of you, and thus leading her down the rabbit hole of insecurities where she currently resides.

She is so lost in her music and thoughts in fact, that she doesn’t quite hear the electronic click of the lock as her group leader, Joohyun, lets herself into the hotel room, and it isn’t until the older girl flicks the lights on causing Wendy to jump, that Seungwan realizes she’s no longer alone.

“I figured you’d be hungry,” Irene says as she kicks off her shoes, holding up a bag of takeout and a pair of disposable chopsticks before gently setting it on the kitchen counter. “It’s spicy noodles.”

Wendy only smiles gratefully in response, truthfully feeling a little too anxious to eat, but still, she mumbles thanks to Joohyun, secretly touched by her leader’s thoughtfulness. And as Seungwan moves over slightly, feeling Joohyun sit down beside her, she can’t help but think to herself that you’d be much better off with someone like Joohyun.

For a moment, the two sit in comfortable silence, Joohyun watching Wendy with furrowed brows, seemingly getting a read for the younger girl’s current state.

“Seungwan,” Irene says slowly, rubbing her neck and looking at Wendy with a sort of worried smile. “Do you want to talk?”

Honestly, Wendy isn’t really all too surprised by Joohyun’s offer, she herself knows she’s been off all day, especially during their concert, where the blonde was much more reserved than usual, something her sometimes too perceptive leader was bound to notice.

And perhaps, Seungwan thinks to herself, she should talk about what she’s feeling because it wouldn’t hurt to do so, and besides, it wasn’t like it could go any worse than the last time when she made the mistake of going to Sooyoung about it, only to be promptly slapped upside the head and called an “overthinking pompous idiot”.

So Wendy somewhat hesitantly tells Joohyun everything, and maybe Irene rolls her eyes when Seungwan isn’t looking because even the slightest mention of you not loving Wendy anymore makes Joohyun want to laugh aloud at her younger friends obliviousness. It is impossible, Irene thinks, that Seungwan has never once noticed the way you look at her with so much adoration as if Wendy herself personally hung every star in the night sky. But instead, like Sooyoung, Irene settles on calling Seungwan an idiot.

“Really Joohyun?” Wendy groans burying her head in her pillow. “I spill my heart out and that’s all you have to say?”

“I’m sorry,” Irene says with a laugh, placing her hand in Seungwan’s shoulder. “But there is just no way that girl doesn’t love you, she literally looks at you as if you’re an angel sent from above. Hell, just the other day she told Seulgi she wanted to marry you!”

Seungwan’s eyes widen. She’s at a loss for words. “Really?”

Joohyun chuckles, shaking her head in an exasperated way. “Yes, really. Y/n loves you, Wendy, so much, but if you’re worried she doesn’t know that you love her, then just tell her.”

Seungwan nods, suddenly hugging the older girl. “I will. Thank you, Joohyun.”

“You guys are so cute!” Wendy yelps as she tears herself out of Irene’s arms, eyes landing on Kang Seulgi, who is watching at the two with a bemused expression, before suddenly tackling Seungwan and tousling the blonde’s hair into a knotted mess, all as Joohyun cackles at her younger members’ childish behavior.

“I really don’t miss sharing a room with you two,” Wendy mumbles, and Irene smacks the back of her head, causing Seulgi to laugh.

Seungwan immediately smiles when she sees you. Despite the fact that you had texted her earlier that you would be waiting for her in her dorm, she can’t help the excitement that fills her stomach as she runs a hand through your hair, taking a moment to admire your sleeping form. “Y/N,” She whispers lowly, softly shaking you awake, her heart melting as your eyes blink open slowly.

“Wendy!” You exclaim, the sleepiness lacing your body instantly gone as you launch yourself into Seungwan’s arms, causing the older girl to stumble back in shock at the sudden force, taking a moment to adjust herself as her hands move to support you at your waistline, while you rapidly place kisses everywhere you can. “I missed you so much!”

Wendy laughs heartily, hugging you tightly and nuzzling the top of your head before placing you back on her bed. She quickly climbs in beside you and rapidly moves to straddle you, a look of adoration filling her eyes as she hangs above you. You only giggle in response, Wendy’s blonde locks tickling your cheeks as she slowly leans down and captures your lips with her own in a slow and purposeful kiss. “I missed you more.” She breathes out, resting her forehead against yours, a lopsided grin spreading across her face.

Your fingers reach up to gently trace her jawline and then down to the base of her neck, causing her to shiver as you tenderly pull her into you, shifting yourself so the two of you are laying face to face, noses just barely touching. “I doubt that,” You tease. “How was Japan?”

Wendy’s smile almost instantly fades into an expression of unsureness, as she remembers the night before. “Hey,” You say, alarmed by the change in the older girl’s mood. “What’s wrong?”

Wendy looks at you, her brown eyes filled with worry as she gently grabs your hands. “I guess,” The older girl closes her eyes for a moment searching for the right word. “It’s just, I love you so much y/n, and I’m sorry if I don’t say it enough, but I really want you to know that. I feel like I never have enough time for us, and that when I do, I’m always trying to spoil you and it makes it seem like I’m trying to purchase your love.” Wendy has started crying by now, and as hard as she tries, she can’t stop the mess of words spilling from her mouth as she continues to ramble. “But I promise it’s not like that, it’s just because of my job I can’t be with you as much as I want and I feel like I have to make up for that by always doing exciting things with you so you don’t get bored of me, but in reality, I really just want to like, bake some cookies together or something, and god y/n, I just love you so freaking much and every day I‘m so scared that I’ll lose you.”

As Seungwan finishes, she finally looks at you in the eyes, which are filled with shock and something else she can’t quite read. “I’m so sorry.” Wendy quickly says, regretting her words. She laughs softly, clearly choking back a sob. “I shouldn’t have said that.”

Your eyes widen, realizing she’s mistaken your dumbfounded silence as something else, and you find yourself pulling the older girl into your side, clutching her tightly as she begins to cry into your shoulder.

“Hey, no, it’s okay, baby, it’s okay.” You mumble, wiping her tears away and running your fingers through her hair. “Seungwan, I swear I will never leave you. I love you so much, not because of the things you buy me, but because of you. I promise you there was never even a single second where I thought you didn’t love me,” You chuckle suddenly, poking Seungwan’s side causing the older girl to giggle. “Plus let’s be real, If any of us should be worrying about not being good enough it should be me, you’re not only a gorgeous and talented woman but also one of Korea’s favorite idols, you could literally be with anyone but you chose me.”

Wendy laughs into your neck, unable to believe that you’re even real. “I wouldn’t choose anyone else Y/N.”

“Me neither.” Wendy's smile only widens as she feels you lightly press a kiss into her head. “And Honestly?” You say, moving so you can look Wendy in the eyes. “Baking cookies sounds fucking awesome.”

Wendy grins. “I have a day off tomorrow if you want to.”

You beam at her, nodding excitedly. “You, Son Seungwan,” you say, suddenly cupping the older girl's face, “Are the best in the world.”

And maybe it’s only your opinion, but as Wendy kisses you she realizes she doesn’t really care, because in the end, you’re the only one who’s word matters.

Have you ever created a fake internet persona for yourself? No. Do you enjoy going to weddings or showers? What is it that you like or dislike about them? Not... really. They're triggering for me. And I don't use "trigger" lightly. They legitimately, deeply affect me. It's part of the reason I've lost a lot of interest in being a wedding photographer. Is there a person in your life whom you support by showing up for the sports games, concerts, or other performances? This question, uh... sucks. Because I'm that awful aunt that doesn't go to her nephew's t-ball games while everyone else does. It's the heat that does it, but still... it shouldn't. How many video games do you have? A lot. We have a big case of them. Why did you take the last pill you took? My heartburn is especially awful today. Has a girl ever stayed up with you all night? A guy? A girl, uhhh... maybe? Idk. Waking up in a shitty bed at the ER while waiting to be transferred was never one of my favorite things... The only "issue" that really exists in my family is how my mom feels like Ashley (my older sister) avoids her, and therefore Mom doesn't see the kids nearly as much as she wants. In most cases, admittedly, I get my mom to come kill it. :x I really, really want to get on a level where I can just cup the spider and take it outside. I want a few types of spiders one day (tarantulas, jumping, and velvet), after all, so I really should get used to interacting with them. I know in my gut they're nowhere near as dangerous and scary as your head makes them seem, but it's so instilled in you (most "you"s, anyway) from a young age to stay away from spiders, so it's fighting almost like instinct.
