St. Catherine of Bologna

Patronage: Artists

Saint Catherine, an Italian nun, and mystic was educated in the arts. She joined the Franciscans as a tertiary, then eventually, the Poor Clares. In Bologna, she started a new convent and was appointed its Superioress. Her mystical visions included battles with Satan and an ecstatic experience of having the baby Jesus placed in her arms by the Blessed Mother. Buried without a coffin, she was exhumed after 18 days and found uncorrupted. Six hundred years later, her body remains intact and is seated on a golden throne behind a glass case in the Church of the Saint in Bologna.

Might as well show you guys what I've been working on instead of writing... 😬

It's a (late) bday gift for my SO! I bought this Elesh Norn 3D print on etsy, removed all the supports and sanded it, painted everything then assembled it! I must say it was a lot more enjoyable than I thought, I just might make this a new hobby 👀

Also, spending hours upon hours on this project has led me to the conclusion that Elesh Norn is simply genderbent Summoned Skull lmao

In two weeks I get two weeks of vacation and I will f i n a l l y WRITE.
