Eth was in the middle of unofficially arranging a political marriage for himself, but he had to change plans very abruptly. He's pretty pissed about it. Not because the new option is any worse for him, but because he feels he didn't have much of a choice. He recognises, years later, that it worked out far better for him.

For all that he treats Tayuin with disdain, he doesn't particularly dislike him. Truthfully, if he'd ever considered Tay in any sort of danger or true distress, he would have stepped in in some way to protect him, as he would his other siblings. Unfortunately, their parents' neglect didn't really register as such until near the end. By then, his attempts to help his father do anything about it were too late.

Eth is the only member of the royal family who actually stays within the company of his Sentinels at almost all times. As well as being heir to the throne and therefore at higher risk, Eth knows his magic isn't particularly suited to protecting himself, unlike his siblings' or parents'.

Out of all his siblings, his relationship with Ailos is the most fractured. Eth resents all the trouble Ailo causes, all the extra work it creates for him, and Ailos considers Eth either complicit in or wilfully ignorant of Kaelys' treatment of him. Eth doesn't understand why Ailos seems so intent on destroying his own reputation and life, and by extension, their family's reputation. Ailos isn't aware of just how much effort his brother expends to stop any of that from happening.

After Tay's escape and learning just how little of his siblings' lives he was actually aware of, Eth loses a great deal of his remaining respect for his parents, especially Kaelys. He's long known they're not perfect, but he was working under the assumption they were at least trying to do what they thought was best for each of their children.

3. When Sceleritas fetched them from their comfortable home, what did they do on their journeys? Did they take on any jobs?

Well, Sceleritas just kind of directly took him from his house right to the temple, Strike used to live just a bit outside of Baldur's Gate so that it wasn't really far. Also, he was nine when that happened, so nope, just went straight from being a semi-normal kid to leading a murder cult!

5. What was their relationship with Sceleritas like? Did they like their ever-adoring butler or did they try to run from the most wretched mother hen?

For the longest time, Sceleritas was the closest thing to a friend that Strike had, but the issue was that Scel never stopped babying him, even once he grew up. He is this twisted sense of comfort for Strike, but at the same time he is also an annoying servant; so i'd say a mix of both? When Strike is an adult he starts to avoid him and complains about him constantly, but at the same time he relies heavily on Sceleritas as he is the most consistent thing in his life.

13. Orin has her faithful group of changelings. Did your Durge have a similar 'personal guard' or task force at their back and call?

Nope, and he mocked Orin for having her changelings, as he considered that as a sign of weakness, that she had to rely on others. He sometimes took a few Banites with him if he needed extra hands, but he always believed he needs to be able to do most things by himself, or he'd be unworthy of being his Father's scion.

Loki/Grandmaster (I will make references to it as a past thing that Loki did for survival but he hates it). Loki/Thor (There's some pretty-pretty artwork out there, and I will acknowledge that it's gorgeous and can enjoy it as artwork, but as an actual pairing, no. Just not my thing.)

5. Out of all your fanworks that include [Loki], which is your favourite?

Obviously, my on-going WIP series Hemispheres would be the top of that favorite list, but then I'd have to say I'm torn between these two:

Both of them feature Loki in vulnerable moments. The first one, he's like 5 and tiny and adorable and scared of the storm. He gets to meet a stranger who boosts his confidence a little. And the second one, he comes back after a grueling time in Asgard with Thor, who's still being far too bullying, and his friends and is really low about it, and Tony gathers everyone up to make a blanket fort (as Loki's never experienced one before), order Loki's favorite take-out, and watch movies to comfort him. Wholly self-indulgent on the comfort side.

6. Show us a bit of a WIP!

��So Loki made friends with Natasha by helping her with mission stuff?” Justin roped them back around to the other topic.

Nodding, he answered, “Yeah. He did some spellwork for her. Imbued it into a piece of jewelry that essentially all she’s gotta do is think about how she wants to look, and that’s how she looks. The spell lasts as long as she needs it to, and then when she’s ready to not look different, she just thinks of herself and bam. Nat again. No more dying her hair unless she wants to, no more contacts, no more tech that can blitz out on her.”

Justin looked impressed. A little skeptical, him being a tech and science guy like Tony, especially tech, but still impressed. He wondered how Loki’s ‘magic’ could be utilized in their own tech, but he figured Tony had already been thinking about that.

“Nice. Sounds like he’s much better as an ally than an adversary,” Justin remarked as he finished with the last of the dishes. He dried his hands and hung up the towel again.

Tony took in how easily Justin took on the domestic task of dishes. Seems like he learned some humility in prison, after all, and wasn’t looking to be waited on anymore. Perhaps there was hope for guys like them after all.

“Much better as an ally, though don’t let the gentle smiles and the fun tea parties he has with Morgan fool you. He’s still dangerous when he wants to be. He’s like a cat. Don’t rub him the wrong way or you’ll find his claws slashing your hamstrings,” he joked, but the serious look in Tony’s eyes said he wasn’t actually joking.

Justin walked over to the fridge, grabbing a glass along the way, and filled it up with ice and water. He took Tony’s glass from him to fill it up, too, and handed it back, refusing to see the pleasant surprise in that gaze that followed him around to take a seat at one of the tall chairs at the counter. Cold, pure water rushed down his throat and gave him time to think of how to respond to what Tony said. Setting the glass on the counter, Justin turned it around and around, watching as the water remained calm even in its movement.

“You think Loki’s dangerous to people here and you let him stay? He’s really close to Morgan from what I hear. I don’t see him much. Passing in the halls, when we eat. That’s about it, but your kid adores him.” Justin let out a breathy laugh. “I think she adores all of us, though, so I think that’s just her. Big heart.” Like her dad.

Moving across the kitchen so he could belly up to the counter next to Justin, Tony took a drink of his water and set the glass down. Two men, both at one time consumed by the big buck, by reputation and prestige and power, by controlling the playing field where weapons and tech were concerned, rivals – not bitterly so but rivals nevertheless, now sitting side by side, drinking fucking water for fuck’s sake, when they used to be dripping in the finest whiskey and women. Burying the hatchet, and not in each other’s skulls.

Tony never would’ve believed it could happen, especially not after he and Rhodey had to face down Vanko and the shitstorm he brought that Justin bankrolled.

It was kind of nice, though, given that one of the last people Tony’d wronged in the past had injected his ex with Extremis, which still made Pepper a fiery handful to deal with, but at least, they’d gotten a handle on it for her so that she did set people on fire with her fists anymore. While he’d never specifically wronged Justin the way he had Aldrich Killian (and really wronged was a little strong for just saying he’d been a spoiled dismissive asshole), he had been a dismissive asshole, which pushed Justin to make one of the worst decisions of his life.

“I don’t think Loki’s a danger to Morgan ever,” Tony finally stated and tilted his head to meet Justin’s curious stare. “I don’t think Loki’s a danger to me or Bruce or probably not Thor anymore. Not since we’ve all sorta ganged up on Thor and told him not to be a dick to his brother. The stabbing’s stopped at any rate. You, though. He doesn’t know you well enough yet, so I’d just say...tread carefully. You never know when you’ll end up on a mission with him.”

“Yeah, about that,” a voice from behind them announced.

Tony and Justin swiveled their seats.

Phil Coulson met their eyes.

9. Write a recommendation of someone else's fic you enjoyed!

Okay look, I have so many bookmarks and fics I could recommend that are tear-jerkers, kept me on the edge of my seat through months and months, that made me swoon, and I could easily give any and all of those. I could and I would! But this asks for one fic, and I'm gonna go with one that made me LOL so hard it woke up dog up from a nap in the other room and had my sister asking me if I was okay because for a second, I couldn't breathe.

I don't normally read DC fanfic. I like DC okay enough to know generally who the major players are, but I'm not invested. However, I am invested in my friends and their creative sparks, unless I'm just really not at all into a particular fandom. I can't really write a full review to say what it's about other than it's not exactly safe for work, definitely not for kids, though teenagers would love this, I think. I think that's why I love it - I'm still 12 and masturbation and fart jokes make me giggle. (There are no fart jokes in this, but discussion around masturbation is.) I want as many people as possible to read this fic because all the laughter in the world could finally heal humanity, I think, and if we could all laugh our asses off at this one, it could drive out the darkness all around us these days. Seriously, I believe this fic has the potential to lighten the world, to drive out the fascists, to heal the sick and sad, to build a protective bubble around the vulnerable - all through the laughter that this fic will grace people with. READ IT AND LEAVE KLEENEXWOMAN SOME LOVE ON IT.

Book - American Gods - He really rooted for the New Gods at first, especially Technical Boy and Media, but somewhere in it, he really dug Mr. Wednesday, Mr. World (and especially Mr. World's reveal).

So many people give Emma shit for being cold, stand-offish, and snobby, and because of this, Emma performs that to perfection. However, around those who see past this barrier, she's loving, warm, tender, kind, encouraging, compassionate, and has one of the biggest hearts they've ever met - and she uses her big bucks to take care of the people she loves.

Hi!!!

E: What character do you identify with most? Is there a certain fic of yours that captures these qualities particularly well?

Assuming you mean from LU? Lolllll so a while back in discord I mentioned that I most related to Warriors—then was immediately vetoed by an entire group of people telling me I’m very much like Legend. Which… yeah okay, FAIR. A good friend once told me “you’re undoubtedly kind, perhaps not always nice” dofkejdid. The biggest example of this in a fic is The Kindness War in which Legend is mad at his new neighbors for one-upping Ravio’s act of kindness. It was based on the kindness war I was having with my own neighbors, which I was losing………………………. (We’re even now.)

V: Are there certain comments you’ve received on your stories that have stuck with you?

There’s no one particular comment, but I’m always touched by comments in general that mention they read more than once, or were inspired to write/draw something based on one of my works, or when people go out of their way to point out certain parts that made them laugh out loud or cry or have to take a break from reading. It’s such a good feeling to know something I wrote left an impression like that!

Flint X Reader: Servant and a Pirate.

You were caught in the middle of the crossfire between the navy and pirate that were raiding the ship you were on.

It all happened so fast. One minute you were out to fetch something for your master and all of sudden, as if you were in an unexpected war, a cannon start shooting at the merchant ship.

And your instinct now is to stay alive much as you can.

Many pirates begin invading the deck and the soldiers use all they’re strength to push them back. Straight ahead you saw a door that leads to down below deck where the longboats are at.

You took a deep breath and splint across while avoiding on getting shot. But you bumped into someone since you were too focus on the door you barely known your surrounding.

You perk up to see who it was and your face grew pale. The person who you crash into was no other than Captain Nathaniel Flint, the leader of his pirate crew. You heard stories about him. About how he was cruel and bloodthristy towards his victims and the last thing you want to do is to meet with this monster.

Shaking off your frozen with fear, you pass him and ran towards your only escape. Running down the stairs towards the hallway you make your way towards the longboat room and saw people up ahead running to that room.

But you felt a sudden chill making you stop. You feel as if someone was watching you. Your head made a slight turn and you let out a fright scream to see the Captain staring down at you. Before you can make a run, he snatch your arm and you scream more and struggle to break his grip.

"Let go of me!" You cried and pray someone hears you. "Help somebody! Help me!"

"Shut up," He sneered which made you stop in fright. "I only want your gold."

You breathed heavily and shook your head. "But I don't have any.." He silence you by pointing your free wrist, which has two golden bracelets. "Those. now."

At this point it was your wise chose on giving them to him so he can let you go. But you cant right now, you needed them for purpose. With much courage you refused.

"I..I'm sorry I cant give them to you,"

You watch him roll all his eyes," Save your pathetic excuse about it belongs to your family members."

"No its not that!" You cut him. "I need to sell them for good money."

Flint gives you now a puzzle look. He slowly let your wrist free and asks,

"What?"

You quickly explained to him while rubbing your wrist. "I dont have enough money to buy more food. I barely have any even though I work for the wealthy family. After you were done he gives you a long look.

About a few second he forms a fang grin and starts to howl with laughter. You stood there, with much confusing on him sudden find this amusing.

He slowly ceased his laugh and spoke. "These rich pigs cant share they're riches with you? After you work with them so much?"

'They only give me a small payment," You answered almost wanting to defend them since they given you shelter and let you voyage with them.

"But its never enough to satisfy your need," He reminded you. This you cant find anything to defend with since he was mostly right. Then he got on his knee to look at you straight. You gulped to glance at his many pale yellow eyes and waited for him to say something.

"im offering you a choice lass," You almost gasp to hear this and let him finished.

"A choice if you join my crew, I can let you steal all riches from other wealthy where you'll never be worry about feeling hungry." His offering was tempting, even more with a thought on this act of revenge on these wealthy family you worked for many years.

But stealing wasn't your thing. You feel it was wrong to do since your life you were a good person. Before you can have a second thought Flint added with a dark tone.

"If not, you will die in flames like others boarded this ship," He held his hand out to you. "What is going to be?"

You stare at his hand as you in this situation of life and death. Thinking on if you join piracy maybe this was an easy way out of your stress on saving money. And thinking on how much food and other thing you can buy without worrying.

Finally decide on choosing, you nervously reach your hand out and took in his large bony hand. "As long as you let me steal riches, Captain.

Flint smiles at your decision holding your hand.

5. favourite song in your native language?

I've gotta admit I actually rarely listen to Czech songs, most of the ones I listen to are either English or German. But if I were to choose, I'll probably go with Lady Karneval. It's very much my parents' generation song, maybe even older, but it's such a classic.

15. a saying, joke, or hermetic meme that only people from your country will get?

My favourite one is probably saying "Kde udělali soudruzi z NDR chybu?" (roughly: "Where did the comrades from German Democratic Republic make a mistake?") whenever something goes wrong or does not work as it should.

It's a line from a cult Czech movie from the 90s. It's a comedy about life under the communist regime and about multi-generational family trauma. Us Czechs have a great time-honoured tradition of watching it every Christmas.

22. what makes you proud about your country? what makes you ashamed?

Proud... I guess some specific artists, like Kafka or Seifert. Some Czech inventions and discoveries are pretty cool, like the word 'robot', contact lenses or the laws of heredity.

If I go with historical events, then definitely the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich by the Czechoslovakian soldiers during the time when we were occupied by Nazi Germany. It has all of the themes of bravery and resistance and personal sacrifice that just kind of click. There's also a solid movie about it with Cillian Murphy.

Also any time I see the defenestration memes going around Tumblr, I have the urge to be reblog and be like 'Yeah. That was us!!'

Ashamed - definitely the fact that a lot of people here are quite racist and sexist and often weirdly proud of it as well. Also a lot of our politicians, though at least our new president is a step-up.
