okay I have some questions about characters you've written!!

1. What is musician!eren's primary love language?

2. What is firefighter!ace's primary love language...something in me says food (I really do think food is a love language!!) but mmm idk could be wrong.

3. What is firefighter!ace's favorite place to go/do on dates? I read your fluff headcanons and I think you mentioned he's a big outdoors guy so I wondered that.

1. So EJ’s primary love language is gift giving. It’s not so much that he’s not an affectionate person or hates physical touch, he’s just not good at expressing himself. Like he’s not suuuper affectionate (sometimes) but if he can hear you talking about something very briefly in a conversation from two weeks ago and he’ll surprise you with it. He’ll be like ‘this made me think of you’ or ‘I thought you might like this’. He also loves acts of service! Like he’ll help you do your hair or giving you a massage. He’ll cook for you and even bring you breakfast in bed.

2. for firefighter!ace, you’d be absolutely correct. This man lovesss food and anytime that he can enjoy it with his girl, he’s happy. Whether that’s trying out new restaurants on a date night or cooking for one another, he loves to eat. He also loves physical touch. He’s a cuddlebug and will literally fall asleep in your lap like a cat if you play with his hair.

3. His favorite date places are of course, any place to eat. He loves latin fusion type clubs/places because they usually have music and he loves to dance (and drink). He loves going hiking or on picnics, he also loves camping as well. (side note: y/n told him about glamping and he was so confused. Seemed too ‘easy’ to him.) he’d be down to parachute, go sailing, etc too. He’s down with anything, as long as it ends with a good meal and you two having some fun.

4. and lastly, I am SOOOOO here for cowboy!ony! That picture lives rent free in my mind and I’m just imagining my boo with a thick country accent and a cowboy hat 😫 also need him driving a jacked up truck—lord, now I need to go write about him!!

I'm just thinking about this thing where, like...

There are misconceptions about what is and isn't safe for humans.

Like maybe mixing up stuff for humans and other creatures (e.g. yuu is calmly munching on grapes and suddenly gets yoinked into a Heimlich maneuver by Deuce because he thought grapes would be poisonous to his human friend (it's actually grapes))

Or other stuff like that idk lmao

Pfft!! Well, you’re not wrong in that there are lots of misconceptions that everyone has on humans in Twisted Wonderland. In fact, because it has been a very long time since humans have existed in their world, very few records remain on their history. All that remains is stories of their destructive and terrifying behavior and the few fairytales. (Such a shame...U.U)

So imagine their initial unease when Yuu first arrived and they were treading carefully, trying to figure out their temperament. In fact, Cater started a new Magicam account where he recounts the situations and discoveries with their resident human in a documentary fashion. They can be quite entertaining and silly to most like cat or dog posts, though others have been making many a researcher and mythological creature enthusiast question just how much they think they know. 🤔

I shall post such an example afterwards, but first in regards to your random thoughts. It absolutely has happened where they believed Yuu couldn’t eat certain foods. And if Yuu does have allergies, then yes, they would make sure that they aren’t anywhere near said allergens. On the other hand though when it comes to grapes (for example), it’s one of the few fruits available due to the toxic nature it has on some of the students and staff.

Yuu just so happens to find a bunch of them in the school kitchen and—after reassuring them that grapes were safe for humans to eat—is given permission to have some. They’re happily minding their own business walking across campus and decide to snack and walk. The moment they pop in a grape though—

“YUU!!! What are you eating?! Spit it out right now!!!”

Suddenly, quite a few students have all but tackled them, Jack trying to do the Heimlich maneuver while Deuce tries to pry their mouth open to save them from the “deadly grape”. It was pure panic-filled chaos and scolding for a solid five minutes!

Needless to say, Yuu had to have a sit-down with everyone to discuss what is and isn’t safe for humans. They still won’t let Yuu have anything with the stuff they are allergic to though!

At least with mini!Yuu, it's kinda hard for them to argue with a toddler giving them puppy eyes and insisting grapes are yummy. Imagine Deuce and Jack struggling to stay firm in denying mini!Yuu their favorite snack. Even when they're reassured that it's fine, they still insist on at least cutting the grapes in half to avoid choking hazards!

Do you HC Marc as being in touch with his Latino side? We've seen him clearly in touch with his Jewish side, but I almost wish we could have seen more of his Latino side as well! We know Jake is though.

I think… it’s something Marc wishes he could be more in touch with, but like, subconsciously. I think he knows and retains a lot of Spanish but never dares to speak it, i think he can read it and likes to listen in whenever he hears the rapid back and forth of two little old señoras (how do they talk so fast??), but he never responds - at least not in Spanish.

i think it reminds marc too much of what could have been- if that makes any sort of sense. He spent too much time in his younger years trying to be as perfect as he could (on and off) for his mother and it’s given him one too many bitter feelings towards the language- enough so that at a certain point in time, Marc stopped trying to speak or be understood.

i think marc was the kind of kid to revel in everything that made him different from others- i think he loved being Latino and Jewish and an Older Brother- these are all titles, you see, holders of identity- and when… and after… well. He stops wanting to be seen or known because that turns out to be dangerous.

so nonny im not sure if this answers your query entirely but . i think marc still connects in little ways. i think he likes to eat apple slices with tajín sprinkled on top and he loves piñatas and can make a mean salsa when pressed. I think he knows a lot of Spanish lullabies for some reason and just holds onto them in his heart in a little locked box that he doesn’t open but knows the contents of like the back of his hand.

(i also think that when marc reconnects with Jake his whole world is gonna open right up and tbh ?? i can’t wait.)

"Focus, Aryn."

The lanterns in the temple gardens paint the potted plants and the steep, angular walls of the courtyard a warm orange, which is in stark contrast with the deep blue of the evening sky. Like master and padawan, the light wrestles with the dark - Aryn tries to read her master's mind, Ven tries to resist her.

Aryn - despite her young age - is all talent and concentration, brows furrowed, eyes squeezed shut, lips set in a tight line. She's a prodigy, and of course that means teaching her comes with equally intricate challenges. And yet Ven is proud, prouder than he's ever been of a student, and he wonders if she can sense that, that despite the setbacks, the hardships, the failures, she is still the greatest thing he's had the privilege to help create. As she's scratching at the door of his consciousness, yet again failing to read her master's mind (not like she's ever had a chance, but the lesson here is persistence anyways) he's thrown off balance when the little girl sticks out her tongue in concentration, and suddenly there's another feeling beside pride now that swells in his heart, rearing to give in to Aryn's will prodding his mind - tenderness. He's never particularly wanted a family, or a child, but then again he never had the luxury to entertain such fancies.

And now there's this child, and he calls himself master. But in his mind, he calls himself father too. However, Aryn doesn't need to know. And he's not ready for her to know either.

...

When the temple burns, and the flames rage against the starless abyss of the night sky many years later, Ven welcomes Aryn into his mind one last time. And amidst all the warnings of a dying master about the Empire and Darth Malgus, Aryn also finds tender thoughts fading fast.

7. Do you prefer sketching, outlining, or coloring?

Personally I like 'outlining' because for me that's basically just another sketch layer, it's not a proper lineart where things are perfect, its just cleaning up whatever my initial rough sketch was! It means the idea is already there and I don't have to stress about that, and also isn't as long a process for me as colouring!!

I do like sketching itself but I have aphantasia so it can be really, really difficult for me and I often struggle with even coming up with ideas to put down because I can’t visualise any of it ^^

What are your hcs for albedo's teeth/albedo at the dentist? ^_^

Ooh good question- I feel like he neglects himself sometimes with him overworking, but he's also big on hygiene and takes care of himself every day, even if it's a bit delayed. And so I think the biggest teeth issues he'd have would be the occasional cavity.

I also feel like he has a high pain tolerance but HATES dental pain (same), and whenever he has a dental procedure, he's kinda irritated and sour the rest of the day bc of it sgkjh

I do think he lets Klee watch his appointments so that she could learn about it, with her being so curious, but it soon backfires when she picks up a wrench and looks at his teeth with a mischievous glint in her eyes--

You're partway right - my favorite flower does come in a bluish-purple color (which also happens to be my favorite variation)! Although not exactly like a bellflower, some hyacinth flowers kind of have a similar shape? They also smell really lovely and I like the myth about them 🥰

My favorite wildflower also happens to be a blue-purple color! I loved picking bachelor's buttons/cornflowers as a kid <3

And you'll call it a monster despite the fact that you were warned every step of the way.

Love Is A Liar's Game: Volcanic Eruption - Sexy stuff happens in this one so there's that, but also...secrets bubbling underneath the surface will eventually build up til they erupt and cause devastasion

Dolls and Soldiers/Bury my Ashes at Sea (aka the dabixhex!au fic): Avalanche - It's like a card tower, really. Everything is fine. Peaceful even. But careful where you step and don't make too much noise, or you might find yourself buried under the same mistakes as always.

(I’m so projecting in this), Livio has a habit of overthinking and doubting their relationships with others. They fear they’ll ruin things but they’re just a gentle giant <3 they also bite the inside of their cheek a lot and tap their foot a ton, albeit quietly.
