well hello!!! omg thank you sm, I love answering questions like these. 🥹🫶🏾

1. So EJ’s primary love language is gift giving. It’s not so much that he’s not an affectionate person or hates physical touch, he’s just not good at expressing himself. Like he’s not suuuper affectionate (sometimes) but if he can hear you talking about something very briefly in a conversation from two weeks ago and he’ll surprise you with it. He’ll be like ‘this made me think of you’ or ‘I thought you might like this’. He also loves acts of service! Like he’ll help you do your hair or giving you a massage. He’ll cook for you and even bring you breakfast in bed.

2. for firefighter!ace, you’d be absolutely correct. This man lovesss food and anytime that he can enjoy it with his girl, he’s happy. Whether that’s trying out new restaurants on a date night or cooking for one another, he loves to eat. He also loves physical touch. He’s a cuddlebug and will literally fall asleep in your lap like a cat if you play with his hair.

3. His favorite date places are of course, any place to eat. He loves latin fusion type clubs/places because they usually have music and he loves to dance (and drink). He loves going hiking or on picnics, he also loves camping as well. (side note: y/n told him about glamping and he was so confused. Seemed too ‘easy’ to him.) he’d be down to parachute, go sailing, etc too. He’s down with anything, as long as it ends with a good meal and you two having some fun.

4. and lastly, I am SOOOOO here for cowboy!ony! That picture lives rent free in my mind and I’m just imagining my boo with a thick country accent and a cowboy hat 😫 also need him driving a jacked up truck—lord, now I need to go write about him!!

Reading Mockingjay as someone who adores Katniss, is so heartbreaking. Babygirl is going through it. Like I legitimately believe once Peeta’s doing better he cries when he realizes everything she went through. His phrasing at the end of the book makes it sound like he wanted to get to her as soon as possible. I just get so emotional that they reach a point where they can take care of each other again 🥺

Oh my god thank you for sending this because I completely agree!!! I think about this a lot because during Mockingjay Peeta was out of it. He had no real clue just how badly Katniss was doing! And just reading that bit, where he comes back with the Primroses!!!! I just know he feels so remorseful like he should have done more (which he obviously couldn't have) because he knows that in many ways she was on her own and they've been a team for 3 years at that point and he wasn't there!!!

This is why I am eternally looking for the perfect growing back together fic that explores this because: !!!!!!!!!!!!!! That would be such an emotionally raw time for them!!!! Just UGHHH!! Knowing how Katniss is, and how she hates feeling weak, but also knowing that they trust each other a lot, but there's so much pain and baggage to work through and OMGGGG. I keep trying to write my perfect version of this for me but tbh I never will because I just can't seem to be able to deal with all the emotions this makes me feel!! AH!

I think Alasdair would be the type of man-child that refuses to seek medical attention— he could be impaled and say it'll be fine with a bit of tape— but be absolutely taken out by a common cold. Laying in a pile of blankets like it's his deathbed. He'd claim not to need any medicine while getting spoonfed soup by an (endearingly) exasperated France.

I can SOOO see him using fucking duct tape to seal a wound. Though, that isn’t to say he doesn’t know *how* to dress a wound, I imagine there has been plenty of times he’s taken care of France and used his medical expertise to patch him up over the centuries. I think he’s just a lot sturdier, his body is built like a fucking log. It’ll take a lot more than a little stabbing to get rid of him.

Just absolutely dying at the idea of this mountain of a man huddled up in bed, nose red, eyes puffy, staunchly denying any claims off I’ll health despite all the physical evidence to the contrary. Until Fran comes in with a bowl of delicious soup and he sits there docilely letting Fran spoon feed him and then eventually nurse him back to health.

i'm not even really part of these fandoms but you've inspired me somehow

Mike asks Larry for advice one day about dealing with sentient attractions, and Larry explains the checklist and getting along with the exhibits and making sure their needs are met, and Mike just stares at him. Like, "What do you mean they stopped trying to kill you?"

"What do you mean?"

And Mike explains more about what goes on and one night when Larry has the night off he goes with Mike to work and helps him figure things out with the animitronics.

He goes back to the museum the next night and the minis take one look at him and go, "You were with some other attractions last night, weren't ya?"

Now this is peak comedy.

Everyone at the museum just jealous that Larry spent a night with different attractions then them? Gold. Really, I honestly think that Larry could get through to the animatronics. Because Larry has something that Mike doesn’t. Social skills.

Are they limited? Yes, for sure. Still, they’re better than Mike’s. And since he know what it’s like to be around magical and dangerous things, I could imagine this could be a piece of cake! A challenge, for sure. It depends on which lore we’re going with. The movie or the games, but with time and care, I think the animatronics would like Larry.

I can just imagine him reading them all a bedtime story, under blankets and shit. And Mike is just— astounded.

“How the fuck did you do that.”

“What do you mean?”

“Wha— they listen to you!”

“Mike, they’re children. You gotta treat them as such. You can’t just expect a child to trust a big, scary stranger. You need to gain their trust. That’s how I did it.”

And Mike just stands there, stunned still.

Man— someone should write this.

So back to thinking about how they have this weird thing happening at the grove. Like they have been training together but it’s never a planned thing they just keep going back to that spot at the same time every day, it’s a very unspoken thing of ‘you intrigue me and I’m hoping to learn more about you’

In my personal head cannon I imagine that Cal is just the sweetest, and also the cook of the family.

Now cut to Cal happily trotting off to him and Lea’zels spot with a covered pot of last nights leftovers. Lae’zel is unsure why he has started to bring them food for afterwards but it’s better than what Gale has been making so she happily devours the food. I like to imagine that after a while of him doing this she decides to give him something, like A new spear, well new to him. Just something she found and cleaned up and sharpened for him, she only did it because the old one was “faulty for his build” not because she really likes the way he smiles when she gives him a gift.

I also imagine that if she gets injured if any kind he is right by her side, never babying her because she doesn’t like that but he would have to put on the pants a bit and tell her to stop stretching herself so much. And if Cal gets hurt? You’re lucky she decides to just stay by his side for protection. Lia had to tell her Cal wouldn’t want the enemies head on a spike. Just keep him company…

After they get together at the end of everything (because I think Cal knows she is going through a lot so he’s not going to make any moves until things are settled) they finally get together, I can see Cal being so nervous to ask her to be his girlfriend and Lea’zel is just kinda like? Wtf is dating? And Cal just like well we hang out…and go on dates…and kiss…then Lea’zels just pulls him in for some hot kisses right then and is just very “there we are dating, now come back to my place and we can do more couple things” ghahha I know know Lea’zels is the demanding type and cal is so eager to please.

Later they have started dating Cal brings Lae’zel to the tower for dinner for the first time, I feel like Lae’zel is aware that family is important to him so she is trying her best to be ‘pleasant’ as possible. But her being pleasant is staring at Rolan and Lia from across the table as Cal talks about some stories of his day. Lia actually warms to Lae’zel quite quickly, she can respect Lae’zel dedication to a person and knows Cal will always be safe because Lae’zel will kill any and all who might hurt him. Rolan? I’m not too sure how he feels about the couple, he’s supportive but I think Lae’zel might make him nervous.

They give me he fell first and she fell harder kinda vibes.

When asked what Cal likes about her he will say one, he thinks she beautiful because hes just a sweetie and two he likes her strength and honesty. She isn’t scared to speak her mind and take charge, he likes a strong woman.

When asking lea’zel the same question she says that one it’s none of your business but two she admires his determination, no matter how much things go wrong or things seem to be hopeless Cal always has a smile and words of encouragement. Also she finds that after being around bloodshed and being told what to think and do it’s nice to have someone who can help her relax and want to know about things she truly feels and wants. He just melts her heart.

And I cannot stop thinking about how funny it would be if Rolan late one night gets up to get like a late night snack or something and him seeing Lea’zel in the kitchen chugging down water in one of cals shirts. Rolan is like speechless and Lea’zel just looks at him without a care going “evening, wizard.” Then taking back some fruit for a very worn out Cal.

Sorry if the thoughts are scrambled, I just love my crack ship and get excited when talking about them! I have more thoughts about them and some NSFW thoughts…maybe I should write a story? Or post something…let me know what you think….

Eddie pauses in the doorway. He doesn't understand fully. He tries, but he knows it isn't fully. He wants to be there for you, but he also doesn't want to overstep.

He remembers waking up from nightmares, pushing you away. The panic every time you didn't respond to him when you stared off into space. You encouraged him to go to therapy. You held hands as you both went to your own appointments.

He knows it isnt the exact same for you. But he has sympathy, having gone through his own thing. He can understand a part of it, but his heart aches for all you're going through.

"Can I hug you?" He asks, knowing sometimes he wants to rip his skin off because of *that* feeling. "..yeah" your quiet reply.

He slowly crawls onto the bed next to you. Wrapping his arms around you. He kisses the back of your neck and holds you close. Silent. Which is hard for him. But he'll let you take all the time you need. He'll give a listening ear if you want to talk about it. He'll fight your past if you'd let him. But for now, he'll hold you and hope you can feel the love he has for you

I want to thank you again for writing Clan of the Aurochs. One of my favorites, such a unique fic. I LOVE it ❤❤ but I have one question, would max have an ide maybe, just mybe his mate's babe was also his babe? Like maybe did he develop some paternal feelings towards that baby?

Definitely he'd have paternal feelings. Though their culture doesn't "know" that children are literally a part of their fathers, and they don't even have a word or concept of "father" at all... Daniel's children are the children of Max's hearth! The sons and daughters of his mate! His mate's children! He has a deep, true love for his mate so certainly that extends to his mate's children. Though there isn't the concept of "father" there is the understanding that he - that all alphas - are responsible for the children of their mates, who live at their hearths... there is absolute fondness and love for those children. There is a closer love than that of other kin. Definitely paternal, even if they don't have that understanding of paternity. So yeah! He loves those kids!

And I think most certainly where there are of course children who have the essence of both of their parents... they certainly would therefore believe that the omega parent's totem was defeated by the totem of the alpha they resemble. That makes sense to them.

But with the absolute stark likeness Daniel's children have to Max, Max definitely gets to thinkin' about all this and how there is noooo doubt Daniel's badger totem was defeated by his lion... he gets to thinkin' that maybe there's more to it. The children look so alike himself that - though he can't work out how it could be possible, because it's omegas who have babies and not alphas - he's coming to understand that there perhaps is more to it than just the general ~essence of his spirit.

But they are a primitive people and they don't understand things like biology and sperm and eggs and DNA so he thinks there's something up but he doesn't know what.

Laura’s overall design is very well done. I enjoy the fact that she is on the wider set side because it relates back to her being a werewolf. The Hellsing estate is very reminiscent of the Victorian era so her dress seems like it would be something you’d see in the show. One thing I do wonder is since she is a werewolf, does she get bothered by tight clothing?

I do see the bonuses of the sleeves she has. It hides excess body hair which could be expensive to others and doesn’t look as awkward with her gloves.

Clothing that maids wore were also dependent on their status: what they did around the house, who they reported to, whether or not they appeared in front of guests.

Maid dresses don’t have any exact look for them. A lot of servants didn’t wear the exact black and white apron look unless they were facing guests. Which I doubt Laura would be doing because of her colourful personality. If she is, maybe lean more into decorating her apron with lace. Hellsing is a little more modern. In-home or maids in the city in the Victorian era had their own dresses with patterns. Darker or muted colours. Like any other woman in their class It might be nice to see Laura have some rotating outfits that show various aspects of her personality. Part of her character seems like it is learning to be gentle with others and herself. Another thing is vulnerability? It would be interesting for her to start to explore expressing herself through new ribbons in her hair, new hairstyles (maybe done by Walter like the cute father figure he is). She has had some run ins with being some ladies mysterious wolf mistresses. It might be funny and a little interesting if she wore any gifts she got from her girlfriends or even items she stole from the guys. Like how serial killers take trophies

Biggest thing I would want to see more if is her personality showing more through her design, unless you are more telling of a story of a werewolf that has a similar loyalty to the Hellsing family as Alucard does.

I like the idea of Integra complimenting Laura wearing her hair or having a certain colours on and so she continues to wear items of the same variety.

It depends on how modern or traditional you want to go. How you see your version of the Hellsing organization. My opinion on a design change isn’t towards the dress as much as it is to accessories.

I love Laura as she is tho so feel free to shoo this away.

I adore the idea of her keeping accessories from her previous mistresses and kills, that’s genius. Little hoarder goblin has a stash in her quarters full of random shit and trinkets she stole. Maybe wearing the suit of an unfaithful groom she ate (big talk coming from her after she fucked the bride) to wear on nice occasions.

Lace is a very interesting aspect! Especially since she is french, perhaps some traditional patterns from the 18th century. Lace is also delicate and ladylike, which adds onto her being a wolf in sheep’s clothing. And more english maid than french i’d suppose, since Integra is quite patriotic.

I also really like the detail of the loose clothing you pointed out! Laura is also claustrophobic, so that is definitely a plus on her design, as well as that reflecting her personality not being strict about rules or morality. Maybe some more rips and tears here and there to reflect her more wild nature. Colors might not be her thing… but a darker palette would be interesting.

And indeed, Laura isn’t allowed near the guests lest it’s for serving things if the staff is low. She’s already all glares and no smile, no need to spook the invitees any more than they already are by this strange grumbly woman pouring them tea.

As for her loyalty to Hellsing… it is at the same time complex and simple: dogs are loyal, and Laura likes Integra as a person and sees her as a prime example of the virtues of humanity, contributed also by the fact she’s fed and clothed while not having to hide her lycanthropy (to Hellsing at least). Normally she would despise someone like Integra, as she would see her as someone who’s as all bark and no bite; but seeing Integra be not only unafraid of her and Alucard but be commanding? That’s new.

Also, part of her character is absolutely learning to handle gentler things. She is muzzled, she can’t kill just anyone, she must stay docile, she can’t hurt herself or others. Integra has a tight eye on her, and Laura definitely isn’t used to actually being cared for, or having fellow monsters that actually understand her. That’s also why she’s loyal to Integra.

I also need to post about her backstory, it’s been months since i’ve been talking about it. But i tried to fit SO much psychology explaining in there, it’s difficult to make it compact (and i don’t want to make you guys read a whole novel).

Again, i will absolutely keep this ask in mind as i redesign her. Thank you so much for it.
