Saw this meme and wanted to try it with this crew (+Dairy Lord). Fun fact, the pink haired Ravager is named "K" and is based on the production supervisor for What If. I think she's neat.
Blank template because I couldn't find it on google and I hope to save someone the trouble:

what are people's thoughts on T'challa's Variants being recast? like yeah main universe T'challa is sacred but would people be that upset if a different actor played T'challa's starlord in secret wars?
or if someone voice T'challa in marvel zombies the series? just change the character's face a little or have black panther keep his mask on. because honestly I am not emotionally ready for a zombie that looks like Chadwick Boseman.

Star-Lord T'Challa feels like a very idealized rendition of the character. He's defined by a boundless curiosity as well as generosity for his fellow man - with no small amount of ego and self-importance.
This, however, isn't a stretch from the T'Challa we met in Civil War and Black Panther. T'Challa's capacity for generosity is demonstrably there; It was simply constrained by the societal values of Wakanda and his own propensity for bitterness and violence.
As king, he made some very questionable choices out of compassion for human life, and ultimately was convinced to forsake his forefathers' isolationism for the sake of communal good. He is capable of being this man.
So it's believable that a T'Challa picked up before those formative experiences were instilled in him would ultimately grow up to be a different person. In essence, this T'Challa deviated from canon at such an early age that it feels within reason for him to be such a different character. And yet, he doesn't feel so different from where our T'Challa ended up anyway.
The main point of controversy with him is his celebrity. In contrast to Quill, T'Challa is known far and wide across the galaxy. He's still on good terms with the Ravagers, and he's persuaded Yondu to change tactics for more of a Robin Hood angle.
But this works for me. I think it really boils down to this: Do you believe, in all honesty, that T'Challa is more intelligent, more charismatic, and more self-motivated to do great things than Peter is? Looking at both characters, I feel confident saying. Like. Yes? Yes. Absolutely. Without question.
Peter's charm comes from his bumbling everyman status. But T'Challa is about as far from an everyman as you can get. He was born to be a king. And it shows.
