I've seen you lurking for a while, glad you came up with such a good idea! These hands went to work! Gave you Bonus AU - What if Medicine Cat Brokentail?

So a heavily pregnant Swiftbreeze begs to go for one more walk before she gives birth. Adderfang goes with her, because he loves him wife, and the pair find themselves on the Shadowclan Border when the contractions hit. Adderfang has been studying with Featherwhisker (and Goosefeather if he was still around) for this very occurrence, because Swiftbreeze loves to be moving All The Time, and Willowkit is born healthy. The two are Gazing at the kitten when a hoarse cry comes from nearby. Adderfang goes to investigate, and finds a gray molly, one with a similar build and face, desperately licking her three kits. Adderfang wastes no time, calling to Swiftbreeze what's happening, and bolts in to help. The molly hisses, but is far too weak to put up a fight. She relaxes when he starts licking them as well - the brown tom is doing well, but the pair of torties are shivering cold. When Adderfang looks towards the queen, she's vanished - and a stunned Adderfang brings the kits to Swiftbreeze, who immediately begins to clean and nurse the kittens.

(they wonder who the queen was, and how she snuck onto Shadowclan territory. Swiftbreeze suggests that she must have heard of the Clans taking in kits or pregnant queens. Eventually Adderfang spies Yellowfang at a gathering and goes OH. Ohhhhh boy. Oh Starclan.)

The pair come back to Thunderclan and Featherwhisker is somewhat confused by the amount of kits but nice job you two, no work for me! Patchpelt and Leopardfoot are dazzled - lil babies! We love them! Swiftbreeze had already named Willowkit, so Adderfang names Redkit, Leopardfoot names Spottedkit, and Patchpelt names Brackenkit. The family grows up well loved and cherished. Brackenkit spends hours in the medicine den, listening to Featherwhisker talk and learning herbs. He practically BEGS to be a medicine cat, and Featherwhisker agrees heartily. Spottedpaw learns so much from Thrushpelt that she's named after him, and when Thistleclaw tries to spend time alone with her, Thrushpelt nearly claws Thistle's ears off, leading to his banishment. Redpaw makes close friends with Tigerclaw, pulling him back to a clan that does appreciate him. Willowpaw falls for a Riverclan warrior apprentice, and Willowpelt has Darkkit, who has little webbed paws and a gaggle of adoring aunts and uncles. Eventually Spottedpelt mentors the Kittypet Rusty.

Tigerclaw's family tree + Ideas and some lore

Note: The designs are not final, but are very close to be.

What the colors mean:

Red - Current relationship;

Dark red - Ex/Broke up/A "relationship" to only have kits;

Green - Offspring;

Yellow - In another family tree;

Pink - Unknown cat/Undecided thing;

Cyan(that is not present in the little chart above) - Adoption.

Changes in the family tree:

Oakstar is renamed as Star Oakspeckle, to fit the rewrite's naming system, Sweetbriar is now also the mother of Birchface and Frecklewish, and Star Pineheart has unnamed stillborns littermates for backstory reasons.

Flashnose is not Daisytoe's sister anymore, but a loner that was brought to the clan as an abandoned kit, she had Swiftbreeze with a loner, Adderfang was a loner that was almost killed during Star Oakspeckle reign, but was nursed back to health at the start of Star Doespots(Doestar) leadership.

Swiftbreeze and Adderfang only had Patchpelt and Leopardfoot, so they received a massive nerf so incest can be avoided, Redtail, Spottedleaf and Willowpelt had been moved to be Rosetail's kits.

Patchpelt had Longtail with an unknown Windclan she-cat, this is one thing that i'm still thinking, if the she-cat should be unknown or known, if she is going to be known, i have to make a huge research on Windclan's allegiances.

Leopardfoot and Star Pineheart have kits, but are not mates, Star Tigerclaw is not mates with Sasha anymore and is not the father of her kits, he is only mates with Goldenflower, with their first litter being Swiftpaw and Lynxfoot, and the second being Tawnyclaw and Brambleflower, and Goldenflower breaks up with him after his exile.

Tawnyclaw is childfree here, since her having kits with Rowanclaw would have some problems with their son, Tigerheart, having incest with Dovewing(as they would share the same great grandma/great great grandma), Brambleflower was mates with Squirrelflight, but breaks up with her, after discovering she is barren.

Brambleflower becomes mates with Jessy, and have Alderpaw and Sparkpaw, that after Jessy dies in The Great Battle, and Bramble running away from the clans, after his mates death and some things that will be explained after, their kits are adopted by Squirrelflight.

About the cats and some lore(longest part of the post, below the cut)

First of all, Star Oakspeckle is seen as a very rigid, strict and cruel leader, that was extremelly ambicious and xenophobic, his mate, Sweetbriar, despite her name, was not much better, as she puts her clan's pride above the cats wellbeing, and together with Star Oakspeckle, the couple wanted a legacy for generations, wanting their children to be their "mini me"(we need a evil COUPLE in Warriors, not just a evil man and a evil woman, a evil couple).

Their first litter was Birchface and Frecklewish, Birchface unlike his parents, was very sweet and gentle cat, that was very protective of his younger littermate, he had a little crush on Mapleshade when he was alive, and Frecklewish was more of her brother's shadow, following him around and adoring him, she was more closed than her brother and was very explosive if she snapped.

After her brother's death, Frecklewish had become more quiet and isolated, but when Mapleshade was pregnant in almost the perfect timeframe, after one moon after her brother's passing, and Mapleshade don't denying anything, Frecklewish jumps in the conclusion that the kits are in fact Birchface's.

She adored her kits as if they were her brother's image living on, instead of the kits themselves, Sweetbriar noticed some thing weird about Mapleshade's kits, and after Ravenwing's omen of three reeds inside of his den, Sweetbriar follows Maple and her kits, sees her interaction with Appledusk and Ravenwing confrontation, and decides to take matters to her mate.

Star Oakspeckle was furious when he heard that Maple's kits were actually Appledusk's, and exiles Mapleshade and her kits, the kits drowns, Appledusk doesn't get any punishment as he is Star Darkrose's kit(Darkstar, this could be too much, him being her kit, but i found it very weird how Apple didn't get exiled, while he cheated on Reedshine and made kits with Mapleshade, so i think maybe some type nepotism was in the play).

Mapleshade returns, kills Ravenwing for being involved in the reveal of her kits heritage, her target was supposed to be Sweetbriar, but she decides to kill Frecklewish, to make both the cat that exiled her and the cat that exposed her, feel what is to lose all of their kits, the snake bites Frecklewish in the eye, but she somehow survives for a while, so the couple has to watch their only remaining kit die slowly, as their healer was killed before hand, and while Star Oakspeckle was pleading for the others clans to burrow a healer to heal his daughters, she dies quietly in her nest, as Mapleshade promise before her death was to curse both Appledusk and Star Oakspeckle families.

Losing Birchface and Frecklewish in a short period of time, hit both of them very hard, and after some long seasons, they decided to have a second litter, 4 kits, 3 stillborns and one alive, Pineheart was spoiled rotten from birth to when he received his warrior name, as he was his parents last effort before their death of having a legacy, he carries alot of the beliefs of his parents, he becomes deputy, Star Doespots dies and he is now Star Pineheart.

While that, when Star Oakspeckle was still alive, Flashnose was brought into the camp as a kit, and raised in the clan, the clan was very dismissed and negligence of her because of her outsider origins, but she honestly didn't care as long as she doesn't get denied food, sometime after Pine was born, she had Swiftbreeze in a fling with a loner, she loved her daughter and teaches her to not be disgusted by her origins.

Swift and Pine didn't get along at all, as Pine was a older spoiled xenophobic brat, and Swift didn't just accept the insults and always insulted him back, as they got older, Swiftbreeze started to ignore Pineheart, while he tried to crush her spirit, and after seeking to become a deputy, the bullying gradually stopped, till he became leader, but Star Pineheart still makes very clear his dislike for her.

Adderfang was a very young loner called Adder that appeared in the very end of Star Oakspeckle's reign, he was caught stealing food as he was starving, and was brutally beaten up, Adder was in his death bed when Star Doespots was made leader, and for her first act as leader was to nurse him back to health, after that he joins the clan as a hunter, as Star Doespots wanted him to repay the clan for healing him.

Adder meets Swiftbreeze, they bonded over after their outsider roots, the clan started to slowly trust him, he becomes a warrior with the name of Adderfang, a simple but pleasing friendship starts, and they becomes mates after Star Pineheart was made leader(yes, took very long to them to become mates).

They had Leopard and Patch after failing to have kits for many seasons, Leopard and Patch were very close to each other, until they become apprentices, as Patchpaw decides to be a crafter's apprentice, and Leopardpaw a warrior, they still talk to each other, but are not as close as kits, and even after both received their names, Leopardfoot and Patchpelt.

Leopardfoot after a while wanted to have some kits, but had no interest to have a mate, so she started to search for a sire for her kits, Star Pineheart heard about it, and still wanting to carry on his parents's legacy approaches her, proposes being the father and taking care of the kits, but not being her mate, she agrees and in the next moon she is expecting the kits, when Swiftbreeze discover this, she is horrified, together with Adderfang, they had a huge argument with their daughter, as Star Pineheart is a horrible cat and way older than her, her parents started to give the silent treatment to her, and she avoided them.

Leopardfoot gives birth to two sick female kits and an one healthy male kit, Tiger, after one month of their month, the she-kits died of kittencough, Leopardfoot started to dotted on Tiger, as her only remaining kit, Star Pinehear was overjoyed to keep his legacy alive with Tiger, but he was not very around of his child, which stressed Leopardfoot, as he was breaking part of their agreement, but she ignored it for Tiger sake. Star Pineheart out of nowhere, started to disapear for some nights and days, which worried the clan, but one day, he calls the clan, announces that will leave the clan and becomes a kittypet, after hearing it, Leopardfoot is not angry, she is furious with him, how dare he leave their kit alone when he agreed to take care of Tiger together with her?

She blows up at him, backed up by her family, with it, Pine without his leader title, leaves the clan, Tiger started to hate kittypets because of his father, while Leopardfoot was trying her best and starts to spoil him, as he was her last kit, her buddle of joy, and with Thistleclaw later being his mentor, accidentally made Tigerclaw a cat extremelly xenophobic against kittypets, that was not the intention of Leopardfoot, as she only wanted her kit to be happy.

Patchpelt had a more calm life in comparison to his sister, he was living very well as a builder, but in a specific gathering, he meets a Windclan she-cat that caught his eye, with excuses that he was collecting material, he meets up with her, till one day, when he was ready to become a elder(in Star Bluefur reign), she comes with a surprise, she is expecting his kits, while he was very happy, she was not, she didn't want it, and wants him to take it, he accepts in a heartbeat.

After two moons, she comes with the kit, Patchpelt brings him to the clan, claiming that was from a fling with a loner, he names him long, he almost named the kit Weasel, but thought the kit could be named Longtail in the future, which he found it cool.

Some months after Long's birth, Tigerclaw started to court Goldenflower, they became mates a little before the first book, and had Swift and Lynx, the couple were happy by their kits, but Tigerclaw was not very fond of Swift as he look a little like his father, making Lynx his favourite.

But as soon as the brothers(Fireheart and Icefoot) joined the clan, Icepaw became close with Lynx while helping the caretakers, which resulted to Tigerclaw making vague threats to Icepaw and trying to keep him away from Lynx, when he expected to both his kits to become warrior apprentices, Lynxpaw proclaims mid ceremony that he wanted to be a hunter, and Star Bluefur decides to give Icefoot as his mentor, i don't have to say that Tigerclaw was furious with it.

While Swiftpaw reminded him of Pine and Lynxpaw disapointed him, Tigerclaw decides to have a second litter with Goldenflower, with the excuse of wanting to expand their family, but with the hidden truth of trying to do a "do-over" with the new kits, they have Tawny and Bramble, Tigerclaw gets exiled, Swiftpaw, Lynxpaw, Tawny and Bramble are discriminate for being Tigerclaw's kits, principally Tawny and Bramble as they looked the most like Tigerclaw.

Not having much with the family, but as Fireheart is not only distrusting Bramble here, but not trusting all of Tigerclaw's kits, he decides to warn Icefoot about it, they have a big fight, as Lynxpaw is his apprentice, and Icefoot knows him and his struggles, so when his brother tries to tell him that Lynxpaw shouldn't be trusted because of his heritage, Icefoot defends his apprentice with claws and teeth, and would be this tension between the brothers.

Continuing, Bramblepaw is Fireheart's apprentice still, Tawnypaw still goes to Shadowclan, Swiftpaw dies, Lynxfoot gets named, the Bloodclan battle happens, first arc ends.

Brambleflower now has a interesting thing, he starts to try to become stronger to protect his clan, but his ambition starts to get more dangerous, in the last half of the second arc, he starts to want a family, he tries it with Squirrelflight, but both discovers that she is barren, he breaks up with her, as he wanted a family of his own and he couldn't get it with her, while the reasoning rubbed Squirrelflight the wrong way, she accepts it and they still are friends.

Some conflicts change as the tribe is not existing anymore, i'm still planning it so i can't say it yet, but he meets Jessy, she joins Thunderclan as a warrior, and a great fighter at it, in Power of three, Brambleflower starts to have a obssession with becoming a deputy, so he can protect the clan, with he being more aggressive and manipulative with others. Jessy and Brambleflower had kits in late Omen of the stars, as Jessy wanted to wait before having them, they have Alder and Spark, they were a happy family until The Great battle, as Jessy wanting to protect the elders, gets killed, while Brambleflower was trying to prove himself as deputy material to his leader, trying to kill many dark forest cats as possible, after the battle, Brambleflower has a shock of reality, that he was slowling become a Tigerclaw 2, and runs away from the clans, leaving his kits alone.

The clans discover this and consider Brambleflower a coward, Squirrelflight seeing the situation and the consequences that it can bring to Brambleflower's and Jessy's kits, decides to adopt Alder and Spark, so they can have someone to take care of them, with both kits looking at her as their mother, even when she insists she's not.
