Here Are the Signs That Your Sweating Is Excessive
Here Are the Signs That Your Sweating Is Excessive
In other words, your body starts sweating without any explicable reason (like feelings of anxiety, hot temperatures, or exercise). This kind of hyperhidrosis can occur at any given time or during any season of the year, even if the person is not physically warm or is completely at rest. “Primary hyperhidrosis is most commonly seen in the underarms, palms, and soles of the feet,” says Dr.…

Odd question, but since they're both dogs and I imagine smell is important to them, what do Machete and Vasco smell like?
Smells are indeed important to them. I think their sense of smell is definitely more keen than ours but not nearly as extreme as that of real dogs. It would be kind of world/society/behavior breaking if one of their senses was that much above what we as humans can even imagine.
Fur absorbs smells more efficiently than skin, so the environment each person spends most of their time in affects the way they smell (the same way your clothes tend to hold scents from the places you've recently been to).
Machete tends to smell mainly of frankincense, the primary ingredient of the sacred incense burned during worship. Smells are hard to describe but to me frankincense smells sweet, smoky, earthy, citrusy, piney, resinous and woody. Evokes the feeling of sanctity. There's also traces of ink, paper and old books. If he had been treated recently and you got really close and knew to look for it, you might be able to detect the cuts where he was bled.
Vasco uses perfumes skillfully, his favorites contain iris root and damask rose. The mellow scent of his high quality soaps often lingers for quite a while as well. If he's been outdoors, there's a more noticeable hint of leather, as well as moisture, earth, greenery, animals and various other nature smells. Since he's characterized by his vitality, I can't escape the feeling that if you were to put your nose on him, he'd smell like a warm, healthy, living thing even more strongly than people usually do, even if you didn't consciously realize it.

Max: Why don't you take a bath?
Richie: I actually really don't like baths. It's like a me soup, very gross.
Max: I dunno, I could get down with some dirty boy soup.

A day late and a dollar short for Vice Day, but the last request I got (from our very own Vice Day organizer, @yodeleyewho ) was for a Vice/Starsky and Hutch crossover
I think Starsky would think it's fun for about 10 minutes and then get uncomfortable in a tie, Sonny and Rico would be fine (although Rico would feel a little underdressed), and Hutch
Would simply die

Echani sport interdigital webbed hands and feet, making them adept at navigating snow or water, though to a lesser extent of the ability of aquatic species such as Nautolans or Mon Calamari. Ancient Echani reportedly once had paw pads, but have since grown out of this evolutionary trait with the introduction of hands. However, many Echani still grow hair in-between their toes and fingers, as a result of evolving to keeping the cold out of their limbs.
Echani hands and feet also sport scent glands, leading to a complex system of communication interspersed with their vocal language. Echani scent glands are found in various locations around the body not limited to hands and feet, and can be found in places such as the surface of the head. Offworlders report that the scent carried by these glands is pleasant, resembling the smell of freshly made rice or grain products. Echani, while known to use their scent marking to communicate with other Echani, may also use it to mark those they think of as friends and sometimes baffle offworlders by nuzzling their heads against others or running their fingers through their hair, though this habit is more common amongst juveniles.

I hate having heat intolerance so much bc everyone gives me crap for it, like constantly. Its caused by my sensory problems, but it's uncommon enough that even other people with sensory problems give me crap for it. I get physically sick when it's just slightly warmer than what I'm comfortable with. I can't take long hot showers bc I have literally passed out from them. I actually have gotten fevers from being overheated. I get stomach cramps, nausea, headaches, and just your general sensory overloads and anxiety attacks from intense heat. I've never met anyone else like this. And on top of it, I get way more narcolepsy attacks when it's hot. I'm just glad I live in an area known for its freezing cold, long winters.
