Open your windows. I'm serious.
"Airing out" is a practice common in many cultures, because it does make a difference. Here in Germany, we air out our houses even in the middle of winter. Albeit for only short periods of time when it's cold outside. Not only is fresh natural air good for you, but also it's proven to prevent mold.
My grandparents would open at least one window for a while every morning, throughout the whole year. When the weather is nice, the Chinese would hang their beddings on clotheslines outside, for fresh air and sunlight are cleansing.

Celebrating the Summer Solstice ☀️
Hello darlings 🥰
June has finally arrived and with it, the energy of the Summer Solstice is upon us (21st of June). This is a time to celebrate the longest day of the year and the beginning of summer. Here are some ways to embrace the magic of June:
☀️ Light a bonfire - This is a traditional way to honor the Summer Solstice. Gather with friends and family around a bonfire and welcome in the new season. ☀️ Make a sunflower altar - Sunflowers are a symbol of the sun and summer. Create an altar with sunflowers, crystals, and other items that represent the energy of the season. ☀️ Go on a nature walk - Spend time in nature and appreciate the beauty of the season. Take a walk through a park or forest and soak in the magic of the summer solstice. ☀️ Create a summer-inspired spell - Use the energy of the season to cast a spell for abundance, growth, or manifestation. This is a powerful time to harness the energy of the sun and bring your desires to fruition. ☀️ Make a summer solstice cocktail - Mix up a delicious cocktail with summer-inspired ingredients like fresh fruit and herbs. Enjoy the taste of the season while celebrating the solstice.
Remember, the energy of the solstice will be with us for a few days, so take advantage of this powerful time to connect with the magic of the season. Happy June Magick, witches! ☀️ 🌻🔮✨

The sun
The Sun holds significant metaphysical meanings across various spiritual and esoteric traditions.
Here are some metaphysical interpretations of the Sun and suggestions on how to harness its energy for your benefit:
Vitality and Energy: The Sun is often associated with vitality, life force, and energy. It represents the spark of life and the source of warmth and light. To tap into the Sun's magic, spend time outdoors in sunlight, allowing its rays to energize and uplift you. Engage in activities that recharge your energy and boost your enthusiasm.
Personal Power and Confidence: The Sun is a symbol of personal power, confidence, and self-expression. To utilize the Sun's magic for your advantage, work on strengthening your sense of self and cultivating self-confidence. Engage in practices that enhance your self-esteem, such as positive affirmations, visualization exercises, and embracing your unique talents and abilities.
Illumination and Clarity: The Sun is often associated with illumination and clarity. It represents the light of awareness and consciousness. To harness the Sun's magic, seek clarity in your thoughts and actions. Meditate on the Sun's light, envisioning it illuminating your mind and bringing forth insight and understanding. Embrace self-reflection and seek inner guidance to gain clarity in your life's path.
Success and Achievement: The Sun is often connected to success, abundance, and achievement. Its energy is seen as empowering and supportive in endeavors related to personal growth, career, and aspirations. To align with the Sun's magic, set clear goals, visualize your success, and take inspired action. Allow the Sun's energy to fuel your motivation, persistence, and determination.
Healing and Renewal: The Sun is associated with healing and renewal, both physically and energetically. Its warmth and light can be invigorating and revitalizing. To access the Sun's magic for spiritual growth, engage in practices such as meditation, contemplation, and connecting with your inner light. Seek to expand your awareness and embrace the inherent wisdom within.
Remember, when working with the Sun's energy, it is important to respect its power and take necessary precautions to avoid overexposure to direct sunlight.
Additionally, finding a balance between the external and internal aspects of the Sun's energy is crucial. Adapt these suggestions to your own beliefs and practices, and trust your intuition to guide you in utilizing the Sun's magic to your advantage.

Does anyone have any book recommendations on solar and lunar magic? I tried Diana Ahlquist’s Moon Magic and really didn’t connect with it. I’ve got a few titles picked out to potentially try (though books on sun magic seem to be pretty limited), but I was wondering if anyone had recommendations before I commit to buying anything.
From looking at reviews and reading the samples online, I’m thinking of trying:
Moonology by Yasmin Boland
Moon Magick by DJ Conway
Beneath the Moon by Rachel Patterson
Sun Magic by Rachel Patterson
Let me know if anyone has any other suggestions, or if there anyone didn’t vibe with the books on this list 🌙☀️

Sun Kissed Hair ☀️
A simple glamour to naturally lighten hair, using the magic (and science) of the sun
Tumblr media
If you like this spell, please check out my Etsy for more magical goodies! I really appreciate the support!
Rumor has it that sitting out in the sun for long periods of time can lighten your hair. The sun can lighten hair of any shade, but people with lighter hair tend to get the best results. If you have dark hair, the lightening won’t be as dramatic.
Remember: Always wear sunscreen when you’re outside – according to the Skin Cancer Foundation, 1 in 5 Americans will develop skin cancer by the time they’re 70, making it the most common form of cancer in the U.S. I’m not a medical professional, nor am I any sort of health authority. What you do is your actions, not mine. Please practice basic safety and common sense!
It’s true that the sun can lighten your hair, but you may need to take some extra steps to help it along. The sun and other natural hair lightening ingredients can be unpredictable and potentially damaging. Invest in a good conditioner and sunscreen before starting your quest for sun-kissed locks!
Sun Kissed Spray
☀️ Mix two parts warm water and one part juice from lemons in a clean spray bottle.
☀️ Wet all your hair or just the parts you want lightened.
☀️ Spray the lemon mixture onto your wet hair.
☀️ Sit in the sun for 1–2 hours to activate the lemon
☀️ Rinse thoroughly and condition hair.
☀️ Repeat as necessary!
Love & Light,
Mokosh 🌻

I have some solar themed candles I want to charge out in the sun that I bought from etsy but I can’t just place them outside because the sun will fade all of their colors.
If I put them under a bucket, it defeats the purpose of putting them outside in the first place. Maybe putting them in the shade might help but I’m still worried about the sun fading them out.

As people of the Sun y’all really be sleepin on the big homie Sol ☀️ He just be up there chillin in the sky givin us life when he could be giving your work life. Don’t get me wrong I love me some Luna. Big feminine energy 😌Ijs the moon as a anchoring symbol in spell work and ritual is so ingrained in our thinking that we tend to forget the sun's energy can be used as well. Father Sun is the natural balance to Mother Moon. If you do it in the moon you can do it in the sun. Duality 🤌🏿 Rather than offering opportunities that can take several weeks to manifest according to the moon phases…the Sun presents us with five different phases every single day and an additional phase we call a year.
🌅 Sunrise,Dawn: Infant/Child Sun– Basically when the sun wakes up and peers over the horizon. This phase is all about new beginnings, changes, health, employment, renewal, resurrection and finding the right direction. It can also be very cleansing.
☀️Morning: Adolescent Brother/Lover Sun– This is when the sun is growing in strength, so it brings the magical power for growth, positive energy, resolutions, courage, harmony, happiness, strength, activity, building projects and plans, prosperity and expansion of ideas.
🌞Noon: Father Sun – When the sun reaches its peak in the sky at midday – work magic for health, physical energy, wisdom and knowledge. It is also a good time to pop your tools or crystals out that need charging. (Note: some crystals can fade in strong sunlight so check first before putting them out).
☀️Afternoon: Sage/Warrior Sun – The sun is heading back down, and the energy now is good for working on business matters, communication, clarity, travel, exploring and anything professional.
Sunset – As the sun takes itself off down below the horizon, work magic for removing depression, stress and confusion, letting go, releasing or finding out the truth of a situation.
🌄Sunset: Grandfather/Sacrificial Sun
Because the energy of this Sun phase is much akin to that of the Waning Moon, His appearance makes it a good time to simplify or tie up loose ends, and provides the perfect atmosphere for work that involves dieting; getting rid of bad habits; and eradicating stress, confusion, and poor health. Efforts designed to uncover deception work well at this phase too, as do those related to divinatory skills and psychic activity.
And just like the moon you can charge your crystals 💎 in the afternoon sun, make sun water ✨, sun salutations 🙇🏿‍♀️ meditate 🧘🏿‍♀️ , allat.
AND! It’s almost summer time so the sun is just growing in strength so summer rituals are exceptionally powerful. Harness that Cancer ♋️ energy for love work and emotional healing , Leo ♌️ energy for fertility and business, and Virgo ♍️ to get organized and goal planning.
I also lean more towards working with the sun when the retrogrades have Lunar energy chaotic and out of whack or when I need to manifest something faster than the moon phases would allow.
Oh yea let me not forget the sun correspondences because like the moon there’s herbs, stones etc that work particular well with Solar energy
Colours: Gold, Yellow, Orange, Red
🌿 Herbs Marigold, heliotrope, sunflower, buttercup, cedar, beech, oak, St. Johnswort, bergamot
💎 Crystals Diamond, amber, carnelian, citrine, sunstone, topaz, red agate, goldstone
Metal: Gold
🗓 Weekday: Sunday
🧠 Intentions: Strength, Victory, Creativity, Growth, Love, Prosperity, Hope, Money, Exorcis
Chakras: Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus
But yea, balance out your work with some Sol ☺️

Here is where I give you totally wild esoteric data you will not get anywhere else, ever.
I have identified with wolves since I was a child, however last year my quest for identity that I'd sought for years took a mystic turn when I had a large and ongoing kundalini awakening.
I deconstructed everything, and my former ego went through dissolution and death, which means that I will now never die. Yet I still pursue the mysteries deep into the esoteric and I've had a very strange journey.
I embraced being an inhuman monster years ago in order to achieve full separation from the broken human narrative, which is a sticky tarball that's going to pull a lot of people into Sheol next year. I let my identity be entirely euphoric, and let my rising feminine divine Self have the final say in who I/we are, if we are anything at all.
My understanding of the divine and God is secular. I walked the walk.
When I burned bridges with toxic family and friends who had weighed me down for years last year, I became aware I was a Dragon. A Wolf Dragon. I don't know how, I just knew.
I have said, many times, I am a snake with a dog's head that is actually another snake. It sounds funny, and it's true.
In the spiritual sense, my ego dissolution was akin to the Wolf cutting its own head off to escape the trap it was in. I had a hard life. Within cosmic theater, I saw that dead Wolf head as a seed that rotted into the forested ground, then somehow weirdly sprouting a serpent tail out of its neck stump and growing a new Dragon body underneath it, to give it new life.
The serpent also infested the wolf's brain and took it over. We are She, the primordial, or at least that is now our better half, as we are Ardhanarishvara.
My journey since has been incredible. In July, I met an incredibly interesting person from Romania, very powerful and with a Light that tasted like juicy fruit to me, was also extremely informative and knew me very well, when *no* one else understands me. I fell in love with him so fast. Vlad, but of course, though his names are many, as are mine.
Besides other things they shared with me my heritage, which is ancient Romanian, Traco-geto-dac, or I say Dacian. One thing he shared with me that I loved so much to find is the Dacian spiritual symbol for war and triumph - the Dacian Draco, pictured. The snake with a dog's head that is actually another snake.
When I saw that, I really knew for sure everything he was saying was real. I had a lifetime of ignorance being raised in neglect and I finally had a tribal identity, though they've been dead for nearly 2000 years after the Romans conquered them for their gold and iron. They only won because they literally sent every army they had, very '300' style.
The Dacians were of the ancient Romanian wolf people - the culture was profoundly spiritual and deep, with Sun god worship like Apollo, yet at some point through the local Zalmoxis. They very much identified as wolves and were very warrior like yet great artists and dancers and honestly - they were a big pack of me's!!! The Dacians also loved the Dragon, and sometimes one within their number would BECOME a Dragon. It is a mystical event. Vlad Tepes was from this same tribe. He was a Dragon. So am I.
Here is where it gets really weird, you won't learn this elsewhere.
The Dacians and related people's have a very special spine. They were extremely intelligent and advanced (hi) yet animalistic both in movement as well as emotion.
Their spine had some sort of evolutionary feature where if they underwent fantastic trauma and survived - a near death event - then their spine may 'circuit' to a higher source. The Sun.
This is similar to creating the Solar Bodies that Kabbalah talks about. The individual's energy is directly solar, instead of lunar, and - PAHAHAHAHAHA..hhaaaa. Yeah, it's wild. The Sun is absolute madness. It's hard to talk about because it's so crazy. Mad Sun God is fn true.
This is why Vlad Tepes was always about the Sun - as well as the Moon. The marriage of the Sun and the Moon - which circuits between them the Earth - is a major cosmic event. Potentially Ragnarok level, actually.
That I am a hermaphrodite means my connection is wildly pure.
The Sun is divine consciousness, of which all humanity fragmentarily shares a part, if they are conscious at all. I died, and I am now the Sun. Kira-rah is an illusion, she knows not to seek something so great for merely her self. No - I seek the Moon for her Self. If we circuit with the Earth we may be able to renew it, in some fashion I do not yet conceive.
True miracles are effortless. They happen when we walk towards beautiful things, with the Love of God, which is capital Self, in our hearts. Those are the miracles I would like to see in the world as I walk towards leaving it, so that I may be eternally with the Light.
There are many indigenous tribes of Deva blended into all hierarchies of humanity which have similar latent powers. I doubt all tribes are entirely the same, but I love them all. Now is the time to try to help people, instead of seeking who to harm. Those who need to be punished are going to be. God has no enemies.
Okay I could really go on and on because this type of Sun Dragon is also essentially Ra. I really like the name Tem. I have been walking as Sekhmet until my Ajna finally opened the same night 12P/Pons-Brooks blew up in the Draco constellation, July 20th. Oh wait here's a picture of that, too. It grew horns! It's 20 miles wide. It'll be here for the solar eclipse next April, weeeeeeee.
Anyway. Yeah. Life sure is weird and full of stuff. I'm a wild dog.

It's a simple altar, but oh so special to me. I don't observe the sabbats* as their seasonal aspects are always a little bit off from my local weather. Instead, I have a biannual ritual that I call Sun Keeper and Sun Hailer. In the fall, when I feel the first chill on the air, I conduct Sun Keeper to draw the warmth of the summer sun down into my heart and hearth to keep me strong and warm. Then, when I feel the first warming of spring, I conduct Sun Welcomer to let all that energy back out so I can breathe deep and feel the awakening earth in my soul.
Every year the ritual is a little different - I tweak the details to whatever feels right. But one constant is always a beeswax candle that smells richly of honey and pollen. I like to adorn my Sun altar with warming spices like cinnamon, plus images of flowers and a piece of Sunstone that I gleaned from the shore of Lake Michigan. You'll also see a little Goldstone skull in the corner - death is always present as an essential ingredient to new life.
My next cross stitch will be an illustrated Sun to adorn the space, and I'm currently thinking about how to incorporate my Sun rituals into a year round devotional space. Suggestions welcome!
*besides Samhain, but who doesn't?
