hey guys!
So, this is a test for me. I have been wanting to keep updated my studyblr for two years and never did it. Now i’ts my new chance. I wanna make it as a commitment to myself, If I do it I’ll know I can put my mind into something like this and actually accomplish it. 
Can you help me find studyblrs and langblrs to follow that will keep me inspired and in shape?
Also, I’m interested for history, sociology, philosophy, communication, literature, feminism, veganism, french and latin languages, celtic culture, journaling... well, a lot of things actually. But if you are post often, I will follow you!

it’s time to stop comparing yourself to others: like NOW

hi, my name is nonso and i have a HUGE chem final tomorrow. but instead, i feel a stronger tug towards this because this topic is so important to me like pretty much more than anything i have talked about on this blog. i feel that especially with college applications coming up next year and with finals right now, i see this surrounding me more than ever. this is kind of a “splash cold water in your face” post if you are ever feeling this kind of way. 
1. this is so toxic for your health it’s actually ridiculous. why are people, including me so obsessed with making themselves feel like actual trash. it makes your heart drop, a lump in your throat, tears in your eyes, just really dark thoughts in general and this impacts your performance so much. stop diminishing your beautiful self because you feel like you’re not good enough in comparison to  someone else. 
2. i’m writing this while one of my best friends is sitting here next to me and he mentioned some really good sub points as to why comparing yourself is wrong:
a. you come from different backgrounds: this has got to be probably one of the biggest. if you come from different backgrounds, you have different mindsets and if you have different mindsets, you see the world differently. NOTE: not worse or better, differently. even if you do come from the same background, you don’t live in the same housing situations, in the same family, speak the same language perfectly and even if by some miracle you do have all of these things in common, there are personal things in your life that affect you as an individual. you are an individual. there are things you have/are going to experience in life that will directly impact your actions as an individual and that’s what separates you from literally everyone else. there can’t be 2 of the exact same people so why are you comparing yourself to someone different? like apples to oranges?
b. it’s a vicious cycle! chances are that the person you are comparing yourself to is also comparing themselves to other people so what is the point? like actually? you’re contributing to the madness where everyone kind of just suffers in silence by making themselves feel inadequate and it the worst is when people actually start hurting each other because of it. dragging people down because you think they are higher than you. chances are they think they are lower than you so now you’re just making them feel worse- do you see what’s happening? It’s really really sad to think about sometimes. 
3. Those are kind of the two largest reasons and the other smaller ones pretty much fall into either one of those categories but I kind of just want to share a message:
you need to find ways to lift yourself up. if you feel down in comparison to others because you can’t help it, find at least one thing you like about yourself that is different from the person next you. find something that makes you an individual,  there is 100% something for you to find. if you have a cool older brother that helps you with your homework, there’s one! good at photography? yes girl!! another one! can you sing? i sure can’t because singing is hard and i commend you for pursuing and excelling in such a hard skill ❤ do you have the most beautiful eyes this world has to offer? keep shining darling :) do you have a special passion for animals? you have a great heart and you’re going to be a change maker some day! see? literally anything works. it’s time to start celebrating yourself because comparing yourself just makes you cast a dark cloud over your amazing features and what good does that do to anyone? you don’t have to be the best at everything, i know for a fact that there are soo many people better than me at math. but you know what? i am a great writer and a great artist and i have passions about so many things including this blog and i am so happy that i have these things because i know the people better than me at math don’t have a secret studyblr okay? haha or maybe they do? 0.o i wouldn’t know if it was secret yikes a n y w a y s you get my point. the world has so much to offer you and it’s your job to make sure you advocate for yourself and do what’s best for your well-being. chances are you won’t get into every college you apply for and that’s okay. chances are there’s going to be at least one final you flop and that is okay! the world isn’t supposed to work out the way you want it to be because then you wouldn’t learn. but you need to find out how the world works for you. is this making any sense?
T-2 days until summer for me. it’s going to be a good one guys, hang in there✨

routine
after a long day of work and friends i’m happy to be at home, catching up on glee! i’m going to post my routine for school days and share what works for me! let me know if y’all like this!
6:00 am - wake up and get dressed / makeup / breakfast
usually i wake up around six fifteen and just speed up a little but the goal is for six every day!
6:40 catch the bus to school!
i like taking the bus because it’s much better for the environment, and its speedy. plus i like socializing on the bus!
7:10 i usually get to the little mall by my school around seven ten and i’ll stop at starbucks to get bagels or coffee before i walk the quarter mile to school!
7:40 stop at my locker and get the books that i need for my first lesson!
AFTER SCHOOL GETS OUT
3:10 usually i walk to the mall/village and catch the bus from there, sometimes i’ll hang out with friends in the village and catch a later bus.
4:30 get started on homework!
5:10 walk the dog around the neighborhood. it’s good exercise and it’s nice to just get out for a little.
7:40 eat dinner, finish up any remaining homework
8:30 go over remaining material for upcoming tests, study and pack school bag
9:30 pop in the shower, get pajamas on, wash face, brush teeth, etc...
10:00 catch up on my favorite tv shows and try to fall asleep by 10:30!
