"In a stunning and unprecedented decision, the Colorado Supreme Court removed former President Donald Trump from the state’s 2024 ballot, ruling that he isn’t an eligible presidential candidate because of the 14th Amendment’s “insurrectionist ban.”"

pleas please ambrosius is the model knight, he's what all knights should aspire to be, he comes from the right family he does well in training, he's the model knight, he works within an institution because it benefits him--as long as he works in it, because the second the director thinks he's questioning things too much she kills him--are you picking up what im putting down? he keeps his true feelings buried--never show doubt, don't show conflict, keep your head down, do what you're told, aren't you so lucky to have this chance, aren't you glad you were born as you are and not like the others--are you hearing what im saying
(listen to eugene lee yang talk about this on the trypod)

I feel like a lot of people in the fandom tend to forget this, so I'm just here to give a kind, thoughtful reminder :]
Ambrosius Goldenloin in the movie is an East Asian man (Korean-coded), his skin is tan, his eyes are monolid and his nose is big
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's voiced by Eugene Lee Yang - a Korean-American actor who also has Chinese and Japanese heritage. Eugene Lee Yang looks like this:

During the production, when Ambrosius was decided to be East Asian, artists looked up queer East Asian-American men, and based Ambrosius off of them. Ambrosius is literally drawn to look like Eugene Lee Yang
Please draw him as such, thank you

was peacefully dissociating while listening to a podcast when an ad came on and the only part i heard was a juicy, smug woman's voice burbling "....while your baby's mushy little tushy wiggles and jiggles around." i don't know what this ad is for and can't rewind 30 seconds to find out because i barfed myself to death. in lieu of flowers please set fire to your local ad agency, for humane reasons

I don’t normally go here but they’re literally pressed as close together as they can get and Alex is teasing Logan about a “thirst photo” (boy I didn’t even think of it like that what is going on inside your head). Alex just has thoughts on every little thing about Logan and Logan is soo happy about it

people really need to stop asking stupid questions to logan and making stupid comments about him. because if i hear another 'heyyy, what's your fav food???' or 'do you know what kilometer is??? 🤨🤨🤨' type of questions, i will commit a crime.
also, i just wanted to say that you really did god's work... thank you for letting him know that he's loved and supported no matter what happens. i was really happy to see that someone was actually asking real questions and telling him nice stuff 🥹🫶🏼
To be honest, when I was in the room the atmosphere was really awkward. The host kept momentarily struggling to even find someone to ask a question, plus Logan kept downing himself and comparing his failure to Oscar’s success, it was breaking my heart. He honestly looked really sad, and I’m glad I got brave enough to speak up! He seemed very anxious and a bit shy, and with the way the season is going for him + the way he’s mostly just seen as a meme, he deserved to be reminded that he is a person and deserves to be where he is as much as anyone else.
He seemed really happy after I spoke to him. I even noticed that he gave the bracelets I made him to Benny, and Benny is wearing ALL of them this weekend. How sweet 🥹 I really wish the best for Logan. He seems very intelligent and sweet, and I know he’ll find his way whether it’s in F1 or somewhere else.
But yes, you’re right! He needs more people to voice their support. Just look at how happy and energetic he was today after the little bit of love I sent him from all of us!!! I’ve never seen him so full of life and act so silly before!!!

Little bits of kindness go a long way!! Don’t forget that (for Logan and for every aspect of life)! 💙

Social platforms are unnaturally rich with sources of moral outrage; there is always a tweet or news development to get angry about, along with plenty of users to highlight it to a potential audience of millions. It's like standing in the center of the largest crowd ever assembled, knowing that, at any moment, it might transform into a mob. This creates powerful incentives for what the philosophers Justin Tosi and Brandon Warmke have termed "moral grandstanding" - showing off that you are more outraged, and therefore more moral, than everyone else. "In a quest to impress peers," Tosi and Warmke write, "grandstanders trump up moral charges, pile on in cases of public shaming, announce that anyone who disagrees with them is obviously wrong, or exaggerate emotional displays." Off-line, moral grandstanders might heighten a particular groups sensitivities a few degrees by pressuring peers to match them. Or they might simply annoy everyone. But on social networks, grandstanders are systematically rewarded and amplified. This can trigger "a moral arms race," Tosi and Warmke cautioned, in which people "adopt extreme and implausible views, and refuse to listen to the other side.
