Ungrateful

Tony lay on his stomach on the pile of blankets they’d dragged to the lakeside, and buried his cheek slightly in the cloud-soft pillow, his arms tucked under it as he watched the sunset with half-lidded contentment. It was very orange tonight; hues of salmon, peach, persimmon, and molten gold melted into each other and cast a warm, golden light over him and Bruce.  

“I feel like I could dip a paintbrush into the sky and put it on a canvas” Bruce murmured from where he sat by Tony’s hip, lazily drawing his fingertip in featherlight strokes up and down Tony’s spine. Up and down, slow and meditative.

“You sound like Steve,” Tony chuckled, stretching a bit and then thrilling when Bruce’s fingertip trailed over his hip, to swirl in small circles down the back of his thigh.

“I would paint you,” Bruce said in a distant, relaxed tone.

“You already did,” Tony said, salacious, earning him a swat on the ass.

“Now you’re just being rude.”

Tony rolled slightly, so he could look up at Bruce from his side, propping his head in his hand.

“I’d let you do it again.”

“I already did it twice!” Bruce said, clearly trying to hold back a smile.

“Not enough. I can never get enough of you,” Tony said, sliding a hand up Bruce’s leg, feeling the soft hair under his fingers grow sparse as he reached Bruce’s inner thigh.

“Ungrateful. That’s what you are.” Bruce was full-on smiling now, as Tony shifted up to all fours, crawling closer to Bruce so he could crowd into him with tender kisses and lewd whispers.

“So ungrateful,” Tony hummed, his teeth lightly catching Bruce’s lower lip, and followed him down when Bruce laid back into the blankets. “Greedy, ungrateful, ravenous, insatiable….”

“Tony…” Bruce gasped quietly, arching into Tony’s chest.

“Shh, I’ll make you feel so good, Greenbean. You deserve to be greedy and ungrateful, too,” Tony whispered into the crook of Bruce’s neck as he settled between his thighs, which Bruce immediately wrapped around Tony’s hips.

“Don’t stop…” Bruce breathed, the last word hitching in the most sublime, indulgent sigh Tony had ever heard.

“Anything for you, my love.”
