it’s pouring in london and i cant stop imagining bumping into simon under an awning you both took for cover. (it’s hard to imagine he wouldn’t just walk in the rain but bear with me for a second):
cramming into a square metre bus stop with a massive wall of a man in a balaclava and asking him for a smoke. you’d forgot your umbrella, typical, and it’s the only available space around. everyone else had been scared off by the ghost see, opting for the underground rather than waiting the downpour out pressed against his hulking shoulder. any other day, and you would’ve been too. but your hair had just been done and you’d fresh run out of patience, smoothing your fingernails over the flyaways at your temple.
he’d go feral for you in your little trench coat, hands shaking as you try to light the (frankly impractical) antique lighter you pull out of your breast pocket. straight out of a film noir, really, and he can’t stop eyeing you in his periphery, his pupils glaringly sharp against the smudged eye black he hadn’t the chance to wipe off. he imagines urging you somewhere even more cramped — a pub washroom, perhaps, where he’d push you on your knees and fit himself down your stiff throat. you just look too tempting; too prissy and uptight to not want to ruin.
you’d hate him for it too. perhaps that’s part of the appeal. you’d spit his cum out and wipe your chin of spittle because you wouldn’t approach someone like him ever, not in a hundred years. girls like you like guys who are all charm. but he also likes to think that you’d pull your skirt up and let him stuff his cock up your cunt anyway, because that’s what ‘can I bum a cig?’ means to someone like simon.
(little does he know, you’re watching him too. but your thoughts are far more depraved)

Whatever you do, do NOT think about bby Wylan age 6 or 7 working all day long on a drawing and running upstairs to his fathers study, hands covered in charcoal and water colors, knocking on the door then opening it because he's to excited to wait, holding up his picture like it's his most precious treasure only for his dad to yell at him to get out to not interrupt him to leave him alone to mumble about his sorry excuse of a son bothering him while his trying to work and Wylan broken hearted running to his room closing the door and slumping up against looking at the blur of colors in from of him not understanding why his father hates him looking at the drawing he spent the day working on painstakingly drawing each line carefully blotting in the colors only to be dismissed like some common pest wiping his tears away holding up the paper grabbing the edges and pulling, ripping, destroying his piece of art crumpling up the remains and throwing them into the corner and moving to collapse on his bed staring out the window to the sun streaked sky vowing that he'll never let his fathers words get to him ever again because that don't matter unless he let's them

I had a thought about something I think Angel would pull during spicy time, which I will hide under a cut
I don't know why, but I can just imagine Angel calling David a 'Good boy' when things are getting hot and heavy. And it can go two ways.
1.) Where things are soft and sweet and intimate and touches are slow and both of their voices are hushed. And Angel whispers it with their lips grazing his neck, or ear or his jaw and David just melts into them and holds them just that much closer.
2.) When things are on the rougher side and Angel gives Davey a cocky little smirk when he hits just the right spot and it comes out as a taunting little purr. And David is going to show them just how 'good' he is

Will was attending the gathering physically, but mentally, he was far beyond no longer there.
Hannibal knew that look well by now, the way the muscles in Will's face found ways to simultaneously go tense and limp. The way he minutely swayed, his body keeping him upright as his mind was no longer sure he was inhabiting a body at all.
Hannibal had only just entered the room, and was ready to make his way over, when he was stopped by shrewd looking woman with an eerily faked friendly smile.
"Pardon me, I just have to ask," she asked, before stepping to his side (with a hand on his shoulder, no less), gesturing off in Will's direction. "What happened to his head?"
Hannibal blinked, turning his gaze to her. "Excuse me?"
"That big scar on his head. I tried to ask him, and he just stopped responding. You live with him, don't you? Do you know?"
Hannibal was thorough about schooling his body language and expression.
"Not the sort of thing he speaks of in a room of strangers, I'm afraid," he answered calmly. "I'm sure he'd be more than happy to discuss it over dinner."
----
Will stepped into the room, still in his sleepwear, gazing in confusion at the body on the table. Hannibal glanced up at him, an amused smile playing at his mouth.
"Didn't think I'd find out from the other room?"
Will looked at him then, his confusion transitioning into something far more tense.
"Didn't think you'd care."
Hannibal paused then, only for a moment, before resuming his action of removing the rude woman's leg for dinner.
"Why is that, may I ask?"
"Would've been enough bodies to meal plan for a month if you cared about everyone that asked the same question she did."
Hannibal looked up then, his movements frozen altogether at the gravity of Will's words.
If you cared about the fact that everyone gets to stare at what you did for the rest of my life.
Will, long past being too tired to discuss Hannibal's little epiphany, turned and left the room, heading back to bed far too early in the evening.

i don't think i'll ever be able to escape The O Face. the first time i saw it i was shocked. afraid. shaking. i never recovered from the horrors. i walk around everyday and i watch as strangers brush by me, and i wonder if they know. i wonder if they are cursed with the knowledge of glennis' O Face. i wonder if they, too, cried when they saw it. i try to forget it, but it comes back to haunt me. what a cruel world.

and it's cold outside, cold and windy and bringing rain up to the broad windows, a cold that thrills you to your bones as you stay safe inside, and the wind rushes past, a stream, a river, and the flood brings leaves and clouds and rain.
and it's nearing midnight again, and October continues on. you can't see through those broad windows; the candle-shaped lightbulbs in the chandelier hide you safe from the storm in the garden.
and your bedroom is the same as ever, plastic stars glowing faintly, and the roof creaks as the wind blows through the arms of your father's radio antenna. it should be spooky - it was, at first - but years and years later, the sound has seeped into your bones and makes you feel alive.
and the overgrown vegetable garden is a slough of wind. it cuts through the ivy-grown gate at the end. the summer's dead pea vines tremble on the chicken wire fence. the magical pond in the back corner has grown to half the size of the side yard.
and you know that when you open the door the next morning, barefoot on the rough driveway to get the mail, the last winds of the storm will bring the smell of pure, clean November into you.

It's amazing that Van Ick has absolutely no reason for hating Wylan and decides that not only is his own SON not good enough, but also his inability to read is a motive to have him assassinated
Does he really think the people around him are gonna forget his constant "Oh don't mind Wylan he's illiterate scum equal only to perhaps, a rat"
Obviously he would have gotten away with killing off his own child because he's rich and Ketterdam is more focused on its own development and creating more lucrative means of enticing tourists in order to gain the most possible profit, than they are on the clearly suspicious death of an elite
But for an entire economy/government based on profit and business ventures that are more often then not, a risk (albeit calculated), where people at least need a hint of open mindedness in order to see beyond the possibility of failure, Van Ick is a hoe the least qualified to run a company not to mention hold a seat on the Merchant Council
The man cannot even see the potential directly under his nose, which is absurd when his son shines so magnificently
Not only is Wylan Van Eck Hendricks incredibly smart, he also continues to hold ambition above and beyond anything his father could begin to imagine
We know Wy is good with numbers, which let's face it, is amazing because unless you're some sort of astrophysicist, math is fucking awful, and being good at it is a blessing
Despite have barely any formal education, save his mother's teaching of the flute, our boy continues to show an expertise in chemistry that holds great potential to be more than just bombs and flash flashbangs, as seen in his development of the Wyvil which held great results even though it had only been recently developed
I don't even have to mention his art skills, especially with schematics which helped allow for the Ice Court Heist in the first place
You don't need to be word smart or even book smart to hold value, yet Van Ick decided that Wylan holds no use for the simple fact he can't read
What a doucheweasel. Blind people can't SEE but does their value decrease? No. Everyone is capable of greatness within their own set of skills but Van Ick is incapable of changing his mind to see his son as anything but a failure since he decreed him as such
This disallowance of change is what inevitably leads to his downfall. Change is essential to advancement (in moderation of course) and denying the potential for that change leads only to destruction
Given time anyone can grow beyond their limitations and succeed beyond expectation
Parents often forget that skills and abilities need time to grow based on each individual, they expect success in all areas immediately (beyond reason ofc) forgetting that perfection is unattainable and learning is always a curve as opposed to the shortest rout of a straight line, forgetting everyone is wired differently and excelling in some areas and struggling with others is normal
Wylan struggling internally with his self worth is a direct result of his father's actions. Support and stability would have allowed him to advance as a child but constantly berating him over one failure over and over until he gave up on himself (although crucial to his specific character development) was unnecessary and harsh
Wy would have bloomed naturally in his own time and would have been the son that any father would have been proud of
Getting away from the toxic relationship the two held gave Wylan that time and allowed him to be exactly what he wanted and needed to be for the Crows to succeed in their plans
Finding his place among them was the best thing that could have happened for him. Wylan has so much light and love to give and him getting that chance was so meaningful not to mention adorable and I'm so glad he found his home because he deserves so much for all he's been through, as much as any of them

Anyone else just wants to smack Connor? First dude ambushes Buck with the donation. He's all "hi haven't seen you in years how about you give you sperm". God herself was telling Buck not to do it but bless his soul, dude is blind and did it anyway. And he's all you won't be involved, you're not the father. And now this man has the audacity to just leave Buck to deal with his very pregnant wife, like her and the baby are somehow Buck's responsibility? "Well, technically." Technically, i would like to throw you off a flight of stairs. My dude??? Shouldn't you have considered the fact that you're insecure about the situation before there was literal baby on the way???? Dude get your head off your ass.

Kinky ramble thing under cut
So I just saw a Tiktok and it mentioned a fire flogger and I've never heard of that. So I look it up. It's an actual thing. The name is pretty literal
And my only thought is of Damien (maybe Vega) using one. On Freelancer or Huxley (or both. I would die if Erik gave us a Damien, Huxley and Listener ba. I love these boys but I feel like a damn voyeur listening to their audios)
But the trust FL and Huxley would have in Damien to do this with them is so there. And it might give Damien some reassurance that his partner(s) aren't afraid of getting a little burned from his passion and it's not gonna scare them away.

i beg of thee to remember while mike’s story is tragic it isn’t a tragedy and that he is meant to learn to love himself and come out victorious. we will see his pain and we will watch him come out of it alive and stronger than when he went in and he will make choices that prevent his own tragedy because he loves his friends and vice versa. there are beautiful beautiful things about mike’s story outside of byler and a lot of it is learning to love and accept himself and break free of that internal prison demanding he be what everybody else expects or wants or needs and there is beauty in his friendships and how they have grown with him. mike’s story is not a tragedy but one of beauty
