Whatever you do, do NOT think about bby Wylan age 6 or 7 working all day long on a drawing and running upstairs to his fathers study, hands covered in charcoal and water colors, knocking on the door then opening it because he's to excited to wait, holding up his picture like it's his most precious treasure only for his dad to yell at him to get out to not interrupt him to leave him alone to mumble about his sorry excuse of a son bothering him while his trying to work and Wylan broken hearted running to his room closing the door and slumping up against looking at the blur of colors in from of him not understanding why his father hates him looking at the drawing he spent the day working on painstakingly drawing each line carefully blotting in the colors only to be dismissed like some common pest wiping his tears away holding up the paper grabbing the edges and pulling, ripping, destroying his piece of art crumpling up the remains and throwing them into the corner and moving to collapse on his bed staring out the window to the sun streaked sky vowing that he'll never let his fathers words get to him ever again because that don't matter unless he let's them

How long does it take you to make one of your multiple Rocky sketches? What's your workflow/process like?

This is a wonderful question!

First, my workflow consists of me starting to draw the sketches immediately after I eat some dinner. I have at least 4 pages that are always ready for the 'line art' stage. I have a rough outline of each sketch in a chunky brush before using a thinner brush.

I do one full page everyday and after that I like to work on my own art for the rest of the day :)) I also take breaks pretty frequently so I don't burn myself out easily. (Or have my hand cramp up)

Second, I think it takes about 2 hours on each page on average, and I like to listen to something familiar while I'm doing it. I get distracted otherwise lol. Some days it's slow, others it's faster, and I flip flop between that daily.

Oof, I just word vomited. Sorry about that! I'm just very enthusiastic about answering this question :))
