But now he’s clutching Forever’s leg as his father tearfully explains the situation to Badboyhalo. He might lose his three other fathers. Or he might lose the one. They promised they would always protect him, why are they leaving him? He wonders if maybe this is what happened before, and he’s going to wake up in another stone cave.

He doesn’t get it, and nobody has the heart to explain.
