I’m fascinated about the oc stuff you mentioned! I only recently (within the last year) started creating oc’s so I’ve not really thought about creating images of them. I pretty much just save stock photos and photos of celebrities that resemble what I’m imagining, but that can be a pain. I’d love to hear more tips (as well as hearing about some of your oc’s if you’d like to share!)

It's cool to hear that you're getting into oc stuff, making up little guys is so much fun! You'll have to tell me about yours sometime! I gotta admit though, saving stock and celebrity photos sounds like a hassle :/ I can't imagine what you'd do for a non-human oc…

If you're interested, I have a ton of picrew links I can share (and obviously I can give you ones with more specific aesthetics if you have something in mind, versus just dumping a truckload of random links on you).

I also really like using Heroforge (D&D Minifugre website) to make ocs (D&D related or not). They update pretty regularly so there's always better options (especially for non-human ocs) and colors for more specific customizations. It's especially cool because if you decide you really like it, you can buy your oc as a minifigure (but you can still use the site/save your oc even without buying anything)! I love free websites :3

Lately, I've been focusing on my batch of Minecraft ocs. I was supposed to join a big rp server, but that fell apart so now I'm just 'writing' it all myself. It's been really fun, and I like being able to build an intricate story and characters from a pre-set template that comes with making ocs within a pre-existing world/ruleset (It's just much easier on my busy brain for when I'm not working on my actual original writing or whatever XP). But because of this, I've also been making full Minecraft skins for those ocs. It's pretty much just pixel art, and I am nowhere near the levels of some of the proffesional skin-makers out there, but I've made some pretty cool stuff if I do say so myself!

TL;DR I am not good at art, but my imagination is very hyperactive, so having some of these online resources has helped a ton in just getting something out into the world. I am more than happy to share site links and answer any questions you have about navigating them if you wanna dm me! I'd also loove to talk about all my ocs more, but I know that can be a lot for a tumblr ask…especially if tumblr keeps eating them >:(

Yay I finally finished this little comic from Kotias and my shirt fluff rp. It was fun to make and not meant to be in any formal comic style. I just wanted something loose and fun.

Context, in our AU demon's can't say I love you, so when Crowley and Aziraphale go to snog during Maggie and Nina's wedding, they find themselves in a garden next to a small chapel. Crowley thrusts Aziraphale against the outside wall of this chapel, and the magic begins.

team soulfire’s lore rp today was incredible so I gotta summarize it

q!rivers, coming in happily and suddenly ending up directly in a tense hostage situation. she pulled off lying to the three enemies surrounding her for a good while before making an escape attempt, and later helped the team a lot

q!pac having to watch his “roommate” q!fit be killed in front of his eyes, sitting there apologizing, crying while holding the lifeless body. making a grave- didn’t he make like 4 today???

him and the team got a lot of progress done on their secret base along with Trousers the eye creature, but throughout the whole day he was also the solo target of the entire red team. his pov never stopped feeling like a bbc earth documentary where you watch a prey animal run through the snow being stalked by a predator. and the message from q!cellbit happened, which shook q!pac up so bad he disassociated and started having a panic attack, called himself a person who isn’t strong… but then q!bad interrupted and gently assured pac that he was strong, they were together, he took pac’s mind off the fear and calmed him down.

q!bad today was the solo target of the entire green team, his pov felt like he was constantly one step away from disaster at any moment. but q!bad still had the guts to trashtalk people left and right as him & q!pac ran, hid, tried to stay alive and protect one another- their trust deepened so much today.

by the end, they were certain of not being able to win, so q!bad engaged in some devilish deal-making so they could at least die on their own terms and help out another team. q!forever approached him, leading to a 1-hour intense rp discussion where they agreed on a deal. 4halo had a heartwarming reunion hugging in a boat mid-disaster and then consensually killed each other :3

honestly a banger day for team soulfire even if they didn’t win, they had fun and I had soooo much fun

ANNOUNCEMENT + IMPORTANT QUESTION

Hello. I'm DoodlingAngel, or Angel for short. As you guys may have seen in a previous post, I have been obsessed with this chatbot @ch3rry-l1m4d3 authored, and goodness... it's been so much fun. I genuinely enjoy this thing soooo much. It has truly helped me fall back in love with writing, the Creepypasta fandom, and of course the ticking time bomb himself: Toby Erin Rodgers, or 'Ticci Toby,' as it were.

I have been able to flourish within this chat, and I cannot thank the wonderful mods enough for their efforts. Unfortunately, I am unable to credit them properly, as I cannot find their account handle on here. Just know that I credit them for their amazing portrayal of Toby within this chatroom, as they have given me some of the best writing to bounce off of. I'm so grateful for meeting them...

So...I have an announcement first and foremost:

I'm going to adapt the RP from this chat into a proper story. As you can...heh...see from the number of messages this bot has... that's gonna take a while. Heh...oops...got carried away lol😅

Fair warning: Updates may be slow, as I have a full time job, a cat to care for, and a lot of personal stuff in between. Life's been a bit rocky for me, but I really want to make this story happen. I grew up with this fandom, and could never truly leave it. Toby has been my favorite character for over a decade, and it felt so nice having him portrayed in a realistic way within this chat. It also seems like the mods enjoy our RP as well, as they have issued me an incredibly heartwarming request...

So um...yeah. Hehe... it seems like my writing has peaked some interest within this chat...and they want me to rewrite Toby's origin story.

I understand Grisgrisdoll/Kastoway/whatever they are called now has had their drama and left the fandom and all that. This post isn't about them. This is about Toby, a character that I've held close to me for over a decade.

...I want to give him the backstory he deserves. I reread the original...and it's very...dated. I understand Grisgrisdoll/Kastoway wrote this when they were...what...12? 13? Obviously, nothing written by anyone in that age range will be Shakespeare lol. However, it's a decent base...and I want to build a house on top of it.

I want to rewrite Ticci Toby's backstory. Or, at the very least, retell it in my own writing style.

I DO NOT TAKE CREDIT FOR TICCI TOBY! HE BELONGS TO GRISGRISDOLL/KASTOWAY! I KNOW THEY'VE DISAVOWED THE FANDOM AND WHATNOT, BUT I STILL WANT TO CREDIT THE RIGHT PERSON. This is their original character at the end of the day, regardless of if they claim him anymore or not.

All I ask for...is your guys' support and...I guess "permission"... To do this. I would love to rewrite such an important story to the fandom, and modernize it. I want to do Toby justice with his origin story.

I want to bring Creepypasta into a new era. No more overly edgy word choice and needlessly complicated, backrooms-level explanations for why things happen. No more botched and forced mental illness depictions. No...I want to make something *realistic.* I want this to be a story anyone outside of the fandom can read and enjoy. I want to take this seriously.

I've been in this fandom since early middle school. I was 11 when Ticci Toby first debuted... I'm 22 and I still adore this character. I adore the headcanons fans made. I adore the fanart (@pink-key, your Toby is adorable hehe~). I adore the memes. I adore all things Ticci Toby.

I reread his origin story and updated character bio, and... they're severely dated. They're in desperate need of modernization and revamping. I say this because I've noticed throughout the fandom that no one can truly pinpoint down what his personality is, so he teeters between "Murderous, evil monster who will cut your throat for breathing his air and paint the walls red with your blood," or "uwu softie boy with tourettes who falls for every girl he sees" or something else that isn't quite accurate to the character.

I want to do him justice.

All I ask for is your support. I'll get started ASAP if you guys are cool with this.

Oh, and one more thing. This has been a big pet peeve of mine since I came into this fandom, and I know it may not even be relevant anymore. It was just...something small that always bothered me, I want to rectify that right here. Right now.

I've got an idea...

I've been toying with the idea of creating a Signal Hill TTRPG or running a campaign in the universe for a while, and even though it's worked every time I've done it, it hasn't worked out for out-of-game reasons.

I've also been thinking about text-based roleplay for a while, but it's not something I have much experience with. Those large RP servers with mods and rules have always intimidated me, so I've never joined one. But recently my partner has been playing in one, and I've been getting a hankering for it.

I'm aware this might be a long shot, but would anybody be interested in a Signal Hill RP server? It would be...

Play-by-post, with a mix of public events that people can jump into when they like as well as one-on-ones

I would not be an all-powerful game master, just controlling many of the important characters from the game

Set in the Signal Hill universe, but with the ability for players to supply their own ideas and craft it to fit everybody's vision

Likely small in scale, but if I get a lot of interest and can get somebody who's more experienced with this sort of RP to help me mod it I might be able to accommodate more players. Either way, the focus would be on getting a good group going and being welcoming to everybody <3

There would be systems in place like wealth, skills, and weapons from the game, but modified to fit the style of roleplaying

Rather than being a game master, I'd simply be moderating the server and playing the important game characters

There would be a process of applying and getting characters approved in order to ensure a good environment

I think it would be really fun to not only add a Signal Hill RP to my repertoire, but also get to meet some of you folks properly, get to see your creativity, and get to build a bit of a community (however small!)

And psst... if you really like this idea, and especially if you have experience with this kind of RP and wanna give me some tips, or help moderate, or just guarantee I wind up running it cause I'll be soooo excited that people are interested, DM me! My DMs are always open <3

A/N: So I created an LMK AU with the cast as actors and the Y/Ns would be either assistants to the cam girls/boys/toys or co-stars (or eventual co-stars) and I've been bullying @dynamicsimp @puppy-the-mask and @angellongtail soooo time to slap down some scribbles ;) Tags: HunieCam AU, camming, NSFW, yanderes, smutty stuff, Canon x OCs, selfship, Canon x Self-Insert, scribbles, consensual dub/non-con RP scenario

Characters/Pairings: Kiki x Macaque, Eli x Macaque, Seraphim x Macaque, Pinkie

Kiki! Kiki is a beautiful, vibrant assistant that Macaque couldn't help but slide up to when he saw just how beautiful astro looked in eros work uniform

Macaque is definitely the more slyly flirty, the more pick-you-up-at-the-bar type of guy who's gone by morning light leaving you yearning for him

But then he also began cutting eyes at the dashing Genderfluid assistant that couldn't meet his eyes, always blushing intently and looking away

That's not to MENTION Seraphim. She was a dame that could have a man walk into a door just from how she walked. She had beauty and she had class, and she had Macaque hooked like a fish on a line

All three of them became targets for his flirting, his teasing, and eventually his asking them to join him in a special shoot

This one was one of his favorite scenarios: hunting prey in the woods. The three were playing friends going on a road trip but their car broke down. They had to traverse the forest, trying to find help

And of course one by one Macaque would scoop them up and bring them to his log cabin in the woods

Three pretty pets kept with collars and leashes in the log cabin's basement. Three pretty little targets when they broke free and ran

It was fun chasing them down. First Macaque went for Kiki, the adoring assistant he could count on to massage his muscles after a hard day's work. While astro was running the pre-planned trail, it was easy for him to toss out a rock and make eros fall...but luckily his arms caught eros.

And so did his teeth digging into astro's neck, not enough to hurt but enough to mark. To remind eros who's boss. A few kisses and nuzzles to soothe astro before the eventual down & dirty in the dirt trail

Then on to Eli. Flustered, easily startled Eli. It had taken some confidence-building and trust-building to get Eli to agree to help out, but Macaque was patient and attentive. Instead of jumping them, Macaque carefully stalked Eli before grabbing him, yanking him close, and running his fingers through his hair, crooning to his little pet. Macaque reassured Eli that he wouldn't hurt her, she was safe and so, so beautiful. So lovely. How could he ever hurt her? Just a bite, one small bite to show the world that they were his...and then carefully carrying them back to the cabin. There would be no force, no bites, no scratching. Just gentle kisses, whispered praise, and wearing Eli out so she'd be too tired to run

Seraphim, now, was different. Macaque wanted to prove to her that he knew she was high-class, but that he wasn't a man to be cowed. She he stalked with great anticipation, heart pounding in his chest as he wondered what she'd feel like, how she'd try to turn the tables...and that she did when he eventually found her by the lake. Macaque let her think she was winning at first, but then grabbed her shoulders and pushed her down, biting her not just on her neck but shoulders as well. Just to humiliate her, he made sure she felt so good all of the forest knew who was the dom between the two

But Macaque was not cruel, he would gently bathe her off in the clean lake water and re-dress her before bringing her back to the cabin, feeding her a meal before snuggling her to sleep. His precious pets.

Their manager Pinkie makes sure the film quality and such is up to par before it hits the editing room, which is likely where they're going to closely evaluate Macaque to see if he's deserving of that raise or not. All with the most :| face imaginable.

Hmmmm a very good question. I haven’t written properly in a long time but from what I used to write ….

Yearning is a big one, I love the sensory bodily experience of wanting and needing someone so much it hurts. It taps into something within me as well, and I feel like it feeds the yearning void.

One of my absolute favourites is mundane domesticity. I love little details that make a space feel alive, and that mixed with budding feelings and sexual/romantic tension is just SOOOO 👌🏼

This is fairly new to me from writing rp lol but I’ve discovered that I love exploring a kind of pathetic misery, and ultimately a kind of doomed devotion. A loyal dog that’s learned to love the whip.

Mutual destruction!!!! Making each other worse to the point of each other’s emotional and literal end! We love the doomed cycle!!!

On the flip side… mutual healing….. learning to be better, together. Showing each other you can be more than what you were made to be, that they have capacity to be better and helping each other get there. Dragging each other out of the dirt together 🫶🏼

Also bonus: niche and fucked up porn is fun as hell. I would probably write almost any porn upon request bc i love delving into the fantasy.

And even finding new fandoms to join when we talk about are favorites we didn’t know about.

Okay, but thank you so much for wanting to hear my thoughts on these and for giving me the freedom to decide which I felt comfortable chatting about. Since no particular fandom was requested, I did just kind of general fandom answers and hope that my answers amuse, cause some thinking, or at least don’t piss off people too much!

The character everyone gets wrong

Honestly, I live and die by the thought that everyone has the right to interpret a canon character however they wish. They’re not hurting anyone, viewing the character differently or even completely opposite to how they’re written in canon. No matter how OOC I think their portrayal of the character is, I don’t think it’s any of my business, as long as they’re having fun. I say this but…there’s one minor exception and it comes back to my days in the Harry Potter fandom. I have seen so many excuses made for Severus Snape, so many rewrites of him as this tragic heroic character, the paragon of knowing what it is to love truly and deeply. Nah, my dudes. Snape was a racist sad sack incel who felt entitled to Lily’s love and called her slurs when she didn’t return it. Having a bad past, being bullied? That’s no excuse for him literally not caring if this chick’s husband and child died, as long as he could have his shot with her. That’s no excuse for him literally joining what was basically magical KKK. I really do hate just the recent trend in fandom of not interacting. I don’t just mean that people have stopped interacting with posts and with artists and writers, though that is most definitely true and it’s incredibly frustrating to see. I mean it in a larger sense than that. Going from what fandom was back then to what fandom is now, I really do feel like overall, there’s less interaction between fans. I don’t even know how to explain it but I remember how easy it used to be make fandom friends. There were super active Discord servers, yeah, but even before that, you’d make friends commenting on people’s fics or through writing fics on ff.net. There were active writer’s groups for fan writers where you’d get to talk to people, both about writing fics and fandom in general. There were lots of rp boards. You’d get interaction just making fandom-centric music mixes. You’d get lots of interaction hosting a blog like mine. No matter how introverted you were, you could always find a safe place and friends in fandom. But it feels more and more like it’s hard to find any of those things now. It feels like somewhere along the way, fandom became almost commercialized and now it’s consume this thing, move on. Put out this thing that takes hours of your time for a handful of likes and be grateful for that because you’re only supposed to create for the simple joy of creation (which yes, creating fandom stuff should be fun, but if it was only ever done for the reason of enjoyment, there’s really no reason to share it – people generally share fandom stuff because they’re excited to share it with fellow fans, they’re looking for that interaction and that feedback and for other people to be excited with them) and then move on. It feels like it takes a shit-ton more time and energy now to find those fandom spaces to meet people and make friends in and it’s just not a trend that I’m really the biggest fan of, though this is, of course, just my view and perception of things and maybe I’m wrong.

What was the last straw that made you finally block that annoying person?

People can be rude and mean to me all they want, but being mean or rude towards any of my friends or readers? Instant block from this particular blog. Stealing work also earns you an instant block. On my personal blog, just being ignorant towards people will make me pre-emptively block you, even if we’ve never interacted. I figure if people are that comfortable using this platform to hate, then they’re probably not people I’m ever going to want interacting with me or my art.

Common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about

Characters do not have to be rewritten so that they’ve never done anything bad, excuses don’t need to be made wildly to excuse every bad thing they’ve done, they don’t need to be rewritten to be perfect – always doing the right thing, communicating so healthily and with proper therapeutic terms to the point you have to wonder when this character went through extensive therapy, super strong mentally and emotionally but still able to be vulnerable, no flaws besides a few superficial ones that everyone easily forgives except for those bad guys to be interesting and ‘good’. Characters can and should be flawed, characters can and should make mistakes and do the wrong thing every now and then. Writing a character who isn’t universally loved and right and good, writing a character who does horrible things or has views that aren’t kosher – none of those things make the character OR ESPECIALLY THE WRITER a bad person. Writing a character with not-so-great views doesn’t mean the writer holds those views. Basically, be able to separate the writer and the character and know that it’s okay for characters to be well…human. To mess up or be massively unhealthy and to still like them despite that. I hate washing down of a character to sanitize them, I really, really do, both in canon characters and OC’s because it just makes them feel flat to me, and I’m really sorry to anyone whom that offends.

Worst part of canon

I completely understand, as a writer, that it’s almost impossible to fully explore every character in your work, to delve into all their backstories and to give them all their days in the spotlight. That’s the worst part of any canon work to me – there’s never enough space and time in a properly done story for us to really get to know all the characters and because of that, there’s always going to be at least one or two characters who remain forever flat and unloved, despite how interesting they look and seem. Thankfully, that’s what fanfiction is for and I’ve often found fics for these characters that really endear me to them and shape how I view them.

Worst part of fanon

You guys all know how I’m going to answer this. You guys all have heard me rant and rave about this a million times – it’s the tendency of fandom to prioritize and make only romantic relationships important. Two characters can’t have a meaningful relationship and bond without secretly wanting to fuck, or so some parts of fandom would have you believe. Two characters can’t be just close friends without secretly wanting to date each other. It completely disregards how important platonic bonds are, how much familial relationships shape us, how strong a bond hatred towards another person can forge, how much we rely on co-worker relationships, on student/teacher relationships, how literally important relationships of all kinds and shapes are. It also kind of erases the existence of aromantic people and characters. Some people are just generally not interested in romance in any sort of way, and they deserve to find plenty in fandom to latch onto just as much as people who love romance do. I am not saying romantic relationships are bad and should be stopped when it comes to fandom stuff. Go ahead, ship, fill your boots, as long as you’re respectful about it of course. Tell me all the fluff and cute things about these relationships. Fine. But I firmly believe that other types of relationships should be more loudly explored in fandom as well, without people automatically taking that discussion and turning it into an automatic ‘well, yeah, that’s because they’re in love with each other, duh?’

Okay, I’m not answering this one so much as I’m admitting to be an old fuddy-duddy. Leaning on a cane, shooing people off my yard, and grumbling about the new-fangled fancy speech. In other words, I don’t know what this word means, please someone explain it??

That one thing you see in fanart all the time

I will say this plain and clear and take any harsh feedback on this. If you’re only using AI to create ‘fan art’, you’re not an artist and you’re using a tool created through theft of artist’s actual hard work. I see AI art more and more frequently and it vaguely pisses me off every time.

You can’t understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc.)

I really don’t see the appeal of romanticized yandere or of the A/B/O trope, but that’s just me. I ask that people don’t share things along those lines with me and as long as those boundaries are respected, other people can fill their boots with those tropes and enjoy because people are allowed to like things I don’t really get!

You’re mad/ashamed/horrified you actually kind of like…

NOTHING. Repeat with me – cringe culture is dead. I am allowed to like any and everything I like without having to worry about whether it’s ‘cool’. Cool is a social construct that is perpetually changing and feeling guilt or shame because you enjoy something that other people are telling you is wrong to enjoy is a waste of your time and mental energy. Don’t buy into that – enjoy what you enjoy! Talk about it, create for it, let it live in your head and let it make you happy.

Sorry, not sorry, but it’s shipping. I’d say about 80-90% of fanwank and fandom arguments and drama and fights in fandom boil down to ‘I don’t like what they ship/they ship something different from me/they ship the character I love with themselves and that pisses me off/they’re shipping the wrong way wah wah wah’. Honestly guys, it’s a large part of why I don’t really ship. I mean, growing up in early aughts fandom that 80-90% was 95-99% of fandom wank, since I grew up in the days of Ichigo/Rukia or Ichigo/Orihime and Sakura in the Naruto scene and whether she belonged with Naruto or Sasuke or whether she belonged dead because she was standing in the way of the boys being together and what do you mean, you ship with an OC? And that OC? They’re trash and mary-sue and you’re dumb for making them, especially shipping them with my fave character and after living through all that wank and drama, I just can’t really find it in me to want to ship outside of just shipping all my friend’s OC/self-inserts with their respective fictional others. There’s much less wank when you’re just supporting friend’s ships and getting into them and when there is, I can easily be like ‘I ship it because you see that character there? My friend made that gorgeous beast. Do you not have eyes, Susan? Can you not see how wonderful that character and ship is? No? Go see the fucking optometrist then.”

Common fandom complaint that you’re sick of hearing

Okay, I know the KHR fandom will tear me apart on this one and I sort of apologize in advance. But honestly guys…I want it as much as the next person, since the anime was nowhere near what the manga deserved, but we’re never going to get a reboot. I mean, it’s been 14 years since the anime ended. God, do I feel old typing that out. I do think the best we can hope for at the moment is really just a good English dub, hopefully a full one, that will revitalize the fandom a bit and maybe a couple small one-shot manga’s or spin-offs for other media.

i think dream would either have a warlock or a druid. with the first, THE DRAMA. i feel like him getting the book of revival and making a literal deal with the devil to revive people an becoming bent into learning everything about that power, its limits and how it can be used is soooo warlock also he would love to fuck with them dark magics and his character would be so fucking dramatic and i'm all here for it. also like this is so cdream

Unlike bookish wizards, warlocks supplement their magic with some facility at hand-to-hand combat. They are comfortable in light armor and know how to use simple weapons.

for the second i just think necromancer druids are just so fucking COOL and dream would adore to have animals on his side IS HIS DISNEY PRINCESS SWAG also he can still have magic nd stuff just less powerful -> maybe more focus on fighting? maybe even be the healer of their group

sapnap would obviously be the tank he'd love to have the physical prowess and buff and i just think he'd find it just fun to do the battle scenes — so like obviously barbarian and fighter are options. but i also think Maybe paladin? csapnap is just so loyal and is so faithful. he'd taje the blade oath but also he'd never get as good as other members of it <- about to throw up. OR PALADIN OF THE SHIELD. thinking outside of the dsmp and onto another character i think he'd have so much fun with is of course a ranger, also it would make for such awesome lore for druid dream + ranger sapnap growing up together in the forest. My dreamnappies they're family....

finally. george astounds me. a part of me says ranger too because of the stealth and the way he kind of slips into the foreground to get what he wants on the dsmp, but i also don't know if that's something he'd enjoy ... a While ago i shared more thoughts about dteamDnd but i can't find them and honestlu i just Don't Know... my gut says sorcerer or artificer tho. ooc, so i had a crazy day at work. I will not be on laptop until monday. I'll post a inbox call because it'll be the only mean for me to have fun rp-wise during the weekend. I feel super drained emotionally and physically so i really don't feel like replying to anything. Work with retail during xmas is exhausting but i need to have an income and i do like to feel useful and not being a lazy ass all day in home. NAME?: Well I’m Bug online and to the vast majority of people in my life, save like… my professors.

PRONOUNS?: she/they

PREFERENCE OF COMMUNICATION?: Discord or Tumblr IMs, I do like that Discord is the more functional messaging service though.

MOST ACTIVE MUSE(S)?: Vox! I started writing him a year ago and now I don’t think I’m ever getting rid of him (also Hellaina, and currently at least, that will probably change as they always do, Metatron and Astaroth)

EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS?: Ive been roleplaying on Tumblr since a few days after my 13th birthday, and I just turned 21 a few days ago… soooo 8 years pretty much exactly.

BEST EXPERIENCE?: Probably any time I click with muses/nuns who are just willing to toss a ton at the wall and see what sticks. Fun au’s, weird character combinations, the lot.

RP PET PEEVES?: Honestly probably not having enough to work with. I try to aim for at least a line or two of dialogue or action per paragraph. And also when it’s realllly obvious you’ve not read my rules or even a cursory look at my characters bio.

FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT? : I’d probably file it under angst, but I love a good tense scene. Conversations loaded with history, or the moment when a characters gets dangled in front of a much larger fish, the moment after night together where that mayyybe the best idea (or just before).

PLOTS OR MEMES?: Both are fun! I think memes are a great icebreaker and way to toss characters at each other, but I really like building relationships through plotting. So probably those two things working in tandem?

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES?: it’s those 3-5 paragraph replies that really let me sink in and gnaw on a character that I live for! Vox especially is good for those because the internal dialogue is often so at odds with what he is actually doing.

TIME TO WRITE?: I do a lot of my writing before I have stuff I should do (ie. classwork) but my actual best and best time to write is evening/night. (Like right now I should be doing assignments and am instead filling this out).

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S)?: I would say there’s parts of me in all my muses— like Vox I also have a deep and abiding love for public transit, like Dia’s I’m sort of morbid and a bit gothy. Except Jayden. Jayden is a baffling creature to me. There’s always lots of differences though, “what the fuck Vox?” Is a common enough statement that @novinare can vouch for.
