The Vizsla-Maul arc was as brilliant as it was petty. Pre-cum Vizsla saves Maul and his brother. In exchange, Maul takes control of his entire operation. Pre-cum doesn't like that so he blames the invasion on him, and Maul hates him so he kills him and takes his throne secretly. The Mandalorians have no idea.

Maul and The Darksaber. (Where did it end up and how’d he get it back?)

A quick breakdown, analysis, and theory. 

Maul gets the Darksaber after killing Pre Vizsla in Season 5 of The Clone Wars.

After that it becomes his primary weapon. We last see it on screen when he uses it to kill Satine. Also in Season 5 of The Clone Wars. 

But that is the last time we see it on screen until it appears in Rebels. When he fights Ahsoka in season 7 of The Clone Wars, he’s back to using his red sabers. 

So, what happened to the Darksaber and why did he stop using it. 

Well…here’s my findings. 

The Clone Wars Season 5 Episode 16, The Lawless (the last time we see Maul with the Darksaber on screen) is followed by the Comic, Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir and in that we see Maul using the Darksaber as his primary weapon. 

This panel here is the last time we ever see Maul holding the Darksaber. 

He uses it in the final fight on Dathomir, but when Mother Talzin is in danger he rushes to aide her. In the next panel, the Darksaber is gone. 

I have gone over these panels and I can not see the Darksaber anywhere. It’s not in his hand, it’s not on the floor, and it’s not clipped to his belt. It just vanishes. 

Then, he is flung into his ship and dragged away before he can get back. I can’t see the Darksaber in any of these panels. 

Did Maul just drop the Darksaber? Is that what happened? He just dropped it by accident and never got a chance to pick it up?

The next time we see the Darksaber (In season 3 of Rebels), it’s still on Dathomir, so maybe in the rush of the battle, it got forgotten and no one thought to grab it. Meaning it’s still there waiting for him when he returns home?

Clancy Brown voices Savage Oppress in Star Wars the Clone Wars and Ryder Azadi in Star Wars Rebels and he voice Hades in God of War III and because they are truly connected and so Savage Oppress was Darth Maul's Brother and the son of Mother Talzin that Mace Windu fight against her and because he tried to captures Maul in the Son of Dathomir and Ryder Azadi was the formerly Governor of Lothal and he was the friend of Ephraim and Mira Bridger and After the Battle of Endor, he tried to convince Ezra, the son of Ephraim and Mira, to return on Lothal because their people were worried for him for Four years After Ezra frees Lothal and because Maul wanted Ezra as his Apprentice that was happened in Bad Batch, twenty-three years ago when he was on Lothal After Mandalore.

In God of War, Hades and Zeus were Brothers and so Hades was the uncle of Kratos(that he was voices by TC Carson that he voice Mace Windu in Clone Wars).

Darth Maul tried to convince Dooku(that he was voices by Corey Burton that he voices Zeus in God of War) to be ally in the son of Dathomir
