YOUR SIBLINGS POST HAS 15K NOTES?? back when I reblogged it it was only at like 30 notes you've become mildly famous
Currently at 14.8k and counting, though my notifs finally seem to have calmed down. Not entirely, but it's a lot more manageable. I can see people interacting with my other posts now!
Also damn, mildly famous! It is kinda hard to comprehend that my post I made because I was frustrated over my relationship with my little sister is now on over 5000 other blogs. Like. That is a lot of places. Lot of tears, too. Sorry to everyone I made cry. And to everyone crying into their noodles specifically.
Congratulations for being one of the first to interact with it! You were there at it's very beginning and now can see what it has become. But yeah this was entirely unexpected and out of nowhere so I'm not sure what to do with this. Nevertheless!
giving you a sticker for being there since the beginning in my mind rn <3

Thanksgiving Liars (Rooster x Reader)
Part of The What If Collection of blurbs for Roo and Baby Girl. My masterlist. Banner by @mak-32
Warnings: language, fluff
Tumblr media
After you ended the call, you tossed your phone aside and looked at Bradley as he cradled you on his lap. "Do you think they fell for it?" you asked him.
"Gullible," he replied with a nod. "They're all so fucking gullible."
You erupted into laughter as he rolled you onto your back on the couch. "They aren't going to know what hit them. Planning a whole entire wedding in just two months? They will all be shocked."
Bradley kissed you and guided your arms above your head, pinning them gently to the cushion. "We intive them for Thanksgiving dinner, wine and dine them with your incredible cooking, and then... Bam! Welcome to our wedding, suckers."
You couldn't stop laughing as he kissed you and teased you with his nose everywhere. "Our moms will both cry," you giggled. "Your dad will think it's great that we decided to get married in a parking lot, and my dad will ask if we're hurting for money for the exact same reason."
Bradley pressed his lips to your ear and whispered, "It makes me wild that you thought of it in the first place. Right there in the spot where we had our first kiss is absolutely where we should get married."
"I agree."
He ran his fingers along your arm, and you snuggled against him as he said, "You've been working so hard, Baby Girl. I know what getting another promotion means to you, and I'm already proud. But thank you for agreeing to get married this year."
"Hey," you replied softly, taking his chin in your hand. "I want to marry you, Roo. More than anything. And this is going to be perfect."
--------------------------
Bradley was practically cackling as you and he cleaned up the plates after Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone was still mulling over glasses of wine and the promise of dessert when the two of you slipped into the kitchen.
"They are oblivious," he said, setting some dishes in the sink while you pumped your fist silently in the air.
"They have absolutely no idea!" you hissed. "Your mom thinks you're going to teach her how to surf tomorrow."
"I don't even fucking know how to surf!"
Bradley watched you double over in quiet yet hysterical laughter as you gripped the edge of the counter for support. "That's why it's so funny!"
He had to press his fist against his lips to keep silent as he heard your dad and Nat laughing about something in the dining room. Your wedding dress was hanging in the bedroom closet, and so was his outfit. But everyone else would be arriving to the beach parking lot tomorrow thinking they'd been invited to hang out all afternoon and evening. "This was the best idea you've ever had," Bradley said as you stood again with tears in your eyes, and you wrapped him up in a hug.
"I can't wait! Now let's get these pies out there and get this show on the road."
But you and he both burst out into another round of stifled laughter before you were able to keep it together long enought to get the desserts on the table.
"Hey, what time should we all meet at the beach tomorrow?" Nat asked as she helped herself to nearly half of the apple pie.
"Around 3:00," you and Bradley replied at the same time. The plan was that you'd fake a stomach ache and skip the lunch plans with your parents and his so you could get changed into your dress. Bradley would entertain everyone without you before telling them to change at the hotel and meet at the beach which was right across the street. It was flawless. Inspired. All courtesy of your breautiful brain.
"We'll have dinner on the beach and watch the sunset," you added. "It'll be great."
Bradley watched his mom stand up from the table and immediately give you a hug. "Dinner was perfect, my sweet girl. Thank you for such a beautiful day, I don't know what could beat it! But I'm going to take Goose back to the hotel before he falls asleep."
Sure enough, Bradley's dad looked like he was about to doze off in a turkey induced coma at the table while everyone else around him chatted.
You kissed Carole's cheek and said, "See you tomorrow," with a secret glint in your eye before turning toward Bradley.
When everyone was gone, he left the mess in the kitchen; he would clean it up later. "Can I take you to bed now?" he asked as he followed you down the hallway.
But you stopped in the doorway. "About that... shouldn't you sleep in the other bedroom? It's supposed to be bad luck to see each other."
Bradley laughed, but you did look kind of serious. "Oh, you're not joking." When you shrugged in response, he said, "All I've had is good luck since I met you, Sweetheart. The best luck."
"You almost died when you were deployed," you deadpanned.
"And luckily you were here to nurse me back to perfect health with your love," he replied easily. Then he sighed when you didn't laugh. "If you want me to, I'll go sleep in the other room."
You chewed on your lip and crossed and then uncrossed your arms. You shuffled your feet and groaned. "It'll feel like you're deployed again, and I don't like that. So nevermind." You took him by the hand and led him to bed where he stayed with you all night.
-----------------------
You thought you'd be a little nervous, but you weren't. You thought you might feel a little self-conscious in your wedding dress, but you didn't. When you pulled into the parking lot in your shitty, red car, Bradley was already there, and you gasped as you looked at him, somehow more handsome than ever before.
"Sweetheart," he sighed when he opened your door and reached out to help you stand. You could tell he had some tears gathering in his eyes, but you knew you did, too. You went right into his arms as he said, "You're beautiful." Then your lips met his as you both stood in that empty parking spot between the two vehicles, where you'd shared your first kiss. Thousands of kisses later, it was the spot where you and he would make your forever promises to each other.
"You'll end up wearing my lipstick," you whispered, breaking the kiss briefly before he chased you down for more.
"I don't care."
The two of you were fully making out, your fingers in his hair as you moaned his name, when Maverick arrived on that ancient motorcycle. He whistled as he removed his helmet. "Want me to come back later?" he joked.
"Absolutely not, Uncle Mav," Bradley told him. "I want to get married as soon as possible."
You smiled up at Bradley and tried to wipe your lipstick from his face with your thumbs as Maverick went over the short ceremony he had planned. He was your only accomplice today. He knew the truth where everyone else only knew the Thanksgiving lie. "Sound good?" he asked with his signature smile.
"Sounds perfect," you told him, kissing his cheek and leaving another smudge behind.
Bradley had his chin resting on your shoulder as said, "It's almost 3:30. And oh shit, look. Here they come."
You turned to toward the hotel, and you saw all four parents in their beach going attire as they crossed the street at the crosswalk. Your mom saw you first and froze on the sidewalk as she shook your dad's arm. Then you heard Carole scream, "She's wearing her wedding dress! The dress we helped her pick out in Maryland!" Goose must have slept off his turkey stupor, because he was the first one to make his way past the Bronco to where the two of you were standing in his loud, tropical print shirt.
Goose had his son in his arms, slapping him on the back and then rubbing rough circles while they shared a whispered conversation that you knew was too private for you to hear. But it didn't matter, because Carole was screeching her way toward you.
"I knew it! I knew it from the first time he mentioned you that you'd get married," she said, pulling you into her arms. She kissed your cheek seven times before she said. "The way my Bradley talked about you made me so hopeful for his future, and I just knew you'd be his wife. But I didn't know it would be today! I'm wearing a bathing suit!"
You laughed and said, "Surprise!" just as your parents reached you.
Your mom had tears on her cheeks as she said, "I don't appreciate being lied to, but this is okay."
Your dad pulled you in for a hug and asked, "Are you getting married in the parking lot? If you needed money, you could have asked."
Your laughter rang out, and Bradley looked at you as you said, "My dad wants to know if we're getting married in the parking lot."
"Yes, we definitely are," Bradley replied as Carole sobbed against his chest. "This parking spot is where she kissed me for the first time. It was perfect. I was already half in love, and that threw me over the edge."
You could feel the heat rising in your face as a chorus of 'Aww!' came from everyone around you while Bradley smiled. And then the cars started pulling in. Nat was hanging out the window yelling when she saw you, and Jake drove right over some of the orange cones that had the far entrance blocked off. The commotion got louder and louder as all of your friends arrived, jostling you around in their excitement.
"What a pair of sneaky liars!" Jake shouted in just his board shorts. "We're all going to look like a bunch of idiots in your wedding photos."
"You'd have looked that way regardless," Bradley told him as he pulled you closer. His brown eyes were wide and hopeful as you wrapped your arms around his neck. "Everyone's here, Baby Girl. You ready to do this thing?"
You nodded and pecked him on the cheek. All of your friends were chattering and already taking pictures. Your parents were holding hands and smiling. Carole and Goose were looking at you like you were the best thing they'd ever seen in their lives. And Maverick was waiting quietly.
"Yes. I'm ready, Roo," you promised, and he ran his thumb along your cheek as he whispered your name.
"Okay, Mav," he rasped without taking his eyes off your face. "Make her my wife."

shy reader and lip are my favorite. but i was thinking maybe she’s like that because of family? they’re mean to her so it’s better for her to keep to herself and she doesn’t tell lip anything until he sees it for himself
thank you for the request, anon! I'm thinking northside!reader for this one
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
We're walking to my house, the thin layer of snow crunching beneath our feet. Although I'm thankful that my private school allows long pants in the winter time, and that we're provided with a thick knit sweater as a part of our uniform options, I'm still freezing. I don't know how Lip does it. He seems just fine with his jeans and layered flannel.
"You cold?" He breaks the comfortable silence, and I nod, knowing that if I speak, my teeth will clatter together. He pulls me into him, his arm wrapping around my shoulder. It's nice, just the two of us and the snow. It's quiet and peaceful.
We reach my front door and I unlock it, inviting Lip inside. He takes his shoes off and follows me into my bedroom, where he sits on my bed. It's not our usual routine. Normally I prefer going to his house, but my family was going to be home early because of some special news coming from Harvard University for my sister. Lip decided yesterday he would spend time with me until he had to sneak out of my window so I'd be on time for dinner.
I sigh, joining Lip on my bed, Wuthering Heights in hand.
"Read to me?" I mumble. He's prepared for the question, and no matter how many times he smiles and says yes, I'm still a little embarrassed. It's easier when he reads to me because I can hear his voice reading the lines in my head. He smiles like he usually does, leaning back and taking the book from me. I lean against him, listening as he reads.
"Y/N!" I hear my mom call from downstairs. I look at Lip apologetically, telling him I'll be right back. I trudge down the stairs, trying to delay whatever my mom has to say. I walk into the kitchen, joining her and my siblings. Oh joy.
"Why didn't you put the dishes away?" She asks, annoyed at my presence. I can feel myself fold in slightly, ready for whatever the family wants to pile on me.
"I- I'm sorry, mom, it's just that the oceanography club ran late-" she cuts me off, not needing to hear my explanation.
"I don't care what happened, Y/N. You have these things to take care of because the rest of us are doing more important things. Your father and I both work full time jobs all day. Your brother is a football captain, and your sister is president of the debate team. They have well-fulfilled, promising lives in front of them. What do you have? A weird obsession with fish."
"I concur," my sister chimes in. "Are you like, attracted to them?" My brother laughs, joining in on the game. "Probably, I mean it's not like she's pretty enough to date a human!"
They continue to take turns, finding whatever flaws they can to comment on. I shrink into myself, waiting for them to get distracted by their own arrogance and start talking about themselves.
This moment comes like it usually does, but never fast enough. I walk away as quietly as possible, and return to my room. Lip looks at me, his eyes searching mine. He still has Wuthering Heights open, his thumb and index finger holding the spine open to the page we left off on. He places the book face down beside him on the bed, silently opening his arms in a welcoming gesture. Without hesitation, I take my spot in his arms as he pulls me into his chest, stroking my hair softly. I try to bite back my tears, but a few escape, and suddenly he has tear stains on his shirt.
"I'm so sorry, baby," he whispers to me, swaying slightly. "I didn't know. We'll figure something out, 'kay? No reason you can't come stay with me. The kids love you, and Fiona'll come around when we tell her what's goin' on. You and me, right?"
I smile slightly, nodding against him. "Right."

Masterlist
Thank you for asking 18+ Jenna x F!reader Summary: Request Warning: Jenna g!p, some smut at the beginning, Unprotected sex (Thank you so much for your requests and your likes. It really motivates me to continue sharing lots of stories about our Jenna with you. I love you guys).Number of words : 1441
Part 2
Pov Jenna: “~Aaah yes~ keep it up baby. » I'm at my mother's house and my mother went to pick up Aliyah from a friend's house. And they go shopping. And the rest of my siblings aren't home. So me and my beautiful girlfriend are enjoying the peace and quiet at home.
Y/n is lying on the bed with her head on the cushions and I am on top of her. My arms are placed on the bed at both ends of Y/n's head to support myself.
I thrust into her making her moan. My favorite sound since I became a couple with this wonderful person. Y/n has her arms wrapped around my neck and pulls me closer to her. She kisses me. My tongue asks for access into her mouth and she accepts. Our tongues move in circles and I press our lips back together. I keep sinking into my lip.
We've been fucking for 30 minutes now. We managed to do 3 laps. And honestly it's weird that my mom takes so much time. But no one is going to complain about it.
Now it’s Y/n on top of me and I’m lying on the bed. Y/n sits on my thighs facing me and jumps on my cock. I put my hands on his thighs to help him move. I moaned at the sight of my penis moving in and out of her dripping pussy.
“You look so good in…”
“Jenna…” My mother comes into my room. I open my eyes wide like Y/n who immediately stops jumping on me.
“JENNA MARIE ORTEGA!” How many times have I told you not to make love in my house! »
My mother yells at me. Luckily, my bed is in front of the door, so my mom can't see my girlfriend's tits since her back is to her.
“And how many times have I told you to knock before entering my room! Now get out of my room. Let's get dressed! » I shout back.
“Fine but you better not do that again.” » said my mother, pointing at us.
My dear mother comes out of my room and closes the door. My girlfriend gets off of me and starts to get dressed and I do as she does. His silence makes me really anxious. I hope my mother didn't ruin our relationship.
“I’m really sorry about my mother. I swear I didn't know she was back. » I say as guilt invades my whole body.
Y/n looks at me and a smile appears on her face that makes me sigh in relief at not seeing her angry. She steps forward and takes my face in her hands.
“Baby, it’s no big deal. I knew this was going to happen to us one day or another. We make love all the time when we're at your parents' house. Plus I find it funny. » Y/n says as a laugh leaves her lips. I laugh with her.
" I love you my dear. I said lovingly as I wrapped my arms around his neck and scratched his head with my nails.
" I love you too. » Y/n replies with a lot of love too and wrapping her arms around my waist. I stand on tiptoes and place my lips on his. The kiss quickly becomes passionate.
“Jenna Ortega the conversation is not over, leave this room immediately. And Y/n you’re coming too! » said my mother from behind my bedroom door.
I stop the kiss and pull away from Y/n.
"Come on, let's go face the angry monster." » I say laughing at my choice of words. But Y/n doesn’t laugh. She is terrified and I can tell you that I am too. I can tell you that getting caught by your mother having sex with your girlfriend is the most embarrassing moment of my entire life. And I will remember it for the rest of my life.
We leave the bedroom and go down to the kitchen. I immediately look down when I enter the kitchen and look straight down when my mother looks at us with narrowed eyes. I know when her eyes are narrowed like that, she's angry.
I sit at the kitchen table in front of my mother. Y/n goes to sit next to me but my mother points to the chair at the end of the table without breaking the eye contact she tries to make with me but I keep my eyes looking down. Y/n does as my mother says and sits down.
“Is this the first time you’ve made love in my house?” » Natalie asks, clasping her hands together. I hold back laughter because my mother thinks she's a superb interrogator.
I shake my head and look up to pinch my nose.
“Jenna, Y/n do you realize that, DJ, Cash could have walked into your room and been traumatized. Even worse, what if one of the boys brought Mya? »
“We’re sorry, mom. But we were really careful. We waited until everyone was asleep or no one was home. »
“Yes, we’re really sorry, Natalie. It wouldn't happen again. »
I know Y/n is terrified. And I would have liked to be close to her to comfort her.
“I forgive you, but no more sex in my house understood? » My mother said, pointing at us both.
" Yes mom. » “Yes Natalie. » We both answered.
" GOOD. » My mother gets up but sits back down and looks at me.
“Did you use condoms?” » my mother asks me as she looks at me intently.
Fuck! I completely forgot the condom! We don't take condoms since Y/n is on the pill. So we never take it during our sexual relations.
Y/n and I look down in shame and I hear my mother let out a breath.
“Jenna!” Do you know what happens when someone who has a penis can do after unprotected sex!? »
I make a disgusted face as Y/n sinks back into her chair.
“But of course yes, mom, I know what it does! And Y/n takes the pill! » I then say that all I want is for this conversation to end as quickly as possible.
“But that’s not enough Jenna! Y/n could get pregnant even if she takes the pill! Should I give you a lesson on sexuality and the use of condoms? » My mother said, looking at us both.
" Mom! No! No way! » I respond quickly as I stand up. “Come on baby let’s go.” » I take Y/n's hand and she stands up.
" No no no. As a consequence of having made love in my house and without a condom, you are going to pick up Aliyah from her friend's house. »
“But weren’t you already going to get her? " I ask. And it’s only now that I’ve never seen my little sister.
“No, she was staying later after all. » My mother tells me and I start to panic. I look at Y/n with wide eyes.
“Don’t worry. I didn't hear anything so I went running. And I’m really happy I went for a run because my ears wouldn’t have liked it.” My mother says and I roll my eyes.
“Okay, I’ll go. Come on Y/n let's go. » I say before my mother intervenes.
“No, Y/n stay here. I am going to start my sexuality and condom use class. » Natalie said, taking my girlfriend's arm and leading her towards her. Y/n is as red as a tomato.
" But… "
“Don’t worry my dear, you will have time to attend my class too if you hurry. » My mother says to me without letting go of Y/n's arm and looks at me with a smirk because she knows that she always wins at this game.
I roll my eyes and look at Y/n. And she looks at me. I know she's telling me to help her. But my mother will never let her.
" Sorry. » I say on the lips. Y/n gives a smile that doesn’t meet her eyes. I know she is ashamed and would probably like to step aside.
I leave the house and head to my car. I look behind me and see Natalie waving goodbye to me and still with that shitty smirk on her face. Y/n is still as red as a tomato at the thought of my mother lecturing her on sexuality. I breathe and get in my car towards Aliyah's friend.
At least we will have learned our lesson. We will never make love in my mother's house again.

Just watched the latest episode of bsd and seeing little yosano literally broke my freaking heart, so in honor to that I would like to ask for maybe a reader x fukuzawa where reader is like a mom figure and takes care of little yosano and ranpo? Like she is helping fukuzawa collect all those tiny ability users, but only if it's okay for you🫶🏽🥲
I just really enjoy ur writing ❤️

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭: 0.6k
𝐀/𝐧: Fr that episode was so sad:(. I wanted to add something like comforting Yosano and Ranpo, but I don't know how to comfort someone. So, I decided to dump that idea of mine. Lol (I'm glad u enjoy my writing<33)
Tumblr media
Fukuzawa admires and respects his s/o's nurturing and caring nature towards Ranpo and Yosano, and often turns to them for advice on how to handle the two children.
His s/o often takes on the role of a mother figure, providing emotional support and guidance to Ranpo and Yosano as they navigate the dangerous world of ability users.
Fukuzawa is grateful for his s/o's presence in his life, recognizing that their influence has helped shape Ranpo and Yosano into the capable individuals they are today.
His s/o is patient and understanding, knowing how to handle Ranpo's eccentricities and Yosano's occasional outbursts.
Fukuzawa trusts his s/o implicitly, often delegating important tasks to them in regards to the collection and management of ability users.
Despite Fukuzawa's intimidating demeanor, his s/o is not afraid to challenge him when necessary, particularly when it comes to the safety and well-being of Ranpo and Yosano.
Fukuzawa appreciates his s/o's attention to detail and ability to anticipate potential dangers, knowing that they are always one step ahead in protecting the children.
His s/o has a calming effect on Fukuzawa, helping to mitigate his stern and uncompromising nature with their warmth and affection.
Together, Fukuzawa and his s/o make a formidable team, balancing each other's strengths and weaknesses to achieve their goals.
Though their relationship may be unconventional, Fukuzawa and his s/o share a deep respect and love for each other, bound by their dedication to Ranpo and Yosano.
𝐒𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 :
It was another busy day at the Armed Detective Agency, and as usual, you were running around taking care of everyone. But today, you had two extra people to look after - little Yosano and Ranpo. They were both so young and innocent, and you couldn't help but feel a maternal instinct to protect them.
As you walked into the office, you saw Fukuzawa sitting at his desk, reading some documents. He looked up when he saw you and gave you a small smile.
"Good morning, my dear," he said, his voice low and calm.
"Good morning, love," you replied, walking over to him and giving him a kiss on the cheek.
You then turned your attention to Yosano and Ranpo, who were sitting at a table, working on some puzzles. You sat down next to them and watched them for a moment, admiring how smart they were for their age.
"Hey, guys," you said, smiling at them. "How's it going?"
"We're doing good," Yosano replied, looking up at you. "We finished all our work."
"Great job," you said, ruffling their hair. "Why don't we take a break and go get some snacks?"
Yosano and Ranpo both nodded eagerly, and you got up to lead them to the kitchen. As you walked, you couldn't help but feel a warm feeling in your heart. You loved taking care of these kids, and you were so grateful that Fukuzawa allowed you to be a part of their lives.
In the kitchen, you helped Yosano and Ranpo make some sandwiches and poured them each a glass of juice. As they ate, you sat with them and listened to them chatter about their day.
After a while, Fukuzawa walked in and sat down next to you. He watched the kids eat for a moment before turning to you and saying, "You're so good with them, my dear. I'm lucky to have you."
You blushed at his words, feeling grateful and loved. You looked back at Yosano and Ranpo, who were now giggling and chatting animatedly, and you knew that you were exactly where you were meant to be.

✨The Talk✨
Summary: Your daughter asks Dean for "the talk".
Pairing: Dean x Daughter (no incest), Dean x Reader, Dean x Sam & Cas (just background)
Warnings: Language, Sensitive topic, Dean being too harsh, fluff at the end
Word Count: 1624
A/N: English isn’t my first language, so please be lenient. 💙✨
Tumblr media
"Daddy… do you... umm... you have a sec?", Dean's daughter was standing in the doorway of the library. Dean leaned back in a chair, legs crossed on the table and was looking through some files when his daughter rocked nervously in place. “Sure munchkin. Shoot”, he muttered, lingering on an article.
"You know, Scott and I..umm… we've been together for a year now and... I... I actually wanted to talk to mom about this, but she's not coming back until next week", Luna started talking. "And we're meeting on the weekend and I'm… I want him to like it and I´m not sure how to say this, because it´s…", her hands waved wildly in the air.
“Dad, can you please tell me what I have to do during sex?”. Towards the end, Luna lowered both arms in surrender and looked everywhere but at her father.
Dean took a sip of beer and gagged violently when he heard his daughter's words. Sam, who had just come out of the kitchen with two burgers, stopped dead in his tracks. He cleared his throat before speaking. "Well, I'll be in my room", Sam placed a burger in front of Dean, who looked at him completely desperate and looking for help.
Luna, on the other hand, had a bright red head and covered her face with her hands. It was hard enough for her to say those words to her father, but now that her uncle also knew what was going on, she just wanted to die.
Dean cleared his throat a few times before taking his legs off the table and sitting up more or less upright. Elbow on the table and face in his hand, he thought as he looked at the bookshelves. After taking a few deep breaths, he rubbed his face and looked at his daughter, who was obviously not so little anymore. "Lu... can you…umm... wouldn't you rather wait until your mom comes back?", Dean answered, trying to control himself. His cheeks are now bright red too.
"No Dad… We...Saturday is our anniversary and Scott's parents aren't home and... please Dad", she murmured, looking pitifully into his eyes.
While Luna explained why she didn't want to wait, Dean's head was already spinning. He imagined the worst possible scenarios, how a boy could break his little girl's heart. His mood suddenly changed from overwhelmed and worried to angry.
“You’re only 15, Luna! You shouldn't worry about something like that! You're going to stay the fuck home this weekend!”, he replied in a stern tone and a little too loudly, which visibly frightened his daughter.
Luna jumped up and looked at her father with her big green eyes. "But Dad! I-", she started, but was immediately interrupted by Dean. "To your room! I don't wanna hear about that shit anymore! Go!", he even yelled at her, which was enough to make her cry. Luna knew better than to argue with her father when he was already angry, so she immediately ran to her room, but not before slamming the door loudly. The apple didn't fall far from the tree.
Dean put his face in his hand again. His expression was dark, just like his mood at the moment. He was angry. At his daughter, at you for not being there and at himself for making Lu cry.
"That was a bit harsh, don't you think?", Sam entered the library and placed a hand on Dean's shoulder before sitting down across from him.
Dean didn't say anything for a while. He knew Sam was right, but he just didn't know how to handle the whole situation. To Dean, Luna was still a child. Of course, he saw that she was slowly growing up, but that didn't change his protective instinct. It was bad enough when she said she had a boyfriend, now this? That was just too much for him.
“Look at it this way, Dean. Be happy that she has so much trust and comes to you. Very few kids do that these days. Jackson didn't come to me or his mother. Luna is a sensible young girl and Scott makes a good impression too, doesn't he? You have to learn to let her go". Sam's gaze pierced Dean's conscience, even though he still didn't look at his little brother.
“I’ll call (y/n). I want to know what she thinks”, he grumbled, got up and disappeared into the garage.
It took him two tries before you finally answered the phone.
“Fucking finally! It’s nice to have you answer the damn phone!”, your husband complained before you even heard a `hello`.
“Dean, language, for fuck´s sake!”, you scolded back.
“Sorry”, he just grumbled and leaned against the Impala.
"What is wrong?", you sighed and looked out the window of the motel room you were currently staying in with Rowena.
"I... Luna... damn it!", Dean pinched the bridge of his nose before continuing, raising his hand. "Did you know that Luna wants to sleep with her boyfriend?". Subconsciously, he immediately made a disgusted face and put his free hand in his pocket before he started to angrily walk around the garage.
"Oh…". It was quiet between the two of you for a while. Now you could explain where Dean's bad mood came from. “Babe, we both knew the day would come sooner or later”, a small smile crept onto your lips. Dean had such an intense relationship with your daughter that it was clear he wasn't exactly open to this kind of topic.
While your husband explained to you why your daughter was talking to him and not you and what had happened, you thought about how you could calm Dean down a bit.
When he finished talking, you cleared your throat before starting to try your luck. "Dean. Don't you think it was a huge step for her to come to you with this topic? Almost no girl discusses such things with her father. You should feel honored. And... Come on, Scott's a really nice guy. He likes Luna… and you too, by the way. He won't hurt her. And even if Dean, that's part of it. You won’t be able to protect her from everything”. Your voice was calm and empathetic, exactly what Dean needed right now.
“Go talk to her and apologize for your outburst. The rest will fall into place. Inform her and answer her questions. You can do it, baby. I know you can”, you smiled, even though he couldn’t see it.
“I love you (y/n)”, he murmured. “I love you too”, you chuckled before hanging up.
Dean stayed in the garage for a few minutes to think about everything. Just as he was about to leave, Cas appeared behind him, startling him. "Dean", he murmured monotonously. “Damn it, Cas! Stop it!”, Dean grumbled. Cas looked at him confused for a moment, but then he realized what Dean meant. However, something different took precedence in Cas's eyes.
“Luna is crying. You need to check on her”.
Dean sighed briefly. Since the birth of your daughter, Cas has been something like her personal guardian angel. He had almost as close a relationship with her as Dean did. "I know. I'm on my way", Dean grumbled, leaving Cas to just mumble, "Fine".
Five minutes later, Dean finally knocked on his daughter's door but got no answer. "It's me Munchkin", he sighed.
“Go away”, Luna sobbed from behind the door. Her voice sounded like she had the blanket over her head.
"Lu... I wanna talk to you... please... can I come in?", Dean's voice was much softer than in the library. Luna's whiny voice had hit him right in the heart, which only made his guilty conscience worse.
There was silence again until after a few minutes the door opened a crack and Luna scurried straight back onto the bed under the covers.
Dean entered the room and slowly walked towards her bed. He tried to pull the blanket away from Luna's face, but she held it tight, sniffling.
Sighing, Dean placed his hand over the blanket on her back and stroked her gently.
“I'm sorry, Sweetheart... I shouldn't have yelled at you like that... I'm so sorry... it's just... Lu, you're my daughter. My little girl. When you were born you turned my whole world upside down. Since that day you have been the most important thing in my life. I... It's just hard to see you growing up so quickly and... I... I don't want you to get hurt", Dean admitted quietly.
It took a moment for Luna to poke her head out of the blanket. Her eyes were red and puffy from crying, which only hurt Dean more.
“C´mere”, he murmured, pulling her close to him. "I love you, Munchkin", he kissed her head and stroked her back again. “Just like you´re a daughter for the first time, I´m a father for the first time”, he smiled bitterly. “I'm really doing my best”.
Luna looked at her hands as she enjoyed her father's closeness and affection. “I know Daddy. And you're a really great dad... just... I can take care of myself, dad. You taught me everything I need to know and do to defend and protect myself. I know every single monster. I’m not 5 anymore”, she murmured against his shirt.
“But sometimes men can be worse monsters than any supernatural being, Sweetheart. I just don't want you to regret anything or… for anyone to hurt you".
It took a while before Dean had the courage to broach the sensitive subject again.
“Anyway… I know you’re sensible and I’m more than glad you came to me with this. So…”, he took a deep breath.
"Shoot. What do you want to know?".

Hi 👋 , could you write a fic of chris and wife! reader visiting his homeland of newfoundland and meeting his family. (btw you're like the #1 chris fanfic writer on this app, keep up the amazing work!!)
#1 Chris fanfic writer is a MASSIVE compliment, thank you so much!😳 this is a new request, but my brain was suuuuper fixated on it, so I hope you enjoy!💗
CHRIS MCLEAN AND WIFE! READER VISITING NEWFOUNDLAND ONE SHOT
Tumblr media
We're heading down to Newfoundland That rocky eastern shore!
That song’s been stuck in your head since you found out Chris was taking you on a private trip to his homeland.
You kiss his cheek,“You were such a sweetheart for bringing the contestants to your childhood home, Chris!”
He didn’t see what the deal was,“It’s nothing. You get to meet my mom and know Jerd a little more. The rest of the family aren’t important.”
“Hold up, Chris.” your grave sounding words draw him away from the window,“That sentence doesn’t feel right.”
“What do you mean?”
You weren’t gonna comment on Chris devaluing the position of his other family members, since it was his family, it was his business,“Well, we’re married... Doesn’t that mean I should’ve met them during our engagement or at the wedding?”
“Uh...” he chuckled,“There’s a reason why it’s us going to them, (Y/N).”
You put the pieces together,“I won’t ask anymore.”
Without Total Drama, this visit was a lot more ordinary yet unfamiliar. The smell of marine clogs your nostrils and seagulls’ squawks still active at this time of day clanged your ears.
Chris knocks on the barn door of his old home, opened by an auburn haired woman in a matter of seconds. Wrinkles lightens her face, almost like they mainly came from her constant joy rather than age as demonstrated with her loving greeting to Chris, making her title in his life clear.
Your anxiety in making a good first impression was compressed when she called your name more cheerfully, wrapping her arms around you,“Welcome welcome, I was wondering when Chris would finally bring ye home! Look at ya, Chris was right when he told me he married a bonnie lass!”
You looked at him for help. What did she say?
“She means an ugly cow.” by that look on his face, you knew he was teasing.
“Ohh patch aht, Chris! Ye ken what I meant when I said that.” his mother scolded him, turning back to you with a smile,“I meant yer a fine woman, love! Maybe too good for my wee Chris here.”
“Mommm...” now he knew how it felt hearing something dislikable, pouting at her,“You don’t mean that.”
“Aw stop yer whinin’, mac, it’s been a long time since yer introduced me to somebody I liked, hasn’t it?” she nudges him gently with her knuckle, addressing both of you,“Come in, I’ll fetch the Screech!”
Here was what the rest of the contestants didn’t get to see. A warm cabin-like house where most of the walls and stairs were made from logs. A lot of fish decor and though there wasn’t much interior walls, it was easy to tell where the kitchen and living room separated at. It was strange that Chris had not lived here for a long time, yet his scent was still so fresh among the furniture.
“Your mom is so nice, Chris!” you exclaim to your husband, looking around the well kept lounge, with three sofas and a coffee table,“You didn’t tell me she was so cheerful.”
He chuckles, shrugging,“Now you know where I get my smile from.”
And you recognised a duplicate of that smile in a photo frame, a teenage looking boy standing next to a woman who had a big resemblance to his mom. Both of them looked forward to the camera, appearing to be outside on a warm crowded day,“Was this you?”
He looks at it and nods,“That was on the final day of high school. It’s weird looking back on how I used to look without my stubble. I was still a hunk either way!”
You look at another frame, above the fireplace, of another younger Chris, dressed in a grey sweater and his hair medium cut. He looked about seven here,“Aww.. And this was you as a little boy. Your face was so round.”
He admires it,“It sure was. I remember shortly afterwards, I lost my first tooth.”
Then caught your eye, a time where he didn’t have any teeth: his mother, with much more frizzy hair and large hoop earrings, holding a baby close to her chin. They must have been at a beach, the woman’s vest being an appropriate choice for those outdoors.
“Aww, you were such a cute baby...” even with the low quality cameras had back then, you could still make out the the docile face Chris once had. You beamed at how he started off in the world as this beautiful baby boy.
He grins at the petting compliment,“The best thing on the planet was once so small you could pick him up in your arms!”
That’s still possible, but anyway! It was very clear his mom loves him, with a lot of moments of his childhood put up on show in her living room- you were happy that your husband had such a good relationship with one of his parents,“You love your mom a lot, don’t you?”
“How can’t I? She’s an amazing woman who’s done a lot for me. Probably the reason why I have some humanity left in this calamitous heart.”
Said woman returns back with a tray of four bottles of Screech,“Jerd should be here in ‘bout two shakes! Leave that bottle for him.”
“Thank you, mom.” though, he proceeded to walk out,“Bladder’s full.” Ah.
In the meantime, she invited you to have a seat on one of her comfy beige sofas. You decided to use this time to ask her some questions,“So... Ms McLean-“
“Katherine, dear!” your mother in law interrupts you kindly.
Your appreciation rose. She was as pellucid as when she first saw you come with Chris,“Thank you, Katherine. How long have you lived here in Newfoundland for?”
“Been living ‘ere before Chris was born! This is where his dad’s from and he wanted to stay so I figured I ought to come live with him.” Katherine replied, taking a sip of her Screech.
“Wow! And your accent is still very fresh.” you make an obvious comment on her heritage.
“Well lass, when yer getting old, it don matter where you are. Your roots will always wanna come back up to enjoy the review of yer life.” she winked,“I have learnt a bit about how these people in Newfoundland parts talk though! For example, they like to say “‘Ow’s she cuttin, me cocky?” as a way to say “How are you, my friend?” Funny, isn’t it!”
Your face stretches in surprise,“I never would have thought that was how they asked how you’re doing! Though, these kind of idioms are what makes cultures so beautiful and unique, right?”
“For sure!” her amused smile tones down to a very welcoming one as she put a hand on your shoulder,“Aw (Y/N). I really wished I was there to congratulate ye on the wedding day. I woulda loved to seen you in that lovely white dress.” her smile folds away, almost like she was lying to you...until she added,“My Christian on the other hand had to go looking like a pure bampot with all that gel he keeps using. Woman to woman, dae ye dig it?”
Before you could answer, her son returns to the living room, not pleased with the first words his embarrassed ears encountered,“Of course (Y/N) likes my hair! I totally looked way more gorgeous than I normally do on the wedding day, and that’s beyond science! Have you seen the photos?”
“Oh I saw everything.” you knew this was his mother for her to not be fazed at all by his self absorbed utterances,“That don’t mean ye should be using that damned gel every day! Dae ye ken what will happen if ye keep going? Yer gonna lose all this nice hair I used to comb for ye everyday and yer gonna be as bald as a nickel! And I know that’s not what ye want, but I canny tell ye what to dae, it’s yer life and I’ve done me part as yer mom while ye were a wee bairn.”
Chris didn’t like being told what to do, but he made very few exceptions to people’s advices, like from his mother,“Okaaaaay Ma... I’ll lay off the gel every two days. Happy?”
She kisses him apace,“That’s my boy!”
On cue, the short cousin arrives, looking identical to the first time you saw him from third season, in his sun coloured raincoat to his fiery red beard.
“Jerd!” Chris goes over to his ginger relative and clasps hands with him,“How you been?”
“Well, b’y!” he keeps his large genetic smile as he saw you,“Ah, the pretty lady! ‘Ow's she cuttin', me cocky?” he miraculously asked, enthusiastically shaking your hand.
“Best kind b’y, thank you!” never has been a better time to be prepared!,“We saved you a bottle of Screech.”
Jerd notices and he grabs it off the tray immediately,“Cheers! I’m just ‘bout gutfounded for some of this good o’ stuff!”
You weren’t thirty minutes in your stay at Newfoundland, but you already decided. You needed to visit them more often.

Okay, I have a couple of Christmas-themed Yellowjackets requests for you! The first one is for Nat. She has a fight with her dad and runs to Reader's house to see them, but because her shitty dad never celebrates she forgets that it's Christmas Eve/day (you decide). She's really embarrassed and she tries to leave again, but Reader invites her in to spend Christmas with their family. Could also have an awkward "meeting the parents" scene before Nat and Reader get to be alone together.
My second request is for our favorite Van! It's Van and Reader's first Christmas together as a couple, and they're exchanging gifts. Van gets Reader a gag gift (ofc) and it's a Vans hoodie (the shoe brand) because it looks like it says "Van's". She originally thought it was funny but gets really shy in the moment, but Reader absolutely adores it and showers her with kisses. Then maybe Van takes Reader to the team Christmas party and they wear it and Van is annoyingly smug about it/grinning and blushing the whole time. (I'm going to have a scene in my TaiVan fic where Tai finds out that Reader's already had this gift from Van, but I think the initial gift-giving would be really cute, especially when she's a teen, and I know you would bring it to life beautifully!)
Sorry for the really long ask, I just got so excited when I saw you were taking more requests! I love your writing and I can't wait to see what you do with these ideas! Thank you for sharing your work!🥰
Thanks for the long request , I really liked the Nat one well and the Van one. So I’m gonna do both.
Unexpected Christmas
Natalie scatorccio x reader
AN: I did my best with the request. I hope I did it justice. I just decided to make a simple family I didn’t want to make it to intricate . Also I know it’s 1996 but I decided to make the parents accepting. It was supposed to be nice and sweet and I didn’t want to make it about homophobia. Because that wasn’t that the request was about .I wanted it to be happy. Natalie’s text is in blue. I fear nat is ooc but I don’t know .
word count : around 1.4k
Tumblr media
Nat didn’t know where she was going; all she knew was that she had to go anywhere else. She had another awful fight with her father. Something about her being ungrateful. She had started to learn to just tune out all his yelling. It got to the point where she couldn't take it anymore. She grabbed her leather jacket and left, bearing the cold weather of Christmas Eve.
Nat walks through the snow and cold. And she gets an idea. The only place she knows she will be safe is with you. She makes her way to your house, picking up her pace as the temperature cools.
As you and your mom set the table, the faint sound of Christmas music plays in the background. It’s a lovely, peaceful night-your annual Christmas Eve dinner with your parents. Your father is finishing up the food in the kitchen. It's all calm and cheerful.
*Knock Knock*
You and your mother both turn to look at the front door. You place the last plate down and walk over to the front door. You're greeted by a red-flushed Natalie, the snowflakes easy to see littered in her brown hair.
Your eyes widen in surprise, definitely not knowing she would turn up unexpectedly. She clearly walked a while to get to your house.
“Nat? What's wrong?” you say, pulling her into a hug. You know quite a bit about her dad’s issues and start thinking the worst.
“I-Im ok.” she says, her voice breaking as she shivers. “Really, please don’t worry, I’m ok; it’s just my dad being an asshole again.” she says, shooting you a small, reassuring smile. You bring her in, take off her coat, and shut the door, as your parents get curious and make their way over to the front door. You turn around, and your parents are standing in the doorway.
“Um, who's this? I didn’t know we had visitors”Your mother says.
“Oh, I'm sorry, I’m intruding” Nat says as she tries to put her coat back on.
“No, please don’t go, Natty; we're having Christmas Eve dinner; you're welcome to stay. “You say as you tug on her arm, giving her a small smile. You get a little closer and lower your voice. “And I really want to tell them about us tonight and if you were here, it would make it so much better.”
“I didn't know it was Christmas Eve; I’ve never celebrated it before.” Nat says hesitantly, not wanting to intrude.
“ See! Even the more reason to stay’’
“ Fine, I'll stay.” Natalie smiles at you and looks over at your parents before she lets you take her coat.
“Uh, mom and dad, this is Natalie; she's on the soccer team with me;can she stay for dinner?” You ask momentarily, lying to them, to at least get Natalie warm and comfortable in your house before you tell them the truth.
Your parents invite her to stay. They trust you, and Natalie looks like she had been freezing. They don’t want to lock a teenage girl out on Christmas Eve so they let her stay. The warm coziness of your home makes her feel 100 times better than she was twenty minutes ago.
All four of you make your way over to the set dinner table, and you go into the kitchen to get another plate and cutlery for her. All four of you sit down together. You and Natalie are next to one another, and your parents are across from you. The night proceeds well. Natalie is quieter than her usual self, and you almost laugh a little when your mom makes a comment about how Natalie seems like a nice girl and a good influence. She seems like she is having a good time having an actual holiday meal.
After everyone finishes eating, you take Nat's hand underneath the table, giving her a little squeeze to signal her. You sit up and smile at your parents. “Um, I've been wanting to tell you guys about something that I've wanted to say for a while.” Your dad nods non-verbally telling you to keep going. “So I was talking about how I said I’m seeing someone, and I was going to introduce them to you when I'm ready.” Both your parents look back at you, urging you to keep going.
“Well, me and Natalie are dating.” you say, slowly trying to gauge their reactions as you look over at Natalie to check on how she is doing.
You nervously look back at your parents. “Really? That's lovely.” your mother smiles as she gets up to hug you. You're shocked that your parents don’t mind, but they have always been loving and trusting. Your father comes over as well, hugging you. He goes over to Nat and shakes her hand. You laugh a little at Natalie's face. It's a mix of nervousness and happiness all in one. You can tell she is nervous around your father and how he would react. She has had a complicated relationship with her dad, and seeing your dad being nice makes her feel so much better.
The four of you have a nice little talk. You get the whole "be safe” talk, and finally you drag Natalie up to your room to “show her your room.” You open up the door, pulling Nat in by the hand. You close the door behind you, and Nat wanders around your room, checking out your posters and little trinkets.
“How are you feeling, Natty?” You smile, ruffling her hair, as you lay down on your bed with her.
She smiles back. “Good, I'm glad your parents aren't assholes.” She jokes, but you know deep down she wishes her parents actually cared about her.
You give her a small kiss on the nose, making her nose scrunch up. You laugh a little and sit up quickly, going over to your closet to grab something. “Close your eyes” you say, grabbing something and holding it behind your back.
“A gift? You know I hate gifts.” Natalie says, closing her eyes, even if she protests.
“Just shut up and let me do something for you.” You say walking over to her and giving her another kiss. “Okay, open your eyes.” you say as you pass her a homemade stocking with her name on it. You smile and sit down next to her. It's hard to know if she likes it or if she thinks it's cheesy because she hasn't said a single word. She just stares at it, taking it all in.
She turns to look at you as tears well up in her eyes. Your eyes widen a little, worried if she is okay or not. “I know my knitting is bad, but I didn't know you'd cry.” You say, hugging her close as you rub her back. She laughs through her tears as a small smile grazes her lips. “It’s not that. It's wonderful. It's the nicest thing I’ve ever gotten. My dad hates Christmas; he never lets us do anything; this is so nice.” She says as her tears start back up again.
Both of you lay there on your bed in a comfortable silence as you run your fingers through her hair. Natalie reaches into her back pocket and pulls out a little bracelet with your name on it.
“So I found my old beads, and I had enough to spell your name.”
“I was going to surprise you with it on our anniversary; I kind of forgot it was in my pocket until I sat down. I know it's small, and you made me a whole stocking, but-” You cut her off by kissing her, and she quickly takes the hint.
“I love it, Natty; its the best gift I got.”
You both lay in your bed cuddled together, falling asleep to the sound of a Christmas movie playing in the background. It was both of your best Christmas ever.

Someday We’ll Be Together
Chapter 1: Welcome Home
————————————————————————-
(y/n's pov)
"Ues Mom, everything got packed!" - you
"Are you sure?? I don't want you to get here and realize you left something back in Louisiana because we're not going back for it!" - your mom
"Everything was put on the moving truck, I promise." - you
"Okay, sweetie, I'm so excited for you to get here!" - your mom
"I'm honestly excited to come home. I miss everyone." - you
"Robin and Jimmy are excited to see you too, they said they missed their bonus daughter." - your mom chuckled
Robin and Jimmy, Joe's parents.
Joe, as in Joe Burrow, had been my best friend from when I started walking to college graduation.
Joe was an insanely good football player, so he was drafted into the NFL after college. Luckily for him, he'd be able to move back to Ohio, where his parents were, and mine of course. I stayed in Louisiana for work purposes, and Joe and I drifted apart.
The thing is, before Joe and I drifted apart, I had a secret hidden from him.
It was kind of a big deal too.
I had a massive crush on Joe. Every time we made eye contact, I blushed, and every time his hand brushed against mine, I'd get butterflies.
I planned that I was going to tell him at our joint graduation party, but I chickened out.
——
Joe and I were in the kitchen by ourselves. Neither of us liked being the center of attention, so we were hiding from the party in the backyard.
"Uh. Joey, can I tell you something?" - you
"Of course-" - Joe
The sliding glass door opened, and Robin peeked her head in.
"Guys, get out here! This is your party, and everyone is asking where you guys are!" - Robin
"We will be out there in a sec!" - Joe
Robin sighed and retreated to the backyard after she shut the door.
"What'd you wanna tell me?" - Joe
"Uh. Never mind... I forgot" - you
“Oh, ok. Let's go. The quicker we get out there, the quicker we get to open our graduation presents!" - Joe grabbed your arm and started pulling you outside
——
I was so close to telling him but chickened out.
Now, we're barely even friends at this point. I haven’t talked to Joe in half a year.
"Sweetie, you there?" - your mom snapped you out of your daydream
"Oh yeah, sorry, I was daydreaming.” - you
"You started daydreaming after I mentioned Robin and Jimmy... any chance you're thinking about Joe?" - your mom
"Maybe.." - you
My mom was the only person I had told about my crush on Joe, and she was the one who told me I should get him alone at our graduation party and tell him.
"He still asks about you, you know." - your mom
"Really? I haven't talked to him in six months, Mom.” - you
"He comes over almost every day and talks to your dad about football. He asks me how you're doing. and if I've talked to you lately.” - your mom
"Does he know that I'm moving back?" - you
"Nope. We decided not to tell him so it would be a surprise. He's been feeling down ever since he tore his ACL. You being around will lift his spirits." - your mom
"That's if it's not awkward... Again, I haven't talked to him in half a year." - you
"You've known each other your whole lives." - your mom
"Yeah. Hey mom, I'm turning into the driveway now.” - you
I could hear my mom squeal. and I couldn't help but laugh.
It was so nostalgic turning into this driveway. Everywhere I looked in the yard, there was a memory from my childhood.
The Burrow's house was next door. Their home was on our right from the road's point of view.
We had a high fence on both sides of our property, but when Joe and I were 5, we had a gate put in so the Burrows could come over when they wanted by just walking through our yards.
I parked up in the same spot that I did when I was in high school, and before I could even unbuckle, my parents flew out of the front door.
Quickly jumping out of the car, I engulfed both my parents in a huge hug.
"My girl!!" - your mom
"I'm so glad you're back!" - your dad
"Come on, let's go inside." - your mom winked
"Oh no.. what'd you guys do?" - you
They pulled me inside, and I saw a huge "welcome home" banner hanging from the ceiling in front of the kitchen entrance.
Jimmy and Robin walked out of the kitchen with confetti cannons and popped them over my head. Robin held a small cake and handed it to me before Jimmy put a party hat on my head.
"Welcome home!!!" - Robin
"Oh my gosh! Thanks so much, guys!!" - you
"You're so welcome, sweetheart!" - Robin
I sat the cake down on the counter and hugged both of them.
"Welcome home, kiddo." - Jimmy
"Joe is at practice right now, but he should be back in about an hour. He’s going to be so excited." - Robin smiled
"I'm surprised you all were able to keep me coming home a secret." - you attempted to change the subject
"It was so hard to, trust me. We could only talk about it when he was gone. We practically shoved him out of the house an hour before he was even supposed to go to practice so we could get all this set up." - Robin
"Oh lord." - you laughed
"y/n, the moving truck is here!!" - your dad
"Thank god, I want to change clothes." - you
Everyone was upstairs helping me set up my room.
"Isn't it so funny that the last time you slept in this room, you were in high school?" - your mom
"Mhm. I was still young and didn't worry about the world.” - you
"Girl, you're still young. You don't get to say anything like that until you're at least in your mid 30's." - Robin
"Yeah. You're still significantly young, sweetheart." - your mom
"Okay, okay, I'm still young." - you laughed
"Uh, Joe just texted me. He’s home and wants to know where we are." - Robin looked at Jimmy
"Let's all go downstairs, y/n you stay in the kitchen. We'll all sit in the living room like normal." - Jimmy
We all followed Jimmy's plan, and all of us went downstairs and got into our places.
Robin texted Joe back and told him that they were over at our house. Just a few minutes later, he walked through the front door.
"What on earth? What's all this for?" - Joe
He looked at the banner and confetti on the floor and then looked back at everyone on the couch.
"Welcome home? I just went to practice.." - Joe
"It's not for you, you dork.” - Robin laughed
"Well then what is it?!" - Joe
"Go look in the kitchen.” - Robin smiled
Joe looked at her confused before he turned towards the kitchen and walked in.
I was hiding behind the fridge.
"What am I supposed to be looking for??" - Joe
I walked out from behind the fridge, and I watched Joe's jaw drop.
"Oh my god?! y/n!!" - Joe
He moved forward and pulled me into a hug.
"Hey Joe!" - you
"What- what is happening??" - Joe
Since his arms were still around me, Joe picked me up, spun me around, and then put me back down.
"I'm moving back home, the place I was working at shut down.. so I'm now living in my old bedroom." - you
"I can't believe you're back, I missed you." - Joe hugged you again
"I- I missed you too." - you
"We need to catch up. I need to know everything that I've missed.” - Joe
"Well, I've gotta unpack and get my room set up, but as soon as I have free time, we can hang out." - you
"I'm so sorry for not reaching out to you-." - Joe
"Aye, no, we can talk about that later. I need to know what's been up with you too." - you
"Nothing much, just a lot of football, but I don't want to talk about work, it's boring." - Joe
"Being an NFL player is boring?" - you raised an eyebrow at him
"Being an injured NFL player is boring.. and frustrating." - Joe
"Sorry Joe. I know it sucks." - you
"It's whatever. I'm really happy you're back, though, I missed my bestie." - Joe joked
"C’mon, we can talk while I unpack." - you started the kitchen and Joe followed you
(joes pov)
When I walked into the kitchen, I saw absolutely nothing but a cake.
"What am I supposed to be looking for??" - Joe
The next thing I knew, y/n walked out from behind the fridge. How has she gotten more beautiful since college?
"Oh my god?! y/n!!" - Joe moved forward and pulled you into a hug
As soon as my arms were around her, I felt the butterflies in my stomach.
"Hey Joe!" - you
"What- what is happening??" - Joe picked you up and spun you around and then put you back down
"I'm moving back home, the place I was working at shut down.. so I'm now living in my old bedroom" - you
"I can't believe you're back, I missed you." - Joe hugged you again
"I- I missed you too." - you
There are the butterflies again.
I need to know what's been up with you too.” - you
"Nothing much, just a lot of football, but I don't want to talk about work, it's boring." - Joe
"Being an NFL player is boring?" - you raised an eyebrow at him
"Being an injured NFL player is boring.. and frustrating." - Joe
"Sorry, Joe. I know it sucks." - you
"It's whatever. I'm really happy you're back, though, I missed my bestie.” - Joe joked
"C’mon, we can talk while I unpack." - you started out of the kitchen and Joe followed you
When I followed y/n into the living room, out of the corner of my eye, I could see our parents smirking at each other.
I gave them all the death stare but just got winks in return before I went upstairs with y/n.
(y/n's pov)
"it's kind of a mess right now, and there's boxes everywhere" - you
"I don't care.” - Joe shrugged and
"I mean, I know you wouldn't, but I don't want you to trip over a box or something." - you nodded in the direction of a joes leg brace
"I'm pretty good at maneuvering around. I want to help you set your room up because I feel terrible for not talking to you for so long. I need to explain to you why I didn't.." - Joe
"We can talk about that later, okay? Let's just catch up." - you
——
We had gotten done with my room and were now sitting on my bed. I was telling Joe about the friends I had made while in Louisiana when his phone went off because he was getting a call.
Joe picked up his phone and cursed under his breath when he read the caller ID, but he ended up declining the call and setting his phone down.
"Who was it?" - you
"Uhh, you remember Lexie Mathews?" - Joe
"The girl from the cheer squad at LSU?" - you
"Yeah, uh, she's my girlfriend. It was her who called." - Joe
"Oh." - you looked down
Of course, he has a girlfriend. And of course, it was someone like Lexie - blonde, blue-eyed, and perfect body.
"She's kinda the reason that I stopped talking to you..." - Joe
"What?" - you looked at him
"She didn't like that I told you everything and that I talked to you so much. She told me that I either stopped talking to you or she'd break up with me." - Joe
"Are you kidding me? And you chose her? I mean, I understand that she's your girlfriend, but we've been inseparable our whole lives, Joe. I was there for you way before her." - you
"I know, I know. I regret my decision so much, honestly. I'm so sorry." - Joe
"What's she gonna do when she finds out that you're talking to me in person?" - you
"She's not gonna find out. She lives in Kentucky, so she won't know." - Joe
“So I'm just going to be your friend in the shadows? Am I really that unimportant to you, Joe?" - you
"No, no, no. The exact opposite y/n. I don't want her to find out and make me not talk to you again." - Joe
"I think you should leave." - you
"What?" - Joe looked at me with hurt in his eyes
"I think you should leave Joe.." - you
"y/n, I’m sorry, I am. Our friendship means everything to me-" - Joe
"Clearly, it really doesn't mean that much to you because you ignored me for six months for a girl that practically bullied me in college." - you
"y/n-" - Joe
"Go, Joe." - you
Joe let out a defeated sigh and got up from the bed.
"I'm sorry." - Joe said before he walked out and shut the door behind him
As soon as the door shut, I flopped back on my bed and put my hands over my face.
Off to a great start.

The Consequences of Her Visit
Part 3 of Heirs Apparent | AO3
Masterlist
Danny dragged his feet to the kitchen to fetch himself a glass of water. This time, he wasn't deprived of any sleep; he'd snored his way through the entire afternoon after a particularly long morning of attending to kingly duties.
He threaded his fingers through his hair. The day marked four months since he had last heard from his mother. Her last letter had informed him about the situation of the League: the members had split into two main factions, one in support of a new leader and one in support of Talia and Nyssa's current rule. Talia never made her letters lengthy or personal, but Danny found comfort in receiving them. It told him that his mother was at least alive.
The hairs on the back of his head abruptly stood on end when he sensed a presence by the kitchen table.
"Dani, I told you to tell me first before you suddenly drop by," he sighed.
But when he was met with no snark, no reply, he whipped around to see an unexpected guest. "Amira? What are you doing here?"
Marinette gave him a gentle smile. "Sorry, I just . . . I needed to see you. It's been four months."
"Since the letters." Danny moved around the kitchen to prepare hot drinks for the both of them.
"Yeah." Marinette cast her gaze down. "I can't really visit Damian without compromising our identities so I thought I should come to you."
Danny shared her sentiments. He already had half the mind to fly to Paris or Gotham out of paranoia but held back, thinking of it as a reckless move. But he was more than relieved to have his sister visit.
He repeated the words from the last letter. "The League is split into two factions. She's probably occupied with that, right?"
"I imagine she's taking precautions so the other faction cannot trace us."
Excuses to reassure themselves. Danny had already known the fact that death was inevitable for any of them—they were a family of assassins after all. But he didn't know if he'd be able to accept it when it did happen. He swallowed down the bitter lump in his throat. Cross the bridge when you get there. Don't think about that right now.
He took the steaming mugs of coffee, handing Marinette one much to her delight. He wasn't unfamiliar with her addiction to caffeine but he had the same tendencies so he was happy to indulge her.
"Are you sure it's okay for me to stay here?" Marinette shot a wary look at the stairs leading up to the bedrooms.
"Don't worry, Mom and Dad can't be woken up even if there's a ghost and Jazz just pulled an all nighter so she's knocked out," Danny explained and Marinette hummed in reply.
He often wondered if she felt any different shifting into a new family. In his first days with the Fentons, there was a strange feeling accompanied by being the youngest as a transition from being one of a set of triplets.
"Is there anything bothering you?" asked Marinette, sipping on her drink. Translation: has anyone targeted you?
"Nothing really. The usual," he shrugged. "Ember, Technus, Fright Knight. They're minor inconveniences at this point. What about you?"
"Hawkmoth's still Hawkmoth," said Marinette. "But, um, my partner and I are handling things better. We're together now."
Danny made a mental note to arrange a shovel talk later on when he saw a pink blush dusting her cheeks.
"I'm worried about you," he confessed, "I was thinking . . . Rogues will always be in Gotham and ghosts won't cease to exist here but you—you can defeat the villain in your city. There's an end to his reign. If we can help out in uncovering his identity, Paris will be at peace again."
"It's too dangerous. I'm sorry, akhi."
Danny took a sip from his cup. Just like that, his help was turned down.
With his luck, footsteps sounded from the staircase. He scrambled to get Marinette into a hiding place but she was faster, effortlessly slipping inside a cabinet. Danny had just enough time to push back her chair and bring her mug next to his when Jack entered the kitchen.
"Whatcha you doing up, son?" Jack asked. Danny pretended not to notice that his adoptive father was all geared up.
"Can't sleep." Danny forced out a faux smile. "It's nothing bad."
"Why do you have two cups of coffee?"
"Uhmmm, I like to have an extra just in case." He pulled the other mug closer to his.
Thankfully, Jack didn't seem to think twice about it. "Well, your mom and I are driving over to Springfield. One of our ghost sensors went off there and we're gonna test our newest invention!"
"You're going right now? At this hour?" Another ghost-hunting trip. What did he expect?
"Yup!" As if on cue, more footsteps padded down the stairs. Most likely it was Maddie, who was loading their equipment into the truck. "Who knows, we might be able to catch that sneaky Phantom!"
A chill passed over Danny's spine. The fact that Marinette was hearing how obsessed the two were about hunting down Phantom wasn't good. He drummed his fingers nervously on the table. "Doesn't he stay in Amity Park though?"
"You never know." Jack dug into his pocket and handed him a few bills. "Here's a lil' something for you. Get yourself something nice while we're out."
Danny looked down at the allowance left for them. It was barely enough to buy them groceries to last a whole weekend. Jack, as usual, didn't seem to realize this and only ruffled his hair before heading out the front door. In less than a minute, the RV was speeding down the street.
And Marinette was out from her hiding spot.
"Danny, what was that?" He couldn't meet her eyes as she asked the dreaded question.
"What was what?"
"Are your parents always like that?" Her tone was firmer, voice louder.
He didn't answer. Marinette moved closer to him and he knew—he knew—she was analyzing him, watching his every move to read the answer from him. "Danny. Danyal." She clutched the edge of the table. "What was that?"
He had told his siblings about how he came to be a Halfa, but he only mentioned in passing that his parents were hunters. He chose to omit their neglect, and preferred to just live with it. "Jack and Maddie care about catching ghosts more than us," he told his sister quietly, "But they're good people, amira."
"But what he said about Phantom." Venom laced her words. "How can they be so reckless? What about you? You're a good person, don't they see that?"
Danny opened his mouth and clamped it shut. Ancients, what am I supposed to say? 'We're used to it'? He braved a look at her eyes and found them flowing with emotion, perhaps even more than what she could show back in Paris.
"They don't know you're . . ."
"No, they don't."
"But Jazz knows, right?" She took a seat, accepting her cup again.
"Yes, and she's been taking care of me ever since." He reached across to squeeze her hand. "It's okay, we're okay right now. As soon as Jazz finishes college and saves up enough money, we'll be out of this house."
"Why didn't you tell us you've been living like this?" Her face was red, her irises were watery and her fingers shook. Marinette was good at concealing her emotions, but she was better at expressing them at the right times.
"The same reason why we lie about our past," Danny answered solemnly. "You understand that, don't you?"
A harsh glare was directed at him. "Yes, we lie to other people but that doesn't mean you lie to us. No matter what you think of the situation, it's dangerous for you. And don't say you didn't want to worry me and akhi, because we're always worried."
His shoulders sagged. He did want to tell them but only when he had settled on a new life. "I'm sorry."
Marinette heaved out a sigh, and it that second Danny felt like he was the youngest, fresh out of a scolding. She sipped on her coffee to calm herself down, rubbing away the tears from her eyes. "You know akhi will skin you alive, right?"
His lips quirked up into a smile. "It's not like I'm not already half-dead."
"Danyal."
"I know, I know." His smile stretched wider. "Are you going to tell him?"
Marinette huffed. "I should."
"I'll tell him myself. Later today." He downed the last of his coffee, savoring the sweet taste.
"What?"
"You said it's difficult to visit Damian, but it's less risky if it's me. I'll drop by Gotham, check on him, and ask if he's heard anything from the League or Mother," he vowed. "Then I'll come clean."
Marinette's lips curled. ". . . Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'll make it quick and give you an update after." Plus, I can always overshadow akhi if it doesn't go well. Or disappear right away.
----
Danny didn't find his brother in manor, so he opted to track his location to the Botanical Gardens where he saw Damian with Titus. He swiftly checked if he was truly alone before jotting down a coded message on a broad leaf. He dropped the leaf on the page Damian was sketching on, and the latter quickly deemed the coast clear.
"Hey, akhi." Danny carefully sat down beside his brother. The setup and timing were too perfect.
It was almost as if Damian was expecting him.
"Amira told you, didn't she?" Danny said with a wince.
"She concisely summarized what transpired during her visit." Damian paused his sketching, patting Titus' head who seemed to be interested in Danny's presence. "Now explain."
Of course she'd snitch on me, Danny grumbled to himself. But then again, I promised to tell Damian. "It's exactly how it is. My adoptive parents . . . aren't the best parents. Ghost hunting has always been the topmost priority for them and Jazz has been the one taking care of me for as long as I remember."
"Why were you keeping this from us?"
Danny's leg bounced up and down. From their childhood, it was always Damian who asserted his elder position among the three, despite being born only three minutes before Danny. Danny always thought his brother was subconsciously pressured to be the one in charge, along with the obligation of being the League's heir.
"Because . . . it's too messy to deal with it. I don't want court cases linked to us or CPS knocking at our door," Danny replied. "And it's better this way. They don't care too much if I'm out late or missing for a few days. At least Jazz and I have the freedom to deal with our lives, especially ghost-fighting."
Danny looked at his brother. He hadn't torn his gaze away from the page, continuing to draw the pink hydrangeas in front of them. Danny leaned back. "There's also the Guys In White."
"Guys in White?"
"A secret government organization dedicated to eliminating ghosts." The awful memories filled his head one by one. "If Jack and Maddie are out of the picture, they might come for me and Jazz or confiscate their hunting equipment. I don't need more ghosts falling into their hands."
Danny laughed humorlessly. "So I guess our parents' neglect is a double-edged sword in that way."
He felt his eyes shifting in color as he imagined what the GIW could do to them and his subjects. Damian clearly sensed his anxiety as he didn't pry any further about the organization (though Danny knew his akhi would be doing a lot of incognito research later on).
". . . I see," Damian finally uttered after moments in silence.
Danny cocked an eyebrow. "That's it? 'I see'? You're not going to skin me?"
"Tt. I trust that you and Jasmine know what you're doing and I see no need to interfere . . . yet." A scowl flashed on his face. "Also, I refuse to be a victim of your possession again."
Danny blinked. He anticipated blood. A bruise or two at least. But a calm Damian was more terrifying; he took it as a promise that his brother will retaliate if ever anything happens to him under the care of his adoptive parents.
Nonetheless, he was glad he could finally confide in his siblings about his situation and give them more clarity on his double life as a Halfa.
"Overshadowing," Danny corrected, snorting. "That was one time! I didn't know where to hide."
"You made a fool out of me in front of Kent."
"Come on, he totally bought it!"

Pairing: Jungkook x reader
Pov: He's your friend's brother.
Genre: Romance, Fluff, Smut, Mature.
"Guys, summer break is about to begin!" Jissa said, "And we'll not be able to meet at school." "Yes," Haejin had a sullen look over her face. "So I was thinking, maybe you guys could come to my place over the weekend?" Jissa suggested and suddenly our faces turned from gloomy to glowing.
The school was off for the rest of one and a half month. The weekend was here. Haejin called me. "Y/n, I'm at Jissa's, when are you coming?" "Will be there in 5min!" I replied.
My mom pulled over the car in front of Jissa's place and saw me off. Jissa, Haejin and I were best friends since middle school. That would be for more than four years. Earlier we were not allowed sleepovers but now we were in high school. And have been friends for so long that our families knew each other.
I rang the doorbell. "I'll get it, I'll get it!" Jissa ran downstairs as she knew I was coming. But someone else opened the door. I was kinda surprised and amazed. He stood in front of me, Jungkook, Jissa's brother. He's grown up so much since last I saw him. I was twelve then and he was sixteen. Ngl, he looked cute even then. After that, he went to Seoul, for high school and college. I knew that much.
Now, I was sixteen and he was twenty. He's so much taller. He had built his body, muscles and everything. He had tattoos in his right arm. He was wearing a sleeveless tee-shirt, exposing his biceps. "Heyy!" I said. "Hi-"
"you're here!" Jissa chuckles excitingly hugging me tight. She always does this, even if we meet after a couple days. Jungkook went back to the living room couch. He was playing some game and having snacks.
"let's go to my room!" Jissa says, breaking my focus from Jungkook.I nod, "sure!" But as I walked, my eyes were fixated on observing how he has changed. He was a man now. We walked from the side through the hallway, and at one point he noticed that I was looking at him, and I turned away. I went upstairs in Jissa's room with her. Haejin was already there.
"Omg, we're all wearing the same colour just a bit different shades," Haejin said excitingly. I was wearing a lavender top with dark purple hearts on it and white shorts. Haejin wore a purple shirt over light pink pants and Jissa, she wore a midy, which too was lilac purple. We were clicking pictures and selfies.
"Guys, I recently bought some make up stuff online. Let's try it!" Jissa said. Basic girl get together stuff. Next two hours we sat there, doing makeup and clicking pictures again.
"Aren't you guys hungry?" Haejin said. "Yes, I am." I said. "Let me get you some snacks." Jissa said. "Wait, we'll come with you. Let's go to the living room. We're sitting here for quite sometime." I said and they both agreed. Actually, my intention was to see Jungkook again. It had been a few hours. And we didn't even get a chance to meet nicely at first. Well, it would be kind of awkward now, if I talked to him. We're not kids anymore.
To my disappointment, Jungkook wasn't there in the living room. Jissa got some snacks from the kitchen and we sat on the same couch. She switches Netflix on the tv. "What you guys wanna watch?" We looked at each other confusedly. "Some Drama?" Haejin asked? "I'm not in the mood for Dramas!" Jissa said.
Suddenly, the door of the room in the hallway opposite to the couch opens up. Jungkook comes out of his room. "What are you guys up to?" He asks in the air walking towards kitchen. "Deciding what to watch!" Jissa replied. "Can't decide?" "Aniyo, do you have any suggestions?" She asked.
"How about a horror movie?" He smirks. Jissa looked at us. Haejin threw her shoulder up. "It's a good idea," I replied. "Okay, then..!" Jissa went to the horror movies section and began searching.
"You know what, I'm joining you guys too." He said. I turned my face to the side and smiled at myself foolishly doing a "yes" with my fist.
Finally, it was decided. We were gonna watch Insidious, second part. As Jissa put the film on, Jungkook turned off all the lights. "Ayoo, wth?" Jissa said. "I'm creating an ambience." He said, "it's gonna be fun."
I was seated on the couch and Haejin sat next to me. Jissa sat on the one chair sofa. And Jungkook, he came and sat on the couch next to me. I looked with wide eyes at him then turned away, looking at the tv screen. I wasn't the scaredy cat type, but yeah when any horrific scene comes, I would be scared and react.
We had kept snacks beforehand. Popcorn, chips, cola, Jungkook had his banana milk. Yeah, he loved that, even as a kid. I remember. Jungkook wasn't scared at all. I could see. And Jissa too, she would react a little. But Haejin, who was sitting next to me, she was hell scared. She would scream in the middle and even make a normal scene scary. She would hug me tight and I tried to free myself.
At one point, a scene came and Haejin screamed. I was terrified. I threw my hand and grabbed something. It was Jungkook's thigh. I looked at him, he looked awkwardly at me. Then I moved my hand away instantly like a current. Well that was awkward. But why am I getting butterflies. His thigh was muscular, stiff. What am I thinking?
Another scary scene comes. Haejin grabbed my hand. I didn't flinch anymore. Did not react. "You're not scared?" Jungkook looked at me. "No.. are you?!" He laughed a little. "Me? Nah!" Just then, Haejin screamed and we all were traumatized. Jungkook grabbed my arm from the side, shrinking. His face was too close to my neck. I could feel his breath.
"Yo, Haejin aah? What was that?" Jissa yelled. Jungkook slowly moved away leaving my arm. He got all awkward, ruffling his hair, looking here and there. Finally the movie ended. Jissa turned on the lights.
"what about the dinner?" She asked jungkook. "Mom's not coming home tonight?" "No she and dad went to grandmother's house." She replied.
"So, then it's just us?" Haejin asked. "Maybe we should order something." Jungkook said.
"Pizza it is" Jissa blurted out excitingly and ordered pizzas.
"When we saw each other last time you were too young," Jungkook said. "You too, you were my age then." I said and he laughed a little. Haejin didn't know Jungkook much. At that time, she didn't visit Jissa's place.
There were times you visited Jissa's house, for Christmas or a birthday party. They were cherish-able times.
"So, you're in college now?" I ask him. "Yep!" He replied. "In Seoul?" He nodded.
Next few minutes, we all had pizzas and talked about everything. Jissa reminded me of the childhood and told stupid stuff about Jungkook to which he argued with her and told something about her. They were chaotic pair of siblings. Now that I remember, maybe I had a thing for Jungkook, even back then. I liked him.
Stop being delusional. He studies in college and lives in Seoul. Also, he's four years older than me. I remind myself. He must have a girlfriend..
As the night fell, Jissa made a mattress bed on the floor. "Who's gonna sleep on the floor?" Haejin asked. "You!" Jissa replied. "No way. Not after you traumatized me with the horror movie. There was space for two on the bed. "I'll be on the mattress!" I said. "Really y/n? It's fine with you?" Jissa asked. "Yeah babe!" I replied. "If there's any problem just wake me up!" "Cool" I said.
Well, it was then, 1 a.m. and I realised it was a bad idea, sleeping on the mattress on the floor, alone. I was thirsty. There was no water in the room. I slowly, got up and walked on my tiptoes. I looked around, it was quite dark. I kept my phone handy and switched the flash on.. looking for water. I went to the kitchen and opened refrigerator, there were bottles. I took one and drank from it.
Suddenly, jungkook, who had gone to the washroom, came out and saw the fridge open. He moved towards it. And as I closed the fridge and the flash was on my face he was terrified. He was going to scream when I grabbed his mouth shut, leaning towards him.
"Jissa and Haejin will wake up!" I mumble in a low voice. He moves your hand from his mouth. "What are you doing here?" He asked. "Drinking water!" I tell him. "You scared me!" He admitted. "I scared you, I thought you were fearless!" I chuckled.
I take a look at him with the light emitted by my phone flash. We were standing too close. He was wearing his boxers and a vest. He was cute and hot at the same time. "I am fearless until someone creeps out of the refrigerator at 1a.m. at night." He said. I laugh.
"Anyway, good night!" He said and began moving away when I stopped him. "Jungkook." He turns around. "I can't sleep." "Why?" He asked. "I am scared. And I can't sleep on the mattress on the floor, alone!" I told. "Then ask Jissa to exchange places." He suggests. "I don't want to wake her up."
"Then, what do you want to do?" He asked. "I don't know." I said. "Sleep on the couch!" He said. "I told you I'm scared." I said. "So then what? Huh! Do you want to sleep with me or what?" He asked, probably joking. "Yes!" I said, seriously. "What?!!" He was suddenly too awake. Before that he was kinda sleepy. "What'd you just say?"
"Forget it!" I said. He held my wrist. Pulling me back. "Are you serious?" He asked. "About what?" "About what you said earlier." "What did I say?" I acted fool. "That you want to sleep with me!" He blurted out directly. "I said that?" I raised an eyebrow. "Yes I heard it!" He said grabbing my arms by the side..
His chest was rising and falling. I felt the tension. I had provoked him.. he was breathing heavily. "Maybe you heard it right!" i winked. That was it. Guys are easy to melt, like candle, just light a little match and touch the candle with it and it would melt in hot wax.
He was very close, a few inches away, so I planted a soft kiss on his cherry lips. As I moved away he got impatient. He leaned again and pulled me in a deep passionate kiss. He slowly moved me towards the couch. There was no light. I fell on the couch and he fell upon me.
He was literally so nervous, I could feel his breath from inches away. "Are you like... virgin?" I ask him. "No I'm not.. but you are, aren't you?" He asks. I bite my lower lip. "Yes!"
"Do you have a girlfriend?" I ask. "Why? You want to be my girlfriend?" "Answer me first" I say. "No, I'm single, since a year." "That's why you're so desperate!" I said. "I'm desperate? You literally said you want to sleep with me!" He said.
"I was just kidding." I say. "Well, I'm not." He said and picked me up from the couch and walked towards his room. He dropped me on his bed. "Fyi, I'm still sixteen!" I remind him.
"And hot!" He said, "you've grown up too. I noticed. You have curves now." I can't breathe. Holy shit. He takes off his vest. He's got abs. His shoulders are broad. He's a man. Drop dead gorgeous man. I'm gonna die.
He lays on top of me, shirtless. Only in his boxers. And he kisses me. So deep. Our tongues intertwined. I breathe him in with every single breath.
He kisses my neck wet. He gestures me with his eyes to remove the top. I close my eyes in hesitation but I take it off. "You're 16 but you're a woman. Hotter than girls in their twenties! I swear babe!" He says and i shy away. He engraves his face in my cleavage and i laugh because it's ticklish.
He puts his hand beneath and unhooks my bra. I'm shook. I hold my hand in front of me as he removes it. "Move your hands babygirl!" He says but i don't. He pins my hands against the bed with one hand. "Remember, I don't need two hands to handle you, I'm strong enough!"
"Sure.. Daddy!" I said. He chuckled uncontrollably. He's literally laughing. "Say that again!" "Daddy?!"
He kisses me, I can't breathe. He unbuttons my shorts and few seconds later I'm in front of him, completely exposed. "May I?" He asks. "sure as hell"
"why me?!' he asked. "what!?" "why are you losing your virginity on me?" He asked. "Cause you're hot, now stfu, and fuck me!" I blurted out. "You drive me crazy!" He fingers me and finds out that I'm so wet already. He slides himself inside me slowly and I am about to scream but he grabs my mouth. "They're gonna wake up " he said.
I whimper under his hand on my mouth. "If it hurts let me know!" He loosens his grip on my mouth. And I sigh. He moves faster. I can't scream but only gasp for air and moan, not too loud. "Say my name"
"Jungkook!" I gasp. "Not that one, babygirl!" "Daddy!" I whisper in his ear. "A little louder, let me hear!" He said as he continues stroking me. "Daddy!" I say.
~
Next morning, thankfully, I returned upstairs in my outfit before anyone woke up. As we sit for breakfast, I couldn't stop smiling and I hide my face. I can't bare to look at Jungkook.
"Maybe you guys should do these get-togethers more often!" Jungkook said to Jissa. "I mean, last night was fun. The movie."
"We can do this all summer!" Jissa said. Omg I can't with him. "You guys, you can come over again next weekend?" She asked.
"Why weekend, it's not like you have school, you can come anytime." Jungkook said. And secretary winked at me. Fuck him. What a tease!

I've been looking forward to this one!!! major sibling angst with asshole jack and asshole Luke. more asshole jack though.
telling her brothers | eden and cutter
eden's pov
so cutter and I have been together for about 4 months and we're both leaving soon to go to our respective u18 worlds. I'm lucky and only have to go to wisconsin but cutter is going all the way to Germany.
jack and Luke don't know that cutter and I are together but mom, dad, and Quinn do. mom suggested having him over for dinner while the boys are home to maybe help ease the tensions from jack and Luke. and since we both have worlds soon, we thought that tonight would be a good time.
Quinn knows that cutter is coming for dinner but jack and Luke don't. I get dressed because I told cutter that I would get him at the rink after his practice.
as I grab my keys to leave, the boys are all in the living room, and ask, "where are you going? dinner's in like 45 minutes."
"oh I'm going to get my boyfriend. he's coming to dinner so you guys can meet him."
"you have a boyfriend?", "since when?", "do we know him?" are all asked at the same time by jack and luke. I smile and say, "yes, I have a boyfriend. I'm going to pick him up right now so you'll find out who he is when I get back. please behave and be nice."
"no promises." Quinn says smiling knowing that he's the only one who knows.
I roll my eyes and leave the house. I drive to the usa hockey arena and wait for cutter in the parking lot. I text him I'm here and just wait for him to be done. when I see him leaving the rink and walking towards my car, I get out so that I can hug him when he comes closer.
he smiles as he gets closer and leans down to hug me. he kisses my head and says, "hey baby."
"hi cut. how was practice?"
"good. gearing up for Germany. how was your day?"
"good. had a soccer workout this morning and then went straight to the rink with my dad and the boys to get ready for worlds. you ready for this?"
"yea. I just don't want Luke to hate me."
"he's not gonna hate you. I promise." I say to him. I press a soft kiss to his lips making him smile. he pulls me in for another hug and I ask, "do you want me to drive back or do you wanna drive?"
"I'll drive." he says and gets in the drivers side.
I get in the passengers seat and cutter immediately reaches for my hand to hold. he always has to be holding my hand when he drives. we make the short drive back to the house and i can tell that cutter is a little nervous.
I say softly, "it's gonna be fine cutter. it's not like you never met my family before. and it's just dinner. you know that my mom and dad love you so it's gonna be ok and Quinn is harmless.."
"it's not them I'm worried about eden. it's Luke. I'm dating the only hughes daughter and all of your brothers are top NHL players or prospects. it's totally different now that I'm your boyfriend. just let me be nervous in peace babe."
I roll my eyes and get out. I walk around to where cutter is and grab his hand leading him towards the door. I open the door and see jack, Luke, and Quinn in the same spot as they were when I left. Luke just turns his head and says, "hey eden. hey cut."
the boys are totally distracted and so I just bring cutter into the kitchen where mom is. I say, "hey momma."
mom turns and smiles. she says, "hi baby. hi cutter, it's good to see you again."
"you too mrs hughes."
"please just call me ellen honey. dinner will be ready soon. can you tell the boys."
I nod and take cutter to the living room with me. we sit down on the couch and find that the boys are deeply invest in a playoff game. it's like Edmonton and Calgary.
I say, "mom says dinner will be ready soon."
they look over at me and Luke says, "what's cutter doing here?"
"he's my boyfriend?"
"since when?" Luke says and I can tell by his tone that he's not a fan. I answer simply, "January."
"it's been 4 months?"
"yea."
"am I the last to know? because Quinn doesn't look surprised and I'm assuming that mom and dad know too."
"jack didn't know either so you guys are finding out together."
"that doesn't answer the question. are we the last to know?"
I nod and can feel the tension and anger from Luke. mom breaks the silence by yelling, "kids! dinner!"
"oh thank god." I hear cutter mutter to himself as my brothers get up and leave the room. Quinn gives me a small smile as he heads to the dining room. I force myself up off the couch and pull cutter too. I say quietly, "let's get this over with."
cutter follows close behind me with a hand on my lower back. mom and dad smile as we approach the table and she can tell that Luke is not happy. dad breaks the silence, "so cutter, how's everything at the program?"
"it's good sir. we're more gearing up for u18 worlds now but it's good."
"how's the team looking?"
"good. we have a really group of guys and we're all really excited about Germany and are hoping to medal for usa hockey. rutger was actually just named captain for worlds."
"that's good to hear. when are you guys leaving?"
"next week. thursday morning. I think it's the same day the women's team is leaving for wisconsin." he says. I nod and smile at him. he then adds, "I'm hoping the schedules line up so that I can catch some of the women's games but we're just gonna have to see."
mom and dad smile and Quinn does too. I hear Luke scoff and so I say, "what Luke?"
"nothing."
"you obviously have something to say so just say it."
"fine. why didn't you tell me that you were dating cutter? why did you tell Quinn and not me?"
"because I knew Quinn wasn't gonna overreact or try to meddle in my relationship."
"when I have I ever meddled in your relationships?"
I raise an eyebrow, "sophomore year when that kid from the football asked me to homecoming but then bailed on going with me 3 days before? I heard from his friends after the fact that you talked to him after practice one day and advised him against going with me or he was gonna get a visit from the u17s. you did the same thing in the spring for formal before covid hit."
"this is different because me and cutter are friends."
"no it's not. I don't have to tell you every little thing in my life. I'm almost 18 and going to college in 2 months for camp so I don't need to be telling you when I'm hanging out with someone or going on a date with them. just like how I don't need to do everything you do in your free time at umich. I'm a big girl and can make my own choices."
"ok settle down kids." dad says jumping in. jack mutters, "tell that to her. she's the one fucking luke's friend."
Quinn elbows jack and says, "not cool dude."
"say that a little louder jack." I seethe at him "I dare you."
"fine. I said that you should be the one to relax since you decided to fuck one of luke's friends."
"Jack Rowden watch your mouth and don't talk to your sister that way." mom scolds him.
"she's the one that's throwing her future away and then using us to get guys. it's not fair that we put in all this work to be good at something and she's just using that to get with a guy that's probably gonna break up with her as soon as they leave for college."
"Jack!" Quinn smacks him. even Luke is taken aback by jack's comment.
"you barely even know cutter jack. this has nothing to do with him and you know it. you're just pissed because I'm picking soccer and not hockey. everyone has expected me to play hockey and follow you guys because I'm a hughes but I want to play soccer. I want to do my own thing and make my own path because it's exhausting being the youngest hughes sibling, that only one who isn't playing hockey. I'm sick of seeing the headlines of 'eden hughes, the family disappointment' or 'eden hughes, are we sure she's not adopted' all because I decided not to play college hockey. leave cutter out of this, if you wanna be pissed at me for hanging up my skates then fine but leave him out of this because he has nothing to do with it."
"eden, it's fine. I kinda expected this."
"no it's not fine cut. just because he's pissed off at me doesn't mean he gets to talk to you like that. and suddenly I have no appetite anymore. excuse me." I say putting my fork down and going upstairs to my room.
a couple minutes later, there's a knock on my door. I hear cutter say, "eden, can I come in?" I open the door for him, and he hugs me tightly. I let out a shaky breath and relax in his hold. I mutter against his chest, "I'm sorry for them. they're assholes."
"it's ok. I'm not worried about them. are you ok?"
I shrug and just let him hold me for a bit before there's another knock on the door. Quinn says, "eden, it's just me. can I come in?"
"yea."
Quinn comes in and says, "I'm sorry about them. they really are asshats. and cutter, I'm sorry for how the spoke to you."
"thanks Quinn." cutter says. Quinn asks, "eden are you ok?"
"I'm just pissed off. they always do this."
"if it helps, mom and dad yelled them after you guys came upstairs."
"it does a little. I just wanna be with cut right now."
Quinn leaves quietly and cutter says, "wanna get out of here and get ice cream?"
"yes please. can we call Brady and rutger too?"
"if that's what you want?" he asks and kisses my forehead. I nod and he chuckles. "I'll call them. do you wanna change at all?"
"yea. do you have any hoodies with you?"
"there's one in the car. you know I'm gonna need some of these back before Germany." he says. I giggle and gently push him out of my room while I change. I throw on a random shirt and some shorts and then go out to cutter. we go downstairs and I say to mom and dad, "I'll be back by midnight. we're getting ice cream."
"ok. be safe." mom says and I smile as we walk out of the house to my car. cutter gets in the drivers seat and I can feel the anger and annoyance rolling off my back the farther I get away from the house.
jack and Luke are gonna have to do some serious groveling to apologize for how they treated cutter.

summary: your son Titus gets caught doing something in his room and it leads to a heartfelt conversation with his loving parents
yns pov
As I am making dinner, Danny and I's kids Titus, Remi, and Ian come in from school. Titus is 16 and drives everyone to a from school. Remi is 13, she's in eighth, and Ian is in fourth. "Mom I got an A on that civil war essay." Titus tells me giving me a kiss on the cheek as a greet. I nod in approval and give him a hug. "Hi Mrs. Wagner." Titus's best friend Ben says hello. He comes over almost everyday after school when they both aren't working so I wasn't surprised he was here. "Hey Ben! Everyone I went to Costco and get a ton of snacks so eat up. Ben i'm making tacos for dinner and you are more than welcome to join us."
Ben nods, going through the pantry with all the other kids. "Okay Mrs. Wagner I'll text my mom and ask." The boys head upstairs and Ian goes to watch tv in the living room. Remi sits at the kitchen counter. "Alexa play Taylor Swift radio please." Remi gives me a small smile for turning off my music. I giggle and continue cooking dinner. "Mom you know that eighth grade formal dance we bought a dress for? Conner V. asked me to go with him. Can I?" I look up from the cutting board. "I'm sure that's fine. I'll tell your dad cause I know you don't want to." She lets out a big sigh.
"Oh thank you mom." I laugh "Also how many Conners are in your class you have to give him a last letter?" Remi thinks for a second. "Em last count was three i think." I laugh again and Remi gets up heading to her room, probably to tell Conner V. she can go with him. As I'm finishing dinner it is now 6:30 and just on time Danny walks in from his studio day.
"Hey baby." Danny places a kiss on my head with a hand on my hip. "Hey! How was work and the boys?" I tilt my head onto his chest. "Oh everything was fine. We worked out the kinks for a few songs on the new album so all good!" I nod resting on his chest for a moment of peace.
Ian comes in from the living to greet Danny. He gives him a big hug. "Hey buddy how was school?" Danny asks ruffling his hand through his curls. "I was good. Ms. Parker said we have career day at school next Friday. Could you come and speak to the class. And maybe bring your guitar because that would be really cool." We laugh and Danny nods.
"Of course I can bud. Not a problem." I say, "Okay Ian go wash up for dinner. Pookie can you go tell Remi and Titus it's time for dinner. I think Ben is eating with us too." Danny nods and heads upstairs to get them. Upstairs I hear, "Remi girl, Titus, Ben, dinner is served." After a second I hear Titus scream, "Dad get out!!" a few seconds later Remi walks downstairs with a surprised and sad look on her face. "Rem what happened?" Remi shook her head like she wouldn't tell me and headed to the table.
Danny came down a few seconds later and I gave him a questioning look. "Um well I walk in on Titus and Ben doing....um....sexual activities." My jaw drops and I cover my mouth. Soon after Ben is coming downstairs. "Um my mom actually needs me home so I'm gonna go. Thank you anyways Mr.&Mrs. Wagner." Ben starts speed walking out but Danny says, "Hey ben, You're welcome back anytime just leave the door open next time." I give Ben a sympathetic nod agreeing with Danny. Ben's facial expression relaxes.
"Thank you guys. I told him he had nothing to be scared of. You guys are the coolest." Ben walks out and we say our goodbyes. I look over at Danny, "You see, we're still cool." He giggles and smiles, but then remembers how Titus must be feeling upstairs. I walk over to him and put my arms around his waist. "How about I have Rem and Ian start eating and we can go talk to Titus?" Danny sighs and nods.
Once I have the kids settles eating downstairs, we head up to Titus's room. I hold Danny's hand as we stand together outside of his room. I turn to look at Danny, "D, did we do something that made him think he couldn't tell us? I thought we were doing a good job." Danny tsked and lifts my head to look in his eyes. "Baby this has nothing to do with us. It's all about his feelings and anxieties around the subject. I promise." I nod and we turn to look at the door. "Okay I'm ready when you are." Danny finally knocks on the door softly.
"Please go away. I don't wanna talk about it dad." my heart hurts for him feeling this way. I start to say. "T we need to talk. No one is in trouble and we aren't mad. We just wanna talk baby. Please open up and let us come in." After about thirty seconds Titus comes to the door and slowly pulls it open. His face is red and puffy from crying.
Without thinking the mama bear in me takes over and I pull him into a bone crushing hug. "Oh baby don't cry. We love more than we could ever express." Titus let's his tears flow and hold me close to him. Danny wraps his bigger frame around our smaller ones and holds us in his arm. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I knew it would be okay I just wasn't ready. Please understand why I didn't say anything." We release from our hug and Danny begins to speak as he leads Titus to his bed so we could sit down.
"T we totally understand. We want you to know whoever you love or want to be will always be fine with us. Your mother and I want our beautiful baby boy to be happy whatever that means for him. The only thing we're sorry about is that it didn't happen on your terms." Titus smile and brushes Danny off.
"It's not your fault. Usually Ben and I hear you or mom but I guess we got a little carried away." We all laugh and I pull him into another hug. "Oh baby I love you so much. But so help me god if I catch you partaking in sexual ventures in my house while family is here ..." Titus swallows hard. "Yes ma'am, only when alone got it" We all have a laugh at what he said.
"Okay, go eat dinner with Rem and Ian. Leave your mother and I for a bit." Titus nods and heads downstairs to eat dinner. Danny scoots closer to me. "Ugh I'm glad that's over. We did well with our kids huh baby?" I nod and lay my head on Danny's shoulder. "Yeah we did. Oh by the way, Remi is going to the eighth grade formal with a boy named Conner" Danny pulls away from me and my head drops from his shoulder. He shouts,
"What the Fuck!?!?"

Tyler Hoechlin- Our Love
Late Night Talks
April 2012
Tyler and I seem to have our deepest chats late at night. Tonight is no different. We're laying outside looking up at the stars. We've been talking about our childhood memories, what school was like for us, but now it's turned into talking about where we see each other in 10 years time
"I'd like to have done more TV shows maybe some movies. I'd like to be married, have had children or having children"
"How many children would you like?" I ask
"2 or 3. What about you? Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?"
"The same really, maybe more films than TV shows. I really want to be a mom. My childhood was great, but I guess I would have loved at least one sibling so I'd like them same amount of children as you. I'd love to be married, have some dogs" Tyler then notices something in the sky
"Look a shooting star. Make a wish" Tyler tells me. I close my eyes and make my wish. I hope all of that can come true with Tyler. I open my eyes back up and look over at my boyfriend who's looking at me
"What?" I chuckle
"I hope we can be lying here in 10 years time with our children looking up at the stars thinking back to this moment"
"I hope so to"
May 2012
Once again we're having one of our usually conversations late at night. We've had a little bit to much wine, well I have and I'm a little tipsy, now we're cuddled up on the bean bag talking about what we think could happen after death
"Ghosts are 1oo% real"
"I'm not sure" Tyler replies
"They are, trust me. My parents house is haunted"
"How so?"
"Things would go missing"
"Right and that's not because you would put something down and forget about where you put it?"
"No" I gasp "why would you think that I'm the one forgetting where I put things?"
"Because Ive known you for 2 years now and been your boyfriend for over a year now"
"Whatever. Ghosts are still real"
"Of course babe" Tyler kisses my forehead while I pout a little
"I think we should go on a ghost hunt"
"Maybe one day we will"
June 2012
"What's your biggest fear?" I ask Tyler as we lay in the bath together at 1am since we had a late shoot
"Not being good enough" he sighs
"You put to much pressure on yourself. Your an amazing actor and a beautiful person inside and out. I love you”
“I love you too. What about you?”
“Having my heart broken, having that kind of trust broken”
“Promise I’ll never do either. Your it for me. The one I want to spend my life with”
“That’s not a proposal is it?”
“No” Tyler chuckles “not yet. One day though, but lest move in with each other first. Not right now maybe next year sometime”
“I’d like that”
July 2012
Next month Tyler and I will be going to Comic Con with our cast mates, we have decided to still keep our relationship quiet so we know we need to be carful during interviews especially because the fans want us to be dating
“When do you think we should announce or relationship?” Tyler ask me as we tidy up the kitchen before going to bed
“Not yet. I like keeping our relationship privet. Why you asking? Do you want us to go public?”
“One day, but only when we’re both ready”
“Let’s just see what happens after Comic Con. We don’t have to confirm anything yet”
“Good idea”
“Plus it might be fun to get the fans excited before we do confirm anything” I joke making Tyler laugh a little. We finish cleaning up before heading up to bed.

Oooh, okie I will send you an ask before bed then.
I keep thinking about both of us having long days and seeking solace in each other, but having absolutely 0 energy to do anything. I'd be waddling around the kitchen, doing what I can to help while trying to keep my heels from aching too bad. A short but conversation-filled dinner in the living space, a shared piece of cake I got from a student at work, a quick shared shower and we're in bed, snuggled up with my belly between us, our little nugget kicking and squirming up a storm. We'd both be tired and wonky, but the warmth and cozy vibes would be immaculate all the same
the long days filled with annoyances at work are all worth it in the end when i get to come home to you. though i am absolutely exhausted physically and mentally i am shuffling through the house to find you to give you a kiss on the cheek before my arms wrap around you. i can't give you a full hug now thanks to how big our little nugget has grown but i do over getting to feel your belly press against my softness. it isn't long before i'm also getting attacked by their kicks and punches so i'm kneeling down in front of you to give them much needed attention. i know their mom is doing everything she can for them and now she can take a load off so i can do what needs to be done before bed.
we'll do the little bit of cleaning while we're still coherent enough—i will be doing ll the bending and heavy lifting while you pick up around the house and come waddling over to help with putting away some laundry or dishes. in the kitchen we'll make a joint effort to preping the ingredients and i'll do the cooking if you are too tired to stand any longer. i love cooking so it doesn't bother me to be the one standing in front of the stove. we've got your chair pulled over to the side so we can talk about our days while you are off your feet for a few minutes. i take little breaks away from cooking to kiss the top of your head or place my hand on top of your belly to try calming the whirlwind movements of our little nugget.
when we've gotten through dinner with even more tired conversations in hushed voices we share that delicious desert that fills us up to capacity. i'll get the dishes in the dishwasher and do the kitchen clean up while you sit back and talk about what crazy things the baby did today. it's perfect, a happy contentment between the both of us as we cherish our time together before the baby is born. i try going on about having to put the baby's cot together when you're dragging me to the bedroom half awake at this point. the shower is quick but filled with gentle touches and even gentler kisses as i help you get washes up, dried off, and waddle walking with you to the bed.
i am far to lazy to get completely dressed. all that i manage is an oversized shirt and boxers before i've collapsed into bed. my eyes may be shut but i am aware the second your side of the bed squished down and you're shimmying into bed. my arms are open for you as you get situated, your belly pressing into mine as i wrap myself around you as much as i can. i can feel the kicks against my squishy stomach and an exhausted laugh tumbles out while i grunt out that it was bed time and they need to stop assaulting their mom and papa. it isn't long before we're both passed out—hands clasped together with twined fingers over your gravid swell with the tiniest movements before the too are asleep for the next few hours.
a perfect life. our perfect life.

hey hey Mae! I have a fic request for stelena. As you write such good fluff so I was wondering if you would write a stelena fiction where they have a child (preferably a daughter because father daughter relationship>>>) and it's the very first day of her school and it would be the first time she will be away from her lovely parents for such a long time and Stefan is apprehensive about sending her to school and is also kinda emotional. Elena on the other hand is mentally storng as she knew this day had to come, so she has to comfort both Stefan and their daughter. Both of them go together to drop her off in school and Stefan is also kinda crying in an adorable way, overwhelmed by the thought of her daughter growing up so fast 😅✨💕
First Day
Summary: Stefan being nervous about his little girl going to Kindergarten. Bittersweet!
Notes: I'm sorry this took me forever to write I haven't had the motivation! I hope you like it!
Chapters(s): 1/1
Warning: None just fluff and Stefan being nervous about his little girl going to kindergarten.
Characters: Elena Gilbert, Stefan Salvatore, their daughter Lexi Salvatore and Lexi Branson (mentioned).
Rating: General Audiences
Tumblr media
Stefan's POV
"Stefan honey, it's Lexi's first day of school. Which means you need to get up." Elena, says sitting on the edge of our bed.
"No, no it can't be today. She's not ready it can't be!" I say looking at Elena with wide eyes and uncover the covers as I spring up.
"It is today. And she is ready. Now get ready I'll be in the kitchen with Lexi." She says giving me a kiss on the cheek. I watch her leave and think to myself how can she be so calm and okay with this? She's our little girl she can't be going ro kindergarten yet it's too early! She supposed to stay little forever. Who am I kidding no she isn't but still it feels like it's too soon. She's growing up too fast. This makes me think of all of the good times we've had as a family. Like when I taught her how to ride her bike. She was so happy finally being able to ride without steering wheels. or when I made her first pancake for her. Her face lit up like magic. She giggled adorablely after eating it. I thought for a minute maybe this isn't a bad thing but I'm still going to miss her. It feels like she's growing up too fast but that's life isn't? Moving on, it goes by do fast but at the same you don't realize it until the moment passes by.
A few minutes later...
I walk into the Kitchen ready to go. But not truly completely ready for her to leave. But I still give it my all. Even through its first day and I don't want her to leave this means good things too. I thought to myself, today is a bittersweet day she's leaving but it means new beginnings for her and the start of a new day. I smile my brightest smile for her, my little girl, because today will be a good day even if she's leaving something good will come of it, I know.
I walk into the kitchen pretending to be dumbfounded and say "Where my little girl?" I look around as If I don't see her and shrug my shoulders.
"I'm right here, daddy!" Lexi says turning from the chair. I walk over and say "There you are!" I pick her up and twirl her around. She giggles happily as I do this. I put her down she smiles at me with the sweetest look. I bent down and ask "who's ready for her first day of school?"
"ME!" She squeals. And hugs me once again. Elena and I smile softly. Elena grabs her backpack and puts it on her back.
"Come on little lady let's get you to school!" Elena says as we walk to the garage to the car. Elena sits in the driver seat and I stap Lexi in the back passenger seat. And I sit I. The front passenger seat.I'm still anxious but I know she's strong like me and her mom and who she was named after.
After a few minutes of driving we arrive at Mystic Falls Elementary school. We get out of the car and Elena and I hold her hand. Elena bends down and gives her a kiss on the forehead. "Remember we love you so much and we're never far." She motions to her heart. Lexi smiles and hugs her mom tightly. "I love you too mama." Elena pulls away smiling proudly at her. Elena bends back up and I take her place. "I love you so much Lexi. And I'm so proud of you. Your growing up to be such a kind ans strong person just like your mom and the women you were named after, my best friend. Honestly I was a bit nervous too today."
"You were?" She tilted her head in confusion.
"I was. But it was only because I love you. Everyone gets nervous and gets scared of new beginnings, new chapters in our lives. Lexi smiles and hugs me. "I love you sweetheart." "I love you too daddy." She pulls away as she walks into the school. We both have tears in our eyes and Elena speaks up and says "I think we need to go to waffle house that will make it all better."
"I agree."
"Great minds think alike." She says as we walk to our car. Proud of our little girl.
The End
