A new generation enters Hogwarts in the year 2017. Corette Avery - pureblood - is sorted into Slytherin house in a turbulent and worrisome time for the wizarding community. As she becomes close friends with her dormmates - Albertine Rosier, Olivia Travers, Sybil Silvester, and Elizabeth Eldridge - Corette also becomes good friends with the close duo Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy. However, prejudice and discrimination are directed at the Hogwarts house as there is a shift in power in the wizarding world, pointing to Purebloods as the source for all the troubles caused in the world of magic. Slytherin house has garnered an all-time low of new students and the group of friends has to navigate the next seven years of Hogwarts with only each other to rely on. It's a battle for graduation, a fight to stay alive, and the challenge of life there after when all seems lost.

Gryffindor

Ryan Von Sales is a pureblood and the older brother of Jonathan. He has a clever white rat he calls Silvester.

It's no secret he's wishing to become a practicer of the Dark Arts, but since he's too lazy to study for anything that doesnt line up with his interests, he probably won't graduate anyway.

He hates Gryffindor with a passion and likes to brag that he comes from the bloodline of Salazar Slytherin, much to Jonathan's dismay.

Reyes Spencer is, much like their older sibling, always up for mischief. But unlike their sibling, they don't break the rules as they're scared that they might get kicked out of Hogwarts and become a shame for their family. They are very friendly  and own a barn owl gifted to them from the Katzenbachs.

Good friends with Stanley and Camille.

Dmitri Von Diamongal is a shy third classer, who's partially blind and has a specially trained nightingale that sits on his shoulder at all times.

His favorite subject is Astronomy and his self consciousness makes him mess up spells, since he'd much rather murmur them under his breath.

His parents (who were wizards) abandoned him, his father disappeared at his birth and his mother died a few years later, so he's stuck with his aunts, who love to fuss and scold him.
