Well hello there Caspian (hell yeah he's my ultimate crush, just look at him! So dreamy). Also, I've watched too much simplynailogical so everytime he showed up I was like BEYYYYYN! WHERE'S MAH TEA?

Fuck you Miraz

Loved Peter and Edmund's fighting skills, you could feel that they got trained and felt comfortable with swords

Also loved siblings' change from "the hell??? I'm a what now???" to "hell yeah we're back. MAKE ROOM FOR YOUR KINGS AND QUEENS"

Of course we had to have a conflict so Caspian and Peter don't like each other

The whole scene with the Witch was so chilling, like wot wot is she gonna come back? Caspian don't be an idiot pls, Peter no pls not you too. Yas Edmund save 'em!

The final fight was very pleasing to watch, clever tactics and it was so cool when trees showed up and just destroyed everything

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader:

Not so nostalgic as the previous two movies, didn't remember much

Eustace was very annoying

Loved how comfortable Edmund and Lucy were in Narnia

Also loved Edmund's respect towards Caspian. He was like "okay man you're the king, I'm just here to help" He's changed so much since the first part.

Finally Lucy does something! She fights with a sword, she's the first one to fight off her demons (Aslan helps of course), she's the voice of reason aaaaaand she shot the sea monster in the eye - and it was moving; u got some skill Lucy!

YAAAAS CASPIAN! UGHHHH SO HANDSOME! Just look at him!

I mean... them hair! Them beard! And those dreamy eyes! *btw do you guys have this feeling when you see someone and you're so shocked because you forgot how fucking attractive that person was? Yeah, that's how I feel about Ben*

Costumes were sooo beautiful!

Honestly I didn't really care about the plot, because I didn't really like the movie overall - I was there to see Caspian and Lucy being a badass (but the whole "I wanna be beautiful like Susan" thing was so frustrating)

Oh Edmund you silly boy, you had to imagine the most creepy/grose sea monster didn't you?

The CG was meh

Who cares about Eustace really?

I didn't like the star-lady, I felt sth was up when she told them the lords were fighting each other so they got cursed and in the previous scene it was showed that they didn't even had any kind of blades near them (their swords were still in scabbards)

aaaand Aslan Saves The Day no.3 (kind of) -> I appreciate how it was mostly about the siblings + Caspian defeating the evil and not Aslan, so that's a plus

The ending felt more definite rather than heyyy we got some story left (because who cares about Eustace)

Overall, I have a special place in my heart for the Narnia Chronicles (but only for parts 1 and 2) because they are tied to my childhood. It's so amazing how watching it makes me feel 10 again, how it brought back some good memories and how it made me realize I'd most definitely show it to my future kids (it has some nice life advices).

10 favourite MVs of 2017

A list of 10 MVs I liked a lot. Not definitive. Not to be confused with my fave 10 songs of the year which would be reasonably (tho not totally) different. I'm also totally aware this list is a victim of recency bias - SORRY OK.

Starting with Suzy’s Yes No Maybe bc I'm here for Wong Kar Wai vibes as Suzy beautifully possibly murders a man.

BTS - Spring Day I am limiting myself to one MV per artist because uhhh otherwise this post would be awash with BTS. Anyway this one is my fave of their numerous MVs this year and I have talked about it a lot before so.

  VIXX - Shangri-La I had a hard time picking between this and VIXX-LR's Whisper but in the end I like this song better. And I'm so damn happy this song and choreo is belatedly getting the recognition it deserves. Quick lemme link this fancam of their Music Core encore performance which is JUST SO FUCKING BEAUTIFUL.

  Dreamcatcher - Fly High I am 100% here for their witch girl academy vibes and would watch the anime. (I hope TRCNG's Spectrum is their rival boy school.)

  Zico - Anti This is super heavyhanded and OTT in its imagery but I am very into the way he leans into it. You want symbolism? You want self-reflexive commentary? GO ON THEN, HAVE IT.

  Sunmi - Gashina I was always into the #looks in this MV but I wasn't sure about the song at first - um holy smokes did it grow on me especially after seeing the live stages. Sunmi slayed me with her fingerguns and I was happy to die by her hand.

  IU - Last Night Story This is such a perfect match of song and look. I love these mod fashions and interiors; even the screen ratio fits the retro aesthetic.

  Monsta X - Dramarama Time travel, kendo boyfriends, tragic regrets, ughhhhh, this hits me at all my most vulnerable points and was such a no-brainer for this list. ALSO MX'S FIRST MUSIC SHOW WIN so therefore special and wonderful forever.

  Red Velvet - Peek-A-Boo I loved the Rookie MV but not the song. I loved Red Flavor the song but not the MV. Finally, finally, this one worked for me on both counts. This is of course an instant inclusion on my Kpop Ladies Destroying Men playlist (a work in progress).

  Uhm Jung Hwa - Ending Credit A last minute entrance to the list but I've had this song on repeat for the last few weeks. Again, like IU, this perfectly matches the song to the throwback look. I am so here for it.

  Honourable mentions

VIXX-LR - Whisper Because soulbond nonsense!!!

Seventeen - Don't Wanna Cry They had so many good MVs this year but this one was super aesthetic and for me was the real leap forward in their development rather than Clap.

Sonamoo - I Knew It I love the song so much and they're so beautiful and I love the choreo. Just the production design doesn't quite get there for me.

D.I.A. - LO OK Nothing captured the 90s better than this MV. The FASHION, oh my god, and the playfulness just really work for me. Just needed to be narratively stronger.

Yezi - Anck Su Namum This song is SO GOOD and she is SO HOT, I just don't think the concept is great.

Loona - Heart Attack Oh my god with these adorable girlfriends and their fairytale allusions, I cannot. The best Loona release so far IMO.

BLK - Hero They went so hard for their martial arts film concept - it's a splashy debut and I like it.

Spoiler review :Six of crows by  Leigh bardugo

My REACTION WHILE READING IT :oh god what have i done to myself ; what have i done to my sanity 

This bloody masterpiece gave me everything i wanted in this life !!i’m so glad like so amazingly glad i read the grisha trilogy first before diving into Soc , i  wanted to fathom the world deeply so i can enjoy the masterpiece as much as i should !! i had a strong feeling that SOC gonna be my truly bookish masterpiece and as always ; my intuition did not betray me !! As i always keep saying ; the most wonderful thing about books is that you can measure the smartness of the authors throughout their stories !! and hey let me tell u !! leigh has just  a hellish smart mind .

 So naturally i’m a sucker of villains and brutality ; i just enjoy so much the complexity of their personalities . somehow they have always this twisted back story that keep you on  the edge of your seat  and  let you attached emotionally to them .

So this book is about a six mind twisted  kick ass dudes mainly driven by greed and the unbearable obstacles they faced before joining the famous gang * the dregs * .

So the crew is basically guided by the loveliest viciously badboy ever and the breaker of hearts clearly !! KAZ BREKKER ; *breathhard* *controlurself* . How can i describe him ; how can i describe this fictional character that hollowed out my heart insanely !! 

As i mentioned before , i read this book, becuz of a fanart of kaz brekker i saw in insta and holy moly , i don’t regret a shred of my decision . can we sit a moment and admire this treasure !! i got a fetish for this .

He’s smart as fuck hot as fuck viciously mad as fuck greedy as fuck everything about him is attractive as fuck .

HE’S THE  BEST GRAY CHARACTER I’VE EVER READ ABOUT BEFORE LIKE REALLY . somehow leigh slay beautifully the villains in her stories * despite the harsh fate that faced the darkling in her first damn trilogy * more than the good dudes .

INEJ & NINA : THESE 2 PIES  HAD MY HEART ALREADY ? I LOVE THEM SO MUCH , how they are so sassy and ready to sacrifice everything for the sake of the friendship that combined them . i just love how everyone is so protective of the other !!Mattias :my cutie naive person that did not  betray my expectations of him without  forgetting  for sure wylan and jesper and how they were hilariously cute together and added more fun to the story .

Ladies and gentlemen pls it’s the proper time to discuss the main romance here : Okay i love slow burning romance and i hate insta-love shitty love triangles too .So this relationship had my heart ; my soul ; everything ughhhhh their scenes were so fucking emotional and let me weeping like an  idiot .Their relationship is GOAL !! i can’t wait for them in the second book ugh!

“I want you to stay. I want you to … I want you.” “You want me.” She turned the words over. Gently, she squeezed his hand. “And how will you have me, Kaz?” He looked at her then, eyes fierce, mouth set. It was the face he wore when he was fighting. “How will you have me?” she repeated. “Fully clothed, gloves on, your head turned away so our lips can never touch?”“I will have you without armour, Kaz Brekker. Or I will not have you at all.”

Guys this scene , like i wanted him so badly to do something  although his reaction was perfectly imperfect which is perfect *whutamisaying* !!! this just explain how kaz’s persona is so complex and explain pretty much how the things that endured before influenced on his emotions .

“Please, my darling Inej, treasure of my heart, won’t you do me the honor of acquiring me a new hat?”

OKAY i’m a sad potato right now !!! this ‘treasure of  my heart ‘ melted my heart !

THE PLOT TWISTS WERE PERFECT AND TOTALLY UNPREDICTABLE !! I LOVED EVERYTHING !!Especially the one about pekka rollins , i thought kaz killed him especially with the blood that was on his t shirt !! BUT IT TURNED OUT THAT KAZ WAS MORE SMARTY THAN THIS AND WANTED HIM BADLY TO SUFFER for what he’s done to HIS BROTHER JORDIE . i loved all the characters like even the villains even brum ; per haskel ; pekka rollins . they were so 3 dimensional… HOW LEIGH PORTRAYED THEM IS JUST PERFECT !

I adored the worldbuilding even more than the shadow and bone trilogy !! what are u waiting for just go read this bloody masterpiece !!

You blew me away with all the gorgeous descriptions of the setting, the view and the city lights and the sky and how the light was like, you know I am weak for that shit.
