Re: Soulmate Pain-Sharing. It could be pretty interesting, and I think I've seen some Superbat-specific fics out there using a basic premise of that. Unfortunately none that I can remember at this exact moment.

Conversely, Bruce's pain tolerance would also means he completely ignores more medium-low level type of chronic pains, which for people who aren't used to that type of constant background pain, it can be horrendously mentally exhausting as part of the mental bandwidth becomes dedicated to ignore it so one can function.

So observing how Clark, who already has a heightened level of sensory sensitivity, would try to manage it could be incredibly interesting. While he has admittedly very good filters, pain is, unfortunately, a bitch to manage.

Ahhh to add onto last anon abt scent and trauma- I read a fic once where in the author’s omegaverse, both alphas and omegas were oppressed and specifically for alphas they were thought of as like unthinking aggressive brutes driven completely by instinct, and the main character once they escape that society to a different kingdom has internalized that idea and keeps apologizing for the smallest things, play growls and being a tiny bit territorial and stuff like that. I can totally see alphas being told their scent is too strong, that having a scent makes them completely hormone driven and stupid, and so they learn to suppress their scent over time :( or omegas who also learn to scent suppress, because they’re also told they’re animalistic, or weak or submissive or things like that. In this universe betas we’re the majority of people (9/10 were betas) so I don’t have anything to add there but yeah. I’m misce but I also love thinking abt like. Imaginary politics/social issues/conventions if everything were as real as it is in stories.

personally I'm against harrassment of any kind, but if someone literally admits to reporting any pictures of women for sexual content, with their only excuse being they are attracted exclusively to men, despite tumblr not having an algorithm and them being in complete control of their entire feed by being able to choose who they follow, who they block, and their filtered tags, then get super defensive and tries to justify their actions when people point out how shitty it is to try and get people banned when they personally reblog something you don't like, while at the same time reblogging from racist homophobic fascists and alt right accounts who call people fags and the r slur when someone else points out that the fascists are indeed fascists....

you know what I'm willing to look the other way if you want to send they hate.
