I just recently noticed that MLB is like the stories I used to make up as a 7yo.

Includes over 20 animals (eh, animal based superheroes- tiny difference)

Keeps going on for an unholy amount of time with no glimpse of an ending

New characters turn up every 5mins (episodes) with no prior warning.

Random backstories out of the blue.

New plot pieces getting added only to never be spoken of again after 10min.

Random really dark and disturbing parts that have no lasting consequences.

Ends up in a completely different point from where it started.

Inconsistent characters who get redeemed or damned just cause

Honestly, the only difference is that in my stories the villains actually had to deal with karma.

#thank good im not the one who has to do the dishes #Carrots: chop carrots add to pan over medium heat with a stick of butter brown sugar honey and chili powder cook until soft #Asparagus: add to pan with olive oil salt rice vinegar paprika pepper and and garlic powder cook until soft #potato: rub down in olive oil salt parsley and chilli stick in oven at 400 for however long #do the the potatoes first #steak: sear in cast iron pan with butter honey garlic powder and lemon juice. move onto broiler pan with lemon slices on top. cook in oven #with potatoes until the center hits 130f or higher #its not a Difficult meal but by god does it fuck

What r ur thoughts on Lukzoe?

Here r mines:

First, If the writers want Luka to NOT be a threat to the L////S all over again, then I expect them to do it in some other way instead of making Luka fall for a diet Marinette

Second, if the writers did Kagami dirty by making it look like she hasn't moved on from Adrien by making her date his twin cousin, then i'm pretty sure their gonna pull the same stunt with Luka (Maybe that's why they gave Dietnette the same traits as Marinette. or they'll probably plot twist it and make him fall for socqueline because of obvious reasons)

Third, (which is probably the most obvious point) Giving that we were shown blatant, subtle but small hints (Y'know, the same type of shoes, highlighted hair, crazy accessories, rips in their jeans, same aesthetics and etc and etc and act) It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO obvious that their getting hooked up so that in the end, "EvErYOnE WiLL Be HaPpy In ThE EnD"

And the worst part is that most (Not all) Lukzoe shippers are L/////////S shippers who r suddenly pitying Luka after bashing him and calling him names like "GaRy StUe" or "ReBoUnD" or "ThIrD wHeEl" and starting to ship him with miss-Diet-Marinette-who's-only-purpose-is-making-Chloe-look-bad

And then there's Lukzoe shippers who only ship them just to spite Lukloe and Liluka or only because they have the same shoes, or because of their aesthetics

Yeah idk I don’t really have an opinion on the ship other than it‘s giving „shipping the leftovers so they don‘t stay single“.

I don‘t really mind them, they‘d probably just be a cute and unproblematic side couple but their dynamic is too boring and nonexistent for me to actually be invested, like yaass queens give us ✨nothing✨

At least Lu//cloe and Li//luka have some spice to them bc nice and chill person x morally problematic person is a funny dynamic which I can see people wanting to explore.

But honestly I‘d much rather see Luka with Zoe than Soqueline who‘s literally just a Mari clone😭

i had a really really awful workday but I got to come home and cook my all time favorite samefood :) it's just a pork and rice bowl but no matter how many times I eat it it always makes me feel so good and full and happy

#coated the pork belly in ginger salt and pepper rubbed it in and cooked it on low for about mmm 10 minutes? until the fat #rendered well. take it out and cook soy sauce until it thickens and gets hot enough to bubble #and then put the pork back in and coat it well preferably burning the soy sauce on it a little #the rice is just rice. butter and salt ^_^ always preferably mixed with the rendered fat and soy sauce left in the pan after the pork #is done

anyway here's my family's base recipe for em

ingredients: 1 medium courgette (ish) 1/2 cup flour 1 Egg™ 1/2 tsp salt veggitable oil (or canola oil) OPTIONAL - A/N we normally make this whenever weve got courgette thats about to go bad and we add whatever else is on hand. so you can put whatever you want in it but what we've done a bunch of times is 1/4 of a sweet onion, 1 red chili peppers, and garlic chives. that was rlly good but really you can put whatever

directions: 1. cut ya zucc into ~8 oz of matchsticks 2. sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of salt onto it and just let that chill for a while (like 10 minutes). squeeze the matchsticks so they let go of the juice they've secreted. 3. in a dif bowl put yr flour and Egg™ and the zucc's secreted juices and mixy mix (lumps are ok. lumps are good. life is lumpy. embrace the lumpage.) 4. put the courgette into the lumpin bumpin panckate batter 5. OPTIONAL add the goofy lil optional seasonings from the optional bit in the ingredients 6. put 2-5 tbsp (depends on the size of your pan. you are NOT frying them youre just putting oil in there for the vine. so only use a lil coating on the bottom of yr pan) of oil into a pan and then put the batter in nd just make pancakes like normal. 7. eat with soy sauce 7.5 om nom

I personally have an issue with miraculous and it's queer representation. It's definitely bait. We point fingers at things and say it's bait alot, but I think this is legitimate queerbaiting. I just don't like it.

Caline's kiss with her partner shouldn't really make us this happy. More power to you if you like it, but her scene can be too easily edited out for my enjoyment of it. In my opinion, it's just trying to placate us with a small 2-6 second clip of her kissing her partner so we could shut up. I don't like it.

I share the same sentiment that some other people have that her scene should've been replaced for confirming the show's already somewhat hinted at queer couples/people. Marc and Nathaniel should have scenes that feel more romantic with each other than just... them sitting next to each other... and us freaking out over seeing them together. Juleka and Rose's songs should've just been about them loving each other, not how they "love everyone." Since they're trying to make Zoe a more prominent character, that clip of her talking about her rebound crush should be released in whatever episode that was in.

I like this shows concepts, though yes, these last two seasons, in my opinion, are bad, I still want some nice stuff from it. I don't think it's too much to ask for a bit of effort from the writers and producers. We're in an Era where representing queer audiences has to be pushed by show writers because it's important. I'd accept these unconfirmed crumbs if it were still 2018. That's why I was so excited when Reverser first came out, and Thomas announced that Marc was designed from his genderfluid bi friend. Cause that was when it was a bit rare to find queerness in cartoons. But this just feels like the same tiptoeing around the issue from back then. Maybe even worse, because he just keeps saying on Twitter to "look between the lines" and "watch slowly" when people ask for direct answers on Julerose and Marcnath. It's incredibly easy to interpret this as a regression of progress for this show to have real representation for us, and I definitely don't like it.

This show is definitely being held back by its terrible tv-y7 rating. Because that's the only reason I can even think they’re walking on eggshells when the subject of parent's going to jail, abusers not being properly addressed and, most importantly, the major backtracking in queer representation is so prominent.
