Also it's depressing to see every day how journalists of Palestine die trying to report on ongoing genocide on their people, how writers and artists of Ukraine die trying to protect our country from genocide, how people die in their homes from missiles every day, every night, in their sleep, on their way to work, but on the internet people are trying to one up each other on who cares more. For god's sake.

These past days I've been seeing posts about a writer who just a day before being killed in combat was posting on IG that he's worried his poem book isn't gonna sell well. A few months before that, a writer-journalist was killed while reporting on the battlefield, while her works were presented in another country. A year or so ago, children books writer was found dead in mass grave in a city next to mine with traces of torture. Famous artist died from stress and old age during occupation. Part of the crew of a singer was killed by a missile while preparing for a concert. My brother in law was killed in march 2022. his "remains" were buried only last month, after we got confirmation that yeah, those two bones that were found in decayed heap left by rusians did in fact belong to our relative who we hoped was alive for all this time. People just keep dying. And that's just what's close to me, what I can't forget. Many more people are affected by this war, who also can name their share of deaths that affected them. Many more people in Palestine who can do the same. But fucking, again, for people on the internet it's "oh, it's Ukrainian flag in username, must be a stupid moron"; "oh, it's a Palestinian flag in username, must be hoping onto trend" I really wanna kill myself sometimes from shit like this. God.

No one is able to help every cause, why you are trying to bring another cause down. For fucks sake. Do better for people you care about, don't do worse for those you dismiss. Come the fuck on

And of fucking course as soon as I finished writing this, an air raid alert was declared. For FUCKS sake. I'm really becoming religious with all those prayers to god so he can protect me; I don't have the mental energy to not hope for a miracle.
