In celebration of reaching 900 followers!

Ever since I started playing the Globetrotter challenge by @moonfi; I've been creating a collection of UI Widget style templates. This collection includes 20(ish) different templates for you to use in your gameplay screenshots. I'm hoping I did my best to make this as user-friendly as possible; but if you have any questions or notice something off - don't hesitate to message me or send an ask!

[Terms of Use] Do: Use & edit as much as you want and/or know how to. Don't: Reupload & claim as your own. Do: Link back to this post if asked where they're from.

[You Need] Fonts: April | Lemonmilk | Kids Handmade TS4 Icons: deathbypufferfish | w-sims | TheSimKid (I've had L'Universims' icons before they were hacked but as far as I know they've moved to a new website so download from there at your own risk.)

[Tips & Hints]

Open the awkwardwhims psd collection file in Photoshop, then drag & drop the folder or group of templates onto your image.

The photo album template was inspired by @folkbreeze (definitely check out their resources, they're all so nice!) & other various examples I saw online.

Resize the template by selecting the folder as a whole; resizing individual layers may makes things unaligned.

Feel free to change background colors/fonts/etc as much as you want.

The text message template has 3 styles: sender, green receiver & blue receiver. There are also reaction icons & a separate reaction bar.

For the to-do list template I didn't include every aspiration icon (I was trying to keep this file as small as possible) but you can download this pack by @deathbypufferfish that has all the aspiration icons you'll need. However, it may be missing some of the newer aspiratons.

When adding photos (album cover/recent photos/etc) use a clipping mask.

The weather template includes all the different weather icons, so be sure to hide/unhide the one that applies.

For the new transaction template, make sure to only change the number of the price otherwise the Simoleon symbol will get changed to Times New Roman.

The notification message template is for life events, bad events & default game notifications (ie: legacy player, etc).

Daycare Attendant Base/Template

So I’m in the process of designing some of my own DCA OCs, but I noticed that there doesn’t seem to be any existing bases or templates that are close(r) to their in-game proportions. So I decided to make one! While I’m not the greatest artist and there are plenty of things I’m not 100% happy with (please for the love of god ignore the spelling on ‘palettes’ I AM NOT RE-SAVING ALL THE FILES AGAIN), I think this could be a useful resource for anyone else to use!

I made two versions since I noticed that a fair number of fans liked to give them anthro paws, and while I’m not an anthro or furry artist by any means, I think it came out really good!

Rules to follow when using this resource:

Please credit me. Using this base for personal or commission/adoptable use is totally fine, but please tag me or link to the base!

Do not re-post or sell the base itself, this is a free resource for anyone to use.

That’s it tbh. Go wild, mash this with other bases, trace over it, print it out, make a bajillion OCs—just have fun with it!

Twin carrd templates based off of a survey where I let tumblr pick which features to include in a carrd build. They are in the exact same style / palette, but 𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐘 is the multimuse version while 𝐋𝐀 𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐀 𝐍𝐔𝐎𝐕𝐀 is the single muse version.

✧ Features: A clean carrd layout, semi-minimalistic. Highly customizable. Tested to be mobile friendly but that may vary by device. Both contain a built in page for guidelines, a page for affiliates and npcs, a page for headcanon links, bio pages, and sub-pages for a blogroll and content warnings. The multimuse version includes a muse roster with gallery-style lists and a condensed bio page that can easily copy/pasted as needed per muse (optionally). The single muse version includes a slightly expanded bio page. Elements are linked via style to make changing the colors easier. These are templates so the demo graphics do not come with them by default, but they can be downloaded here if you wish to use them. a warm, nostalgic google doc template inspired by private detectives, and crime investigation! this template follows the collection of information on your muse from the lens of a private detective, through things such as letters, newspapers and official medical documents. this template features space for long writing as well! the template and a full page-by-page preview can be found in the link above or in the source code.

features:

8 unique 14" x 8.5" pages, all with hand-crafted full-page background images

short and long sections, an extra long backstory section, and multiple spaces for pictures

a large array of thematic page types and elements — letters, post-it notes, newspaper clippings, and evidence sheet which can be used to include ooc information or give more atmospheric depth to the template

some elements (muse pictures, text on backing post-it notes, date on envelope, and items in evidence ziploc bag) that can be customized in google drawings

placeholder images from mike von on unsplash — please change it out to fit your muse!
