Shanks( crew or just Shanks), Mihawk and Whitebeard's (crew) with a YN who have ADHD/ASD, and who therefore avoid going out on the ship for fear of causing problems and who feel excluded because of the problems
─Red Hair Pirates, Mihawk & Whitebeard Pirates x adhd/asd!reader
─Summary: You think all you're doing is causing trouble, but they just don't care, they will always be there for you
─Warnings: none
─ You began to lock yourself inside the ship after in one of your spontaneous hyperactivity attacks you almost made everyone burn.
─ Also, sometimes it's difficult for you to communicate with other people, although Yassop can help you with this because it's usually with him that you go out to buy supplies, you feel that you are simply useless for needing someone to help you have a minimum of communication with other people.
─ So you thought you wouldn't cause trouble if you just stood aside, not doing tasks related to going out or shopping, not rushing into battle as carelessly as you'd like.
─ Shanks immediately noticed your absence, because you always made his day when he heard you babble everything that caught your attention in the daily newspaper, it was a routine that you followed religiously.
─ He thought that you had simply gotten sick at first, it wouldn't be the first time that you forget that some islands have a drastic change in temperature, your mind only worries about snowflakes at first and then it's too late.
─ But Benn had seen you hanging around the deck while they had some small battles, you usually liked to participate, even though your mind wandered sometimes, his pistol always stopped the guys who tried to take advantage of your distraction.
─ Lucky Roux also noticed that you didn't go to the card competitions that you used to like, and he immediately told his captain, they all seemed to notice how you were getting further and further away from them and preferred to spend time alone.
─ Shanks took care to nip all those negative thoughts in the bud, they weren't bothered by your little peculiarities or 'uncommon' habits, what's more, they thought they made you unique in a certain way, and they admitted that even they need help from other people sometimes, so you shouldn't fight your impulses alone, they are there for you.
─ It's very easy to notice how you distance from him because there are practically three of you in the big castle after Zoro left.
─ Normally he would find you organizing everything that bothers you next to Perona, your mind just calms down when you see the shelves organized in a certain way.
─ Or every weekend you and she get manicures without fail, a little habit you can't stop doing.
─ He also usually sees you running through the immense corridors or even finding you lost because you forgot where you were going in the first place and those corridors are like a maze.
─ The fact is that one day you began to think that your attitude was somewhat irritating to him, you interpreted his silent personality with that and your mind always takes the most negative path of things.
─ You used to like traveling with him, but you cut that habit so fast that he was even more surprised, you loved going out exploring or having fights with other pirates.
─ When he asked you about why you lied about changing some habits in your unwavering routine, this man didn't believe a single word and his single look made you so self-conscious that you ended up letting go of everything you thought.
─ You earned a heavy sigh from him and a few pats on the head, he clarified that you were not irritating, neither your habits nor your impulses bothered him at all.
─ At first you didn't believe him, he had to drag you out of the castle by force so that you could accompany him to the nearest island to do the shopping, luckily your mind just managed to wander long enough in the market to let the whole thing slide.
─ Although he had to get you out of the castle more so that you ended up forgetting the thoughts that you were a bother to him.
─ You thought that everyone ignored you or did not take you into account because sometimes you had caused problems on some islands.
─ Fault for distracting and starting a fight with the wrong people, fault for not being able to express yourself well on some occasions, you thought that all you were doing was putting others in unnecessary trouble.
─ Even though everyone seemed to not care what made you think they were simply ignoring you, it made you feel even worse that they were the ones who got you out of all the trouble you accidentally got into.
─ You decided that the best thing would be to lock yourself in your room or not come back down from the ship at all so you wouldn't cause problems.
─ The thing is that Izo noticed your state as soon as he saw that you skipped some of your daily 'rituals' that were something obligatory to do in your day to day, Thatch also noticed how you stopped wanting to go shopping with him, normally you liked it browse the small shops with him.
─ Ace, who was the one who accompanied you in your moments of hyperactivity with your silly ideas, he also noticed how you resisted the urge to jump into an adventure without knowing what fate would bring you.
─ Marco was also surprised that you didn't go to his office to order his medical equipment in that exact way to please your mind, you always knew when something was moved one more millimeter to the right or left.
─ Everyone talked to Whitebeard about your behavior, they panicked when they thought you wanted to leave the crew, but the captain calmed everyone down saying that he would talk to you about it.
─ You simply couldn't hide how you felt about the situation to your father figure so you let your concerns about whether or not you were annoying come to light, earning you a laugh from Whitebeard.
─ He put you on his lap and explained that their lack of interest in your problems was because they weren't even problems for them, and your habits weren't irritating at all, you're part of the family and they would defend you to the death if necessary.

empress—chapter 1059 spoilers
Great chapter, y'all!
Katakuri and Oven are fighting due to Caesar Clown's very dubious gas.
And it's reunion time! Some (many) of my favourite men in the same chapter (and I don't mean Lucky Roux).
Look how fine Marco is, and love that he's rubbing in the 15 6 year age difference between him and Shanks, and love the same-age (as Marco) fifty-year old Beck! (gonna get used to calling him Beck) not backing Shanks up. I love Marco. I love Beck. And I love Shanks, so all good.
Of course, there were a few incidental scenes in which Law and Marco appeared, and my fan fiction can fill in the rest, but I know a lot of us were jonesing for a 3 doctor scenario. At least Marco and Chopper worked in tandem (but the Smile victims? Now what?).
Guess Beck doesn't mind playing babysitter, OR it's not quite the role he has with Shanks (nudge, nudge, wink, wink).
There was the Ace remembrance scene and all (above), and of course it's important. Jinbe and Marco speaking as if two years ago was fifty, but shell shock is a lasting affliction.
And you thought that was interesting, but how about...
Boa Hancock!
and
Koby
and
Blackbeard! and what does his say above about this new pacifista (seraphim—great name)
That's what they managed to do with King's DNA, possibly? Vegapunk? Blackbeard's aware of the Lunarians, it seems, so I know there are some theories out there about Rocks D Xebec and Lunarians...and there are theories linking Blackbeard to Rocks as well. PX, or are all pacifistas with those initials (I see that they are. PX- and a new letter for whichever model). But that's not all. Very few can fight Teach's devil fruits (plural!) and
Boa finds herself in a pickle, BUT
never fear! Rayleigh is here! (Marco, Beck, Shanks and Rayleigh. Be still my beating heart). AND that's not all folks. This is the reveal of the century (or one of them)
Shakky was the former Amazon Lily empress and ex-captain of the Kuja pirates!!!! *Kermit flail*. I did not see that coming, but I'm sure some fanfiction writers somewhere did! Ahhh. Such good news, and I think with Oda feature prior generations so much, and them saying how tired they are and they can't fight any more (the men, anyway), that they're still sure to be around, even if Luffy & co play the main role. It is Luffy's story.
Man, I wanna see Shakky in action in the past. AND did you see this on Amazon Lily?
Luffy's got his own billboard, and Hancock's solution to everything is to marry him :-).
And lastly, this doesn't bode well:
Oof. No wonder they couldn't fight them originally.
and, the Rocky Port Incident. Ah, what happened? Blackbeard was there too, and Law, as we know.
Oh, and Koby got captured by Blackbeard (Rayleigh's negotiations), and Yamato is staying in Wano to take care of Momonosuke, kinda.
Great chapter especially for the peonies!

"Some" Tarantula Crew Headcanons
GENERAL
ROOM-SHARING SETUP
Lillian, Mary, Talapio, and later Auburn
Boar, Dr. Mort (although he spends most nights working in his office), and later Thade
Schot and Percy
Conea sleeps in the water
HEIGHTS
BOAR IS HUGE. The wiki says that if he was a puppet in the show, he would have been almost as tall as Janice, which would make him, like, twice as tall as the other puppet characters?? So I headcanon him to be like, over 7 feet tall. A literal giant. Why not?
Everyone else on the crew is also fairly tall. Thade is quite tall (but by a normal amount, not tall like Boar), and Lillian and Schot are a few inches shorter than him.
Red Mary isn't short by typical standards (she's like... 5'4" I guess?) but seems short compared to the rest of the crew.
Dr. Mort is SMALL. He's shorter than Mary and just barely taller than Percy (but he's catching up to him!)
Percy is at a normal 12-year-old boy height. Auburn is a little shorter.
Conea is also probably 7 feet tall, but that's average for a merman.
Disclaimer: I'm bad at visualizing height, so if this is confusing... that's why
LILLIAN
Strong sense of justice and what's right.
Has a code about paying back debts. Like, the only reason she let Mary join the crew was because she (supposedly) saved them once. This is also why she lets Dr. Mort stay even though people have tried to get him fired (he's saved their lives multiple times and she thinks it would be wrong).
Her reason for becoming a pirate was pretty silly and not thought through (teenage/young adult rebellion), but it worked out for her.
I imagine her to be very tan and have lots of freckles.
Feral.
Follows her gut rather than common sense sometimes.
THADE
Talks a lot. Constantly asks questions. Annoys people.
He’s normally quiet and shy but talkative towards people he knows well.
Manic pixie dream boy! He and Lillian are manic pixie dream people to each other.
Is Percy’s cool older brother/cool young uncle figure
He's the scout of the crew.
(There are other parallels between him and Percy as well)
Was a tailor (or tanner? I'm not sure) before he joined the crew.
RED MARY
She's the first mate.
She hides the full extent of her powers from the crew.
Her normal-power-level magic causes her to generate fire in the air (like that Dragon Ball fireball thing), but her super powerful magic actually causes fire to come out of her skin.
(CW for really severe burns) Her hands and arms are badly burned because of it, and she's missing fingernails and some parts of her fingers.
And in the future (like when the show of Candle Cove takes place), her hands and forearms (plus some other parts of her body) are just bones. Like she burned all her flesh off. (CW over)
Either she is able to ignore pain, or she got Mort to do brain surgery on her so she no longer felt pain.
She’s both smart and calculating but also prone to following her impulses.
She doesn't have any complicated motivation for being evil, I don't think. She just likes to burn and kill and destroy for fun. Like a child burning ants with a magnifying glass.
My voice headcanon for her is Amanda Palmer.
PERCY
Lillian assigned him the duty of teaching Thade about how Candle Cove works (because everyone else are adults and have things to get done) and they’re close because of it.
Reckless. Needs to be supervised. Causes Schot so much anxiety.
Stands up for himself. Would get into arguments with grown adults.
Kind of a little shit, honestly–
Loves and relies on the crew more than he’d like to admit.
BOAR
Sometimes frightens people due to his absurd height but is very soft and kind.
His relationship to Lillian is that they were friends (like found-family siblings, basically), and he took care of her after her parents disowned her.
If you meet him, he's your friend. You don't have a choice.
There's a running gag of him acting more fatherly towards Percy than Schot. Like, Schot would swear, and Boar would gasp and cover Percy's ears. Things like that.
The story of how he got his nickname is embarrassing and he gets flustered if people bring it up.
Used to be a whaler before he became a pirate.
SCHOT
Everyone else is sort of suspicious of Red Mary, but Schot is the only one who seriously distrusts her. He's spoken to Lillian about it, but she thinks that it's just his hypervigilance/past trauma causing him to see proof that isn't there.
He was imprisoned by the NPHC once but (barely) escaped. The scars over his eyes are from the Earl of Wax and his Freddy Krueger torture glove.
He's blind in one eye (caused by Earl torturing him).
Doesn't really enjoy being a pirate. He's sick of all the violence and danger and just wants to settle down and live safely with Percy.
The only reason he's with the crew is because the navy is after him and he knows he can't live anywhere in Candle Cove without them eventually finding him again.
His dolphin necklace used to belong to his wife.
CONEA
I feel bad for him because he stays in the water and can't come on deck and interact with the crew.
He probably doesn't mind though. He seems like a loner/introvert.
Used to be part of the Amantis military and developed explosives for war. He regrets this.
Was outcast from Amantis for rebelling against the government and whatever wars they were fighting.
Secretive about his past
I am compelled by the idea of him having, like, mechanical legs? And being able to walk around the ship and interact with people, but I don't know. I think him staying in the water the whole time could be compelling too if it's done well.
DR. MORT
Acts aloof, like he's just an employee of the crew and not actually part of the crew/"family".
Very… lowkey. People barely notice when he is or isn't around. Hides out in his office all the time unless there's a crew meeting or something.
Once the crew visited Banana Land to get fruits, and then they left, and then like 3 hours later, they realized Mort was gone and that they had left him there--
Soft voice. Pleasant smile. Actually has a sort of comforting presence if he's not operating on you.
He weighs about… 10 pounds? (he is just a large ragdoll) and has been blown/thrown off the deck of the ship more than once.
Do you know how stuffed animals that have been around for generations get skrunkly and pilly and sort of gross? That's kind of how he looks. (Look up "Too Much Love photo series" for examples of what I mean.)
Everyone there sort of dislikes (or is scared of) him, but he isn't bothered by it.
TALAPIO
She didn't have human-level intelligence until she got light magic. She was just a normal (but large) spider.
She was previously kept as a pet by a powerful light magician who gifted her their powers on their deathbed.
Her powers: being supernaturally smart, mind-reading, predicting the future, knowing things that are otherwise impossible to know, glowing.
Her role in the crew is a seer. Like, she finds hidden treasure and stuff like that.
The crew calls her Tilly for short.
She CAN communicate with people somehow even though she can’t talk. She writes or uses Morse code or something.
She either "left" when Mary joined the crew, like the wiki says (Mary knew that Talapio knew her true intentions and killed her before she could tell anyone), or Mary just threatened to kill her if she told anyone in order to keep her quiet.
AUBURN
Oh, you thought PERCY was a little shit?!!
I like the idea in the fandom of her being adopted. Like, Lillian just found her someplace. (I don't think Lillian would have a whole baby in such a dangerous environment.)
What if... she was a runaway?
Around 10 years old.
Lillian, Thade, Boar, and Schot are all her parents.
Took on personality traits from all the crew members.
She and Percy disliked each other at first but eventually became close siblings.
There are parallels between her and Janice. Like, with her being separated by her family and then being raised by a pirate crew. Janice reminds Percy of her in ways.
Has a strong sense of justice that Lillian taught her.
I'm on the fence if I want her to be the same character as Flaming Dragon from the Hogs Crew. Like, I think it would be compelling if she learns she has fire magic after having been traumatized by fire before. But I also like Flaming Dragon and want her to be her own character with no backstory I have to take into consideration.
