No to zaczynamy!

Podejście drugie:

Jako osoba żyjąca już od lat na Chorwacji, postanowiłam podzielić się swoimi subiektywnymi odczuciami i spostrzeżeniami na temat tego kraju, najbardziej skupiając się na Dalmacji i jej sercu - Splicie

Zapewne zabrzmi to trywialnie, ale witam na moim blogu! W życiu się nie spodziewałam, że się za to wezmę ale jednak. Teraz do rzeczy, choć nie wiem do końca czy da się ładnie ująć wylewanie szamba (w przypadku nabrzeża do morza)… Nie chodzi mi absolutnie o bluzganie, obrażanie czy ujmowanie komukolwiek i pomijanie pozytywów. Mój zamysł jest taki, żeby opisać niepodkoloryzowaną rzeczywistość, której będąc na wakacjach w takich miejscach, nie widzimy albo nie chcemy widzieć. Usłyszycie ode mnie o rzeczach absurdalnych, ciekawych, załamujących, oburzających ale mam nadzieję, że i na optymistyczny akcent miejsca będzie sporo. Zarówno metaforycznie jak również dosłownie wspomniane szambo się wyleje… Jestem uprzedzona do blogowania, bo dość często blogi i blogerzy zachowują się jak kółko wzajemnej adoracji albo dokładnie przeciwnie nie szukam przyjaciół ani wrogów - Tak wiem, raczej to możliwe nie jest. Choć nie byłam nawet pewna w jakim języku pisać, to i tak, jak to mam w zwyczaju, po prostu będę robić swoje i zobaczę co się stanie. Jeżeli się spodoba to fajnie, jak nie to też. Co mi tam!

What’s Here Wednesday: TMC PSA: Field Guide to Non-Book Materials

Kicking off our TMC Public Service Announcement (PSA) feature of What’s Here Wednesday is a great reminder about what we have. The TMC is more than just books! It’s a diverse jungle filled with a wide variety of fascinating and differing species. There are toys, kits, games, math manipulatives and more to see as you explore the canopy of the shelves. In addition, there are STEM kits, packets of primary sources, flannel board kits... puppets... and more! YES, you can actually borrow any of these materials and take them to your placements.

You can learn all about these non-book materials in the TMC Nonfiction+ Non-book section of the TMC Guide. Also new this year, TMC Nonfiction has had a small rebranding to TMC Nonfiction+ (Nonfiction “plus”!) to better label it based on what’s actually in that collection. Along with non-book items, Nonfiction+ features some other interesting genres, such as poetry, folklore, and other literature.

Keep an eye out for more TMC PSA posts throughout the academic year to uncover the hidden mysteries about materials, policies, and other essentials of the TMC!
