Hi there!! I was wondering if you could shed some light on South Node Synastry in seventh house Scorpio (We both have mars conjunct pluto, Scorpio in my 7H & her 8H) I barely see any information on this sadly. thank you so much for your time :)!

Heyy, sorry I’m not really good at synastry so i don’t have much to say lol.

But someone having their south node in your 7th house could mean that they naturally embody the traits that you need from a partner to balance you out which could be the reason why you were drawn to them in the first place. Scorpio relates to being intuitive, observant, passionate, mysterious, etc.

And if their south node is in your 7th house, then their north node is Taurus in your 1st house. I know a lot of ppl love 1H synastry, but it can sometimes get overwhelming because it’s like the energy is overflowing like a liquid inside of a cup, which can get messy… for example, we need our partner to exhibit the energy of the 7H in order to balance out our energy in the 1st house. It’s like a seesaw and if all the weight is just on one side, the shit is just gonna stay down.

So having SN in Scorpio means that your partner came to this lifetime with those scorpion traits but the NN in Taurus energy is insatiable and may overshadow the SN if they aren’t balanced.

If you’re a Taurus rising, that means you’re ruled by Venus and so you may love to indulge in life’s pleasures (If you’re not this kind of Taurus, let’s just use this for an example anyway lol). So let’s imagine you love to shop and eat and spending money.. then you have a partner with NN in Taurus who also loves to shop and eat and spend money. The NN energy is insatiable so it can sometimes take shortcuts to get what it wants and may therefore exhibit the negative energy— for lack of a better term— of a sign.

So again, imagine if you are someone who is indulgent and then you have a partner who is the same way and can sometimes be 10x worse. This can result in missing bill payments, having to cover for them financially all of the time, wasting money, etc.. when the reason you were probably attracted to them in the first place is because they seemed like they had power and control over their life (7H Scorpio).

Overlay Observations #1

Note: keep in mind that aspects and signs are also very important when reading synastry charts, and it cannot be left aside to prioritize overlays.

Sun in 1st house: this is a tricky overlay for any type of relationships, because it will depend a lot on the strength of the sun in both charts. It can either become the type of relationship where the Sun becomes an excellent guide for the house person to discover their creativity, skills, and core self. They will feel more confident and with an extra shine next to the planet person. As if a disco ball was turned on in a dark room, and there’s a spotlight right on you. The house person will also help the Sun stick to their core principles and feeling comfortable in fully expressing themselves with little judgment. Now, that is the positive expression of this overlay if both individuals are able to avoid the elephant in the room. Yes, the ego. The sour side for the house person is to feel overshadowed when they are next to the planet person, and it can therefore trigger an unnecessary need of competition that could easily ruin the relationship. It is also difficult for both individuals to ignore the triggers that they cause in each other due to the amount of similarities that they share. Their own toxic or unhealthy habits will be noticeable to both, but so will the positive ones as well. It really all boils down to how comfortable both individuals feel within their core self. If either has very low self esteem, it will be harsh to feel at ease with each other. Overall, it can be very helpful and rewarding to encounter each other and see themselves in a mirror for good or bad, especially for the house person since the planet person aspects their 7th house of relationships.

Venus + Mars in 1st house: this one takes the cake for "I saw, I wanted, and I conquered" with the planet person being the one who quite literally charges towards the house person with A LOT of passion to the point that it can be overwhelming if there isn't any other aspect to support it. The planet person recognizes in the other all the qualities that they look for when it comes to relationships and the way they move through life. They both feel extremely physically attracted to each other. Instant magnetism. They are able to see the house person as someone who naturally matches their own sexual energy, and it feels like a no brainer to desire closeness. If Saturn or any other strong aspect/overlay isn't involved in any way, it might be a short hot fling. You will both enjoy the insane chemistry and common ground, and unless Pluto, Rahu, harsh aspects are involved, there shouldn't be much of a hiccup if there's a separation at the end. You will fondly look back to remember how you both felt like an IT couple next to each other, and rekindling the fire would be quite easy if there's a reencounter.

Saturn in 1st house: there is a deep sense of responsibility and seriousness that is quickly developed between these two individuals. They both feel like the relationship is one that they would prefer long term, even if there's a heaviness to it. The planet person brings a grounded energy that encourages the house person to think long term, and they will go to great lengths to please the planet person. Its almost as if the house person wants to earn the respect or admiration of the other, and depending on any other planetary aspects made, it will either be something that will lift the house planets to higher highs or will make them feel overwhelmed with the pressure. Think of it as the pressure necessary to build diamonds, meaning, a necessary discomfort to achieve greatness. There's also a very karmic tie between these two individuals, and they will recognize it. The house person will feel like the other was brough into their lives for a reason, be it good or bad. As if they attracted this person due to their previous actions in a current or past life.

Ketu in 1st house: this is the most common "I've met you before" aspect in synastry. There is a strong feeling of comfort and ease between these two individuals, and the house person will feel a breeze from the past with the planet person. This truly goes both ways, and they both recognize it as well. It can also feel like a soulmate connection and one of the two will comfortably claim it so in their mind and heart. Even if Ketu is commonly perceived as a malefic in Vedic astrology, it is also the key to unlock a higher spiritual awareness, and this is exactly what this overlay causes. So, if both individuals are not actively pursuing to expanding their spiritual side, it will gradually create separation. Ketu brings a cleansing or purifying effect that almost feels like a burning sensation when its met with resistance. Hence why this synastry overlay or even with aspects can feel so debilitating for the planet person particularly. There cannot be a spiritual resistance from either side, and growth must be consistently practiced. Meditating together, learning occult knowledge, or even doing yoga will naturally enhance the relationship and it will be much easier to manage. It will also be more comfortable for individuals who already have Ketu touching personal planets or in the 1st house, also for those that have Scorpio placements in their natal chart.

Juno in 1st house: this is the "You are wife/husband material!" synastry overlay. They both feel like the other person has the qualities that they look for in a serious committed relationship. The asteroid person will simply feel like house person matches a lot of the pointers they have for what they would like in a marriage partner. On the other hand, the house person feels like they can hear wedding bells ringing from afar whenever they interact with the other. It is generally a pleasing overlay and both individuals are able to have a good common ground on what they expect from a long term relationship.

Venus in 4th house: a definite favorite overlay for romantic or platonic relationships. They are able to break the ice easily with each other during the beginning stages because there is a strong feeling of comfort they experience together. They are the type to spend hours chilling next to each other reading, scrolling through TikTok, or watching movies for hours with no issues (unless there are harsh aspects or malefic planets). The planet person feels at home with the house person, and things like cooking, cleaning, or nurturing each other develops with a lot of ease. The planet person brings material benefits to the house person, so if they move in together, the house person quite literally gets their space improved or it gets beautified in some way. Lots of harmony when it comes to these matters in general. They are the type that redecorate their home together as a hobby. It is also a good overlay for naturally wanting to grow a family and having an ease with it since their values match when it comes to raising children.

Mars in 6th house: this is a very wholesome and motivating overlay. The planet person brings a lot of energy to get things done and actively helps the house person on their daily life. The house person on the other hand, gets activated on their sense of servicing Mars, and it is common for them to also do a lot of little AND big things to make their life easier. I've seen them cooking, cleaning, or even fixing things for the house person frequently, but it generally goes both ways regardless. Acts of service as a love language is seen here. In general, there's a lot of "I want to help you grow and develop" between the two of them. They could even work or do exercises together as well. The only downside is that one of them could be too judgmental or picky with how things get done, and it could make either feel as if their efforts go unnoticed or unappreciated. If the relationship drifts apart, they will miss each other a lot because of how present they were in their day to day. Sort of like, you will think of each other while doing mundane activities like washing the dishes or doing groceries.

Venus in 8th house: as most astrologer enthusiast explain, this is not an overlay or synastry for the weak, at all. There is a strong attachment that is developed whenever the 8th house involved. Both individuals feel like two candles that join together to create a big flame that can warm and destroy with equal strength. The negative side is very clear, a heavy and almost addictive feeling with a heavy dark intense undertone. The house person sees Venus as a princess/prince that somehow appeared in the place they try to hide the most from others, and this immediately creates a desire to get very close. They want to study Venus, understand how they got in there to begin with, and determine whether they want them in there or not. In this case, the house planet holds a lot of the control. Venus will not have easy access to the house person unless it is granted. They will keep on creating obstacles to keep the planet person from getting closer until they recognize that there's no way to keep them out unless they literally walk away. The positive side is when the house person surrenders to the feeling of developing an intense and deep connection with the planet person. Once they do, it will feel like they are able to reach depths that they were unable to do so before with anyone else. It is common for both of them to share resources with each other and there is also a strong sense of loyalty that develops after the common challenges (jealousy, possessiveness, mistrust, etc) are worked out. Venus brings wealth and abundance to the house person, either through gifts or by simply attracting that towards them like a magnet. The house person on the other side shares their own resources VERY often, and have no issues with even dipping into their savings just to please Venus.

Jupiter in 10th house: I would call this the "You're my money lucky charm" overlay along with the 2nd house overlay. The planet person brings expansion, growth, and luck to the house person when it comes to their profession and public image. There is a lot of knowledge and guidance that the planet person provides, and that allows the house person to use those pointers to achieve their goals much faster than they would have been able to do so alone. For the planet person, it feels like they are very popular and/or noticeable within the work or public life of the house person. Unlike Venus, who is seen as a trophy wife/husband or as a very obvious romantic partner next to the house person, Jupiter is seen as someone who is like a sage, advisor, or foreigner. Overall, this is a very positive overlay for both to grow towards their material goals. The house person will prefer to spend more time outside with the planet person instead of being at home all the time since it aspects their 4th house. You both want to be seen together being out and about.

Moon in 12th house: this is a very complex interaction between two people, and it will depend a lot on what type of relationship they have (romantic, platonic, familiar, etc). In a general sense, the moon person will experience some confusion when it comes to acknowledging their feelings towards the house person. As if there was a veil that keeps them from taking confident steps forward. It is common for both people to develop a resistance into trusting each other at the beginning, but the other side of the coin is that they can't help but grow closer towards each other. The house person feels seen in every sense of the word, and they can notice how the other seamlessly understands what goes through their head almost as if it was telepathy. Now, even if the planet person is able to navigate somewhat well the subconscious mind of the other, there will be a constant doubt or hesitance. It will be hard for them to even understand why it feels this way, and only through identifying their own subconscious wounds will they will able to recognize the root of their confusion. Once this feeling and pattern is explored, it will feel as if they veil is lifted and they will understand the house person like the back of their hand. This is an aspect that can be rewarding if the planet person is focused on their spiritual growth, as they will gain immense knowledge to their own mind (since the moon rules the subconscious mind as well).

VEDIC ASTRO NOTES #2

🖍️ 1st lord connected to 6th house (Vedic astrology) - The characteristics you dislike the most in your enemy, the same behavior you have, but you don't notice it in yourself. Me VS myself is the theme of these natives. (I can attest to this; I have this placement personally. I just realized it and am working on myself)

🖍️What I often see in Vedic astrology texts is that Venus Ketu is disinterested in love, which I find ridiculous. Venus Ketu natives are some of the most intense people I know when it comes to love, obsessive to the point that they have a hard time letting go. Maybe it's because Venus aspects Rahu even though Venus is conjunct Ketu. Ketu will not work without Rahu (and vice versa).

🖍️When transit Saturn aspects one of your luminaries, there are two possibilities I can think of:

Saturn will make you feel the consequences of every decision you make.

You will also experience situations where you need to use dedication/hard work wherever Saturn transits in your natal chart.

🖍️I can't understand the stereotypical "tropical Virgos are hardworking." No, they're not, especially Purva Phalguni Nakshatra.

🖍️However, some stereotypes I understand are why "tropical Scorpios are dark, mysterious, and possessive." They are Sidereal Libra. That's the characteristic of Venus. Fixation on the other half? Venus. Specifically on the Nakshatras, Vishakha Nakshatra.

🖍️The stereotypes that I understand are:

"Why (tropical) Geminis are so charming?" The nakshatras Mrigashira and Rohini are connected to obsession. They have many stalkers (or some of them stalk, but either way, they have many more stalkers).

"Why (tropical) Cancers are known to be manipulative?" Because of the sidereal Gemini. Mercury rules manipulation. It's the Magician for a reason. The motherly aspect and crybaby behavior are because of the teardrop symbolism of the Ardra and the Aditi deity of the nakshatra Punarvasu.

🖍️While discovering and learning about Vedic astrology, I appreciate Western astrology more, not because I hate Vedic (I love both of them). It's just that some stereotypes have been made about tropical/Western astrology, which I listed above. They're not biased (well, it depends on the person, but the system itself isn't) because they explain and intertwine things that I find really interesting and beautiful.

🖍️Additional note to the observation that I made about the Rahu-Ketu axis and trends. The quarantine started when Gemini/Sagittarius and Taurus/Scorpio were in the nodes. It really makes sense to me why TikTok grew in popularity over that time because of Gemini (attention span thing). The Taurus/Scorpio thing represents the finances of countries that are affected when it comes to it (the obvious one is transformation because Scorpio is here). Also, Joe Biden was elected as the President of the U.S.A.

When Rahu is in Aries/Ketu in Libra transits:

Queen Elizabeth died. (sidereal Aries sun)

SZA dropped an album. One of her songs is "Kill Bill," very influenced by Bharani nakshatra (credits to Claire).

🖍️I know they have a placement of Aries and Libra, but these are the topics that are the talk of the town and memorable when you start remembering the year.

🖍️Vedic Twitter is weird. Sometimes, on the other hand, some of their observations really make sense. The weird thing that I found is the romanticization of Moon-Mars synastry. I have this with someone (I am the Moon person). I really hated it. They made me trigger anger in me. Not lust, but pure rage that I don't really like expressing.

🖍️The petty ones that I know are moon nakshatra natives (Rohini, Hasta, Shravana). I just don't agree that (I found someone tweeted about it) Moon nakshatra women are "girl's girl," "support nice women." Eh no, not that they hate other women but no. They just don't, and that's ok. They don't hate women, but they don't support it either if that makes sense (if you get it, you get it)

Additional note to this: Ironically, Hasta is the maiden archetype of nuns (that Claire Nakti mentions in her video), but they're the horniest ones I know too.

🖍️I love that Tropical Sagittariuses are known to be happy, free, and wild (looking directly at Miley Cyrus because she has a sidereal Scorpio stellium). It makes much more sense when Mars is at home in Scorpio. These natives are blunt too. The "darkness" that makes Scorpio a Scorpio is the transformation and hardships they've gone through. Different from Libra though.

🖍️9th house/12th house/Jupiter aren't appreciated as much by me. They're literally about beliefs. Your subconscious/unconscious self. Connection to manifestation for me. That's why they oppose the mercurial signs (magician) and mutable signs. They speak (3rd house)/act (6th house) on what they fear (12th house) or believe (9th house).

It's applicable for all people, you literally don't need a strong Jupiter/Jupiter Rashi to manifest easily.

Astrology observations: 18+

Lilith in the 10th house can give someone a reputation for being a slut, and also a tease. People automatically assume the worst of you. People make absurd rumors about these people, and others actually believe them or believe them with ease. Another thing I’ve noticed is that these people are viewed as sex symbols. Even before they’ve done anything sexual they already have a reputation for it.

I have this theory that men with mars in weaker signs such as Taurus, Libra, and Cancer are more inclined to seek out more than one women to feed their ego. These men are also extremely attractive to the opposite sex. One cancer mars I knew had more female friends than male ones. Taurus and Libra mars men always seem to have lots of women who have crushes on them.

Men with weak mars tend to be great in the sac. A cancer mars boyfriend of mine literally read smut to become better in bed. Crazy.

Sidereal Libra risings are gorgeous in a very noticeable way. All my friends and family who are objectively extremely beautiful have this placement. Which makes sense because Libra is the sign of symmetry and Venus (beauty) Honestly model status looks.

People with lots of Saturn aspects tend to have difficult lives.

The most aspected planet in your chart can give you a lot of insight into the energy you give off.

The T-Square really does indicate popularity and fame, but depending on the person this can be either good or bad. I knew a girl who had the T square in her and chart and there is no denying that she was well known. Everyone in our town knew her name, but in a bad way lol. But you know what they say, bad publicity is still publicity nonetheless.

Jupiter and sun in the first house can make someone extremely loud and obnoxious. 😂 Also no filter.

Sidereal Libra suns may give off the vibe that they don’t need anyone, but in reality their ego is dependent on what others think of them.

Rohini moons are captivating. Everyone always talks about their eyes piercing your soul. The type of person that could make anyone think they are soulmates.

Also sidereal Pisces mars women are usually extremely attractive.

A loaded 7th house indicates an abundance of romantic partners.

Rahu in the 12th might lead someone to become addicted to drugs and sex.

You know how people say “you can’t explain attraction?” Alright… but explain Mars conjunct moon synastry. And Venus conjunct mars. Like nearly every couple has this. It’s bizarre. Can’t be coincidence 😭

Saturn in the 2nd house are penny pinchers.

Rahu in the 7th house consumes relationships and can never be satisfied by them. They run through multiple people looking for the one, but they are ultimately left lost when these people can’t fulfill their needs. Ultimately they see themselves through their relationships (Ketu in the 1st{ tail with no head}) They can’t see themselves, so they use others to help gain clarity. I’ve seen these people completely mold themselves into the person they are dating. (Which is normal, but these changes are drastic!!!! Like changing from a nerd into a skater boy, into a goth, into a fighter, into a horse rider in a short amount of time.) Honestly I can appreciate how chameleon they are, they can always change, but they are never sure of who they are.

I’ve read about Moon conjunct Venus men being more inclined to cheat. I observed this once in a boyfriend of mine. (He also had retrograde Venus) which might of affected it. His moon and Venus were in the 8th house (sometimes associated with death) and moon and Venus (commonly associated with the mother) his mother died a few months into our relationship, and he blamed me for her death(long and complicated story) He still wants to see me all the time, and the other day I was talking with his girlfriend (that he claimed that he was broken up with ) and she literally said “I really don’t think he would fuck the bitch that killed his mom.” So I can’t even make this shit up. 😭

South Node and how we detached from our partners: Synastry Edition part 2

Ok, I have to say that even though SN is a really karmic point in our chart, I recently found out that all that theory of reincarnation and past life is something really recent (apparently) and in old vendic astrology they consider North Node and South Node shadow planets, I don't necessarily dismiss the reincarnation and past karma theory, but in my little research I found interesting how they see this shadow planets like a challenging energy (malefics), for North Node is mainly known for its obsessive, tricky and materialistic characteristics (due to its lack of a physical body) and the South Node is known for it's detachment, elusive and introspective characteristics (due to the lack of a head).

Accordingly to what I already explained, I notice that it makes a lot of sense to see their effect in that area of our chart, and in the area of others chart (synastry), I notice something that change a lot in old vendic astrology is that they don't try to make people erase their SN, instead they encourage people to learn both lesson (Rahu and Ketu) and also Ketu, even with it's malefic energy, is really prominent in charts of great astrologers.

With that in mind, we can say Ketu make us detached from all the material word and the tangible, so it's effects force an introspection (the kind of introspection is going to be dictated by the sign Ketu is in) that is going to take away our physical sense in the area of our life, example: if you have Ketu in cancer in the 5th house, your going to have an emotional introspection that make you detached to your children, your creative project, your childhood or your inner child, this is to gain a sense of reflection and individualism (a head) in that area of our life.

Now we will see how ketu detachment can manifest in synastry depending of the axis it touch:

Ketu and Rahu are what we detached from, in order to get something else, balance is required in this process, cause, one can loose in Rahu excessiveness, or in Ketu apathy. 11th HOUSE SYNASTRY - THIS SYNASTRY DOESNT MEAN SOMEONE SEES YOU AS A FRIEND OR YOU ARE BETTER OFF AS FRIENDS, STOP REPEATING THIS SURFACE LEVEL SHIT YOU’VE BEEN EATING UP FROM MODERN ASTROLOGY POSTS. This is the house of wealth and gains, it’s the fullfillment of our desires and sudden profits. It’s an indicator of your sources of income and allies. So of course, you will have strong foundation with someone you have 11th house synastry with because it will be built on a ground of trust and support. Along with emotional connection, there’s also a mental connection that makes you share your secrets and ideas to them as you would do to a friend but that’s only one piece of the puzzle WHICH DOESN’T MEAN THAT YOU WILL BE GOOD FRIENDS (you can’t make that comment for any type of relationship in this synastry because if 11h is afflicted by malefics that will most likely bring a negative result which can make you enemies or drain one another’s life force lmao). More than anything, especially if you have your 7th house lord in your partner’s 11th house you will gain so much from them in so many ways including oppurtunities and finances and helping you achieve your earthly desires. They will be your ally and support, supporting you in your pursuits and opinions. It’s like a debate team with financial support lol. It can also indicate you will go back to university and complete your education or get a new degree after you get together with this person. Most of this also goes for 3rd house synastry.

5th HOUSE SYNASTRY - “This indicates a fleeting romance” FUCK NO. That’s one of the most trumped-up interpretations i’ve heard. You CAN’T predict the longevity of a relationship based on house overlays. Ever heard of Davison charts? Anyway, prominent 5th house is anohter EXCELLENT synastry. It often donates a relationship where you can discuss ANYTHING - your wildest thoughts, plans and experiences. Someone you jump from topic to topic. Very often the planet person is the “childlike” one which the house person adores and takes inspiration from. Planet person becomes a ball of joy and energy that makes the house person destress and cheer up, thought it can feel like an ‘overdose’ sometimes. Both parties become some sort of an energy source for each other. You play games together, indulge in fun activities, create things (can even be an invention) together. Even doing nothing and just talking to each other feels fun and full of laughter (unless there are some other placements disturbing this synastry). This is the synastry of never-ending honeymoon. A couple with rahu/mars in 5th house might have a son as the first child. If venus is there with the nodes, it might be a son with venusian qualities. You can also get more popular or lucky if you are with someone you have 5h overlay with. The house person also pushes you to focus on your studies more.

12th HOUSE SYNASTRY - There’s a lot of stigma around his house (8h as well) and people often fear it. Weeeeeell...It IS a karmic house so people you have this synastry with are likely to be karmic partners. HOWEVER, don’t take this to oH NO this is not my TWIN FLAME this is a KaRmiC pErson shit. Literally almost everyone is a karmic partner lmfao, there’s a difference between good and bad karma. This synastry can play out good or bad depending on your own individual karma with this person and how you are managing your life. You can look to Rahu/ketu & saturn to get more info on the karma and to see how it’ll play out. Basically the planet person becomes your escape especially if their sun/moon falls into your 12h. They can end up being your savior. There’s an undeniable theme of profound change that this synastry brings. It often leads you to liberation, through a path of restriction. You need to overthrow the restrictions the other person brings to achieve total liberation. This is often a part of the soul’s karma. A couple with this overlay often keeps a secluded relationship from their relatives (maybe even ghost their families lol) and tend to travel together. They often open up to each other surprisingly quickly about their past and traumas, though there’s a really odd distrust within the couple.

6th HOUSE SYNASTRY - People have a very poor understanding of the 6th house, it’s often condensed to ‘service’. 6h synastry is similar to 12h synastry as they are the same axis anyway, but the difference is 12h’s effects are more abstract meanwhile 6h’s effects are much more physical and can be observed on a practical level. The theme with this house is “either serve or die” and has a karmic tone to it too. It’s not often this dramatic tho lol but usually a couple with 6h synastry feel a deep sense of responsibility towards each other which can make it hard to leave even if it turns toxic. Planet person often triggers the house person’s instincts to ‘serve’ the planet person in one way or another - the house person may do random gestures, buy lots of gifts, support them every way possible etc. so in this way it’s a very cute and beneficial synastry, because they are very much involved in each other’s lives and make a visible impact. If you have a mutual mars overlay with someone in 10th house (your mars in their 10h, theirs in your 10h) your aggressive energy as a couple will most likely be public. Meaning you are prone to have public arguments or fights. Alternatively you can also do illegal business or outlaw activities together, often involving some sort of violence or marsian quality.

If someone’s rahu falls into your 4th house, they will feel peace in our presence but they might drain the peace out of you, meaning they can emotionally and physically drain you, bring conflict and chaos into your life. It may become addictive in some cases. Rahu person will keep wanting more. If at the same time your rahu falls into a water house in their chart (so if ur rahu falls into their 4h,8h,12h houses) you will keep giving more and also find it addictive and hard to get out of. It will push you to surrender.

Rahu in 7th overlay indicates a pre-destined marriage/partnership

Moon in 1st or 2nd house is a very common overlay between soulmates and married couples. Moon in 2h is especially a very auspicious placement in terms of material wealth. The planet person often spoils the house person and knows EXACTLY what to get to the house person as a gift, they have a natural understanding of what the planet person would like and their needs (unless afflicted or outweighed by other malefics placements)

Could you talk about the envious energy towards Rahu in 1st House people ? Ever time I do research and searches it always talks about the beauty/appearance of the placement or the jealously it brings.

Jealousy is linked closely to Jyeshta Nakshatra, due to people assuming you're in a higher position because of the energetic vibration of this Nakshatra. I have Rahu in Jyeshta and even though I was brought up in a very poor family, the moment I got the minimum of financial control over my life and I could somehow choose the way I present myself, I had people assume I am way above my family's status. People, who beg for money in the streets always choose me out of a crowd to approach, so do all the street sellers targeting tourists when I travel, because they assume I have enough money to give to them. Jyeshta can have that effect, even if like in my case in the past it wasn't realistic at all. People view you as having "more than" them with this Nakshatra, and while some people won't care, some will be envious because of it. If you're dealing with strong jealousy themes, look for Jyeshta/Scorpio/8th house in your chart.

Rahu can produce jealousy in such a way, that wherever your Rahu is placed you actively strive to improve your physical life. Desire leads to efforts, efforts lead to working hard, working reaps rewards, and with Rahu these can come easy, sometimes very suddenly. So you may end up obsessively accumulating a lot of experiences in the house where your Rahu is placed due to how much your soul desires to learn about these things, and people who have their Rahu elsewhere and didn't put in all the energy that you did in a given area may think "wow how did they do THAT?", while in fact the hunger that Rahu brings just makes you constantly chase that area of life and improve it as a result. Ketu is an intuitive manifestation gift, that happens largely on an unconscious level, but Rahu has "street smarts" to get what it wants. It's way too clever to subject itself to Saturn's harsh, rigorous labor, but it knows exactly how much effort to put in and where in order to achieve the desired result. Then there is also the question of the 1st house being so obvious and visible to the naked eye. I always say the 1st house is the highest level of physical clarity, so that even a rock would get the message, as opposed to the 12th house that is extremely subtle, to the point society massively dismisses the energies involved there as "unrealistic", because they're so ephemeral and require silence and openness to access. Accessing the 1st house is the easiest, because it's the most rudimentary energy. Now we need to look at the fact, that Rahu rules achievement in the material world, mostly the mainstream kind, because it's linked with social approval. 1st house rules the physical body. So person with Rahu in the 1st can be easily perceived as fitting into society's physical beauty standards at their time, making people jealous of their power of manifesting that achievement. What may get taken for granted, is how much of a fearful ego does the Rahu in the 1st house person has, deep down, and how much effort they can put into perfecting themselves due to insecurity. Rahu brings difficulties wherever it's placed, especially early on in life when we don't know how to navigate it yet, as we only learn how to balance it over time. With Rahu in the 1st, the ego is very restless and prone to low behaviors to fulfill its hunger for validation. That can mean subconsciously provoking people to be jealous of them, just to feel good about oneself.

Also, don't forget that the intention is in the eye of the person looking at you. It may not be you bringing it out of someone, although this could happen with some synastry aspects, but it may be the other person's tendency to look at what others have, and not appreciate their life gifts instead. I’ve only seen twoVedic astrologers comment publicly on Harry & Meghan: Joni Patry and JamesKelleher. James just basically commented in a roundabout way that Megs is notthe next Diana because their charts aren’t at all similar. He did that in his Junenewsletter.

Joni did a video onthese two suckers more than 6 months ago (January 17, 2018). If you watch thevideo, the first part is just Joni reviewing the synastry between their twocharts and providing other commentary on their solo charts.

At the 22:05 mark iswhere I think the most relevant information is:

If you watch the last 10 minutes of thevideo–basically from 22:05 to the end–you’ll notice that Joni doesn’t givethe greatest comments about how their first year is going to go, aka “theydid not ask an astrologer…”

Her comment about Neptune opposing Meghan’snatal Venus is Joni’s western astrology experience talking since the outerplanets (Neptune, Uranus, Pluto, etc.) are not traditionally used in Vedicastrology. With a 3-degree orb, Neptune will probably move away from Meg’snatal Venus around the February-to-April-2019 timeframe.

Joni mentioned the change in Jupiter’s transitin October, which particularly affects Harry’s chart. That’s not the only thinghappening this October. Venus goes retrograde this fall from October 5 toNovember 16. Often when Venus goes retrograde, people breakup. Like, if theBeckhams were to announce they’re divorcing during that timeframe, I wouldn’tbe surprised. Not saying that they will, but if it were to happen at that timeI wouldn’t be surprised. Another thing happening in October is that Harrychanges from Rahu-Ketu dasha to Rahu-Venus dasha. Sometimes before a dasha change–even a subperiod change–people can experience a change in life. Not always, but often.

Venus is in Libra from September 1st to December 31st, which means it will be in the 7th house from Harry’s natal moon. So…that probably softens any blow emotionally & mentally from Jupiter moving into Scorpio, but that ends on the very last day of 2018. And then right at the beginning of 2019–literally the first week of January–Saturn transits Harry ascendant. I see that as purely a separative aspect.

Whether or not this marriage is over in October 2018 or early 2019, I still have a hard time believing they’re going to make it a full year. It’s just so unfavorable…and you know more shit is going to come out in the next few months. Every new round that happens, I’m just not at all surprised.

Little Astro Things You May Not Have Heard Before

PART 1

Geminis have sharply angled jaws from the side view with a little cleft in their chin. Their arms are long and the back of their skull is kinda flat.

Cancers have really defined lips, whether big or small

Scorpios have gummy smiles and baby looking teeth

Earth signs and water signs have really round and sturdy looking skulls , unless influenced heavily by an air or fire sign (through dominants and aspects).

The Midheaven at its most natural state is meant to be in a square from the Ascendant and descendant. The Ascendant and midheaven should never be more than or less than a square away from the midheaven. This is because the Natal Chart is settled on a perfect 360 axis where it has 4 major angles setting its basic shape up; 360 divided by 4 would give us 4 perfectly aligned 90 degree angled points (MC, IC, ASC, DSC) but of course no chart can be “perfectly perfect” so many people will have interceptions: where the midheaven is sometimes more or less than a square away from the Ascendant. This is why we see some people having their Ascendant and midheaven only being 2 signs apart or even as far as 5 signs apart.

Having a water house Stellium (4th, 8th, 12th) makes you more likely to accumulate wealth in this lifetime

Jupiter in the 9th, 10th, 11th , 12th makes you more likely to be recognized for your talents in this lifetime

Having Mars or Neptune on an angle makes you more inclined to being a good dancer/take dancing seriously

Technically, Capricorn rising is the Ascendant in exaltation. Libra rising is the Ascendant in detriment. Cancer rising is the Ascendant in fall. Many wealthy and renowned people have a cardinal rising because they are able to overcome more mentally than the rest of us.

The asteroid conjunct your sun at birth can indicate any health issues you can develop in this lifetime

Gemini is Mercury as a child, excitable and willing to know more of the surrounding world. Virgo is Mercury as an adult, deep in thought and not so open to new ideas but still free thinking and willing to research until their wisdom dies out.

Uranus-MC = long term success after climbing

Inconjunct/quincunx couples stand the test of time when they work through their differences moreso than semi-sextile couples. When the semi-sextile couple works through their differences, there is so much frustration because they can see clearly the many similarities they share but even the slightest difference btw them just makes them lost all over. The quincunx couples see some similarities but many differences which allows them a broader space to map newly shared interests INTO the relationship as time progresses.

Sign placements are of least importance in examining a synastry chart. First look at house placements, then secondly look at Aspects, then look at sign placements lastly.

Juno in Earth signs love to dance with their partners

A harmonic chart is a detailed examination of the minor aspects in your chart. A conjunction in the 5th harmonic chart is actually a quintile in the regular natal chart. A conjunction in the 7th harmonic chart is actually a septile in the regular natal chart. 8th harmonic conjunctions are octiles. 9th harmonic conjunctions are noviles. 10th harmonic conjunctions are deciles. And so on so forth with other harmonics. Reasonably, you should only go up to the 36th harmonic but some go as far the 100s but I honestly don’t even know what they’d be looking at at that point.

You should take fixed stars into account for a karmic stellium, conjunctions only of course.

A sesquiquadrate is basically a softened (really weak) mixture of a trine and a quincunx. It’s not good or bad and, in that sense, has a 50/50 deal to it like a conjunction, though it does resemble the trine and quincunx more in aspect. However, if you can’t find information on a sesquiquadrate aspect, it would be wise to examine the conjunction of that aspect first then look at the the trine. Make a watered down hypothesis of the sesquiquadrate aspect after this.

Earth and Fire signs are personal, Air and Water signs are interpersonal

In Vedic astrology, Rahu is the North Node, Ketu is the South Node, Lagna is the Ascendant, and D1, D2, D3, etc are simply referring to your different harmonic charts. So D7 would be the 7th harmonic chart, which shows septiles in the Natal Chart. Rashi refers to the houses.

In Vedic astrology, the natal Navamsa Chart is the indicator of soulmates and marriage. They say to check it to find out more about your future marriage. In Western astrology, we call the Navamsa Chart the 9th harmonic chart.

In your Navamsa Chart, a planet (or planets) that is in the SAME house as it is in your Lagna (Natal Ascendant) Chart is considered to be the most powerful in your chart. Similar to a dominant planet, it is called the vargottma and your destiny is tied to this planet (or planets). This is even more powerful and significant if the planet(s) are with Rahu (North Node).

Realistically, Aspects between venus and mars are NOT indicators of marriage/lifetime commitment. In western astrology, the idealistic views of Venus and Mars have become too inflated; even in Ancient Greek and Rome, many did not correlate marriage with the two frivolous entities of Venus and Mars. They are related more to general love and lust than the more specified love and lust that is present in marriage. You would look to the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and Juno for marriage between two people. All four are the basis for stability and compromising in relationships, albeit in different mannerisms. Venus and Mars are secondary to them in all aspects.

The ruler of the 1st and the ruler of the 10th are typically in the same house in the charts of celebrities.

Saturn and Jupiter both in the 1st house people are often very lean and slender

In Vedic astrology, Nakshatras (using sidereal measurements) take up the entire zodiac in 27 divisions. For example, I am Mrigasira Nakshatra Ascendant bc I was born from 23-20’ Taurus to 6-40’ Gemini in Vedic. I am Revati moon because I was born from 16-40’ Pisces to 30 Pisces. It’s confusing at first but super easy to understand if you just google it lol.

South Node and how we detached from our partners: Synastry Edition (part 1)

Now we will see how ketu detachment can manifest in synastry depending of the axis it touch:

Their/your Ketu in the 1st house: With this position there's an obsession with the relationship (Rahu in the 7th house) and a lack of interest in the other person journey and vital energy, the Ketu person may feel an strong disconnection with the house person (this doesn't mean the connection is not stronger, it's more like apathy), the energy of the house person could remembered the ketu person hard lesson and experience they go through in their natal ketu's house, this relationship could feel strong and even absorbent (Rahu in the 7th house) to the house person, while at the same time could feel disregarded by the Ketu person. As close as ketu is to the rising of the house person, as hard is going to be for ketu person to acknowledge house person challenges mastering their rising energy. Ketu person may feel annoyed by the house person needs to assert their rising energy, and at some point Keto person could project their past experiences in the house person.

Their/your Ketu in the 2nd house: We'll see how hard is to overcome Ketu malefic energy in every area of our life, but I personally think it gets harder in personal houses, this can create dynamics where Ketu person feels house person's likes shallow, while aiming for a more intimate connection where the "we" overshadowed the "I", Rahu malefic nature could use inconsiderately the joint patrimony (Rahu in the 8th), using and abusing house person needs and wants. Ketu person feels totally disconnected from the other person needs, while trying to build a intimated relationships with the other person, there's a confused feeling about the other person, both could feel misunderstood even when there's a strong attachment and security around the other person. I have this synastry with my mother I can tell I hardly understand what she needs, she's well more aware about my need even though I had overstep her boundaries.

Rahu in the 9th house do little for this, because while you may sense that this connection could go deeper, or even feeling curious enough to try to get information about house person, when there's a chance to connect, Keto effects make the interaction boring and shallow.

I'd seen this in mother/kids relationships and it's hard cause neither the mother nor kid can have a fulfilling relationship, usually the ketu person try to keep a more impersonal treatment in the relationship.

Their/your Ketu in the 6th house: ketu here is similar that in 2nd house, but I found this more like a hyper idealized relationship (Rahu in the 12th house), these could be found in dynamics where Ketu person wants a deeply idealistic connection with the house person (obsession is strong with Rahu in the 12th house), but then find out how hard is to function day to day with the house person, ketu creates apathy in every house it is, but in 6th house, ketu tend to be quite distant from the routine of the house person, I've seen this in friends with benefits, where they tend to meet once in a while, so it's hard to be part of someone's life when you don't grow with this person process (adaptation process= 6th house), ketu person doesn't identify with house person daily challenges trying to find a place in this word, they could feel that the house person is way too immerse in their day to day, and can't find more valuable meaning in their life, house person just don't adjust to universe flow, according to ketu expectations (Rahu in 12th house), this placements makes harder to acknowledge one's fault because of 12th house effect.
