"sweet" takes / aspects and placements that deserve more love!

[astro notes no. 004]

since i did that “spicy” takes post i wanted to also make a post in defense of the negative takes i hear about certain signs/placements and showing some love to the ones that i feel like don't get as much appreciation as they deserve! hope y'all enjoy! ♡

aquarius placements are not unemotional sociopaths and honestly this is such a goofy ass take. aquarius’ archetype literally centers around their need to advance society and wanting to help those around them as a means to do so. can their saturnian influence make them come off as cold in their approach sometimes? sure. but the whole “aquarius doesn’t have emotions and doesn’t care about anyone’s feelings” doesn’t make any type of sense considering the fact that aquarius craves connection with others in order to feel fulfilled

speaking of saturnian influence, y’all need to check up on your saturnian friends, especially if you’re below the age of 30. people tend to bring up how destructive and chaotic pluto is and the effect it can have on you if it’s tightly aspecting your personal planets, but i feel like people overlook the way that saturnian energy literally starts chipping away at you the moment you pop out the coochie. a lot of saturnians will consciously put too much on their plate because they don’t know how to function without overworking themselves, or, they’re distracting themselves from heavy emotions that they don’t want to feel. the idea of being alone with their thoughts is the most terrifying thing to them, and they would definitely benefit from having people around them that can slow them down and help them relax

to any parents (or people who work with children), please be gentle with your water sign babies. especially the scorpios and pisces. i feel like we don’t give children enough credit for how intelligent they actually are, and when it comes to water sign children i promise you, they know exactly what the fuck is going on. they know that you’re stressed out, they can recognize the energy in the room, and they’re internalizing all of your emotions and can be more prone to feeling overstimulated because of it. be patient with them, and as a former water sign baby myself, give them a hug for me <3

and since we’re giving out hugs, i gotta give a virtual one to my pisces and virgo placements. pisces and virgo are both signs of service, and typically opt to suffer in silence for the sake of those around them. i feel like pisces is the “worst” of the two, as pisces struggles with boundaries, and even when we’re being mistreated or abused by others we can literally convince ourselves that that’s actually not the case and that everything’s fine. pisces is also the only water sign that doesn’t have “armor” (cancer [the crab] has its shell, and scorpio [the scorpion] has its exoskeleton, claws, and stinger), which results in us getting hurt a lot. it’s typically why some pisces placements are prone to escapist tendencies, addiction, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. but pisces is the oldest of the zodiac, and there’s so much wisdom and spiritual knowledge that we unlock once we grow and evolve enough to “swim away” from the shit that doesn’t serve us

and i bring this up because i feel like pisces is constantly coded as “delusional” or “hyper-emotional”, and i know y’all love pointing out how “judgemental” and “nitpicky” virgo is. and while those stereotypes can be true depending on the person, i feel like the amount of energy pisces and virgo put into helping other people is constantly overshadowed by whatever “flaws” they may have. there was a tweet i read that said “maybe the final stage in your healing journey is finally telling people to fuck off”, that’s very much so the advice i’d give to pisces and virgo. your worth is not intrinsically linked to how much pain you can withstand or how much abuse you can tolerate from people who claim to love you. you deserve so much more and i promise there’s something bigger and better waiting for you on the other side of what it is that you’re currently settling for

i feel like the importance of 12H, neptune, water sign placements can often get overlooked in comparison to more practical, “realistic” planetary/sign placements. it’s definitely important to have balanced, grounded energy in your chart alongside these types of placements, but i feel like people underestimate how powerful it is to have spiritual and creative placements as well. and while these can be difficult aspects to master, i feel like once you do get to a point where you’ve done the work it can not only make you an incredible artist, but an extremely compassionate, empathetic healer. people with these placements tend to go through a lot, and experience an insane amount of turmoil. but no matter how tired you are, and no matter how misunderstood or lost you may feel, you’re here to serve a greater purpose and your craft is sacred. you have tools at your disposal that it takes people years upon years to develop, and it’s not something that should be taken for granted

Venus in 12th/Pisces people, have fluid emotions and can easily become infatuated with someone or the idea of a someone. They don't always stop to think things through. So when it feels good to them they will allow it into their lives.

They have no limits to their pleasures. When they desire something or someone they give into it 100%. They prefer a natural, easy-flowing connection, not something they have to put work into. They enjoy the mushy feeling of someone dedicating a song or poem to them. They too can turn their affections into an artform.

If the person feels right to them they will do anything to be with them.

Even when others may disagree.

They look towards the positive outcome and can ignore the bad.

They live in a world of their own where they make the rules.

If someone makes them uncomfortable they can feel it and won’t want anything to do with them.

They have a lot of internal energy and creativity within'.

They feel like life is a movie and love is a fairytale.

Can manifest mystical realities and supernatural experiences.

Since they are usually off into their own world, they require someone interesting or odd enough to catch their attention. Once they are committed they become great listeners and empathetic with their loved ones.

Astro Observations #2

◻️ While one of the themes of the 12th House is isolation (i.e. prison, hospitals, foreign places), people with 12th House placements don't necessarily end up in prison themselves. Often they are the ones working and offering their services in places such as prisons, hospitals, far away lands, or places where one is isolated. This is especially true if Mars, Venus, Moon, or Mercury are there.

◻️ Pluto in the 1st/5th House/Pluto aspecting Sun, indicates someone who goes through many transformations to their identity. Not specifically to their appearance, although it can be, but more so to the personality and overall character of the native. They will go through life experiencing several identity crisis from which they emerge each time a new person.

◻️ People with Mercury in 2nd House have captivating voices. Even if they don't sing, their speaking voice is one that grabs people's attention.

◻️ Virgo Moons, be nice to yourselves. You are amazing. Perfection is an unachievable goal. Sure, we all can stand to make improvements in our lives, but don't beat yourself up over the unrealistic ideals you feel you need to accomplish.

◻️ Also on Virgo (all placements, including the Angles)...it is a very intuitive sign that often gets overlooked because of how earthy and practical they are. But their intuitiveness comes from the introspective nature of this sign. This is why in Tarot they are represented by the Hermit (Major Arcana). The archetype of the Hermit and Virgo energy is to go within and do a deep analysis of oneself, in order to derive at answers. This is why they seem to just know what to do in situations.

◻️ Cancer placements really are care bears. But make no mistake, their moods and disposition can change at the drop of a dime. Like their Cardinal cousin Aries, they will POP OFF and rip you a new one if you're not careful.

◻️ Taurus placements can talk their azzes offff lol. Man, people think Gemini are the talkers...baybee...their zodiac neighbor Taurus can hold a decent match with them. They can go on and on and on. I've seen this with people with Mercury in the 2nd House, Taurus 3rd House or Mars in 3rd House as well.

◻️ Mars in Aquarius are some bona-fide freaks lol. Not necessarily in a nasty, filthy way, but they are definitely down to try all types of different and unconventional sex.

◻️ Some may not like to admit this, but Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) act as mirrors. Even if they are the 'toxic one', they often attract partners that help the water sign SEE THEMSELVES and do shadow work. And the opposite is true...water signs are highlighting where their partners may have an unhealthy or toxic relationship with their own emotions.

Mercury in Pisces

You, your thoughts, and your ways of communicating tend to be idealistic, psychic, intuitive, imaginative, sympathetic, diplomatic, extremely sensitive, compassionate, and visionary. On the negative side you can be lazy, impractical, day-dreamy, over-sensitive, procrastinating, indifferent and absent-minded. You may lack a strong desire to work or to push yourself into doing anything that takes a lot of strength, organization, patience, and responsibility. You would rather be a poet or musician than a scientist or a mechanic. A Letter to Pisces Moons

Dear loves, are you lost? Do you want to be found? Is there grace that you want to touch but can’t seem to reach? Does it feel like wandering aimlessly or do you feel like you can reach the dream you’ve imagined ? I’m here to tell you that you can. I know you have these ideas you want to come into fruition, sometimes you need to release the expectations and accept the outcome. Your mind gives you the power to think of these scenarios in a beautiful way, but when it doesn’t play out how you expected it to, you can fall to disappointment. Why are you disappointed if you got what you wanted?

Saturn will be entering Pisces soon and those rose colored glasses will come off. It’s time for you to see how life is, and it’s time for you to learn to beauty of life outside your mind. It feels safer in your mind, but reality is what you make it. Channel that energy to form the world around you into your own creation. Where your moon falls in your chart will show you the area that you need to focus on, and the creativity you need to have to produce the results you want. You can make your reality just as beautiful as your mind, it just takes a little time and effort.

Do not let anyone knock those thoughts and make them smaller. Give yourself room to live outside your mind because staying tucked away in there for too long can lead to feelings of frustration, sadness, endless loops playing in your head. Get into your creative bag and make sure your feelings are being put into the work you make. Make sure you’re actively giving your mind the space to rest. Your mind can be active and sometimes you need to settle it to get yourself on track. Just understand that you’re flourishing in the best way you can and you have to keep striving towards the path of success. It will come to you, just keep an open mind to what that reality brings.

Do people gaslight you when you express your emotions telling you you overreacted or you’re too sensitive ? Have you been hearing that your whole life ?

Maybe you have internalised that and now you gaslight yourself from showing your emotions and their wide range.

Please stop gaslighting yourself because if you feel this deeply that’s actually an amazing quality. It means you’re alive, you’re more than enough to feel anything and express it instinctively. You feel and you express. It means you’re not dead inside. Many of those who have told you you’re too sensitive are those who are dead inside.

Keep being alive, honour your emotions and use your sensitivity at your advantage. Trust your emotions and yourself.
