When all is said and done, the hard I've work put in, the periods of isolation, and the setting myself apart will pay off. There is no other choice but for it to pay off. There is a Devine calling to my life, and when God Himself has given you that reassurance, what mere human beings said to you means nothing.
If you too are on that path, remember that while the way may be filled with obstacles and hurdles, the consistency of following the path of success can only lead you to one endpoint: success.
You will be that person that so many overlooked, the one who never needed the applauds and accolades from others to feel secure in their own shoes, whose motivation came within and not from external sources, who became a generational chain breaker, who spoke life into their vision and made it a reality.
Amen.

The spiritual gift of prophecy is an extraordinary and unique gift. Paul says:
¹ “Make love your aim, but strive earnestly after the spiritual gifts, especially for that of prophecy.”
—1 Corinthians 14:1, Seek the Gifts That Build Up the Community
The Greek word for the gift of prophecy is propheteia which is the ability to receive a divinely inspired message and deliver it to others in the church. These messages can take the form of exhortation, correction, disclosure of secret sins, prediction of future events, comfort, inspiration, or other revelations given to equip and edify the body of Christ.
³ “On the other hand, the one who prophesies speaks to men for their building up, their encouragement, and their consolation. ⁴ Whoever speaks in a tongue builds himself up, but whoever prophesies builds up the Church.”
—1 Corinthians 14:3-4
This gift is a blessing to the church and should not be quenched or despised.
²⁰ “Do not despise prophecies.”
—1 Thessalonians 5:20
In the New Testament the Apostles, not the prophets, took over the role of Scriptural proclamation from the Old Testament Prophets.
Those who have the gift of prophecy differ from the Old Testament Prophets who spoke the authoritative Word of God directly. Their words were recorded as Scripture as they proclaimed, “Thus says The Lord,” whereas the messages from those with the spiritual gift of prophecy must be tested.
²⁹ “As for the prophets, let two or three speak, and let the rest weigh their words. ³⁰ Should a revelation be made to someone else who is sitting there, let the one who is speaking stop. ³¹ You can all prophesy, but one at a time, so that all may receive instruction and encouragement. ³² Indeed, the spirits of the prophets are subject to their prophets’ control, ³³ for God is not a God of disorder but of peace. As in all the Churches of the saints,”
—1 Corinthians 14:29-33
¹ Beloved, do not trust every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world. ² This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, ³ and every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the Antichrist, about whose coming you have been told, and that it is already in the world.
—1 John 4:1-3, The Spirit of the Antichrist in the World
Again, the prophecies do not constitute the authoritative Word of God, but are the human interpretation of the revelation that was received. They are spoken in human words through a human mind which is why they must be tested against the Scriptures.
²⁰ Do not despise prophecies. ²¹ Test everything, and hold fast to what is good.
—1 Thessalonians 5:20-21
The Holy Spirit gives the gift of prophecy to some believers to make God’s heart known and to edify the church. This gift is for the benefit of both believers and unbelievers and is a sign that God is truly among His church.
²⁴ However, if everyone is prophesying and an unbeliever or uninstructed person should enter, he would be reproved by all and judged by all, ²⁵ and the secrets of his heart would be revealed. Then he would fall down and worship God, declaring, “God is truly in your midst.”
—1 Corinthians 14:24-25
Those with this gift are sensitive to both the prompting of the Holy Spirit and the needs of the church body. They should be humble and continually study the Scriptures in order to test these revelations before speaking them. When they do speak, they should allow and even expect others to weigh what is said against the Scriptures and interpret the message accordingly. In this way the church may be continually built up together in unity.

⁴ “Whoever speaks in a tongue builds himself up, but whoever prophesies builds up the Church.”
—1 Corinthians 14:4
²² Clearly, then, tongues are intended as a sign not for believers but for unbelievers, while prophecy is designed not for unbelievers but for believers. ²³ Therefore, if the whole Church has assembled and everyone is speaking in tongues, would not any uninstructed person or any unbeliever on entering conclude that you are all out of your minds? ²⁴ However, if everyone is prophesying and an unbeliever or uninstructed person should enter, he would be reproved by all and judged by all, ²⁵ and the secrets of his heart would be revealed. Then he would fall down and worship God, declaring, “God is truly in your midst.”
²⁶ “And so, what then should be done, brethren? When you assemble, each of you should bring a psalm or some lesson or a revelation, or speak in a tongue, or offer an interpretation. Everything should be done with the goal in mind of building up.”
—1 Corinthians 14:22-26
⁶ “We all have different gifts according to the grace given to us. If it is a gift of prophecy, we should exercise it in proportion to our faith.”
—Romans 12:6
¹⁰ “To one, is granted the gift of mighty deeds; to another, the gift of prophecy; and to yet another, the gift to discern spirits. One receives the gift of tongues and another the ability to interpret them.”
—1 Corinthians 12:10
¹ “Make love your aim, but strive earnestly after the spiritual gifts, especially for that of prophecy. ² If anyone speaks in tongues, he is speaking not to men but to God, and no one understands him, for he is speaking mysteries in the Spirit. ³ On the other hand, the one who prophesies speaks to men for their building up, their encouragement, and their consolation. ⁴ Whoever speaks in a tongue builds himself up, but whoever prophesies builds up the Church. ⁵ I wish that all of you could speak in tongues, but I would much prefer that you could prophesy. For the one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless the latter can interpret what he is saying so that the Church may be built up.”
—1 Corinthians 14:1-5, Seek the Gifts That Build Up the Community
¹¹ “It was he who established some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, ¹² to equip the saints for the work of ministry in building up the body of Christ,”
—Ephesians 4:11-12
¹⁰ “Like good stewards of the varied graces of God, use whatever gift each one of you has received to serve one another. ¹¹ Whoever speaks should do so as one who is speaking the very words of God. Whoever serves should do so with the strength that God provides. In all things, let God be glorified through Jesus Christ, for to him belong all glory and power forever and ever. Amen.”
—1 Peter 4:10-11

Maybe Luke didn't need to be the villain. Maybe he didn't need to be the one leading Kronos' army. Maybe he didn't need to be the subject of the prophesy.
The demigod of the prophesy changed 3 times. First Nico, then Thalia, then finally Percy. Nico got stuck in the Lotus hotel, so he was out. Thalia became a hunter of Artemis, so she was out too. That left Percy. Who's to say the subject of the prophesy didn't shift from one on to the other?
So maybe Luke didn't have to be the demigod from the prophesy. Maybe he could have ran away. Someone else could have taken his place. The subject of the prophesy would have shifted. Maybe he didn't have to die. Maybe the war would have been delayed. More time to prepare for the campers while the titan army scrambled for a leader. Kronos would have had to find another body. Someone strong enough to survive the river Stynx. Someone strong enough to bear the curse of Achilles. Maybe less demigods would have died.

It's become clear to me that dragon dreams for Targaryens, especially in the early years, are a warning for strife to come.
Daenys saw the Doom of Valyria that would have destroyed the Targaryen family, but her vision led them to leaving for Dragonstone, and they survived.
Aegon saw the Long Night coming, something that would end the world of man, and went about conquering Westeros so the Targaryens - dragon riders with valyrian steel swords and access to dragonglass - would be on the throne and the main authority in westeros so in the future the realm may survive.
Now, it isn't book!canon that Viserys I Targaryen was a dreamer, or Helaena, but in the show Viserys sees his son (aegon), wearing the Conquerors crown, sounds of war, the dragons roaring...my guy that is a warning that Otto is gonna use your son to usurp rhaenyra and war shall follow and the dragons roars are death throes, my guy...that was a warning the whole time of the Dance, but you were too dumb to see it, my guy...c'mon....even helaena's dreams are warnings. "He'll have to close an eye", "threads of green, threads of black, hand turns loom" like ??? AND "there's a beast beneath the boards" like HELLOO???
Dragon dreams are warnings of strife coming to the targaryen family and viserys misinterpreted his own, leading to the dance of dragons and you can't change my mind okthanksbye

THE MESSENGER OF THE COVENANT
Malachi 3:5 And I will come near to you to judgement; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts.

The Angel and the Small Scroll
1-4 Then I saw another mighty angel descending from Heaven. He was clothed in a cloud, and there was a rainbow around his head. His face blazed like the sun, his legs like pillars of fire, and he had a little book lying open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the land, and then shouted with a loud voice like the roar of a lion. And when he shouted the seven thunders lifted their voices. When the seven thunders had rolled I was on the point of writing but I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders said, but do not write it down!”
5-7 Then the angel whom I had seen bestriding the sea and the land raised his right hand to Heaven and swore by the living one of the timeless ages, who created Heaven, earth and sea and all that is in them: “There shall be no more delay! In the days which shall soon be announced by the trumpet-blast of the seventh angel the mysterious purpose of God shall be completed, as he assured his servants the prophets.”
8 Then the voice which I had heard from Heaven was again in my ears, saying, “Go, and take the little book which lies open in the hand of the angel whose feet are planted on both sea and land.”
9 So I went off towards the angel, asking him to give me the little book. “Take it,” he said to me, “and eat it up. It will be bitter to your stomach, but sweet as honey in your mouth.”
10 Then I took the little book from the angel’s hand and swallowed it. It was as sweet as honey to the taste but when I had eaten it up it was bitter to my stomach.
John is instructed to prophesy
11 Then they said to me, “It is again your duty to prophesy about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.” — Revelation 10 | J.B. GUYS I'VE EXPERIENCED A ✨THOUGHT✨
in the book "Percy Jackson And the Sea Of Monsters" it's mentioned that sirens lure people in by mesmerizing them with songs about their deepest desires. And I thought "oh that's a cool power, what if Percy had it?"
And then I remembered a fanfic I had read forever ago where Percy was an oracle?? (Idk I can't find it anymore)
And it kinda spiralled from there.
So now I have this hc in which Percy has the power of siren song AND prophecy, but with a ✨twist✨
The twist is, the powers blend into each other. Like, 50% of the time it's a regular siren song, the other 50% it's an actual prophecy. And Percy of course, is totally unaware of any of this happening. For context I think that he cannot control any of these powers and they only activate on instinct and he is totally out of it when that happens. (Also nobody can ever tell if it's a song or a prophecy cause it's phrased really cryptic)
And since it's a 50/50 chance of getting a siren song or getting a prophecy, there would definitely be situations like:
Percy: passed out, humming incoherently
Random camper: yo are u ok
Percy: * softly humming the Bill Wurtz song* Mt Saint helens is about to blow up
Camper: AYO WHA-
And other situations like:
Percy: falls asleep on Annabeth
Annabeth: also about to doze off
Percy: *sits up like he's in a horror movie, ominously singing* IT HAPPENS TOMORROW
Annabeth: crying, 🅱️lease Percy this is the sixth time let me sleep
And some situations like:
Percy: in the club, singing
Everyone else: OH HADES OH MY GAWD HE BE DOIN IT AGAIN SOMEONE CALL CHIRON
