You don't like that fic, you don't like that author, you don't like that particular variation of "depraved and out of character" Joel. Ok, but I love that shit. I'm an insatiable dog that wants to read the same "Joel but he's a complete psycho and there's one sleeping bag and he cums buckets" over and over and over again. "life doesnt get better, you just get stronger" does NOT include ages 11-17. life does in fact just get better from there. those years are dogshit. like, you do get stronger but its mostly just a factor of not being 11-17 anymore. positive thinking helps but it doesnt fix whatevers going on at 15, you have to brute force through that one raw
