love, there’s no such thing as a “bi lesbian.” someone can’t be bi and a lesbian. Coming from a lesbian myself it just doesn’t happen that way. Being a bisexual means that you like BOTH, being a lesbian means you ONLY like non men. It’s a mockery of real lesbians, it’s not a real sexuality.

Let’s take this apart separately, shall we?

Tell that to all the Bi Lesbians that follow me, and like my posts, and request for posts.

Tell that to the Bi Lesbians I reblog from and talk to occasionally.

Tell that to the older queers that identify as Bi Lesbians.

I guess apparently they don’t exist then. 🤷

“Someone can’t be Bi and a Lesbian”

Ah, this is a very popular one on this blog that I keep getting. I could link you to those, but I won’t. Here’s some ways you can be Bi and a Lesbian at the same time:

Biromantic Homosexuals

Homoromantic Bisexuals

Bi people who label themselves as Lesbians, to reclaim queer history. Because ALL Sapphics, regardless of if they were attracted to men or not, were referred to as Lesbians.

Bi people may also label themselves as Lesbians to reclaim being called a Lesbian by Biphobes trying to get them to pick one.

Bi people who lean more towards women, may call themselves Bi Lesbians.

Abroromantics/Abrosexuals may label themselves as Bi Lesbians because their orientation only swings back and forth between those two.

“Coming from a Lesbian myself, it just doesn’t happen that way.”

Well, for the second part, “It doesn’t happen that way”, just go back to the previous comments on “Someone can’t be Bi and a Lesbian”. It does and can happen.

Now for the first part “Coming from a Lesbian myself”. I hear this a lot. Not just from Lesbians, not just from queer people, but people of all different communities, one thing I hear all the time is “Coming from a [Blank] myself”. You need to understand that you are not the only Lesbian on earth. And Lesbians are not a hive-mind. You’re not all the same, and you’re not all going to have the same opinions. If that were the case, all Lesbians would look, talk, act the same way, and have the same views. But you don’t, because you’re not a hive-mind. Simply implying that all people of the same sexuality should have the same opinions is wrong. Believe it or not, I’ve seen all different kinds of lesbians who were Pro-Mspec Lesbian, who were Anti-Mspec Lesbian, and were neutral on Mspec Lesbians. And if all Lesbians had the same opinions, you would not be separated on these different opinions.

Being Bi means that you could just about like any gender. It doesn’t just mean both, as in men and women. Bi people could definitely just be attracted to women and men, but they’re also Bi people attracted to all different kinds of genders under the Nonbinary umbrella.

As for being a Lesbian, it means that you’re attracted to women and Nonbinary people. And if we can agree on that, we also have to agree that there are other Nonbinary genders where one identifies as a woman AND a man, that you may also be attracted to. Saying that Lesbians don’t like men excludes Multigender people. Even if that’s not how you mean for it to sound, I can tell you that a lot of Multigender people feel that way.

Also, a common misconception is that Non-Men and Non-Women is okay to use for Gay and Lesbian definitions. It’s not. What you probably didn’t know, is that the terms have racist origins. Black and indigenous queer people have literally been talking about this since this definition was coined. “Non-Men” and “Non-Women” are terms that have been historically used to describe the degendering of black people.

Forcing these terms for queer definitions is Anti-Black, I could forgive you if you didn’t know that and stop using those definitions after now knowing the origins.

But if you still use these definitions even after knowing this, congratulations! You’re racist! Pretty sure there was a book about this, “Bad faith and anti-black racism” by Lewis R. Gordon.

“It’s a mockery of real lesbians, it’s not a real sexuality.”

Mspecs have just as big a part in Lesbian history as Lesbians.

All sapphics were Lesbians regardless of if they liked men.

The term “Bi Lesbian” has been around since the 70s. I’d like to see you try and tell an older queer Bi Lesbian, that they’re “mocking” Lesbians and that their sexuality isn’t real. They probably accomplished more than you have in your entire life, because you want to fight with people on queer labels that you think are and aren’t valid because apparently no queer identity is acceptable unless you agree with it.

Love, wether you like it or not, Bi Lesbians and even male Lesbians have always existed and will continue existing. And they don’t need your permission to be themselves.

Jupiteric Microlabels yay

Mspec lesbians are lunians, mspec veldians are solians, and mspec gays of any kind are stellians. What about mspec straights? They're called Jupiterics! I made some labels based off the Galilean Moons (Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto) + the famous Great Red Spot. I'm gonna nickname them zeus's microlabels for the tag because Jupiter is the roman equivalent of the greek god Zeus.

#1: Ioan Jupiteric (may be shortened to Ioan)

Meaning: A jupiteric who considers themselves jupiteric because they are attracted to multiple opposingly, neutrally, xenically, and/or unaligned genders

#2: Europan Jupiteric (may be shortened to Europan, but be prepared for confusion on being a europan vs european)

Meaning: A jupiteric who considers themselves jupiteric because they are mspec, however their attraction towards opposingly, neutrally, xenically, and/or unaligned genders is significantly stronger, and the feel somewhere in between mspec and straight; using Jupiteric as an alternative to heteroflexible

#3: Ganymedean Jupiteric (may be shortened to Ganymedean)

Meaning: A jupiteric who considers themselves jupiteric because they use the split attraction model and are straight in one form of attraction and mspec in another

#4: Callistoan Jupiteric (may be shortened to Callistoan)

Meaning: A jupiteric who considers themselves jupiteric because they are mspec, but they call themselves straight. They may choose to identify this way because of being in an m/f or other different-gender relationship, and/or reclaiming "straight" being used to erase their mspec identity (being called straight passing, basically straight, excluded from queer spaces for being in an m/f or m/f appearing relationship). Reason for use is up to the user!

#5: Galilean Jupiteric (may be shortened to Galilean)

Meaning: A jupiteric who's jupiteric experience is fluid and ever changing. They may be a Ganymedean jupiteric one day, then in a week find themselves to be an Ioan.

#6: Great Red Spot Jupiteric

Meaning: A jupiteric who's jupiteric experience is either in somewhere in between these microlabels or completely outside of it. A non-moon was chosen to represent the latter. Like I've always said, people I missed are valid, I'm just not all-knowing. You can coin your own jupiteric microlabels for your experiences!

Polyflux

Experiencing attraction to multiple genders, but not all genders, and also experiencing fluid or fluctuating attraction.

For example, a polyflux person might experience attraction to several genders at one point, fewer genders at another, and none at another. A polyflux person might also have varying preferences between the genders they're attracted to.

This word is also sometimes used in reference to gender identity, as a shortening of polygenderflux. Plyflux may instead be used for the orientation to prevent confusion.

Poly-lesbian

Someone who is both ply (e.g. polysexual, polyromantic, etc.) and a lesbian. This could mean:

They experience fluid attraction

They use the split attraction model

They're attracted to many genders, but not (binary) men

Other potential reasons

Poly-gay (gaylm)

Someone who is both ply (e.g. polysexual, polyromantic, etc.) and gay for men. This could mean:

They experience fluid attraction

They use the split attraction model

They're attracted to many genders, but not (binary) women

Other potential reasons

Gay can also be substituted with other terms for gaylm, such as turian, veldian, cinthean, or other terms.

Poly-cenelian

Someone who is both ply (e.g. polysexual, polyromantic, etc.) and cenelian. This could mean:

They experience fluid attraction

They use the split attraction model

They're attracted to many genders, but not binary genders

Other potential reasons

A Bi Lesbian can be someone who is:

1. Biromantic Homosexual

2. Homoromantic Bisexual

3. It can be someone who fits under a Bi definition, but labels themselves as a Lesbian. (One of the many reasons for this is because all sapphics used to be called Lesbians.

4. An Abroromantic/Abrosexual whose identity constantly switches back and forth between being Bi and being a Lesbian.

So, yes, it is entirely possible to be both Bi and a Lesbian.

You calling me homophobic when the whole point of homophobia is to be someone who dislikes ANY and ALL queer people is ironic, because it awfully sounds like YOU’RE the one who’s homophobic.

Bashing on ANY queer identity, even the ones you don’t like, is homophobia. Exclusionists and gatekeepers don’t belong in the LGBTQIA+ Community.

In your tags you also said “LGB drop the T”, so it looks like you’re really living up to you being exclusionary. One of the first people who ended up giving us Pride Month was Marsha P. Johnson who was a Trans rights activist.

You also implied that I was straight in the tags, like it or not, but there are other queer people that are allies to Mspec Lesbians not including Mspec Lesbians.

And the term “Bi Lesbian” has been around since the 90s and maybe even longer than that.

Also comparing Queer identities that you don’t like to Nazi’s and KKK is gross. Because you sound like the same people who compare queer people to pedophiles or zoophiles.

Mspec Lesbians people are not pushing out Lesbians and Bi people, they’re trying to find a place in this community to fit in. JUST like how queer people tried to do with straight people. All queer identities INCLUDING ones that you don’t like is homophobia, and it doesn’t make you any better than straight homophobes just because you’re also queer. This community started as ALL queer people loving ALL queer people. Exclusionary is so stupid and defeats one of the most important reasons on why Pride exists. Because Queer people are supposed to support each other.

To deconstruct gender, you must also deconstruct sexuality.
