This came into my mind, since I got a lot of people telling me yandere content and anything similar to that is encouraging that behavior irl. And no, it doesn't. That's like saying video games encourage school shooters. Fiction is fiction, and that realm doesn't fall under the rules of real life. You can have a discussion over the characters, which is common, but implying that anyone who reads it or writes that stuff will commit to those things in the real world is insane

If you are one of the people who can't see the difference between the real world and fiction, stay away from that sort of content. You can argue that children are probably reading yandere, gore, non-con, and similar content. And yes, they probably do. I was a child ones who read that stuff. But, the authors are not the ones responsible for those kids, nor are they supposed to walk on egg shells on the internet. The responsibility lies on the parents to teach the difference between right and wrong, fiction and reality. I am sorry, but it's not my responsibility. And if you as an adult can't tell the difference between reality and fiction, then avoid, block, or ignore content you don't like.

Honestly, it's just tiring seeing the same 5 arguments on the internet. And it's not even an argument, it's just an echo chamber and full of yes people. Just enjoy what you want and leave others alone.
