a/n: im so glad that people liked part 1!! this will probably be the last thing that i write before i leave for a while :(

characters: Yelena ~ Pieck F. ~ Porco G. ~ Erwin S. ~ Hange Z.

bedtime with: Yelena✨️

my love <3

definitely prefers if you both have the same sleep schedule because it just makes things easier

probably usually goes to bed at around 10-11? so just a little late but she has a whole routine to do before she goes to sleep anyway

she has to make sure all the dishes are put away, the living room is organized, and everything is nice and tidy for the morning

and i feel like she has her own little skincare routine, you talked her into it, but now she really can't live without it

she enjoys when you both are in the bathroom together, doing your routines and brushing your teeth, there's something about the domestic image of both of you standing at your shared sink that really entices her

when both of you are in bed, she usually reads for a while, letting her mind finally slow down after a hard day of work

if you ask her, she'll definitely read out loud to you, with one of her hands holding the book and the other stroking your hair

most of the time you fall asleep during her reading, so after she's done she carefully moves you off of her, turns off her light, and moves to scoop you in her arms for the night

she also probably wakes up before you to make breakfast <3

bedtime with: Pieck F.🍵

honestly anytime can be bedtime for her, because she can sleep anywhere and anytime

your nights probably end with watching a show while pieck lays on you (definitely dozing off)

so when the show is over you have to wake up a grumpy pieck, who isn't as grumpy when she sees your face, telling her to come to bed

you always have to drag her along a little bit because she's so tired, but she's grateful when you offer to help her brush her teeth, knowing how close to sleep she already is

she likes to flop onto the bed after she brushes her teeth, savoring the feeling of getting into bed (even though she slept so much already)

prefers when you lay on her, she can treat you like a pillow, hugging you closer to her warm chest

she definitely owns a lot of stuffies, because she feels bad for getting rid of them so she just has too many

makes you listen to her little rambles before she goes to sleep, most of them don't make too much sense.. but you listen and nod your head anyway <3

stubborn asf.

goes to sleep when he wants to go to sleep

if you beg him enough he will go to bed earlier with you, but he just prefers to stay up later (he also likes when you fall asleep on him but he won't admit it)

you tried to get him to start drinking tea before bed, and of course he said he didn't like it, but when you aren't around he always drinks chamomile tea before bed

snorer :(

if you shove him, he'll adjust to a position where it's not too loud, but most of the time you have to wear earplugs to block out the sound

prefers when you just lay right in top on him and rest your head in his neck

he also really likes the smell of your conditioner, especially if it's coconut or something tropical like that

bedtime with: Erwin S.👔

erwin 💞

knows that it's better for you to go to bed early so he tries to get you to sleep earlier

likes to cuddle you before you're even in bed, like on the couch watching a show

because he's so warm, he likes when you cuddle closer to him for warmth

okay i think he buys matching things for you and him, like matching toothbrushes, matching mugs, matching pajamas and stuff like that

since he's so warm all the time he doesn't like to have too many blankets on him, usually just the sheets and the comforter, but it's okay because he keeps you warm enough

cuddles with you until you fall asleep, then he rests your head on the pillow and just holds your hand as he falls asleep

another snorer 😔

his snores sound like a vacuum

you could never tell him to just shut up so you just have to deal with it

but he's super apologetic about it when it makes you loose sleep and he tries to figure out ways to make it quieter <3

definitely wakes up before you as well, you'll usually wake up to him reading the newspaper while drinking coffee

he's another one who would read to you before bed as well, i think he reads a lot so he would be happy to read a chapter or two of his current book to you before he goes to sleep

bedtime with: Hange Z. 🔬

super active before bed

it's like they're a little kid and you have to calm them down before you go to bed

would beg you to watch "just one more episode!" which turns into way more and then you're going to sleep at 2am. again.

hange likes to take showers before they go to bed so you're usually in bed before they are

but it's okay when they get into bed and they smell so nice

their hair stays wet for a while after they shower so you always complain about it when they cuddle up to you

they don't really care though, they basically just shove themselves into your arms until you relax and pull them closer

definitely the type of person to wake up at like 3am to chug like 3 glasses of water, so if you wake up in the middle of the night and they aren't there, you know where they are

is really quiet getting back into bed though, they make sure to not disturb you

likes to sleep facing you with either your head on their chest or their head on yours

they like to listen to your heartbeat and your breathing slowing down before you sleep<3

- she’d be so worried oml. Mikasa would have such a parent reaction too lol. She’d basically be having an anxiety attack just waiting for you to walk through that front door. And the second you do, she’s scolding you about how late it is and how bad you scared her.

- “i thought something bad happened to you, why weren’t you answering my calls!?” she was about to go out looking for you. Awwww don’t scare her like that again! 😭

⋆.ೃ࿔*:･ annie

- “where the hell has your ass been!?” uh oh Annie’s mad. Only cause she was scared for you. She knows how dangerous it is out alone, and especially at this time of night!! “God are you crazy y/n! Do you know what could’ve happened to you!?”

- she’d be mad you didn’t tell her how long you were going to be and stays grumpy the rest of the night. Oops sorry Annie! But awww you were worried for mee

- she’d kind of have the same reaction of mikasa. She’d wait for you, lights on and all at 3am, barley aware just to make sure you come home safe. And when you do she hugs you and tells you how concerned she was for you.

- when you told her your phone just died, a big sigh of relief would come over her. After that, she’d always remind you to pack your charger so stuff like this doesn’t happen again lol.

- “gosh it’s late, I was wondering when you were going to get home,” she’d shout from her office. They’d stay up doing work, but wouldn’t go to sleep until you were home. Of course they were a big worried, but Hange knows that you’re strong and you can handle yourself. Oh and trust me if she even felt like for a second something bad happened to you she’d have a search party out looking for you in a matter of minutes.

- peck you on the cheek and tell you she loves you. Theyd also sigh and be like “FINALLY I CAN SLEEP”

- “and you say I stay out late!?” Hitch would say. For the past hour she’d already called all your friends, family, their friends, mutuals, basically anyone you’ve ever met in your entire life lol. Hitch has her ways. But she was just worried! You don’t normally stay out that late!

- tells you she’s glad you’re okay. :)

- you walk in to find Commander Erwin and an annoyed captain levi at her side. “Uhmm… whats going on…” Sasha would practically jump on you, glad you’re home. “OH MY GOD Y/N I THOUGHT SOEMTHING BAD HAPPENED SO I TOLD THE COMMANDER AND CAPTAIN TO SEND A SEARCH PARTY AND-“

- “you did what now 😀” you’d say. “I told you I’d be home a bit later Sasha.” You’d hear Levi tsk and mumble a ‘what a waste of time’ and Erwin’s just like “glad you’re safe y/n!”

Little things they do to show you they love you

Author Note

Hi! This will be the last of the series. I've linked the previous parts for you to read. Here's the song I listened to while writing this. I feel like this part is more gloomy because hey I'm kind of a mess rn haha. I hope you still enjoy it, tho. Again, these actions can be perceived platonically or romantically, whatever suits you.

Reiner

Reiner worries about you a lot even though you're a grown adult, fully capable of doing stuff on your own. When you both are apart from each other, you keep each other updated. What you both are doing, where you're at, who you're with. After you got your own car, Reiner text you to drive safe all the time. Especially when you're alone or during the winter. He can help you if you cut your finger when cooking, he can help you if you're sick from walking in the rain, but he can't really help you if anything happens while you're driving alone. He doesn't want to think of the worst case scenario. Whatever your relationship is with him, whether it's romantic or platonic, he doesn't want to lose you.

Annie

Annie is not the type of person who will explicitly say she loves you. She is also not a big fan of physical contact. You are no exception, but she really does care for you a lot. So, whenever you're out with her and need to cross a street, she will hold your hand. She doesn't ask you if you need help crossing the street, nor does she glances at you and smile (like you often sees in movies). Annie just automatically holds your hand and leads you forward, looking both ways to make sure everything is safe.

Pieck

Pieck is a busy lady, okay? She works hard, every single day. She's highly professional and her colleagues count on her a lot. However, when it's just the two of you, she puts away any mental to-do list or any work-related stuff. She just wants to be with you, listening to you talking. She pays attention to you and you only. Of course, she will talk about work if you ask her about it. Though, she'd rather spend her free time not worrying about work. She feels like she can relax and be her everyday, cheerful self with you.

Zeke

Having a relationship in general is not easy, but having a relationship with Zeke is definitely on the next level. He can be stubborn at times, and even though he doesn't mean it, he might say things that hurt you. Not to mention, his *cough* family issue. Loving Zeke, as a friend or as a lover, is not easy. You both argue a lot, often times resulting in one of you taking time away from the other. Most of the time, it's you who request a time off. Now, Zeke is quite a prideful man alright. He doesn't go mushy and beg you to stay. He let you go be alone for a few days, but eventually he will be the one who apologizes first. He doesn't do that with other people, but he does for you. Because you never leave him, and he would love to keep it that way.

Bertholdt

Bertholdt can be shy at times, especially when he just met someone for the first time. Maintaining eye contact while someone else is talking to him can be difficult. He felt uncomfortable, like the other person might discover who he really is just by staring into his eyes. How insecure he feels sometimes, the dark thoughts that he keeps for lonely nights, and other things private. You are the only exception. You don't judge, you show him that hey, it's alright to be a little messed up sometimes. You've seen him in states that nobody else has ever seen, even his parents. That is why he's not afraid to look into your eyes. He appreciates you, and he lets you in.

Porco

Porco can be passive-aggressive at times and most of the time he might think he's always right, especially when it has been a long day for him. People might start an argument, or they'll let it go while mentally cursing the man. You, on the other hand, you're one of the few people who can deal with him. Instead of starting an argument (causing him to get worked up) or walking away (and seeing him with a smug expression), you just simply say "Alrighty~ Agree to disagree" It's a new response that Porco didn't anticipate, and you say it with the most chill tone/expression. After awhile, he tried not to be so snappy and cocky with you. He even gives up his need to always be right. You can tell him the rain happens because the angels are taking a piss, and he'll just nodded. "Whatever you say..."

Idk man, I just really love Bertholdt, Reiner, and Zeke. Precious men. Deserves better. I love them.

💭 aot girls + hange getting caught staring feat. mikasa, annie, hitch, ymir, nanaba, yelena

MIKASA

you two were enjoying a peaceful afternoon together, doing your own things and just enjoying each other's company. you were reading, immersed in a world between the pages, when mikasa found herself staring. taking in the way you bit your lip in concentration, how your eyes would widen and a quiet gasp would fall from your lips as your eyes skimmed the paper. she hadn't been staring long (or so she told herself), when you looked in her direction to check on her. your face warmed up upon realising she'd been gazing at you. her eyes immediately drop down to her lap, a bashful smile spreading on her lips before she lifts her head again and softly mutters about how adorable you are. now it was your turn to blush.

ANNIE

another day's work had just finished and you two had retreated to your rooms to retire. you were telling annie about your day, recounting every detail and ranting to your heart's content. the nights you shared usually ended like this, with you doing all the talking as you freshened up for bed and annie paying attention to every thing you had to say, nodding her head and humming from time to time in response. you didn't mind it though, knowing she's not really much of a talker and that she cherished your presence as much as you did hers. as you were brushing your hair in front of your dresser, you happened to look at annie from the mirror and caught her gaze, already on you. she was quick to avert her eyes, tucking her hair and pretending it never happened.

HITCH

hitch is not one bit shy when it comes to showing you her affection. she takes every chance to let you know how much she loves you and cares about you. she believes that if you value someone, you shouldn't hesitate to show them whenever, to never take any opportunity to do so for granted. that's why whenever you catch her looking at you, she leans in to you and pecks your lips. there's no use being discreet anymore when she's blown her cover. she might as well go for it and give you the love you deserve.

YMIR

another one who's not afraid to smother you with her attention. she thrives in the way your eyes sparkle with fondness (or crinkle with faux disgust) every time she declares her love for you. she finds all your reactions adorable, and to be frank, she'd flirt bother you for the rest of her life if she could. when you find her staring at you, her response is always to throw you some pickup lines. for dramatic effect, she also always acts like it's your first time meeting each other by starting it off with “hey, pretty girl.” or something along those lines.

HANGE

hange adores studying everything you do. you would tease them sometimes about the way they take note of even the smallest habits you didn't even know you had, commenting that you're like an expreiment of theirs, the way they pay close attention to you all the time. they just can't help but feel the need to know everything about you. every time you catch their eyes on you, they would pat your head with the softest look on their face.

NANABA

there isn't a time where nanaba isn't looking after you. whether it be through giving you gentle reminders throughout the day, watching out for things you might bump yourself into, not letting you lift anything she might consider too heavy for you, whatever it is she's always finding a way to help. when you catch her staring, she plays it off as her simply helping you with something, always ready with excuses as to why her eyes were on you longer than usual (which you often see through anyway despite how smooth she can be, but her attempts are cute). “you got something on your cheek, sweetheart. here, let me remove it for you.”

PIECK

you're the one staring.

YELENA

let's be honest she doesn't even try to hide the fact that she's enjoying the view (aka you). she loves you inside and especially out, which is why one of her favorite hobbies is eyeing you up. you're the prettiest girl she's ever laid her eyes on and isn't one bit shy to let the whole world know. she'd scream it at the top of every rooftop just to prove her point. if you happen to turn her way while she's not so secretly admiring you, she'd only get cockier, the smug expression on her face not faltering even once.

chars: mikasa, annie, sasha, pieck, historia, ymir, and hange

mikasa isn't really affected by her period unless the cramps are really bad. in that case, she lays down and tries to rest. she's always at your side the moment you need anything, whether that be food, water, a blanket, heating pad, you name it, and she'll get it for you. she gives you massages to try to help as well, she gives the best massages. if your cramps are really bad, she'll lay down with you and let you use the heating pad, even if you argue that she should use it. she just loves you too much to see you in so much pain <3

annie is already a cold person, so when she's on her period, everyone does their best to avoid her out of fear. she can definetely be mean when she's on her period, but she learns to keep her emotions in tact with you. she knows you're in pain too and doesn't want to trigger one of your mood swings. her mood swings aren't that bad, she just gets pissed off a lot easier. she'll make both of you coffee and just cuddle with you in bed and watch movies with you for the day. like mikasa, she'll force you to use the heating pad even if you argue. she just wants to help <3

sasha gets really emotional when she's on her period. one minute she'll be laughing at everything and the next she's sobbing. she gets really bad cramps, too. when you sync up with her, she gets all excited and thinks it's cute and won't leave you alone the entire time. when your cramps kick in, she gets a ton of snacks and cuddles up with you like annie and watches movies. she's naturally really warm so she'll just pull you close and place a hand on your stomache. if you tell her she helped sooth the cramps she'll start crying. overall she's just super clingy and comforting <3

pieck already sleeps a lot, so she usually tries to just sleep through the days where her cramps are bad. however, when you two sync up, she refuses. she'll drink a ton of coffee to keep herself up so that she can help you when you need it. she'll make the most comfortable spot on your bed and get you a heating pad. she's a huge cuddler and when she's on her period she gets really warm, too. her period makes herr get tired way faster so she'll provably run out of energy quick even with all the coffee. whenever she knows her period is coming up she'll refrain from using her titan form to get used to walking just in case you sync up again so she can help. she's super sweet and makes sure you're comfortable <3

historia is usually really busy and tends to overwork herself, even during her period. but if you sync up she drops everything to help you. she buys you overpriced medicine that she thinks might help with the cramps, which it never does, but it's so sweet that she tried anyways. she buys expensive tea, too. she'll give you extra in hopes of soothing your cramps, since the medicine didn't work. she could afford a heating pad for both of you, but never uses hers because she's always helping you. she probably blew a hundred bucks just trying to help with your cramps alone <3

ymir is already really laid-back, so when she' on her period, she ghosts everyone, safe from you, and binge watches some cheesy horror franchise she hates for the hell of it. historia probably gave her some of that expensive medicine, so she'll give you some to try to help. she'll a total bitch during her period and won't stop complaining, but she's always like that, and that's why you love her. like annie, she also gets pissed off easier. if the tv freezes during one of the horror movies, she'll nearly throw the remote. she says when your cramps are better you two'll recreate one of the cheesy scenes during the end credits <3

hange's period doesn't usually affect them all too much, it invalidates them more than anything. since they're non-binary, it makes them feel more like a girl, and that just upsets them. they probably keep to themselves a bit more until they hear you're on your period as well. they definetely tried to make their own special medicine but it ended up making the cramps way worse. they ended up crying, mostly because of one of their mood swings, but also because they brought you more pain. at the end of the day, they've got you cuddled up in their arms under a heated blanket they made themself <3

Her weight upon his shoulder wakes him up. Jean has no idea how it happened; — them passing out on the couch like that,— but he's not about to question it out just now.

He looks at Pieck, who's still asleep; her head nudging his. The last scraps of sunset frame her long, dark lashes— flush the bridge of her nose, ever so slightly. She's not at all his type, she shouldn't be. Yet, there's something about her that makes his heart jump. A unique kind of charm that paints her all shades of pretty.

Maybe, he thinks, it's the heavy snores slipping out of her. Maybe, it's that we're our most vulnerable when we're sleeping— and he's never seen Pieck not put up a fight against him.

"Hey...", he shakes her up a bit, careful not to scare her. The rest of the group has gone to the markets to buy dinner, and he doesn't want them to find them like this, all huddled against one another.

Pieck yawns, then nuzzles further into his crooks and crevices. Her breaths come and go, warm and tender on his skin. A small smile makes her lips curve.

She's beautiful. And tiny. And everything Jean had sworn he'd never fall for. But she can make him laugh, even when she's blissfully unaware. She can have her hair splash out of her low-buns, and somehow make that work, as well.

"I'm so fucked.", he tells himself, when he tucks a black strand behind her ear. His touch lingers, delicate, almost as if she was made of glass. And Pieck hums, content, wrapping an arm loose around him.

She can be fierce at times; so much so, it often gives him headaches. He knows, he shouldn't feel this— this tingle in his stomach— when he guards her close. He shouldn't want to keep her safe from harm, so that she doesn't have to be fierce anymore.

Yet here he is. Damn, here he is.

"I'm so, so fucked."

🤍a completely random modern au headcanon for each aot character 🤍

eren jaeger’s idea of late night fun is going to walmart/target/etc. he likes to walk around with his friends and be absolutely childish. bonus: he’s banned from a certain store for kicking an inflatable ball across the store.

armin arlert is self conscious of his body. it’s only really his torso though. when him and his friends go to the beach, he’s always the last one to take his shirt off. he doesn’t even have anything to be embarrassed about, he’s just disappointed he’s not as muscular as eren or reiner.

mikasa ackerman’s favorite color is a dark red. the blood, cherry type of red. she’s got a lip tint in that color and her nails are painted too much. she also chews her nails. she hopes the nail polish is enough to break the habit but it isn’t.

connie springer’s favorite fast food restaurant is burger king. he thinks it’s underrated. you can count on him to fuck up a whopper. he also always gets the cardboard crowns to wear.

jean kirstein loves night time. he loves the solitude, the way nobody expects anything from him, and the fact that he can just be. he doesn’t get lonely during his late nights but he wouldn’t mind somebody to share it with.

sasha braus smells really good. she doesn’t use any super fancy products, though. she’s just one of those people that naturally have a good aroma. her skin is also really soft.

ymir tans really easy in the summer. she never burns or turns red. she’s genetically blessed. the sun also makes the freckles on her face pop and clusters of them pop up on her back/shoulders.

historia reiss loves milkshakes and soda floats. she always orders them with a whipped cream and cherry. she prefers milkshakes from a diner rather than a fast food place.

marco bodt really likes plants. he has a collection of houseplants. they line his window sills and he even has a special little rack with a special little light. he’s got a super green thumb.

reiner braun drinks protein shakes religiously. he pretty much sticks to a diet of shakes, meat, vegetables and rice. there are few times where he breaks his routine, usually just joining his friends for a night of drinking.

bertholdt hoover has a surprisingly high tolerance when it comes to weed and alcohol. at least that’s what it looks like on the outside. he’s pretty cool, calm and collected. nobody’s sure if he’s immune to being drunk, or if he’s too anxious about acting a fool to show any signs of inebriation.

annie leonhardt owns a german shepherd 100%. she’s had it since it was a pup and it’s one of the most well behaved dogs. they’re oddly similar in their mannerisms. bonus: it’s named marley.

pieck finger is the type of girl to sit on the floor. like, at all times. when she’s sad, she’ll lay down completely and just stare at the ceiling. it’s peaceful and it makes her feel relaxed.

porco galliard goes through an ungodly amount of hairgel. his hair is hard like those ballroom/ballet dancers in competitions. he has trouble growing facial hair.

zeke jaeger gets his weed flown to him from another state/country. it’s the best shit around. he’s also never home because he “runs a business.” always found with a blunt near by.

levi ackerman doesn’t like energy drinks or coffee. if he needs caffeine, he gets it from tea or some kind of health drink. he doesn’t understand how kids hearts don’t give out with all their monsters and red bulls.

erwin smith is so friendly despite his appearance. he finds joy in little things like a heads up penny or when the barista remembers his name/order. he’s a pretty easy going guy.

hange zoe breaks her glasses all the time. they either sit on them or step on them. it’s easy for them to lose their glasses because their room is a mess. books, papers, knick knacks everywhere.

you liked to call pieck your little heater, she was always warm, no matter where you were, she would hold your hand and it would always warm you up. today, she had invited you to her favorite coffee shop. you looked outside your window, looking at the light smattering of clouds and deciding you probably wouldn't need a jacket. as always, pieck texted you when she was 5 minutes away, letting you gather up your things before meeting her outside. "hi sweetie! you look so nice today, are you sure you don't want a jacket? i checked the weather and it looked like it was gonna get pretty cold.." she said, bringing you in for a warm hug. "hi pieck, yeah im okay i don't think it'll get too cold" you answered, kissing her cheek. she nodded, opening her car door for you. you giggled at her caringness, giving her another kiss. she turned on some soft music, pulling out of her usual parking spot in front of your house. you looked over at her, noticing her smile as she hummed along softly to the music.

once you got to the cafe, pieck immediately held your hand, dragging you along to get in the long line. "you're pretty excited huh pieck?" you giggled, squeezing her hand. she pouted, telling you to shush as she read the menu, pointing out her favorites and things she thought you would like. you nodded along with her suggestions, swinging her hand in yours as you stood in line.

finally, you got to the front of the line, pieck ordering your drinks and a couple pastries for you to snack on. you engaged in small talk with her, walking around and sipping your drinks while looking into shop windows. looking up, you saw clouds starting to gather, covering the sun and taking its warmth away from you. you and pieck found a bench to sit on while you finished the last of your drinks, as the weather started getting cooler, you started shivering, leaning more into pieck to steal some if her warmth. "you seem cold, would you like my coat?" pieck asked gently, rubbing your arm. you nodded, watching her take off her warm jacket and wrap it around you, also wrapping you in a warm hug as well. "thank you pieck, are you sure you're not going to be too cold?" you asked, snuggling into her side. she shook her head, "im all good sweetheart, as long as you're warm" you held her hand, absorbing her warmth and closing your eyes. this would have to become a regular thing for the two of you.

Masquerade

Content: 2.4k words of trying to figure out who is the one you are meeting at a party. (barely proof read! Forgive me. A little rushed and simple but please enjoy)

"A ball?" You wonder.

"A masquerade!" Sasha squeals.

"At whose place?" Did you hear right?

"The new girl, Pieck!"

"And, we're invited?" You don't know her very well.

"Everyone is invited!" Sasha was not officially invited but assumes at this point it's an open invitation.

"Well, it's not at her place. She's renting a hall out." Sasha clarifies now that she's taken it down a notch.

"Oh?" You question. That sounds expensive. Just where is she from?

"Don't worry! We're creative. Besides, no one I know has enough funds for an elaborate costume. Fabrics store, here we come!" And when Sasha says you're creative, she means you.

It all sounds fun and soon you here people talking about it and decide you'd like to go, so spend half an afternoon with Sasha and another friend Historia getting supplies.

The day before the party it's all anyone can talk about and you're busy putting costumes together.

"Okay, I need a break." You say after all the cutting and gluing and sewing. Most of your outfit is done and you still need to put accessories on the mask.

The three of you go to a local coffee shop and get some snacks, sitting on a comfy community couch.

"I haven't talked to anyone else lately, who else is coming?" You ask of some of the others you usually hang out with. Everyones been so busy it's hard to keep up. It's no wonder people are looking forward to tomorrow.

"Most everyone I think is going to be there." Sasha confirms she talked to Connie earlier.

The last week everyone you usually see and hang out with has been doing their own thing either separately or in other smaller groups and you haven't been able to keep up.

"Hello." You hear a sweet voice to the side of you and look up, seeing Pieck herself.

Even in the cooler weather she's in a long skirt and sandals. She seems a little odd but nice enough.

"I'm glad you are coming." She says with a smile.

"Us too, thank you so much!" Historia smiles back.

"Oh, I have something for you." Pieck says your name and you are shocked she even knows it.

"Thank you." You say taking an envelope from her.

Just than her name is called and she waves goodbye and goes towards a blonde man with slicked back hair who you realize has been staring.

So, her friends are peculiar too, apparently.

"What is it?" Historia asks excitedly.

"Why didn't I get one?" Sasha asks and Historia rolls her eyes and shushes her as you open the envelope to find a beautiful card.

"Thankfully you didn't." You say wide eyed as you read the first line. Sasha boyfriend would be none to happy otherwise.

It's from someone, you're not sure who, who would like to meet at the party.

"A secret admirer?!" Historia can't contain herself as she reads over your shoulder.

"Who?!" Sasha doesn't even hear the 'secret' part as she tries to snatch it out of your hand.

"Stop it!" You push her hand away and hold it closer as you read, trying not to blush.

"Hello milady…" It starts. And continues on about how this person feels about you, and that you're both going to be at the party and they will be waiting for you all night, and if you'd like to meet, as the clock strikes eleven all will be revealed if you are standing alone by the main centerpiece.

"Oh my gosh!" Historia and Sasha finally get you to read it out loud and can't stop gushing.

"Who do you think it is?" You ask them both.

You've never gotten anything like this and your nerves seem to be louder than any other emotion, no matter how nice this is.

The girls are more excited than you as you talk about this letter and as you make it back from the shop your hands can't seem to still enough for you to decorate your mask. Thankfully you have help though.

"Don't be nervous!" Historia says as she glues pieces for you.

"Easy for you to say!" You insist.

"Who do you hope it is?" Sasha asks THE question, instead of continuing guessing.

"I…don't know." Who could it be? There is one, maybe. But no, you won't let yourself jump right to that.

You think of those who are attached and rule them out. No Niccolo, Armin, Ymir.

Connie? No, you two are close friends, nothing more.

Jean? Same there. You two joke because you can and are comfortable.

Eren? Hmm… he's a flirt, but no. He's been in an on again off again relationship that no doubt would work out.

Reiner? You barely know him, but he's said hello a few times. He seems to have a thing for Historia though, much to Ymirs great dislike.

What about the the one staring at you today with Pieck? You don't even think you know his name.

Later with your costumes finished you say your goodbyes and somehow get a good night sleep, dreaming about what awaits.

"Hello! You look amazing!" The next evening Pieck greets you at the front door of the massive hall already holding many people.

You all match in simple ball gowns, Historia in red, Sasha in purple, and you in green, all dark tones with some black. Your masks match your dresses.

"You too!" Historia says as Pieck pulls her, then Sasha, and finally you, into a quick hug.

Pieck is dressed exquisitely in dark blue and silver and it's hard not to feel plain next to something that obviously was not stitched together by an armature. But, she seems sincere in her compliment.

You know Historia and Sasha feel good about your costumes and try not to be your own worst critic. Honestly, after taking a deep breath, you feel a little more optimistic.

As you all walk in Pieck puts a hand on arm. "Don't be nervous."

"So, you know." You have been wondering if she did.

"I know enough. They asked for a bit of help. I know it'll all work out." It's easy to believe her and you are more at ease and looking forward to enjoying your evening.

The hostess goes to greet more people multiple times before finally staying in the main room.

You're in awe at the decorations and other costumes. Everyone looks almost regal.

You stick with who you came with for a bit before they're swept away by their partners.

"We'll be around!" Historia promises not to leave you alone all night.

"Don't worry, go!" You smile and wave. You'll be fine.

You watch everyone dancing or talking and try to figure out who you know. It's hard to tell when everyones masks on.

"Pardon."

You turn to see a man holding out a white flower to you. Your heart skips but you realize it's too early and you are not at the right spot for your meeting.

"H-hello." You say hesitantly. He has the wrong person.

"For you." He pushes the flower towards you but you fist your hands, making him smirk.

"It's not from me." He explains.

Oh. Then, you notice his hair. The thing not hidden behind his outfit.

"Oh! You were with Pieck the other day!" The creepy staring one.

"Well, I'm with Pieck now." He bobs the flower up and down and you finally take it.

"You're in on this too?" You try not to blush but feel you might be a little red.

He gently takes your arm and leads you onto the dance floor. "I guess. I was told to keep you company for a bit."

Turning to face you he holds a hand out. "This alright?" He is asking you to dance.

"A little weird." You admit but, why not?

So without crushing the flower in one hand, he pulls you in hold.

"Names Galliard by the way." He's pretty sure you don't know that.

So you step and turn and dance and Galliard has a comment once in a while. Just when you're getting the hang of things the song changes and he stops on the edge of the dance floor.

"Well, I hope this wasn't too awkward for you. Good luck." He does a slight bow and you watch as he sprints over to and up the stairs where Pieck greets him with a kiss.

He pulls away and says something and they both turn and spot you, Pieck giving a wave and a smile.

You wave back as you are on your own again. Looking around you spot two blondes dancing which can only be Annie and Armin. You are pretty sure you hear Historias giggle somewhere but can't see her.

"Hello." And there's another voice, and you freeze again for a moment before turning.

"Connie?" You recognize him straight away and he laughs.

He also has a white flower to give you.

"You're in on this?" You raise an eyebrow and he shrugs.

"All I now is this is yours and may I have this dance?" He gives you the flower and you are dancing again.

"When did you get here?" You ask, relaxed with your friend.

You talk and waltz (not perfectly) and catch up from the last week.

And then, just like before, you see something click for him and a new song starts and he's got you off the floor.

"We'll hang this weekend, yeah?" Connie tells you and you watch as in the swarm of people he finds Niccolo and Sasha, making you chuckle.

What next?

"Good evening." You feel yourself smile at the new voice and giggle when you see who it is.

"Armin?!" He smiles back and hands you another white flower.

"What is going on?" You ask, looking around to see who else might be near.

"Annie knows why I'm here, come on." He lets you know his partner is cool with all this and Armin is smiling as much as you are.

"You know." You state and he nods but won't say anything more. So, he does know who it is.

White flower four comes from Reiner. The big guy is a little awkward on the dance floor but you don't mind.

The little bit you get to spend with him, you find out he's really very nice.

"We'll have to hang out sometime." He says.

"Yes. Thank you." You tell him. It's sweet of everyone to be doing whatever this plan is.

You are soon left alone again and just as you go to look at the standing clock to check the time, a pair of hands cover your eyes from behind.

"Not yet." A voice insists, making you sigh.

You turn to find bright green eyes and pulled back hair.

"Eren. Hi." You half expected to see him at some point.

"Number five." He's keeping count as well as he hangs you the next flower.

"How many more?" You ask and he shrugs.

"It's getting pretty late." He mentions as he takes you in hold.

How your flowers aren't getting smashed when you are having a hard time holding your arm up another mystery of tonight.

It's near the end of another song you realize he's putting you in a specific place as he leaves you.

"See you." He says with a smile.

Another sigh passes your lips. It's just before eleven.

Right under the clock another man with a white flower is waiting.

His mask covers much more of his face and he's waiting for you to come to him.

You try to pick up on any identifies but even squinting can't tell.

So you head forward with your flowers and step to him just as the clock hits eleven.

"Number six." You say as he hands you the flower.

He gently reaches out and brushes your hair back.

You know the cologne he's wearing.

"Do you know the purpose of six white roses?" He asks, and you know that voice.

"Jean." You let out a breath. It's him. It's eleven. It must be him!

"One through five signifies different types of love." He speaks as you listen intently.

"Love at first sight, nothing will stand between us, I love you."

As he explains he lets you take off the mask covering his face, revealing underneath one covering just his eyes, like yours. Somewhere in your mind you realize somehow his costume matches yours.

"And six?" You want to know.

You hear him gulp. He's still nervous. "I want to be yours."

That's all it takes and your arms are around his neck, flowers tickling his ear as his arms go around your waist.

"Yes. Yes!" You repeat and he laughs.

You pull back and crash your lips into his, taking him by surprise.

"All of this?!" You almost scream as you forcefully break away.

"You didn't like it?" He is out of breath.

"I…didn't know. It didn't have to be all this. I'm, not mad. I just didn't know." You ramble a little bit.

"So, next time I wanna tell you something maybe I should just say it?" He teases.

You thrust the flowers at him.

"You can, but it better be good." You make it known you will accept nothing less.

He nods. "You happy it's me?" He can't believe the outcome.

"So happy." You nod as well and pull him in for another kiss, silencing any doubt he has left.

"But why did you have me dancing with all the guys?" That has you confused.

"I wanted to make sure you had a good time. You like dancing." He knows that about you.

"Only with you from now on." You make clear.

Jean nods and mumbles an 'okay' as he kisses you.

"How'd all this happen, anyway?" You wonder how he got everyone involved.

"It was a long week without you. Let's enjoy the rest of the night." He'll explain later how he met Pieck and they got others involved. And just how long he's been wanting to do this.

As you both head into the center of the room, together this time, you spot those who assisted and are cheering you on. Sasha and Historia are also nearby with Niccolo and Ymir, rooting you on as well.

You'll ask them later how much they knew.

As you pass Pieck she reaches out and takes the flowers from Jean so you two can dance together. You'll have to thank her for her part in this.

The next song starts and you and Jean hold each other close.

"I love you." You whisper, confirming what you already knew.

"I love you." He says after a moment, wondering if he'll get used to you saying that.

"So, what do you have planned for Christmas?" You joke, both of you laughing as he tries not so elegantly to dip you.

"You'll have to wait and see."

Whatever it is, you look forward to it.

- “y/n here’s your-“ she’s cut off by the sound of you singing to the music blasting in your headphones as you dance away, too busy to notice your girlfriend in the doorway.

- she crosses her arms, leaning up against the doorway as a soft smile grows on her face, admiring you. you shriek, finally noticing her as your face gets hotter, the embarrassment heating you up like the sun. “WHEN DID YOU GET HERE-?!?” you exclaim, horrified. Your girlfriend just slightly giggles. “Go on, I’m watching”

- “i know I just told you to clean up your damn-“ she interrupts herself by her silence, trying to process what the hell you’re doing when you’re suppose to be picking up your dirty clothes that she’s reminded you to pick up 10+ times already.

- “AHH ANNIE!!” you scream, startled. Her face is filled with confusion, and a hint of anger from having to remind you again. “I- pick up your damn clothes you nasty.” She says, throwing them at you. “AAA IM SORRY” she hears as she leaves the room, a blush rising upon her face.

- you danced as you dusted away, grooving off to whatever song you were listening to while singing it at the top of your lungs. It wasn’t like anyone could hear you anyway, since pieck isn’t back yet, and you can party away right? Wrong.

- you turn around to see your girlfriend as you yank the earbuds out your ears, a glowing blush appearing in your face. “AAA PIECK WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?! I THOUGHT YOU GOT OFF AT 3??” she giggled before saying “i got off early today love,” she smiled, giving you a peck on the cheek as an apology for making you embarrassed.

- hange twisted the handle of her office, opening the door with one hand as a new stack of papers laid in the other. But one thing she didn’t expect to see is you going at it, dancing away in her office as if it’s a club. “Partying in my own office without me?!” They said, tsking as they set down their papers. “AA HANGE! I WAS TRYING TO CLEAN YOUR OFFICE TO SURPRISE YOU!!” You shrieked, disappointed.

- “it seems like you were dancing with mwah,” she said, coming up to you. Hange starts singing horribly on purpose as she aggressively twirls and spins you around, dancing with you. “MYYYYY DARrrLLiiNNNNNNN” hange continues singing as you both burst out laughing.

- “why is there no ass shaking” you hear hitch’s voice behind you, startling you. “HITCH OH MY GOD” you say. “It’s not dancing if there’s no ass shaking” she says dully.

- “YOU GOTTA SHAKE IT GORRLLL WHOOP WHOOOOPP!!” Hitch exclaims playfully, laughing and dancing with you. you both just start messing around club dancing with no needed explanation, that is until Marlo walks in.

- “HOLD ON NOW!” Sasha says, startling you. “GET INTO IT Y/N!!!” she exclaims making you burst out laughing out of humor and embarrassment. “You lowkey got some moves!!” she says.

- “but they not better than mine.”

- “OH HELL HOLD MY FOOD!!”
