😍 Till there were no more wolves in the West (dharmashark) - 71K, stucky, USAmer civil war/western setting - incredibly skillful job fitting canon events believably into this setting - absolutely loved it. Also adored the Logan cameo

😍 A Restless Truth (The Last Binding #2) (Freya Marske, author; Aysha Kala, narrator) - reread in prep for final book, having book 1 fresh in mind was great, lots of small details I had missed

🥰 A Power Unbound (The Last Binding #3) (Freya Marske, author; Josh Dylan, narrator) - Very satisfying conclusion to the series! Really loved seeing everyone together again and while I don't disagree with those that say it focused more on the plot than on Jack/Alan's relationship, this wasn't a negative for me. I wanted all the juicy goodness about systems of magic and magical houses. SO MUCH MAGIC HOUSE STUFF! (p sure there was a sideways little nod 'stately home of wiltshire'!)

fandom classic: I don't know if I've been around long enough to know what's classic, but I'm going with Two Pieces of the Gallows by @nigeltde-fic because it was one of the first spn fics I ever read.

underrated fave: And Now I'm Lost, too Late to Pray (...) by sardonicsmiley. this is a dean/bobby fic I found in someone's bookmarks last year and I have been thinking of it ever since. it somehow only has 30 kudos but it's so deep and sad and lovely.

< 1000 hits / < 100 kudos: Dusk by Cerberuss (@cowboyified) dean/jack and dean/sam. unthinkable that this has 60 kudos! it has 600 in my heart. a masterclass.

< 1000 words: like a prayer for which no words exist by @redmyeyes. perfect late series fic, does more in ~900 words than I've done with 10k.

new (to me) author: floundering like a man in fire by stripytights. gutting to the extreme, reads like a poem.

> 10 000 words: Like That by phoenixflight. this could also count as an underrated fave, because it was FORMATIVE in my early wincest reading and it's perfect.

Upon first glance, the park seems empty and devoid of any people whatsoever. Shouta walks through slowly, eyes open for anything out of place. It’s as he’s walking to the nearest bin that he sees movement out of the corner of his eye. There, laying on one of the benches deeper into the park, is a kid. A teenager, if the way they take up the whole bench is anything to go by. Shouta is a few feet away when the kid shifts, trying in vain to get their lanky form comfortable on the too-small bench, and the hood they have pulled over their head shifts, ever so slightly, revealing a shock of purple hair.

Or, Aizawa finds Shinsou sleeping in a park after getting locked out of his foster home. Aizawa takes issue with this.

Hellooooo, all of my favorite tropes! Soft and hopeful and good.

During the hellish first week of his final year of middle school, Hitoshi meets a green-haired boy who offers to buy him a coffee. He didn't think he'd gain a friend in the process.

Wonderful, heartwrenching AU where Izuku remains quirkless and befriends Shinsou as they both train for UA. REally lovely friendship, but strong trigger warnings for portrayal of a suicidal character and a suicide attempt. (everyone's okay, though)

“Lord Richard! Just the man I was hoping to see."

Richard turned. “Lord Corvin. To what do I owe the pleasure?” They had known each other their whole lives, moving in the same circles, and Richard had always disapproved intensely of the man.

Perching himself uninvited in the empty chair, Corvin said, "I wanted to inquire about your bookman."

“My bookman?” Richard raised his eyebrows. “Has that become a euphemism of which I am not aware?”

A fantastic idea for a crossover between these two KJ Charles crews! It’s hard to get anyone other than Silas across that social divide, but he’s a fun guest to the Murder. And then just perfectly executed, full of friendship and the canon relationships in lowkey appearance. The sequel is much more cracky - sex pollen orgy! - but also great if that’s your jam.

The last thing I actually intentionally listened to yesterday was P!atD's Viva Las Vengeance album because I'm seeing them tomorrow and I don't know any of those songs lollllll oops.

last show/series: I just binged She-Hulk when the season finale aired! Overall I rec, and I love Tatiana Maslany so much, but it was not the best marvel show by a long shot. Before that I watched season 2 of The Flight Attendant, which I rec a lot more tbh.

currently watching: I’m currently watching a reaction video to The Scorch Trials... I spend a lot of my time watching reaction videos to any movies or tv shows I enjoy.

favorite color: I love green and blue!! I like kind of desaturated calming colors.

sweet, spicy, or savory: I have a bit of a sweet tooth but mostly I go for salty snacks. HATE SPICY, I don't want my mouth to be in pain.

currently reading: I started Lost Boy the other day, the Peter Pan/Captain Hook retelling, but I haven't made much progress (I'm literally on like page 10). I got distracted by fic. I just read this original fic by phoenixflight, Men of Business, and it was very much up my alley (aka kinky).

what i'm working on: ..............reading books. I haven't worked on fic or art in a while, I've felt too exhausted and uncreative. :\ I want that to change soon. Hopefully.

currently obsessed with: KJ Charles books, perpetually. I've read a bunch, and I still have a few more left to read, but I already want to reread my favorites (again). (Favs being Society of Gentlemen, Will Darling Adventures, and Any Old Diamonds. HIGHLY REC!!!!!)
