I always thought the song was more about sex but I read the lyrics more thoroughly today and realized that they actually fit with Billy!!! So, thank you for this genius request and I'm super sorry it took me so long. I hope you enjoy this at least 💓

You sighed, Heather kept repeating herself. Ever since you started your… thing with Billy she's been going on and on about how he isn't good for you because he's an asshole and because he will leave you soon.

You guessed she had reasoning to think so; after all that's exactly what he wanted everyone to see and think. He wanted to show that he could have anyone, so why would he settle for only one person?

All that may have been true, but then you came along. Sure, you guessed it was a little cliché: the bad boy falling for someone like you. Someone like you, that wasn't popular, neither disliked but at the same time no one really knew you.

"Heather," you interrupt and she stops with her rant, eyes locking on you. "What's between him and me stays between just him and me. Stop telling me what to do, it's none of your business." You weren't even really friends, you both worked at the pool and your shifts overlapped. That ended with you talking, though it was usually more of a one-sided conversation for her.

You liked the peace and quiet this job would have usually brought. The kids coming here we're either intimidated by you or generally didn't care enough to cause trouble. At first your shifts were shared with Billy.

You caught his attention when he came here the first time to see you tell off some kid because he kept running along the edges of the pool. To him, it was hilarious. The boy had probably almost wet himself from fear and embarrassment, just for you to go back to your magazine with an annoyed sigh immediately after.

He'd tried flirting with you after, making his usual crude comments and flirty remarks. But you didn't give him the reaction he wanted. You either ignored him or only answered shortly or insulted him.

But even then, it wasn't long until you slept together the first time. Two months after seeing each other almost every day your resolve broke and you slept with him after closing the pool up together. It had been a long and tiring day and when he offered you gave in.

It was probably the best lay you've had, though you'd never tell him. After that you got reassigned with Heather which you thought would be the end of your and Billy's acquaintance.

He proved differently when he came every evening to pick you up in his car after your shifts.

It made you feel more than what you usually felt; instead of dreading his presence because of the annoying flirting you anticipated it.

The car rides were filled with his loud music and at least one near accident because of his speeding. Sometimes you talked but most of the time he let you nap as he drove you home, the way to your house ingrained into his memories.

You started thanking him with cheek kisses three weeks in and he made poor attempts to cover up the blush on his cheeks. It was cute and you were falling for it. Falling for him and all of his harsh persona.

"That's right, piss off," someone drawls from behind you and seconds later an arm wraps around your hips loosely. Heather pales and leaves quickly, making you sigh in relief.

"Thanks, she's been on my ass about us for days." Billy chuckles and flicks his cigarette away, mindful of your distaste concerning his habit. "Yeah? What's this 'us'?" There's a smirk on his face and you wrap your arms around his neck with a matching one. "I don't know. You tell me?"

He laughs breathily and rests his head against your shoulder putting well-placed kisses on your neck. You sigh and let your head fall back, enjoying his gentle teasing. This either meant he was in a good mood or he just wanted to sleep with you.

You guessed the second when he cups your cheek with his big hand and looks up. "Let me stay at yours tonight, babygirl." He huskily demands - though there's question in his eyes as well.

You pretend to dwell over it but nod ultimately and drop your hands to play with the hair at the base of his neck, the curls damp with some sweat. "You're lucky you're cute."

He laughs cheekily and winks, "I'll make it worth your time?" He smirks and you laugh, hitting his chest weakly and stepping back. "Help me close this up and I'll think about it."

When you're home later he's laying next to you, jeans discarded and leaving him in his underwear and muscle shirt.

There was a lollipop between his lips; courtesy of your strict rule against smoking whenever he was close to you. He had to busy himself otherwise, so this was your solution.

You were snoozing against his shoulder, hair pulled away from your face and neck because it was so unbearably hot. Your window was open and left some of the cooler night air in, causing a pleasant shiver when you wake up.

"You up, sleeping beauty?" He jokes and rubs his thumb over your hip bone, his arm once again around your waist.

Scoffing you yawn and stretch, your shirt riding up a little and revealing a sliver of your stomach. Alone that sight nearly made him feral, the influence you had on him was abnormal.

You lean your head against the wall behind you and sigh again, closing your eyes. "What's on your mind, pretty?" He asks, genuine concern hidden beneath his flirtatious tone.

You decide to leave your eyes closed and take his hand in yours, playing with it to distract yourself. "It's, uh… it's about whatever this," you lift your head and open your eyes gesturing between you and him with your other hand, "is. I- Jesus, you're gonna leave me for this." You chuckle sadly and move away a little, letting his hand fall back into his lap, rubbing both of yours up and down your face.

"Don't think anything is gonna make me leave you. I'm already wasting that much gas on you, as long as you haven't been fucking someone behind my back you won't get rid of me now that I have you, sweetheart." It was jokingly said but he was serious at the same time, hand back on your thigh.

"No, don't- you're making this really hard, y'know?" He grins lazily and cocks his head to the side, looking irresistibly cute with his eyes trained onto yours, waiting for you to explain.

"I…" you're trailing off, nervousness seeping off of you in waves. He calls your name and reaches to lift your head up with a hand on your chin, "I'm serious, just tell me. I promise I won't react badly."

He holds up a hand and stretches out his pinky, "What's that thing you taught me? The special promise thing?" He asks curiously and you chuckle weakly, "Pinky promise." He nods and wraps his pinky around yours, making you giggle.

"Alright, now tell me."

"Uhm, I like you. I know that's not why you're spending time with me and stuff, but I want more. I want to hold your hand and I want to go on actual dates. I want to-"

"-be a couple?" He finishes for you. You gulp and nod hesitantly. He sighs and silence stretches over you for at least a minute until he speaks up. "I'm really bad at this. You know my whole thing is not sticking with someone. I'm not good at commitment. But… I'm ready to try for you. I wouldn't have spent this much time on you if I wouldn't see myself taking you on dates, darling."

You don't really believe him so he assures you again, "Be mine. Be my girlfriend," he pulls you on top of his thighs and with a dreamy grin you lean in to kiss him, enjoying the closeness of your new found boyfriend.

"So, boyfriend. Wanna get your reward for helping me close up the pool?"

My Mairon is very femme, but due to being a smith he is a lot stronger physically than people give him credit for. His strength is just hidden by fancy robes, which oftentimes is a deliberate strategy to make himself appear more soft, frail and helpless. Many are shocked to discover that 1) there are indeed strong muscles underneath those silks and 2) he is fully capable of lifting Melkor in full armor.

🕊️ - Mairon

Aside from verses in which I explore the Mairon x Arien x Eönwë OT3, my Mairon has pretty much always disliked Eönwë. Post War of Wrath this evolves into vicious hatred (for obvious reasons). Eönwë is to this day completely oblivious to it and, when made aware of it, doesn't understand why things are that ugly on Mairon's part.

The truth is that Mairon was always annoyed by his hero persona and jealous of him being Manwë's special little guy because he didn't get to be Aulë's special little guy.

Gonna have to put this under a cut. TW for references to homophobia and non-con.

Everything about AP screams insecurities as is, and one of which is that he's always been attracted to men, even before finding himself in possession of an ungodly beautiful Maiarin prisoner.

Idk how I wanna hc the human societies and kingdoms in Middle-earth in terms of regarding gender and sexuality, but regardless of how Númenor thinks, AP always felt the need to prove that he's The Man and this is also part of the reason why he acts up as king and was so ruthless with Tar-Míriel. With her, it was definitely always about power and control, not even desire (or let alone love); and it's similar with Mairon. He would always act like he's above being charmed by him and publicly humiliate him, making a show out of pushing him around and calling him nasty things, but in private it would soon become obvious just how... interested he is.

And yes, he probably was dumb, greedy and arrogant enough to believe that he could beat Manwë in a fight (obligatory reminder that the bird man can oneshot the entire Balrog crew without much effort...)

Um, tricky. I'm in a phase of change atm and I'm really not sure who I am. How do I perceive myself? I'm also really good at listening to a horrible inner voice that tells me I'm a failure, an awful human being, ugly, unattractive, undeserving, unlovable, not good enough... And although I know all this is extreme and I'm trying to work out where this horrible cow of an inner voice comes from, she's really hard to shut out, epecially when I am tired and overwhelmed by things. I don't know. I hate this question. It should be easier but I'm really struggling to have any concept of who I am at the moment. I don't know who I am, what I'm doing, what I want to do, whether I'm right or wrong... and I just have to keep trying very hard to not show any of this when I'm in public!

ahaha like this question is any less unsettling! I think most people see me as bubbly and positive and happy and helpful, at least at work. I definitely have a work persona where I am Super On It at all times and constantly performing myself. No wonder I'm always so exhausted. But then I also think I have Resting Anxiety Face so IDK. My conductor at the end of tonight's rehearsal asked me if I was okay because I looked really worried and I was just like "... yes, I'm just tired and my face looks like this." But also I was trying to sing a top A flat pianissimo at 9.45pm so I defy anyone to look cheerful doing that.

I really do think I am incredibly unattractive due to the fact that I am 36 and not a single man has ever shown any attraction to me or complimented me. I feel invisible, physically, tbh. I want to be sexy and confident but how can I be? I just want a bit of validation from the male sex, a bit of admiration, literally anything to make me feel like I have a chance because I really do feel the absolute worst.

I don't know. I find this question uncomfortable too. I'm really not comfortable with myself at the moment. I'm dealing with too much stuff.

@mechahero - They're always a good friend and a wonderful presence. Cannot day enough good things about Lambda - past that, I've had fun talking with them more OOC and streaming with them. Really just a quality mun and muse all around, someone who everyone should check out.

@ama-tcra-su - They're definitely a more recent presence and even before we actually got to interacting and talking, I always felt there was a certain warmth and kindness about them and I'm glad to say that gut instinct has proven correct. I love hearing from them and hearing all of their cute headcanons with Ammy and Ryuji.

@bloodsplatteredmoon - I'm absolutely happy to see them back on the dash again, they're a sweet muse and they write Shinjiro with so much warmth and love - I'm so glad to see them back again and they're a Shinjiro I'd absolutely recommend following and giving a shot.

🦄 - The best thing that's happened to me in roleplay this year.

I don't typically like to pick any one thing because I don't want it to be the sort of 'peak' that defines the rest of my year. I'd say the best thing that's happened is I've felt that especially in this past year of 2023, I've gotten to meet and cross paths with so many amazing different muns from different fandoms, Persona and otherwise. I can honestly say I'm excited to see what's to come and hoping to meet more cool folks and get to know them.

I've said this as a joke multiple times, but the more I think on it, the more likely he seems as a possibility.

Akechi.

There are numerous reasons why I feel hesitant in wanting to write him, one of them is knowing that I most likely won't follow the most common fanon tropes. Me not following common fanon isn't new because *gestures at how I don't make it a secret that I hate common fanon*, but P5 is still very hot and Akechi remains as popular as the day he graced us with his divisive nature.

There are other aspects of his character I want to explore besides what fanon shrieks about. I also want to use this as a way for me to really see how I feel about him, because there are days where I have a more charitable opinion and days where I... don't.

There's also me having a bit of a short fuse when it comes to 'meow meowing' Akechi and provided it's not a joke, the minute I catch wind of someone doing it with my hypothetical Akechi, I feel like I'd just revoke Akechi writing privileges for that person.

I also just don't like shu..ake.

But if I write him I have all the excuses I want to think about my own delusional Akechi and Naoto are similar meta and write that equally as delusional AU where they swapped places. If I do ever bring him to my multi, I feel like I would be very selective on who I write him with.

🦄 the best thing that’s happened to me in roleplay this year

This isn't exactly RP, but RP did help me get over my complicated thoughts on P5.

I liked Royal when I first finished watching it in 2022. I felt that it had a lot of missed potential, but a solid entry into Persona.

Then I happened to be in a Place where people would not stop talking about 3rd semester. The constant angst turned me off from P5 because I didn't want to write with P5 muses if it was going to be just that all the time. During that time, I couldn't do anything but focus on the gripes I had with P5. Focusing on the negatives was not fun, to put it simply.

It wasn't until like December 2022 that I finally got a good grasp on my P5 AU and that wouldn't have been possible without talking to muns who wrote P5 muses. They helped me focus on the good things on P5 and remember why I liked those things. The new shiny post combined with the P5 interactions I had, I really felt like I was able to enjoy P5 again. While I'm slow as hell, I have more thoughts about this AU than I did during that time after group and I'm kinda of excited to put them down.

My point is, RP really is one of those places where it can turn me from being apprehensive about something and turn it into something I can enjoy, even though it isn't my favorite. And I just think that's neat.

🔑 my favorite type of threads

I mentioned this already, but I really do like horror! I feel like it's a good balance of things I'm good at and things I want to improve. I'd love to improve atmospheric descriptions, action sequences for those survival horror moments, etc. It also gives me a good opportunity to be introspective with Naoto, so that's always a plus.

But to add something new, I'm giddy whenever someone wants to write with my AUs, and I don't mean my P5 and eventual P3 AUs. I'm talking like my stupid swap AUs. I like thinking of swap AUs because they're just a fun thought exercise, but having someone that really wants to write with those is chef's kiss.

After the convo Mingi has discovered there was a play and he wasn’t invited. He decided he wants Juliet. Just to get attention from his family as one time they left him in parking lots. Which traumatised Mingi for life.

After lots of begging and emotional blackmailing. Mingi got his way.

We all thought the chaos is over after the week of peace but the morning before the play. Jaehyun suddenly texted he was sick
