I promised on this LM x Reader post things would get spicy soon, so here we are, coming so far from my first post! Just the first of probably many more smutty Lucifer posts, because we all know this man fucks and we all want a piece.

- This man legitimately loves everything about eating pussy. Himuro Tatsuya - Yōsen High School

We can see from the Anime that Himuro can be pretty gentlemanly to women (But not really when it comes to Kagami. I don't really like how rude he is with Kagami but I do like when he tries to defend Alex from Haizaki.)

He might be all calm on the outside with a soft smile on his face and you thought he is okay when there was another guy/girl coming up to you with an intention to court you.

But let's check what is inside of his head and you will know that he is indeed furious when that person waltzes up to you and thinks they could court you or take your attention away.

The first time, he would smile and politely tell the person to leave you alone because you are his boyfriend/girlfriend/partner and that person should respect that.

If the person still does not budge and keeps trying to get close to you. That's when things can be scary. I believe he is not a violent person but he could be very cunning and manipulative.

He would also indirectly insult the person without sounding like he is insulting the person. (In fact, I do believe he can pull 'Dog Whistle Manipulation' which means a gaslighting abuse technique where an abuser can cause suffering to another without others being aware of what is occurring.)

You can just see the shame of that person without you realizing what just happens to that person as the person is walking with their tail between their legs.

The sky gets darker as the snow starts to fall from the sky. The air is getting colder each minute as the temperature drops. When (Y/N) was young, the young feela used to love snow because the neighbourhood kids would play together with you, playing freeze tag or snowball wars and going home to drink hot chocolate on Christmas day.

However, you are not little anymore, and those loves of snow are replaced with despise. The older version of (Y/N) easily got sick and cold, and the next day you immediately got the flu from the horrible winter. This did not go unnoticed by your beloved boyfriend, who sometimes let you wear his scarves just so you would not be cold.

But today is different; the basketball training is getting really late, and you have to wait for your boyfriend, who is still training Basketball for the upcoming Winter Cup. You do hear the opponent in the winter cup will be even tougher, so it was understandable that your boyfriend was training hard.

As (Y/N) stood there, eyes fixed on the basketball court, (Y/N) couldn't help but be amazed by the sheer dedication and skill of Himuro Tatsuya. Every shot he took seemed like a work of art, a perfectly executed masterpiece. The way he controlled the ball, the precision with which he released it, and the accuracy with which it found its target were nothing short of mesmerizing.

Beads of sweat formed on (Y/N)'s forehead, and a faint flush crept across their/her/his cheeks, but (Y/N) paid no mind, entirely absorbed by the mastery of his shooting skills. The room's atmosphere seemed charged with energy, only when you finally tore your gaze away for a moment and you realize the warmth that had filled the space. It was getting very bothering

A friendly voice broke (Y/N)'s concentration. Turning to the source of the sound, (Y/N) was surprised to see one of Yosen's players. He was tall with unkempt brunette hair along with freckles adorned across the bridge of his nose. He's pretty cute in your opinion but you're dating Himuro Tatsuya. "Hey! Excuse me, pretty/handsome. It seems you're thirsty. Do you want some cold drink?" He had a welcoming smile and held out a cold refreshing drink.

(Y/N) was a little bit hesitant to accept the guy's drink. (Y/N) did not think anything bad about the guy since (Y/N) is aware that they are in the basketball gym and it feels rude to reject the guy's offer but they/she/he did not know who is this guy. Before you could take the bottle, you felt a sudden presence beside you.

It was Himuro Tatsuya, his usually warm smile taking on an oddly forced quality. It didn't take long for (Y/N) to sense a hint of jealousy beneath his polite exterior. He gently push (Y/N) behind him and stood in front of the guy. "Thank you for the kind gesture," he began, his voice steady, "but I believe you don't need to offer a drink to my boyfriend/girlfriend/partner," His words carried a gentle authority, making it clear that he appreciated the gesture but wanted to set a boundary.

The player couldn't help but sense the undercurrents of Himuro's subtle jealousy despite Himuro not being aggressive. is realization, combined with Himuro's polite yet firm words, left the Yosen player to respect his boundaries. "I am very sorry, Himuro-Senpai. I was just offering her/him/them a drink," with a nod and a slightly sheepish smile, the Yosen player decided to back away gracefully, allowing Himuro to be together with you.

Hanamiya Makoto - Kirisaki Daichi High School

Good luck to whoever made Hanamiya Jealous when they keep trying to make themselves close to you. I'm not joking, he is much worse than Himuro.

Unlike Himuro, his patience is not as thick as his and he would use all kinds of tactics against those who made him jealous while still playing the 'Innocent' card.

Whereas your dumb brain is still not aware that he was actually harassing the other person with just simply his words, railing against the person that made him jealous with a smile.

Listen to me, he definitely trying to guilt trip whoever made him jealous by asking them "Do you really hate me that much that you don't let me spend my time with my S/O? That's really mean of you," with a fake sad face.

If that's not working? Prepare another card he is going to use for that person who made him jealous. He could play the victim card after he made an insult that attacks the person's insecurity.

I do think he still has his violent tendencies but he can clearly hide it well when there are many people watching. For example, he would step on the person's foot on purpose but when the person tattletale. He would just not admit it or he would just say he doesn't mean it

So don't even think trying to make him jealous or he is going to make everyone hates you or people giving you those dirty stare even though you didn't do anything particularly wrong.

As (Y/N)'s sat in the classroom, (Y/N)'s focus was entirely on the teacher at the front of the room, eagerly explaining the Geometric which (Y/N) is already good with. (Y/N) would be scribbling notes furiously, trying to capture all of the important notes without missing important details and by doing this. It would make it much easier at the house to just read it and remember the given formulas.

The resounding chime of the school bell echoed through the hallways, signalling the long-awaited end of the day. Students quickly gathered their belongings, ready to leave the torturous day and go back to their beloved home sweet home, including the certain someone with (H/C) hair colour and (S/C) Skin colour.

Before I could leave the classroom, I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder. Turning around, I saw my teacher staring at me with hopeful eyes. "(L/N)-San, May I speak with you for a moment. I need your help," she spoke. "Of course, what is it. Sensei?" (Y/N) asks the old woman. "I would like you to help with your fellow student. Eikichi-san, he is struggling with Geometric and you are the only student who could help him. If you teach him, I would give you more scores," the old woman asks.

(Y/N) was a little bit hesitant as you turn around to see the student. The guy had partly dyed blonde hair and he has that vibe that writes 'trouble' all over him. Nevertheless, the teacher promised you a bonus point for your score. "I will try teaching him geometric for the upcoming test," You told the teacher. "Thank you so much, (Y/N). I knew I could count on you," she smiles.

(Y/N) was sitting across from Eikichi who is staring at her/him/them. His eyes would be looking at you from your chest and your face. Despite (Y/N) writing the notes, (Y/N) could feel him staring like a creep it sent a shiver down her/his/their spine. His attempts at flirting were blatant, and it made the whole situation rather uncomfortable. While (Y/N) was there to genuinely assist and teach, he seemed more interested in making offhand comments about my appearance and attempting to turn the lesson into an awkward exchange. "So, are you free today, cutie? We can go home and ignore all of this and we would have so much fun," he winks.

As the inappropriate comments from the guy continued, (Y/N)'s patience wore thin. They/her/he was on the verge of delivering a piece of their mind and stopping the guy from being creepy until I feel a presence behind me. When I turned around, there was Makoto Hanamiya

Hanamiya, with his signature cocky grin, couldn't resist the opportunity to put the overly flirtatious and creepy student in his place. "Ah, trying to charm someone who is taken, are we? You've got a knack for numbers, I see. Shame you're just not adding up in the 'respect for personal space' department," His words carried a mix of sarcasm and a cold jab. Indirectly calling him an idiot.

The student's face turned a shade of embarrassment, and you couldn't help but hold your own laughter with Hanamiya's remarks who are calling the guy idiot and creepy indirectly. The creepy student's face flushed with a mixture of embarrassment and anger at Makoto's sharp remark.

In a feeble attempt to save face, he mustered a nervous chuckle before unleashing a mocking retort. "SHUT THE HELL UP EYEBROWS! YOU'LL REGRET THIS!" The guy stood from his chair as he keeps pointing his finger at Hanamiya. With a huff and a flustered glare, the student gathered his belongings and stormed off, muttering under his breath. It was clear that he couldn't handle the witty banter and had been outmatched by Hanamiya's sharp tongue "Thanks for shooing that guy away," You sigh in relief. "...Sure, whatever. You owe me some chocolate bars...and I want the dark one. Not the normal milk one," The Kirisaki Daichi captain sat next to (Y/N) before putting his arm around (Y/N(.

Aomine Daiki - Touou High School

I'm not going to say sorry about what I am going to say but Aomine are much more obvious than them. He is also much more man-child than Himuro and Hanamiya.

Unlike Hanamiya and HImuro. Aomine is much more obvious when he is jealous when someone is taking his attention away but it depends on the person too.

Someone with pure intention that just wants to be your friend or cute animal? Aomine definitely gonna sulk and give you the silent treatment. If you ask him what makes him angry, he would say: "Why don't you go with that friends/pets of yours!" while pouting.

Someone with bad intentions or some kind of casanova wannabe that thinks they can get your attention? He's going to confront them by standing in front of them and giving them the scariest glare. "Leave my girlfriend/boyfriend you fucking creep!" Scaring them away.

If the person still does not leave you alone. He would not be afraid to use his hands to punch the daylight of the person just like what he did to Haizaki but worse

Once they left, he would just keep his hands on yours and not let anyone get close to you. If you ask about it, he would just gonna say: "I'm just protecting you from those assholes," he mutters.

Aomine is far away from the word subtle. He would make sure that everyone knows that you are his girlfriend/boyfriend by holding your hands the whole way when you two go home.

It was in the afternoon as (Y/N) and Momoi sat on the bleachers, their eyes fixed on the intense basketball game unfolding before them. It was an exhilarating match, as Aomine and Kagami, two titans of the court, faced off in a display of skill and determination. Their movements were swift, dribbling the ball with finesse, leaping through the air to score impossible shots. The atmosphere was charged with excitement, and Momoi and I couldn't help but cheer for both of them, appreciating the incredible talent on display.

Nodding, (Y/N) watch her leave before she pays attention to Aomine and Kagami competing against each other. Those players seemed to be giving it their all, determined to outdo each other. You couldn't help but be in awe of the raw power and skill they possessed

As (Y/N) engrossed in her/his/their own world, there was an unmistakable feeling of someone's presence beside (Y/N). A subtle shift in the atmosphere, a hint of another person's energy, caught your attention. (Y/N) turned their/her/his head slightly, curious who might it be. A mysterious figure wearing a baseball cap. concealed his features. The brim cast a shadow over his face, making it nearly impossible to make out any details.

The guy in a baseball cap demeanour was unsettling. The guy leaned in a little too close, his words laced with a tone that sent chills through my veins. He began to flirt, but it wasn't the playful, charming kind of flirtation. It was invasive, predatory, making me feel trapped and vulnerable. "Hey there, cutiepie. Do you want to see seven foot long? I'm sure you have never seen it. Especially as someone as attractive as you," He licks his lips.

Out of nowhere, a basketball came hurtling through the air, narrowly missing the guy with the baseball cap and landing with a thud beside (Y/N) and the creepy guy. The guy with the baseball cap and I jolted with surprise, their attention instantly drawn to the ball lying there. As they turned in the direction the ball had come from, their locked eyes on Aomine, who stood a few feet away, his expression a mix of hatred and anger in his eyes.

Aomine's voice cut through the unease like a blade. His glare intensified, and his words were laced with a deadly seriousness that sent a shiver down the spine of the creepy guy. "If you ever lay a finger on my partner again, I won't hesitate to break your face. This court is meant for the game, not for your twisted games," Aomine's words not only send a shiver to the stranger but also to (Y/N) too.

The creepy guy visibly gulped, "I-I'm sorry, man. I didn't mean any harm," he mumbled, his eyes darting between Aomine's stern face and the basketball lying nearby. He quickly realized he had crossed the line. Without waiting for a response, the stranger hastily turned on his heels, not daring to look back, and fled from the court, disappearing into the distance.

Aomine's protective instinct kicked in as he walked over to (Y/N), his concern evident in his eyes. He gently pulled (Y/N) into a reassuring hug, his strong arms offering a sense of security. "Hey, are you alright?" he asked softly. Looking up at Aomine, (Y/N) shook their head, grateful he was there to stop the guy from getting further, "I'm okay, Aomine. He didn't touch me." "Good, "If he ever tries anything again, don't hesitate to let me know. I'll make sure he regrets it," he promises.

This moment of turbulence, even if painful, it is for a reason, and you don't need to do anything about it. It will go away naturally. But, if there is something you can do to ease this process a little.. is moving on. Let the hurt go. Make amends with people around.

Pile two

You have energy implants all around your head and some parts of the upper area of your energy field. These implants are not coming from entities solely. But also people in your life. Be careful, you're being manipulated. People are whispering carefully in your ear, and you are taking the bait. And this is not just people and spirits, this is also the media. Right now, you are way too receptive to information and discerning a bit too little. You might overshare a lot as well, being more vulnerable than necessary. Your third eye is also a bit blocked, making it very difficult for you to see things, and put the pieces together of what your intuition is telling you. And your body knows the danger and state of vulnerability you're in, so you stay in hyper aware and alert to anything. If you feel jittery, jumpy or scared, that's why. Be very careful specifically of spiritual traditions that could be deceiving you. I see some of you doing some self care, reading a book, watching a movie, without guilt and without the weight of having attached your self worth to productivity or other people's approval. Astro forecast

Lunar eclipse in Taurus Oct 28th. Many other aspects going on. Scorpio and Taurus Stellium in effect.

Your resources vs other people's resources or with other people's resources is a theme. Watch for feeling greed or competition over resources. Vibe reminds me of "gluttony".

How much you eat and what you eat needs to be studied. Many of you are going through body changes. Either in weight, body type, taste bud shift, or just what your body can't deal with anymore. Some of you are frustrated because of the time it takes to commit to a better way of consuming food for your goals/needs.

Addictions in general are being brought up. Drugs, sex, food, exercise, self harm, chaotic bonds, isolation, spiritual/religious/addiction. Addictions can also be what you tend to abuse.

Cleanse. Wash up more. Do smoke cleanses more. Use a body spray for cleansing. Pray for cleansing. Go to therapy. Detox from substances. Do less with certain people. Drink more water. If you aren't going to use or repurpose an Item, donate it to someone, or ask someone who's in need, or donate it to charities. Throwing it out being the last option, but some items you don't have an option. Watch for hoarding. Dance the energy or items away over a bonfire (for what you can burn safely).

Speaking of item cleanse, some of you have this thing for going down memory lane of finding items. Moon in taurus is one of those "this item has sentimental value" placements. If you are feeling this vibe, I am talking to you.

If you are older, cleansing can be inheritance to your kids, nieces, or nephews. Scorpio energy is the placement for inheritance.

Feeling rebellious against the system over government resources and wealth imbalance, speak up.

Honestly, I'll never get over GrimmIchi (Bleach) I don't think lol. The nostalgia factor is unbeatable at this point.

Truss Me Up But Never Leave Me Hanging probably fits the bill best, much to my chagrin. It was meant to be a canon-verse Dreamling shibari fic, but *vague handwaving* I wound up getting in my head over whether I could write it to the level of accuracy/quality I feel it deserves

Setting the scene? aka "purple prose" and metaphors

Helpful Info. For Those Who Have Aries, Pisces, the 1st, or 12th Houses Prominent

TLDR: I'm an, "aggressive ho, playing hard to get", I cry + rage, and I suffer from chronic fatigue and high energy at the very same time.

Today is the day I woke up realizing the core of why I am so fucked up that I do get regularly misunderstood more than many others. Shadow work…

My Ascendant sign, as anaretic, is effectively Pisces in the 12th house, at the same time as it's Aries in the 1st House. Pisces, as the mutable water sign, is intellectually adaptable, yet changeable, and expresses as one of the more deeply emotional signs; often misunderstood as drama queens, when they genuinely feel deeply, long-held emotions. The primarily difficult part about being Pisces, is that we must learn to set and keep boundaries, amidst the instinct to save everyone, as we also instinctively allow people to energy vampirize us to the point of developing chronic illnesses. Pisces is the service to others sign; where on the other side of this axis, my Virgo stellium with Sun & Moon conjunct, more naturally balances service to self, with service for others.

In the 12th House, Pisces expresses as through a mix of pinpointed intuitive accuracy, and fighting past the fog and fatigue of illusions, so that they don't become delusions. This is part of why I maintain a couple of confidants who also do tarot, so they can help me check, before I make rash decisions. I'm also fighting a sugar addiction, as the 12th rules addictions. I'm lucky to also have Part of Fortune in the 12th to help a bit.

Speaking of rash decisions, many of us know that's typical of Aries. Aries is the cardinal fire sign; the action based warrior which is known for intensely projecting it's energy as it's placed. Change-focused, Aries in the 1st house expresses as the no-fear factor, and tends to be the most stubborn of the fire signs. This is a highly ego-based and aggressive tendency, yet in certain situations is also easily misunderstood by being perceived as aggressive, when coming from a place of authority; Aries rules the head. Aries Ascendant (because the Ascendant is always 1st house) is an Ascendant placement where ego and overall sense of self is strongly indicated, though not as strongly as Aries Sun in the 1st House.

Aries is ruled by Mars, and with my Mars (in Scorpio) in the 7th house of one on one relationships, men tend to instinctively misunderstand my interest in them as "let's just go", sexuality, as Mars rules the sexual instinct. This of course, does not excuse any of the many incidents in which I've been sexually harassed, and even briefly stalked by two men; all of those men are responsible for taking care of their own mental health. It does provide a twisted version of "logic", if you will. I feel sad that (at this time at least) I am unable to maintain close friendships with men, because of this. As I'm highly intuitive, I tend to strongly pick up on their sexual interest in me, and it's invasive; causing my need to emotionally pull away, which, even when I don't communicate to them what I'm sensing, essentially pushes them away.

So now I realize that I have 3 chart ruling planets, and not just 2. Ok, well I'm up for the challenge of "fighting" myself into deeper understanding of all this….

To make it more difficult, the elements of water and fire are highly incompatible; no wonder I haven't yet made a romance stick; I'm not yet compatible with myself.

But you can bet my Aries Ascendant I will be.

Neptune = fatigue in some way, no matter how He's expressed, while Mars expresses as high energy (fire signs always hold more electricity in their bodies by design). This push and pull of energies contributes to my chronic insomnia. It's one of the reasons I often have to get up to listen to music and dance, so that I can then sleep.

I won't give in to confusion and misery.

I will fully win myself, in the game of personal growth.

Man, last week... started off optimistic and ended up in the pits kinda.

We made plans for me to join a 15 month course to find fitting job(s) with the aim of going to said jobs and trying them out. Sounds good and is something i am interested in, but after friday all i've been thinking is that maybe it's too much too soon. I'm still thinking if i can manage 3 days of workshop/week instead of 2... so diving into something that can have 4-5x 6hr days/week is making me very anxious and already feeling bad if I end up not having the energy to do it. I think its the main thing that has dropped my mood bc I know that the chances of me getting a part-time job in any of the fields that interest me and are something i could be able to do physically, is pretty nonexistent. All of those fields have severe oversupply of potential workers against the amount available jobs, in the entire country. So the chances of getting employed as someone who doesn't have any substancial studies in the field, isn't able bodied or mentally okay... Lets just say it isnt exactly an encouraging thought. I just feel like no matter what I am entirely useless when it comes to any employment that i feel i could perhaps be able to do. If an able-bodied, neurotypical and socially capable person with a suitable degree can't get a job in those fields, what are my chances? lol. I dunno. Already feels like a failure if I muster up the courage to say that I feel like I've said OK to things that I'm not actually sure about. I'm sure they'll understand if I say i'd rather focus on getting back into 3 workshop days and trying to progress my rights for therapy for now. I don't know. I feel conflicted with my own thoughts. Part of me thinks I should give it a go even if I drop out - id at least be certain that it was too much. But I also know how heavily dropping out from anything hits me mentally, so i am genuinely afraid of seeing the bottom of the pit again. The psychologist at the current evaluation course did say she thinks taking things as slowly as needed is probably the best for me considering everything they've summed up abt me so far. I'll try to talk about it at least.

On a less depressing note, the results from the various psych/neuro tests were partly curious. My mathematical skills being extremely below average wasn't a surprise, lmao! But I found it curious that the one that was the highest above average was linguistic skills, followed by the less surprisingly above average spatial awareness that involved shapes, patterns and other stuff that i think any artistic person would excel at. Accuracy was great but speed was awful, lmao. Overall I scored pretty average on the cognitive side. Worth noting is that I am medicated now and I did take my adhd meds on that day as well, so that likely helped slightly with the accuracy and overall concentration. (a lot of the tests had a time limit) Interesting tests though, and I'm glad it gets written up into my files as well, because it's more proof to the fact that my autism is mostly affecting me on the social side of things. I would be really interested to take the same tests in a busy/noisy environment or with some sort of forced interrupts like someone asking you something entirely different suddenly and see just how much of a disaster that would be trying to get back into focusing on the test tasks then, lol. That's morely likely how things are after all if we think of these tests as a measure of how will you get by in the world of working a job, unless you really have a job where you get to work alone in a perfect environment for yourself. (man i love making art at home)

So this question is something I've pondered about for a while. This is not meant to attack any other readers.

I often wonder how much a reader or medium's personal views/bias affect a reading or interpretation. I've been in the fandom for a while and I want to say before at least 2021 there used to few tarot readers, who weren't too invested in Chris himself and would read on him occasionally and some had 50-80% accuracy. Of course free will is at play and things change with time and ones personal decisions. But I often feel that since 2021 there's been this uptick of people too,too,too much damn invested in Chris. This isn't to attack anyone though, hell I know I've been guilty of it as well(though I don't understand tarot card interpretation and my knowledge of astrology is at best rudimentary)

2021 also was when this very bizarre incident occurred over discord, wherein this frankly strange lady opened up a server for tarot readings on him, had some strange etsy reader come on who urged the members of the server to message her with some emojis and she said she will find out if anyone there is his FS, promptly found out the FS who got the moniker catrose because of the emojis said person used. In reality the person who set the server was frankly a weirdo who was from LSA, who was also shunned there for oversharing about her personal life and often times exaggerated her life and experiences. This lead many more bizarre in-fandom incidents(like the secret gf of Summer 2021 and people seeing reflections of a woman on his piano in of those piano videos he posted)

Now the FS argument always makes my head turn, partly because of the obsession with this unknown woman's EVERYTHING. It's funny how she's a different person in everyone's eyes. Different age, appearance, ethnicity and characteristics according to everyone different. I often wonder if personal bias subconsciously leaks into interpretations and visions. Sometimes I almost thinks it is so. Is that a thing that's possible to happen to a reader or medium or psychic? I genuinely have wondered this because as I said, I've been in the fandom for a while and this FS went from a just a nice lady who will be good for him to completely different people(sometimes a boss bitch business woman to some nice quiet lady who works in STEM or is a teacher to a quirky person who's creative like him but in a different field, some see her as this spicy,extroverted queen and some see her as a quiet but eccentric person who will always stay behind the scenes)

Actually it's not just FS but even about Chris himself, it's like he's a different person in different readings. Of course humans are multifaceted beings and we only see one part of him.

I just, I don't know who to really take seriously sometimes😅

Basically I feel like there's lack of unbiased readings like from back in the day. Talkingtarot was on point about the 20s clout chaser which I guess what Alba is. Tarottabloid is someone whose readings feel fairly unbiased. I enjoy your astrological interpretations even when the amount of knowledge is quite intense for a noob like me.

So yeah, sorry for the huge essay. I just needed to voice it out somewhere.

The answer is bias affects readers the same way it affects anyone in anything. Some don’t want to see bad messages, some can’t or won’t interpret extraneous information, some are straight up fake. I posted an entry on how to spot fakes for that reason. It’s the same motivation as these long essays anons or blogs write about their opinions on why they think the complete lack of evidence on something means x, y, or z. Only some think claiming to be a reader will give them more credibility. I agree there is a lot of focus on him right now and that will mean more readers will tap into his energy or try their hand at interpretation.

As far as his fs is concerned, I see no benefit to anyone being allowed to get personal information on her through divination. It does not appear to me to be in any way to her aid to do so and I believe that is why every reader who pops up every few weeks to read on her gets a face full of negative energy. They are sniffing around where they don’t belong.

When doing reads do you often/did you often refer back to Tarot guides or online resources for u derstanding card meanings, or did you go the route of finding your own meanings by meditating/studying over each card? I know most readers usually do both, but what have you found most helpful or accurate when reading for yourself and others?

Also!!! Do you cleanse your deck(s) between every reading? How?

these days i usually don't refer to any other resources much at all. but i have been reading RWS-based decks for more than 12 years and when i was too sick to be in school i was totally steeped in that because it was all i could bring myself to do, so those meanings are in my bones now. and yes also since i have spent so much time with them there is a lot of intuitive/personal meaning in there as well, same as with my astrology. it's a mix of the classic 'cookbook' and personal experience/knowing. non-RWS (eg thoth) based decks i am a little more likely to refer to things for but even that i usually prefer not to. the context tells me what i need to know.

so when you are just starting you might find the most accuracy by looking in books and online and such, but the more time you spend with the cards the more they really just tell you what you need to know. like any relationship, you have to build it over time.

i usually *don't* do any cleansing of decks between readings but i *do* have a couple decks that i am the only one who is allowed to use it!! and a few others that i only use for other people. to keep the energies separate i guess? i don't know, that's just what feels right to me. sometimes when things don't feel quite right i will do a little cleanse, blow on them or visualize something or set them in the window sill in moonlight for a night or two. i am a little bit irreverent about it, lol.

Some more thoughts on AI art because God knows we need more of that...

I want to preface this by saying that if you have or are currently making art by prompting AI I wish you the best in your creative endeavors but hope I can make you consider the value of learning any skill that requires patience and dedication.

Learning a skill is hard, perhaps one of the hardest things anyone can do but here's a little tip: You do not need to 'master' anything to enjoy doing it.

I'd consider myself a fairly skilled artist, I can have an idea for a painting and complete it with some accuracy and style at least. It's taken many years to come to this point yes, but I would not consider my journey as an artist to be anywhere near an end.

In fact, I look forward to a year from now when I look back on the work I'm creating these days and realize how far I've come. Sure, there's days when I'm frustrated with how I'm lacking skill in certain areas or how I wish I could paint the way [artist] does but I know in time I'll get there and I also know that my art and my ideas and stories I want to tell aren't going to be told by anyone else, not in my unique voice.

It took a long time to build that mindset but that's why I write think pieces like this, to try and prompt people to start thinking in healthier ways about art and creativity rather than obsessing over how far they still have to go or things like attention online.

Back to AI, I assume this isn't the case for everyone but it seems pretty obvious to me that for a lot of people the appeal of AI is the ability to skip the cue, to skip right to getting the same amount of attention (and profit though trust me there isn't as much profit in art as you think at least not for most of us) as artists they admire. A lot of people don't want to admit this but it's pretty goddamn obvious.

I won't lie, I see very little value in doing anything solely for profit, so maybe I can't appeal to those of you who do. But for those of you who think more like me and see value in art by itself I'd like to say there is also value in failing at art or enjoying making humble art. Lessons to be learned that can be applied everywhere in life.

I learned this lesson through taking up guitar a few years ago. I got so far that I could strum along to and sing most Beatles songs and then I was happy. Maybe I'll never apply myself to guitar the same way I have art but that's fine.

There is nothing wrong with that...I do not need to master guitar for it to teach me something valuable.

I'm not lazy or lacking in energy I'm just happy to have fun and play songs for myself and my friends and family. I admire people who do decide to master it but that's not a part of my story at this point in life and that's A-OK.

If that's what your journey with painting or drawing looks like try and see the value that has for you. Don't use your time trying to defend something that disregards human creativity as something of the past, something that is built on the backs of real artists by taking work they put their lives into and spitting out a lifeless version of it, something that has caused artists so much fear and doubt...

Instead, put that time into creating, really creating, learning from the ground up like I did with guitar. Teach yourself if you don't have time or money for lessons (I taught myself to paint!), reach out to artists for resources.

My ask box is always open if you want recommendations for resources or even tutorials on how I do things! LMK if you are an absolute beginner and I'll adjust for that.

I would never turn anyone away from rejoining the human art community no matter how staunchly they supported AI.

Hola a todos!!

I wanted to make my first post on here about the desired reality that I'm currently focused on. This being my Hogwarts dr. Not Harry Potter, Hogwarts. We'll get to that in a minute. Just a note before we go any further as well, I took huge chunks out of my script when re-writing it here because it's quite lengthy, and all you guys need is the gist. Without further ado here is...

Hogwarts

INTRO

“Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and, above all those who live without love,” - Albus Dumbledore. I am a 3rd year at Hogwarts School of Wizardry, and I have plans to become a dragon-keeper/dragonologist.

WHERE I ARRIVE

I am riding the Hogwarts express on my way to the Hogwarts School of Wizardry for my first day of year 3.

Our (Fred and I) train carriage smells distinctly like coffee and vanilla beans.

ABOUT ME

Things

- 15 years old

- Birthday = February 27th

- I am a full-blood.

- I am an optimistic extrovert.

Background

- Basically long story short my parents died in a house fire when I was 7 and I've been living with my adopted family ever since I was 9.

Appearance

- I don't have a face claim because I just script that I have my desired appearance and let my subconscious fill in the rest. But I guess some unique things that I've written down are:

Food doesn't affect my health or weight.

This just makes life so much easier. No second guessing that extra cookie or unnecessary guilt/shame for "unhealthy" cravings.

I am immune to any facial blemishes, acne, hyper pigmentation, large pores, blackheads, etc. My skin is flawless in every way and is always completely clear.

I'm a little bit of a perfectionist, guys, if you haven't already figured out, but only where it counts. I don't buy into the whole idea that you have to script in flaws for your dr to be "realistic" and meaningful. My motto is, "Even if the world is burning and crashing down around me, at least I'm hot."

(My nails) are indestructible, so they never break when I don't want them to.

Don't mind me, just taking out any minor inconvenience wherever I can. 🧍🏽‍♂️

Skills

- I can sing really well.

- I am fluent in 6 languages: English, Spanish, French, Korean, and Russian + ESL. I am immune to losing fluency in any of these languages.

- I can play chess well.

- My reading pace is 20 spp (seconds per page)

I completely just made that up btw, i don't think that spp is an actual thing. 💀

- I am an amazing artist. My style is so fun. I can easily draw anything and turn it into a masterpiece.

- I can play the piano really well. I am skilled at playing by ear.

You know essentially all of your default run of the mill dark academia associations. Piano playing, chess, speaking Russian, etc etc.

SCHOOL

Academia/status

So I'll just show the first few sentences of each bullet I created because the rest is just fluff.

I get 100%'s on all my tests, assignments, assessments, etc, without fail. I literally am incapable of getting less than perfection on everything. I always get homework and tests done fast with A++ accuracy. I am an excellent student. During a test, I could close my eyes and fill in random answers, and still get full marks on every question.

900 IQ groundbreaking big brain energy with this one everyone (being sarcastic obvi). Why should I work harder when I can...well damn not work at all right?

I am so popular. Everyone absolutely loves me. I am the main character. I live the most exciting teen dream filled life. My life is so interesting and fun, it's like a literal movie. My life is like that one part of the song Art Deco. I can live in the present easily and live each day moment to moment. Everything in my life is perfect. Everyday is an adventure.

I swear I have that song on loop in my head. Lana Del Rey is our lord and savior. 🙏 ❤️

As well as having a separate living area for each house, there is also a designated study space that is outside of the school for each house. The study space is open for students 24/7.

It's such bull that in the movies and books, they have a curfew. No one cares that I'm off doing my hot girl shit hitting them books at 12 am.

Don't worry! I always put my well being a priority and I already know how far I can push myself before it becomes uncomfortable. I have rested enough and fully to my liking. 😉 I sometimes feel like I don't need a rest as such but more like focusing on a different issue. That's why I usualy have multiple projects running. If you know, you did a mistake in the past and that actually not saying sorry is keeping you stuck, then it might be time to apologize. The apology is not only to say sorry to the other person and acknowledging your mistakes, it's also for you to close the matter for yourself. Not saying sorry when you intuitively know you should say it will keep you stuck in the past. Apology helps you release any possible regret and allow you to move on. Being able to apologize is actually an act of strength, not weakness.

Feeling insecure about appearance is really a pandemic but feeling happy in your own skin is important for your life. It might take a while to actually build that kind of confidence and self-esteem and it's likely to be a never-ending process as people and media do everything they can to actually make you feel bad about yourself but don't give them the satisfaction of victory. Hang out with people who make you feel good about yourself and encourage you to grow further and support you not with those who will always focus on your imperfections. If there are things that really bother you about your appearance, you are free to work on them but only if you do it for yourself, not to satisfy others.

Hi I have a small question, is it okay if I barely or even don't want to pray at all? Because to me personally it doesn't make that much sense to pray as a sign of worship when I could do devotional acts or give offerings instead, especially when those things feel more personal(?, that isn't exactly the correct word but I can't think of the correct word right now), I'm sorry if this is rude or anything like that!

First, let's take a look at antiquity and start with piety.

Historically, I'd say that when it comes to Hellenic Polytheism, piety could be summed up as 'religiously correct behaviour'.

This would include:

approaching the gods while wahsed - washing your hands (and sometimes face) with water (especially from a running source; even a tap would be good)

saying prayers

pouring libations to the gods

burning incense

caring for your shines - cleaning them

Prayer was significant to the Ancient Greek religion and had an important role in the customary worship of the Ancient Greeks.

Saying prayers could look fairly different and their formulas might also somewhat vary, just as the reason behind the prayer can also vary. There are countless examples of this in ancient texts - for example, one might pray to a certain god for a favour (e.g. Chryses - Iliad, 1.35-40) and another might pray for any other reason they may consider important to them. Hell, people even prayed to sort of 'make complaints' to the gods (e.g. Menealos - Iliad, 13.631).

I made a post (LINK) with some basic things about prayer where you can find one of the most common formulas (the 'favor'), but it's certainly not the only way to pray and not he only correct way to do it.

Prayer can very be simple, for example, when pouring libation, the prayer could be something as brief as "I pour this libation of wine (or smth else/wineless libation) for the deathless gods. Receive it kindly."

I've seen a few different ways scholars define prayer in the Ancient Greek religion but, basically a prayer is any act performed in religious context/setting where a person addresses a god.

Now, onto my own thoughts on the matter.

Prayer is important to me personally, since I try to be somewhat historically accurate in my practice, however I can't say I pray every day or that my prayers are always very solemn, lengthy and full of pretty mythological references and plenty of epithets! I don't always have time and energy for something like that, so I might just say any simple prayer I feel the need to say. I engage in devotional acts, too; in some cases also when I might not be able pray that day as some other way to honour the gods.

If for some particular reason someone can't pray, I wouldn't personally consider it an 'offence', especially if they venerate the gods in other ways. Perhaps not including the element of prayer in one's worship just might not be 100% historically accurate but your practice does not need to be 100% historically accurate and to be frank, we can't be fully historically accurate since when it comes to this religion, some things just aren't applicable nowadays, it might be impossible to fully reconstruct them or some things just might still be unknown to us, but that's besides the point. It's important to observe the history and the ancient traditions and to learn about the historical and cultural background of this religion, however ultimately it's up to you to decide what your practice will look like and whether or not you'd like to reconstruct certain things.

To conclude, prayer has been historically important for the worship of Theoi but if you don't focus on historical accuracy in your worship too much, can't/don't want to pray no god will be mad with you. If you do decide to incorporate prayer into your practice and perhaps pray once in a while, you can still make it super simple. But it's awesome if you still do other things to honour the gods and it's fine if those things feel more personal to you.
