Anyway, if I had a nickel for every time a series had six installments that gradually escalated in ridiculousness, only for the sixth installment to end with a universe reboot and the seventh installment to pick up in a new universe where alternate versions of the original characters now exist in the distant past, I'd have two nickels.
One of those series is JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The other is Riverdale

eddie doing something so ordinary and mundane like folding the laundry or putting plates away in the kitchen and buck just— he stops dead in his tracks and needs to take a second, swallowing thickly before he's closing the distance between them and pulling eddie into a soft, tender kiss.
eddie would pull away after a few seconds and smile teasingly and fondly at buck. "what was that for?"
and buck would just shrug and kiss him again and again, unable to stop the grin forming in his lips. "i'm just really lucky and i can't believe i get to have this." he whispers against the kiss.
because he really, genuinely, never thought he'd get this. the domesticity, the tenderness, the home. he thought he would never be enough for anyone.
but he is.
for eddie, buck is more than enough.

Annabeth arguing with Percy because she sees his potential, but Percy seeing it as judgement. Her blowing through to his fear and trying to understand why, but unable to let the guard down enough to show care.
Percy being suspicious of Annabeth and being hostile because of it. Percy, cutting straight through those walls and targeting Annabeth’s mother, not understanding her pride yet or what is driving her, but still somehow understanding it deeply at the same time.
Their arguments were done SO well this episode and the tension was done SO well this episode, because I understood both sides. I could see why they were fighting, and the lines of miscommunication, and Grover is just trying to hang on and hold tight.
The things they’re portraying in this show continues to absolutely blow me away.
