Headcanon about Sebastian and my mc, Sakurako

NOTE ･Sakurako is a Mary Sue-like character with an unrealistic personality. Reading is not recommended if you don't like Mary Sue-like OCs! ･It's very long. To be honest, all the descriptions of Sakurako are nothing more than a product of complacency for me. I am a little embarrassed to disclose my headcanon, which is filled with these particular settings and delusions...😳 ･Read from the top right in Japanese manga style. ･And again, please bear with my poor English🤣

Until admission to Hogwarts

In 1875, Sakurako was born into a former samurai family when the cherry trees (sakura) were in bloom. In Japan, the samurai society was abolished around 1868 and the samurai were forced to take the status of commoners. Sakurako's samurai-turned-commoner father became a successful trader and took young Sakurako and his family to Britain to get serious about the raw silk trade with Britain. (At the time, there was a thriving raw silk trade between the British and Japanese.)

Her father, who had a male-dominated mindset due to his birth in a samurai society, restricted her from academic opportunities that she did not need for a better marriage. Whenever she went out of the house, local children always made fun of her yellow skin. One day, after such a depressing life, with the sudden awakening of her magical powers, Sakurako received her Hogwarts acceptance letter and became a member of the Wizarding World, a place free of sexism and racism, where she had a fateful meeting with Sebastian and formed a warped love with him.

During the relationship quest with Sebastian

In my personal opinion, I consider Sebastian to be a very calculating character. Sebastian initially comes into contact with Sakurako as a means of breaking Anne's curse. Sakurako takes an early liking to the boy, Sebastian, who is very kind and helpful to her in her first time in the wizarding world, but it is around the 'In the shadow of the study' quest that Sebastian begins to take a liking to Sakurako. Having grown up watching her parents become arrogant new rich through their success in the trades, Sakurako has a desire to be a good person who is not conceited by her talents and luck. Impressed by the fact that the wizarding world is free from sexism and racism and that everyone treats her with openness, Sakurako is so excited that she takes on any request from anyone without refusal. Sakurako feels threatened by Sebastian's obsession with the relics after "In the shadow of the study", but she can't refuse Sebastian's request and continues to cooperate with him. Then came the tragedy of 'Avada Kedavra'.

After all is over, Sakurako realises how stupid she has been. She continued to help Sebastian (and the other students) out of kindness and goodwill, but as a result she realised that she was not a good person, but an arrogant monster with no sense of right and wrong. Sebastian's mistakes were all her fault, and she blamed herself from this moment until her death, and she would have lifelong thoughts of 'rewinding time and starting all over again'. Sakurako was deeply in love with Sebastian at this point, but out of remorse she tried to distance herself from him. However, Sebastian forcefully continued to contact Sakurako, confessed his fondness and they began dating.

About relationships

Elsewhere, Sakurako had established a friendship with Anne over a number of correspondence until tragedy struck, which was disrupted by Anne's disappearance after Solomon's death. In my headcanon, Sebastian heard the news of Anne's death in the seventh year, and Sakurako was also deeply saddened and even more remorseful when she heard of her death. Sakurako kept Anne's letters and the last letter she was unable to send to Anne for the rest of her life.

Subsequent relationship with Sebastian Since she and Sebastian have been seeing each other, Sakurako has been constantly worried that the love Sebastian has for her is not genuine love, but an obsession caused by the confusion and trauma of losing Anne. She was aware that their relationship was codependent, not healthy love, yet she spent her days loving Sebastian so much that she could not reject him. She dreads every day that one day Sebastian's love will disappear and he will instead resent her and saying 'Solomon's death was your fault'. When she is in the seventh year and thinking seriously about her future life, she finally decides to break up with Sebastian.

When Sebastian realised that Sakurako was acting strangely and that she wanted to break up with him, he asked her to marry him in The Great Hall at a crowded time, in front of many people watching, in a situation where she could not say 'no'. As per Sebastian's cunning intentions, Sakurako is unable to reject Sebastian and becomes engaged to him. However, even after her engagement, Sakurako's insecurities were not exhausted. Worried that she would never be happy even if she married him in an unhealthy codependent state, Sakurako finally came to her senses and, after secretly returning the engagement ring in Sebastian's bag after the graduation ceremony, disappeared without saying anything to him. Sakurako then went to Japan and spent her days learning about Japanese native magic, which she had long been interested in. However, after about a year, she is discovered by Sebastian. After Sebastian apologises for how selfish he had been, he asks Sakurako to marry him again. After a few days of deliberation and discussion with Sebastian, Sakurako accepts his engagement with a smile.

(This is an Illustration I drew for a previous Twitter post introducing the MC's image song) Afterwards, Sakurako returned to Britain and officially married Sebastian, giving birth to their first daughter the following year, and then to male and female twins the year after that.

About the death of Sakurako Sakurako became Unspeakable of the Department of Mysteries shortly after returning to Britain. https://harrypotter.fandom.com/wiki/Department_of_Mysteries#Early_history It is official canon in the Wizarding World that the Department of Mysteries conducted time travel experiments in the 1890s and then had a serious time accident in 1899. I have built on this canon to create a head canon in which Sakurako dies in 1899.

Ever since the tragedy of 1890, Sakurako had been harbouring a wish to 'go back in time and do it all over again so that Sebastian would not make the same mistakes'. Then, she is asked by the other Unspeakables to help them with a time travel experiment using her ancient magical powers. She understands that it is a dangerous experiment, but with a strong desire to redo the past, she accepts the request and takes part in the experiment.

Then one day in 1899, Sakurako was involved in a time accident with Madam Mintumble and her existence was lost. The Department of Mysteries determined that she had died in the chasm of time.

When Sebastian heard the news of his wife's death, he despaired violently, but had no time to grieve as he had the three young children Sakurako had left behind to look after. He vowed to raise them well on his own. After his wife's death, Sebastian, who had been active in the outside world as an Auror, moved inside work and, after the twins entered Hogwarts, became a Professor of Charm, watching over his precious children as they grew up.

The consequences for Sebastian and Sakurako I consider an even more specific headcanon for Sakurako: 'She survived only her soul by the power of an ancient magic, losing her memory and trapped in an endless loop of time'.

She loses her memory but somehow survives with only her soul and travels back in time to 1890 with only her soul for her obsessive wish to 'start all over again for Sebastian'. But because she has lost her memory, she ends up repeating the same mistakes and is unable to save Sebastian, despairing and wishing to 'start all over' again. Trapped in the Ouroboros circle of time and tormented by eternal guilt… is the headcanon about her. (I love novels and movies about time leaps and infinite loops… 😳) But I also have two possible outcomes when she is able to escape the endless loop. The first is route A. If Sakurako is able to time leap without losing her memories.

(I like Butterfly Effect soooooo much!!!!!!!!) During that fateful encounter with Sebastian at DADA on her first day of transfer, when he spoke to her after class, she rejected him and said terrible things to him. Sakurako thinks that that tragedy happens because she and Sebastian have become friends, so she tries to save him by making Sebastian hate her… and so the ending goes.

And Route B. If by the power of love she accidentally escapes from the infinite loop and travels back in time to a world 100 years later. (Never mind the details. The power of love is powerful in the Wizarding World, right?)

She is miraculously reunited with Sebastian, who has been surviving and waiting for her return for all of a hundred years… and that is the ending. Having fulfilled his purpose in life, Sebastian soon dies, and Sakurako's soul, weakened by multiple time slips, also ascends.

In any case, Sebastian and Sakurako do not end up completely happy… which is my preference. I love tragic love stories 😂 But it's nice to see these tragic couples having fun in extra episodes and so on!

Two posts in one day once again!

Now I already talked about this I think, but Gerald and Lee-Ann are two X series OCs that I really love to death. They’re siblings with a strong bond that get helps get them past some pretty crazy trials they have to get put through. (Here’s a picture of them by the way just in case you don’t know what they look like:

Gerald and Lee-Ann’s bond is partly inspired by Mario and Luigi actually, with how close they are with each other despite their differences, and how they cooperate and work together with each other too. So! Since it’s still October, usually people dress up for these occasions yeah?

Well I figured a good Halloween costume both the Reploid siblings can have is of the people that helped inspire me to make their bond! Mario and Luigi of course!

Of course….the two of them had to take some liberties when getting dressed up, only being in armor and all….nothing a few coats of paint can’t help with! Right? Although they should probably wait for it to dry off first before jumping around all over the place like they’re plumbers. And they technically aren’t cosplaying as the Mario brothers…they kinda have their own hats and style goin’ on a bit, but Gerario and Lee-annigi still have their style very inspired by them.

The drawing is of course iffy on some spots, I tried to put Gerald in Mario’s famous jumping pose, but it came out a bit off with Gerald’s left arm. I drew it WAY too long there. But even with the mistakes, I still think I knocked this out of the park. Solid stuff for Halloween I’d say. Glad I was able to get this charming piece out before October ended. I wanna try and get one more piece out but we’ll see if I can do it. Hope you guys liked my double feature today! 👌

Chapter 20 - Sudden Disappearance

Disappearances are all sudden. Before you know it someone you take at face value can just vanish from the face of the earth, nowhere to be found or seen. Though no one had drawn the conclusion right away. One day? Maybe two… Three at most. One could conclude that maybe she had not been feeling well. After all, the only thing Ann did was write inside the comfort of her home or do research which is writing related. So of course it would be nothing unusual if she one day just fell sick and needed some rest. Most people had thought nothing of it for a while. “ Let the girl have her break ” people said.

And even Eula was somewhat ready to follow that advice. However, when wanting to pay a visit, having finally made some space in her schedule, no one had opened the door. How did she figure out where the young author lived? Simple, by a simple question. And Ann had told her before to begin with during one of the conversations. So it was not hard to find. Usually she would be at home, that is what she had said. And yet, when knocking, no one opened. That was already odd. The door was locked too so maybe she just didn’t want to be disturbed? But for a long while like this… No, she couldn’t. So Eula knocked a few more times, even threatening to open the door by force… Until she has had enough and just kicked in the door full force! Yet once she did… It was empty. Everything was untouched, even the papers which were already prepared on the desk, as if she had not been there for a while.

Word has spread quickly since then and needless to say, it left everyone somewhat startled, terrified perhaps. After all, it was not all too common for someone to go missing. Surely people would have noticed something! Anything!? But no, it had slipped everyone’s radar. Did Ann run or was she apprehended? It was hard to say at this point yet most would assume the latter. Because if she ran, would she really leave her beloved writing tools behind? Given how overly passionate she was about her craft at any point, this was truly unlikely. Girl cannot sit still without a day of working her hands. Unless there was another reason, running off would be unlikely. Wouldn’t she have returned home first for that? But honestly, that was just speculation.

It was unsettling. Things like these happen out of nowhere, of course they do. And yet, even then, Eula could not shake the feeling off that this was part of something bigger. So she asked around, looked around whenever she could. Someone had to after all. To most it would just look like the usual patrol however. Well, in a sense it was. And yet, would it not be weird? A captain concerning herself with a random woman going missing? Maybe but she could still excuse it as ‘this being a knight’s duty’. Of course it was more than a duty for her and she did not do this because she was a knight, far from it. Yet she couldn’t let anyone else know that, at least not yet. That and she would sink into the ground if she revealed her actual reason.

But would she get any answers from the townsfolk? Of course not. Some gave her the silent treatment, others the side eye and some even said: “Don’t go running around so innocently! It was you, wasn’t it!? Of course it was! Scram unless you want to confess and tell us where you are hiding her!” It was one accusation after the other… Of course Eula would be blamed right away. And she was used to it. She even expected it to be completely honest. No one was of help so no information if anyone saw something or noticed something odd about Ann in the last few days. She was at a standstill.

And said standstill was driving her mad! Could no one cooperate for even one second!? Was this really the time for any of that!? It was so exhausting to hear it every single time, to go through it every single time! At this point she is only good at playing a guessing game, isn’t she!? And since days have passed time was running thinner and thinner at the end of the day. And so did her patience to be honest. The more time she loses, the riskier it became. Because what if something is happening!?

She had to take action somehow! If asking won’t help nor getting any useful intel overall, then she has to take matters into her own hands! The question is just where to start!? How would one start with no leads whatsoever!?

But on the other hand… Shouldn’t Eula know her family clan best? Because if she was really starting to consider it… Maybe there was some truth behind the townspeople’s words…

❝ Via (full name Olivia, but no one but her mother had ever called her that) had gone the first eleven years of her life not knowing she had brothers. In fact, she really hadn’t been aware that she’d had any family besides her mother - for as long as she’d been alive, it had always just been the two of them, her mother’s parents dead long before she’d gotten pregnant with her daughter and no other relatives to speak of.

It wasn’t until Via was six years old, coming home from kindergarten in tears because a group of other girls had pushed her on the playground and made fun of her for not having a daddy, that she even realized that her mother hadn’t just created her all on her own. That day, Anne Cooper explained to her daughter why they didn’t share the same last name, telling Via that her father was a very nice man who had had to go away before she was born and that Anne had given her daughter her father’s last name as a way of keeping her connected to him.

Five years later, after Anne was dead from a car accident, that same “very nice man” had shown up at the temporary foster home where Via was staying introducing himself as John Winchester and saying that he’d come to take his daughter home. It was then that Via finally realized that she wasn’t the only child John had; she met her brother Dean, who was good to her if a little bit awkward and gruff, and she at least knew of Sam, the one who’d left for college, even if she didn’t know that much about him because John ignored her whenever she tried to ask questions.

But Via knew her father hadn’t exactly collected her from the foster home in an entirely legal manner (even at eleven, she was smart enough to know her social worker would probably have talked to her about going with her father first) and not too long after being taken, she understood why: her last name belonged to a family of hunters, those who travelled around the country fighting vampires and spirits and other things that went bump in the night, and now that her mother was dead and he was the only family she had left, John wanted to bring her in and train her to be one of them.

And so he did. Over the next four years, Via’s education ceased to take place in a regular school and became strictly out of old folktales and John’s extensive notebook, or in the backyard with a weapon pointed at a row of cans. She learned all there was to know about every supernatural entity or ritual there was, she learned how to fire a hunting rifle at a target a hundred yards away without flinching, she learned how to kick down a door and take down a werewolf with nothing but her bare hands, all the while forming a jagged bond with Dean and feeling her resentment for her father, the man who had stolen her away to be a weapon and didn’t even seem to remember anything about her mother, fester and grow.

But it’s been four years since Via first met her father and one of her brothers - four years of training to be a solider and screaming into her pillows in the dead of night when the pain inside of her grew too strong - and now John has gone missing while off on a hunt. Taking off with Dean in his beloved Impala, Via finally has a chance to meet Sam, the brother she barely knows anything about. Together, the three of them set out on a mission to find their father - a mission Via almost hopes they don’t complete - while helping out and taking down what spooky threats they find along the way.

But if Via thought her life was weird and painful and awful before, she doesn’t have a single idea of how much darker it’s about to get. ❞

Ok ok I need to note this down because deciding to starting to read this story gave me confirmation to go through with this plan I had for Ann in Enstars (my OC/ S/I - Whatever you prefer seeing them as, Idc... They are a character at the end of the day). Spoilers below cut for my long fic featuring Hokuto I guess? It kinda is but generalized because I plan for this on all of their paths. If you even care... If not, read on!

So… I just read parts of ‘Action! Fist Of Idol Togenkyo’ and an interesting bit came to my attention revolving around ‘a movie agency started by ES as well as being under its management’. This gives me a bit more confidence to go along with the plan I had for Ann regarding their ‘ending’ (well, not necessarily ending but some important plot bit for some long fics… I admit, this can be variations depending on the ‘route’ I write for but the general idea will always be the same. In fact, I planned to explore this in the Hokkann long fic already and include it properly as well as a second Izuann long fic (yes, that is already in the works). Some would get fics maybe revolving around that, maybe). So basically Ann would always get roped up somehow to write a script and direct something, latter being with assistance from those more experienced than them (it is usually Wataru giving Ann said guidance… I need to emphasize their relationship a bit more. But depending on the path it is not always Wataru). This person sees the potential they have and encourages them to keep going, even offering for them to go to a new established university which cooperates with ES, focusing on teaching upcoming writers, directors and actors. Or it is a branch at least offered at this university (Film Studies do exist after all). So they would interrupt their current studies and take the entrance exam for said university after conferring with their parents about it. It is mainly because they would have to stay abroad which was not originally planned. While at first skeptical, at least Ann’s Mom, the parents do accept Ann’s request and they resign from their current university. They use the time afterwards to prepare for the entrance exam at that university… Which means intense Japanese studying as well as studying a lot of theory. Regardless, they stay in Japan and it is their first step into the entertainment industry as a writer, something they have dreamed of.

It could also be why Karl allowed Ann to go abroad and managed to get them a secured place at ES… Because he knew this opportunity for his kid existed due to these several connections (who knows… Maybe he put something into motion (not outright mentioning it but maybe throwing it in as a possibility with someone (secret ties to the Tenshouin family or somewhere in RhyLin and/or CosPro!?). Who this someone is… I dunno yet) and it was not all a pure coincidence. Also it is only spitballing for Karl’s role in this, nothing concrete)

I will probably add this now to Ann’s in–universe lore for Enstars. I feel more confident about this idea too since this has been established.

“Oh come on! I'm not asking for that much!” Dice mentioned while pouting. He could feel it and honestly did so without shame. Was he hoping for something? Hell yes he was! After all, he wanted to borrow some money! But the answer was ‘no’, like always. And it was driving him nuts at this point. Every single time. “I'll pay ya back double!”

“When my hair's turning gray?” Ann would counter, their expression being unbelievably deadpan. They were standing right in front of him, arms crossed. Honestly, he was at a loss here. He tried several times, several methods – From asking nicely to begging. Yet they would not cooperate. Great help they were sometimes… So the pout was his last resort. Ah no, wait. It ain't like that. Dice just couldn't hide it anymore. He was kind of fed up here, unable to take it. He wasn't asking for too much, was he? Nah, no way!

“Oh shush! I don't take that long.” He responded. “Just think about it. If I hit big, you get double of what I'd owe ya! In fa–”

“Not going to happen. I'm not funding your gambling addiction.”

“It ain't an addiction!” Oh god he even felt one of his cheeks puffing up here. Or almost. “Just give it a shot! C'mon already!”

He could only spot them rolling their eyes. Yeah, they were not going to give in yet today even though he felt stubborn enough to keep going. He just had to try harder! Ann's gonna crack! They just had to! They could crack if Dice pushed it! Besides, they had to have some faith in him too, right!?

And yet, it was only silence on their end as their gaze was scanning him. Up and down, painfully slowly before sighing. They then stepped closer without further warning, lifting themself up a little to try coming face to face with him.

“Y'know Dice…” They began somewhat softly, at least softer than usual. It had him all ears, hoping for a moment. Maybe he had just been preoccupied with the thought of finally hitting the slot machines that he considered no other option at this rate. At least for that moment he was oblivious, so much so that he didn't even flinch when they stepped closer. So he had not noticed that they got even closer. And closer. And closer. Until–

A sudden cut off, a quick peck on the lips. It was short, very short, yet intense. At least intense enough for him to calm his expression because it had been so sudden. Even after they had pulled away and were looking at him.

He was speechless, only being able to look at them, his cheeks having started to burn up by then. The words were stuck in his throat, he could not get them out. So all he did was stare in disbelief while at the same time being at the brink of smiling. He just didn't know what to think of this.

As for Ann… He saw them chuckling soon enough, a teasing smile gracing their lips. All while they looked up at him, unable to hide it. Were they sorry? Not even close.

“That's better. A pout doesn't suit you. At all~”
