okay, so final thoughts:

it was great, I loved it, I enjoyed it, so much of it was just perfect, the casting, the chemistry, the development of their relationship - amazing

obvi they had to cut a lot bc limited time etc but I'm still bitter about June and the cornetto scene lol - I saw people say that it should've been a limited series, and I lowkey agree (plus the emails! obvi it's a different medium, and there were a few, but with how big impact they had on the story at the end, a series could devote more time to them fr)

I also saw some people say that the pacing felt rushed but i didn't feel that tbh, it was great

overall, immediate impression: fucking loved it, I cried, I laughed, it kept my attention the entire time (which is difficult lately lol) and now I really wanna reread the book even more haha

it was a fantastic queer romcom, I still wanna cry over it - there were quite a few changes to the book, which always kinda sucks, but as someone usually lowkey critical of adaptations bc I can never get over the changes lol, this one won me over pretty early on, it was just such a great watch, definitely gonna rewatch at some point - maybe after I finally reread the book 😂

Soooo I went to my first lgbtq+ bar! Which yay and not yay.

Pro:

Saw soooo many lgbt+ people.

Was with friends so wasn’t alone.

Quiet ish aka easy to talk with my friend.

No hate or fights or anything like that happened.

Rainbow flag is always pretty to see especially in person.

Free water lol I don’t drink so that was nice.

Cons:

I didn’t talk to anyone new.

I didn’t dance.

I just sat the whole time and yes had fun talking to my friend but still hate I didn’t actually talk to anyone new.

And more but lastly .. at the end of the night on the way out my one friend (went with two) she got drunk and as we were leaving she stopped one person with this Skelton mask on. This how convo went …

Friend: “This is — .” (— my name but don’t want to give it out on social media sorry.)

Skelton Mask: “Hi. Nice to meet you.” *Shakes my hand* Pause aka my cue to say something but nope so they speak again. “Cute mask.”

Me: Stupid feet walk away after our hands dropped and I followed my other not drunk friend . Ugh whyyyy so in conclusion bucket list check ! Went to lgbt+ bar. But whyyy am I the way I am. Ugh it’s a love /hate relationship with being introvert. That’s another post. But yeah thought I document this lol . If you read this far sorry you had to hear me ramble about someone who won’t remember me, how I’ll always be awkward, and small part of me will always think about the what if’s. so that was the mlp g5 movie! i loved it a lot more than i thought i would and it wasn’t kiddie like g3. it was a lot like g4! the connection between that and g5 is awesome! the characters were fun and the story was really interesting despite it being a typical hero’s journey. it reminded me so much of disney! i can’t wait to see what adventure sunny and her friends have in store! :D

Star Wars: Timestamps and Thoughts; The Empire Strikes Back

Salutations to all. Welcome back to my blog thing? Anyways today is the one and only The Empire Strikes Back which I think may be the most iconic Star Wars movie. But, don’t quote me on that. I’m only saying that as someone who has heard about Star Wars movies from the outside and honestly out of all the movies The Empire Strikes Back is the one movie I’ve always heard about; name-wise. I don’t think I know any spoilers about this movie, so we’ll see. I’m new to this and I don’t know what I’m doing so please have mercy and help a sister out, thanks. I have some idea based on what the movie is about based on the name but I’ll just take what Disney Plus tells me. I honestly have nothing to say. Should I start writing predictions before writing the timestamps and writing my reaction if I’m right or wrong based on the last movie I watched. Does that make sense? I can’t think of any other way to word it differently but if it makes sense then okay, let’s continue. This isn’t a prediction but um is this the movie where Luke finds about his parentage? Or is it a bit too early? Am I too early? Oh well. While adding timestamps I thought it would be a cool idea to add a “Favorite Scene” section under my “Final Thoughts” sections, I hope y’all like it.

Final Thoughts? Wow. No yeah, I totally understand why Empire Strikes Back is a loved by all. It was amazing. I understand why it’s so talked about. This movie is beautiful; Leia/Han romance, 3PO and R2 banter, the good action. The soundtrack-THE SOUNDTRACK is SPECTACULAR and I would often fins myself rewinding scenes just to listen to the music. The visuals were so striking and appealing and it really showed during the showdown between luke and vader. 

Favorite Scene? Luke meeting Yoda and not knowing that Yoda was Yoda and every scene that included the Imperial March in the background.

Yes!! - The way Scorpia said "Catra thought my singing was annoying" honey - That clone was SO annoying stfu about Prime being omniscient and omnipresent and shit like ugH idC - Bow and Adora are the BROTP - Scorpia stinging Adora to keep her safe - and that's on friendship - The way Prime INSTANTLY called Catra out "Adora means something to you" listen I hate the gay but damn he's smart.
