I recently read the whole pjo series (and the Magnus Chase books) in less then a month and in the same month logged well over 100 hours in Hades so I felt obligated to draw my favorite sons of Hades and their bfs

Ended up using this more as a new art style test but I'm still decently happy with them (Than and Zag are kinda in a modern au because I can't for the life of me draw their cannon outfits)

Zagreus to Bianca, Nico and Hazel in that "siblings with a huge age-gap" style.

As in: Zagreus letting two-year-old Nico sit on his shoulders while five-year-old Bianca is dangling from his biceps. People would tell him "Your daughter is so cute!" when he and Hazel take Cerberus out for a walk together. He's the one tucking the kids in. When they do the challenge Nico marches to Zagreus's spread arms instead of Hades. Persephone tells Bianca no but Zagreus says yes so it's a yes. He's the kids' enabler.

Nico referring to his mom as "Mama" implies he most likely at least used to refer to Hades as "Papa" and i 100% headcanon he still does but mostly in the manner of him having the entire Underworld wrapped around his finger for being the baby of the family

Bianca: Summoning armies of dead people to try and stop him.

Zagreus: I don't think that'll be effective. He's the one who killed them in the first place

his godly children are zagreus (god of rebirth), melinoë (goddess of ghosts) and makaria (goddess of blessed death)

in percy jackson we have;

hazel levesque - died and was reborn

nico di angelo - self-proclaimed Ghost King

and bianca di angelo - who died in the first (and one of the only) books we saw her in

Some fun myth facts that I'm sure you can use for angst in some way.

Dionysus is the reborn god Zagreus. Zagreus was killed by titans on Heras orders for two reason.

1. Zagreus is the son of Persephone and Zeus

2. Zeus loved Zagreus so much that he named him the heir to Olympus.

Zagreus heart is saved and is given to Dionysus mom who eats it and then becomes pregnant with Dionysus.

This then implies that Dionysus could arguably be the heir to Olympus thrown which gives so much good potential for Nico to be fucked with because he's Dionysus favorite.

It's all family drama now isn't it?

No wonder why Dionysus indulges Nico so much lolol they're basically step-brothers/ cousins/ idk this incest fucks me up. Also? Forget Nico. This makes Dionysus/Zagreus a whole pot of angst like whatthehell
