He has a scar on his hind quarters from soap biting him when he was transformed one full moon. He ended up bucking him and his hoof scratched soaps eye causing the scar

On full moons he has to be locked up and chained to the floor before he transforms to his full werewolf form

He can transform into a wolf (like twilight lol) on command but doesnt do it much unless he's on a mission

He can also transform random parts of his body into wolf form

One time he got super excited and a wagging tail appeared on him

He imprinted on ghost the first time he met him

He does the ear scratch thing with his hands

Definitely does the circle thing before he lies down

He remembers things when he transforms on command but during full moons he has no recollection of what happens

Hes got super strenth and so when the full moon happens he tends to keep watch on soap in the shadows incase he escapes

If soap and ghost are on a mission and they need to hunt they will share the body. Ghost will drink the victims blood and soap will devour the rest

I feel like hed be some sort of elf maybe a wood elf

Hed be able to control all nature and speak to animals

Which comes in handy when soap is transformed and needs to communicate to him

He has amazing eyesight and takes that to advantage when he's sniping, needs to scope out the place or do undercover work

He also has really good hearing which is a blessing and a curse (especially when soap goes into a rut 👀)

Hes got super strenth but not as good as ghost and price but stronger than your average person

Tf2 fans, how are we feeling about mythical creature aus. Personally i LOVE them and i have my own little artworks and ideas and i just adore them AUGHH,, i love being cringe,,, ramble/art below the cut

Backstory for this pic is Scout heard that Sniper's double his size and tried to prove he's tough enough to get him off the ground, which he somehow managed.

Ive got my own assigned creatures to all of the mercs like scout being a shark merman, soldier being a minotaur, spy being a betta fish merman, etc. etc. I might post about em more soon if anyone's even interested in this, but for now i'll list them in the tags :-)

Ive set up this whole backstory about how they're all together too,, the admin is just this crazy rich gorgon lady and, in exchange for providing them protection and money, gives em specialized work. She essentially pays off the humans to ignore the workforce she's collected/the rather strange jobs they do,,

The main crew pretty much just does the same old merc work from the comics. They arent necessarily "special" despite everything i just told you. Yes, theyre creatures of myth, but there's more than enough beasts on the administrator's force to take care of those other odd jobs you might expect a mythical creature to handle. They're the same old team but mythified i suppose

Tentaspy and vampire medic are pretty common examples of this type of media and i love em both to death, but i made different versions of them for this trope. i appreciate being able to make this weird, fun, cringy artwork for myself and i hope if you've read this far you like this type of stuff too

HI CALLLL <3 unfortunately you are the person who made The AUs with me so the concept isn’t necessarily novel but at least I have New Words to show you!

For context, this is from Cal’s (and mine (and everyone else in the server (but mostly Cal’s))) mythical creatures au! Hermie is a siren (bird flavored)/phoenix and they have so much fun dying over and over and over again and everyone else has so much fun witnessing Hermie’s death over and over and over again!

Warning for some light description of injuries under the cut!

Hermie pushes off the ground and takes flight. It’s not long before they reach the canopy, and they pull their wings in while kicking out their talons to grip the branches above them. They tighten their grasp and tug with one foot while holding it in place with the other, but even as the wood groans, it shows no sign of yielding.

With the help of their wings, they bend upwards to grab the branches in their hands as well. It doesn’t prove any more effective, but they weren’t exactly expecting it to. They can’t break the branches outright, but they might be able to cut through them.

The bark gives way beneath their claws, and sticky-sweet scented sap flows from the wounds left by their claws. The color is dark and opaque, unfamiliar to Hermie, but that’s the least of their concerns. Riding the high of this small success, Hermie doubles down, clawing desperately at the branches and leaving smears of sap and blood behind. Splinters and thorns dig into the soft scales along their palm, but the pain does little to slow them.

They were eager to leave the forest before, but now they’re desperate. They need out. They need to see the sky. They need proof that a world still exists outside of this forest.

It's a wip & mostly doodles & headcanons BUT here's The Lore

Vio is a student in an academy that trains them to hunt monsters, he's At Their Limit because of Issues he sorta caused (long story short, he may be responsible to breaking a strict rule & now he's given an ultimatum like a task that's difficult to achieve but if he does it he's accepted back) the task? Finding Zelda (former classmate & friend who disappeared, if he manages to find her & rescue her then maybe he will be given a second chance)

Blue is A Mermaid who separated from his school & has been swimming around trying to figure out how to find them again

So they accidentally find each other. It was Blue's idea they team up (temporarily) since they're both searching for loved ones (Also the reality is Blue's type needs Community so he clinged to the first person he got to see & didn't want to separate)

Now all of that in context, here is the thing. Blue doesn't know Vio's profession at all, he doesn't know he is training to hunt creatures. Vio would Like To Keep It That Way and isn't planning on letting him know at all :)

Bonus: Vio & Shadow are humans here & are best friends, Red is a fairy / mage who lives with Ciela Navi Tatl and Tael, Green & his older sister (botw Zelda) are both ghosts with only 1 sibling (botw link) as a survivor, Vaati is also there but I'm still not sure what he is gonna be here!!

The creaking and swaying of the ship was enough to make someone sick, but Ezra and Sabine had been out at sea long enough that it barely fazed them. The storm wasn’t especially bad, but it was long, and they’d gathered up all their blankets and made a bit of a nest in one dry, cozy corner of the hold, on top of one of the piles of hay they kept for Jet. Just to… get away for a while. Only the two of them, without all the responsibilities and everything.

The lantern swung from a hook above them, and an abandoned deck of cards was tossed to one side. The warm smell of horses—well, one horse, really—hung in the air, and amid the cracks of thunder and creaks of the boat, the pair could occasionally hear Jet’s uneasy nickers. At the moment, they were reading.

It had all started when Sabine was trying to recall a story from when she first joined the crew. But she couldn’t get the details right, so she went to grab her journal, then decided to grab all three of them, then came back and Ezra got the idea to go get his old notebook, and somehow they ended up with each other’s journals.

Years ago, that would have been unthinkable. Ridiculous. But now, they had become… something more, than what they had been, and with that came an easiness over things like this. And this really was a fun way to unwind after a long day.

“Oh, tides,” Ezra snickered, covering his mouth with a hand. “This one—Pg. 36. On Sirens And Merfolk, Possible Courting Rituals Of: I have no proof, but there’s definitely something going on with Kanan and Hera. She keeps preening and today she gave him a fish. Just handed it to him. Like it was a cup or a pencil. SHE HANDED HIM A LIVE FISH. And then he ate it. Why do I have to be the only normal human on this ship?”

Sabine laughed to herself as she puzzled over his early pages of sloppy handwriting. “Ah, it’s a tale as old as time.”

Silence came again, comfortable silence, as they sat side-by-side, leaning against each other.

“Ooh! Sabine!”

Ezra startled so hard he almost shoved her over.

“What?”

“Here’s one about me! Pg. 39. On Merfolk, The Parental Instincts Of: Kanan adopted the mer-boy who almost got us killed, and honestly? That kid can be enough to make me consider rejoining the Amazons. Ezra is a sweet boy most of the time, but right now I am this close to hitting him over the head with a book.”
