"Are you comfortable?" You asked softly, tucking Christopher further in.

"Yes." He whispered, holding his hands above the space themed blankets. It was a rough day for the boy. Having to call help on your own father is never easy. Especially when you aren't used to ever seeing him like that. You were the first he called. Broken walls and messed up furniture greeted you when you entered Eddie's room. A place that you once knew as tidy and neat was now gone. Your own broken boyfriend sitting on the ground. Not being able to say a word.

It was all the anger he builded up. The news about his old colleagues, taking temporary leave of the 118, having to be put behind a desk. You didn't necessarily blame him for his outburst, you just wished he talked to you sooner.

"Goodnight Chris." You smiled, placing the children's book further on his bedside table. "Try getting some sleep."

It wasn't the first time you stayed the night. So Christopher didn't raise any questions with why you tucked him in and not Eddie. You were a big part in his life now, and Chris really only saw that as the most positive thing ever. It was different then with Anna. He saw you more as a parent, someone who truly loves Eddie and wants to share their future with him. This was more real.

You said your final goodnights, answering some more questions from Chris before going to find Eddie. He was sitting on the couch, deep in thought, one hand was messily placed in his hair as the other holded the cup of coffee you made him.

You walked further in the leaving room, silenty sitting down next to him. He sat up straight, rubbing his eyes, trying his best to wipe away the wet stains on his cheecks.

"Is Chris alright?" He asked after a few minutes of comfortable silence. You rubbed your hand on his back in small circular motions, slowing moving up to play with his hair.

"He's worried about you." You answered honestly.

"He shouldn't have seen that. He shouldn't had to be the on to call you."

"Hey Eddie. Chris will survive." You reassured him. "But I think it still would be best to talk to him tomorrow. He got quite a scare."

"I know." His eyes shifted from yours. Like he was ashamed of you seeing him like this. "I'm sorry."

"You need help, Eddie. This can't go on. The panic attacks, the outbursts, it's all eating you away." Your hands cupped his cheeks. "Please don't shut me out. Not this time. Please Eddie, allow me to help you."

"You've got nothing to be sorry about." You took his chin, so his eyes remained on yours. Tears danced in his eyes. Your heart broke seeing him like this. So fragile. So broken.

"Please."

happiest birthdays to my sunshine darling, the love of my life alex gabriel claremont-diaz. as a gift to you all, a snippet from my untitled alex x henry x george fic:

“My king,” Henry says over the din of the crowd gathered in the ballroom, the very same crowd that parts as he breezes through to join his beloved at the other end of the room. An underlying sense of excitement colors his words. “There is someone I wish for you to meet.” A big hand slides along the curve of his back and gathers him by the waist, and Henry eagerly follows with a soft laugh, pressing himself into Alexander’s side like he belongs there. “Is that so, my little lamb?” Alexander purrs into the shell of his ear, ignoring the conversation around him to give this beauty the attention he always deserves. He leans in close and lets the tip of his tongue graze the pearls that adorn his ear. And because he cannot help it, his lips move along his jaw until they find a home in his sweet wife’s lips. He does not pout when Henry pulls away, but it is a close thing.  “Alex,” Henry murmurs in warning, a glint in his eyes and a smirk on his lips.  Henry turns and extends a hand into the crowd. A ripple effect ensues as a man—no, an exquisite, beautiful boy—steps up, singling himself out from the others. He wears a light blue doublet, almost silver in the daylight, that clings to his curves and highlights the paleness of his long throat.  Henry reaches out towards him and takes his wrist, gently tugging him forward with a soft, encouraging smile on his lips. He looks at Alexander and finds only wonder and awe in his beloved’s face. His smile grows fond as Henry saunters closer to Alex’s side until his chin nearly rests on the man’s broad shoulder.  “Did I do well, my king?” It is Henry’s turn to whisper into Alexander’s ear, to suckle at the jewelry embedded in the soft flesh of his earlobe. “Isn’t he beautiful?”  Alexander’s grip tightens momentarily on Henry’s waist, a silent gesture showing his gratitude, his pleasure.  “And who must you be, sweetheart?” Alex asks the newcomer. The boy seems to positively glow from the attention. Gone is his initial apprehension as he takes the king’s hand and presses a kiss to the heavy bejeweled ring on his finger. He locks eyes with Alexander through a fan of lashes, his hazel gaze demure but bold.  “George Villiers, Your Majesty.” “George,” Alex says, tasting his name on his tongue. He smiles then, and it is blinding like the sun.

PUBERTO LOBOS, MEXICO

as the sun began its descent, casting a warm golden glow across the sandy shores, sean diaz and y/n found themselves at their favorite spot on the beach. the rhythmic crashing of waves against the shore created a soothing sound as they strolled hand in hand along the water's edge, the warm sand squished between their feet, creating a carefree atmosphere. they laughed and joked around, enjoying each other's company.

sean's eyes sparkled with mischief. taking one glance at y/n, he started to splash her with a handful of water.

“sean!” she opened her mouth in shock and laughter. she retaliated, and soon they were having a water fight, their laughter mixing with the sound of crashing waves.

after a good couple of minutes of completely drenching each other in sea water, they found a spot to rest, laying a towel on the sand. sean stretched out beside y/n and they gazed up at the sky. it was around 6 pm, and the sun was slowly setting. pointing out shapes in the clouds, their fingers intertwined naturally, a comfortable connection between them.

as they basked in the sun's warmth and the summer breeze, sean turned to y/n with a small smile. he reached out to brush a stray strand of hair away from her face, his touch gentle and reassuring. they shared a quiet moment, lost in the tranquility of the beach.

a gentle breeze swept through, causing y/n’s hair to dance in the wind. she huffed as the wind messed up her hair but sean couldn't help but be captivated by her, his admiration evident in his eyes. they leaned in, sharing a sweet and innocent kiss.

they continued to walk along the shore, occasionally pausing to pick up seashells or to dip their toes in the cool water. sean’s carefree spirit shone through as he skipped stones across the water, his infectious laughter filling the air. y/n simply smiled at him as the setting sun left its kiss on sean’s beautiful tan skin.

sean wrapped his arm around y/n’s shoulders. they sat together, watching the breathtaking scene unfold before them. the sky was blending from pink, to orange, to yellow. the waves whispered a calming melody, creating a serene backdrop to their intimate moment.

they sat in comfortable silence, their hearts beating in sync with the rhythm of the ocean. it was in these quiet moments that their connection felt the strongest, a shared understanding of each other's presence.

sean and y/n had gone through so much that moments like this made them realize how beautiful life is and how lucky they are to be at this point and have each other.

about 20 feet from them, was a 15 year old daniel diaz in a beach chair with a can of coke in hand. he was smiling at the couple from afar. he was so grateful he had been in this long and difficult journey with sean and y/n. he was so grateful they were given a happy ending.

as the last rays of sunlight disappeared beyond the horizon, y/n turned to sean with a small whisper "i’m grateful to have you in my life, sean. this feels like a dream." y/n smiled, her heart full of affection for the boy beside her.

hand in hand, they walked back along the beach, their footprints marking their journey. it was a simple day at the beach, but it held a world of meaning for sean and y/n. it was a reminder of the love and happiness they found in each other's company, a memory they would cherish for years to come.

WIP Wednesday

For once, Buck is glad he doesn’t need to pick up Christopher immediately after school. Instead it’s Chris’ time with Carla for a few hours before Buck needs to go back to the Diaz household and take care of him tonight. 

It’s not that he doesn’t love Chris – he does with all his undead heart. More than Buck learns to realize. It’s just hard to look at Chris’ smiling face while he’s in Eddie’s house and Eddie’s not there. Hard to pretend to stay positive for his kid while not knowing how Eddie is doing in that hospital and he can’t visit him until he wakes up. 

A little break in his loft where he doesn’t have to fake a smile is a nice relief.

He’s in the middle of taking off the stupid bullet vest when there’s a knock at his place. He must’ve been so lost in his thoughts, he didn’t even hear the heartbeat now assaulting his ears from behind his front door. When he opens the door, he’s met with Taylor’s sympathetic face as she asks to come in.

“I wanted to see how you were doing since…everything.”

Buck could lie to her, however he’s been lying so much to everyone lately, it would be nice to be truly honest with someone. “I hate this. Bobby had to take my phone away because I kept waiting for Ana to tell me that he’s awake.” 

Something flashes across Taylor’s face. If Buck is paying full attention, he might have been able to identify it. “I’m sorry, Buck. Are there any leads to who the sniper might be?” 

He shakes his head. “I keep being told they’re working on it as fast as possible but-” Buck yawns, the day, the weeks, catching up to him. He’s barely had any blood since the shooting. Bobby noticed. In the morning he slides Buck’s preferred water bottle full of bagged blood towards him for breakfast. Then again during lunch and dinner when Buck can only manage a couple gulps. It’s only enough to get him through a couple days, yet not sustainable. Eventually Buck knows he’ll have to truly feed. Yet the idea of it brings up memories of Eddie’s splattered blood on his tongue, and Buck can’t do it. 

The yawn causes Taylor to raise her eyebrows. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you yawn before. Are you sure you’re okay?” She grabs his face to get a better look at him. That’s when she notices his dark circles under the eyes, his more hollow cheeks, and his paler face. He rolls his eyes when she gasps in realization. “When was the last time you fed, Buck?”

“Taylor, it’s not that big of a deal-” She leaves him to go to his kitchen “-really, I’m fine-” he stops when he smells her blood. Glancing quickly over at her, she’s smirking triumphantly with a knife in one hand and a cut on her other wrist. Walking towards him, she offers her bloody wrist to him, her expression granting no argument to refuse.

“Drink.” 

Taking her wrist, he hesitates before bringing it to her lips. Already he can feel his fangs out. Licking his tongue along the trail of blood, he tests it out. AB negative. He can remember the last time he’s had blood from someone who is AB negative. It was so long ago, he made himself slow down in drinking it so he can savor it. The flavor so sweet, almost addictive he wanted to keep  that taste on his tongue for hours after he was done. 

Taylor Kelly might just be his new favorite addiction after this. 

Sinking his teeth in her wrist, he moans as her blood hits that back of his mouth. “That’s it, that’s a good boy. Drink as much as you need.” Buck whines at the praise she gives him. He could go on forever, except he knows he can’t. As much as he wants to keep going, Buck only takes enough that’s the equivalent of a blood donation. When he looks in Taylor’s eyes, they’re slightly glassy from the blood loss. Along with something else there. Despite Buck being the predator, he feels like he’s the prey in this scenario as he keeps staring in those eyes.

“Thanks. I think I have some food for you to help with the blood loss-”

“Don’t worry about it.” Taylor starts to leave when she turns back around. “Hey. If you ever need to feed again, you have my number.”

Alright it's almost Hispanic Heritage month again yall. Here's a list of Animated characters that I, a Latina, cried over when I found out they were Latin American

For clarification, "Found out" means, having no previous knowledge of said characters and within the context of the show/movie they are confirmed Latin American.

The entire Madgrial Family (Encanto)

The moment I saw the teaser trailer for Encanto I started crying. I was so BEYOND EXCITED to see real, true, positive beautiful Latin American representation in a Disney movie. I'm not even Colombian but seeing something like this become so popular made me so happy. Being able to fully understand "Dos Orugitas" in Spanish just hits so different, its not the same in English. It's such a beautiful step for Latin American representation, and I'm so excited to see what comes next for us. (Still holding out for my Latina Disney princess tho. And no, Elena doesn't count) I've also been told I look just like Mirabel and seeing a character that looks like me in a Disney movie just made my heart soar.

Luz Noceda (The Owl House)

Bruh a bisexual Latina with mommy issues AND she's bilingual??? She's just like me fr.

Lance McClain (V*ltron Legendary Defender)

He was my absolute favorite character in V*ltron and I will NEVER forgive them for ruining his arc and making him sad forever. He deserved a happy ending. He's NOT "just a boy from Cuba", he's so important and lovely.

Miles Morales (Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse)

I'm not a comic book reader, so Into the Spiderverse was the first time I met Miles. Finding out he was Afro Latino made me heart soar. He's a sweet boy, such a good character in the movie, and definitely deserved the Oscar. Can't wait for the sequel.

Claire Nuñez (Tales of Arcadia)

Claire is literally such a badass. She's amazing, an amazing character, her story with Jim is beautiful. Love it when she's speaks Spanish. 10/10 character (Watch Tales of Arcadia it's really good)

Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera (Ducktales 2017)

King of my heart. Wholesome dork. Voiced by Lin Manuel Miranda.

Gosalyn Mallard (Ducktales 2017)

What I literal icon. I really really REALLY hope that the rumored Darkwing Duck reboot uses the DT 2017 versions of the DW characters cause this Gosalyn is a QUEEN

I literally laugh my ass off whenever I watch the episode "Hidden City Job" and they do the whole Don Suave bit. Like it's so over the top yet accurate to telenovela characters that I can't help but laugh every time. When they first introduced Capitan Piel, I instantly laughed so hard before they even translated it because they did the whole Skin and Bones bit and I just thought it was so clever. 10/10 duo I'd love to see more of them. (GO WATCH ROTTMNT PLEASE THEY NEED ALL THE SUPPORT THEY CAN GET IF THEY WANT A SEASON 3)

• Vaggie (Hazbin Hotel)

People were giving Vivziepop shit accusing her of making Vaggie the "angry Latina stereotype) and I couldn't disagree more. Vaggie is perfectly fine as a character, and I can't wait to see what they do with her in the official Hazbin Hotel series!!

• Isabella Garcia-Shapiro (Phineas and Ferb)

Phineas and Ferb was the first fandoms I was ever in, and Isabella holds such a special place in my heart. Love her to pieces

• Marco Diaz (Star vs. The Forces of Evil)

Svtfoe was also one of the first fandoms I was in, so seeing one of the leads be portrayed as Mexican made 12 year old me so happy.

• Miguel Rivera (Coco)

Coco is such a beautiful movie, and I ONLY watch it in Spanish. Miguel is such a sweet and special boy, he really brought the joy of music back into his family.

• Soos (Jesus) Alzamirano Ramirez

Gravity Falls was ALSO one of the first fandoms I was in (PnF, GF, and Svtfoe were my main 3 for a time), and finding out this loveable goof was Latino made me really happy

• Princess Elena Castillo Flores

Now she may not be an official Disney princess (she doesn't meet all the requirements to be part of the franchise) but that doesn't mean she isn't excellent representation for young children. Although the show doesn't represent one specific Latin American country/culture, the show does have bits and pieces of many different LatAm cultures, and even some indigenous inspiration here and there with all the mythology aspects. It isn't perfect, but I do still appreciate Elena's presence in Disney.

—hmm I love all because of the different reasons but royal au, enemies to lovers and street dancer Eddie funny because of the new aus and kind of new possibilities for out boys and exploring them.

I love him cause he's funny and smart and knows what to do to make his stupid cousin admit his feelings

—hmm probably royal au or bra fic. But I have some ideas which are probably will win
