I really admire B’s faith in me because the man questions literally nothing I do to our house. And any time I try to get his input on home design related things he’s like “I know I’ll like anything you come up with and also do you remember the apartment I lived in for a decade until you moved in with me?” And that’s fair.
So, this morning, when he walked in on me painting the bedroom wall black, he just offered to help.
When I asked if he wanted to come to Home Depot with me to pick up a bunch of wood?
He sure did.
Did he ask why?
No he did not.
Did he express concerns about the compressor and nail gun I borrowed from our friend down the block?
He sure didn’t.
The man just vibes and offers to help sand or paint or hold things until a project is finished and then tells me he loves it and he had no doubts through the (admittedly sometimes concerning!) process. Amazing.
Anyway, I’m building a slat wall/headboard for our bed and my husband is great.

Prompt 214
“I did an oopsie.”
Clockwork paused in his work, gaze turning from his work towards his ghostling (it didn’t matter if he was an adult, he’d always be his ghostling) who was smiling nervously, avoiding his eyes.
“Oh?” He kept his tone light, even as he worked on untangling a time knot. Honestly at least Danny was immune to any effect of time, even if he couldn’t look into his timelines in exchange. It came with being the other half of Infinity.
“Yeeah… you know that corner of the multiverse you told me not to go to because you’re working on some time problems? I might have stumbled into one of the worlds in the corner…”
He stopped his machinations, fully turning towards Danny- Space, his Core whispered and quivered in utter delight at having an Equal in power- with a raised eyebrow, leaning on his staff and silently telling him to explain.
Danny poked his fingers together, giving a nervous laugh. “So uh, I was just exploring right? Well me and Ellie, you know how she gets when she can’t wander, and um… I er, we might have messed with some things in the creation of it… I didn’t know it was part of that universe, I swear! It was so far at the fringes and halfway into the Zone and I couldn’t just let a universe die before it began and-”
Oh- Oh! His ghostling (and his grand-ghostlings it sounded like) had claimed his first universe! He could put off these time knots, this was a grand milestone for any Ancient, nevermind such a primordial force as one of theirs.
And this is how a DC world came into being with humans evolving with more avian traits. Like wings. And claws. Look, Dan thought it’d be funny if they gave baby humanity wings and Ellie started rambling about how much farther they could travel if they had them and Danny thought it could be cool. Oh well, time to keep an eye on their itty baby world now…

Thinkin ‘bout after Buddie figure it out but before they’re dating, before they do anything, really, Buck insists on talking to Christopher and making sure he’s cool with him dating his dad
And Chris gives Buck a bitchy teenager look and asks him “Well, what’s going to change?”
And poor Buck is completely stumped when he realised that no, actually. It’s not going to change things in any material way, so he says, “Nothing, really,” and then, “I won’t sleep on the couch anymore when I stay over.”
And Chris says “Ew,” but when Buck flinches he thwacks him on the shoulder and says, “Not like that, just mean, nobody wants to imagine their dads sleeping together.”
And that is when Buck start’s crying.

I desperately need Dionysus as a father figure to Percy
And in the beginning he acts like he doesn’t care about Percy, but as time moves on it’s harder to hide his worry and concern for him
One day he gets into a fight with a powerful monster, and Percy wins but gets quite injured and almost dies (per usual)
And Dionysus is just like-
“What in the HELL JACKSON?! DO YOU KNOW HOW DANGEROUS THAT WAS?! YOU COULD OF BEEN KILLED- AND I KNOW THATS NOT UNUSUAL FOR YOU- BUT THAT DOESNT MATTER, DO YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED-“
And he stops there, realizing what he just did
Percy’s eyes brighten and he grins, Chiron chuckles. “You do care about me!”
Dionysus sends a glare at Chiron. “I most certainly do not Peter Johnson, now go to the infirmary to get patched up, you look a mess.” And even after the insult Percy is just laughing, cause he just knew it
Dionysus isn’t good with showing affection, but he does little things
He always makes sure he’s fed, and that he’s getting enough sleep, that the other campers don’t pick on him too much, he’ll let him sit beside him at meetings, or Percy will help him cheat at that one card game him and Chiron play, and on the days Percy feels depressed, Dionysus forces him to be productive, to get outside and out of bed, and makes sure he’s hydrated, (Water bottles will show up in his room every once and a while or even just next to him), and even though he doesn’t give them often, Percy has a few gifts from him

His dad could also be a dragon fae, but a long from the East
Diasomnia and the story of mulan are often associated with eachother. That’s what they did for Halloween, those were the stories Lilia told to his son.
Think abt it 😳

Masters of the Air is raw.
That’s the only way I can describe it.
I am only one episode in and I had to stop because it is so unbelievably raw that it physically hurts. It figuratively and literally pulls at my heartstrings.
I’m not attached to the characters, heck I don’t even know any of their names yet, but I think I’m okay with that because much like other military movies, people die. And they don’t die nice. It freaking sucks because it just doesn’t feel fair. This show is amazing, beautiful production and killer historical accuracy, but it’s just not fair because
51% of bomber aircrews in WWII were killed in operations.
Only 24% survived the war unscathed.
They are the true definition of flyboys, these men in their flying machines. They are so young and so full of life that it hurts to watch just knowing what lies ahead of them.
But even though it hurts to watch, physically pains me to sit through every minute, I feel that I owe it to them. I need to watch this in remembrance of all those that served in those flying coffins and died as well as acknowledge what they went through to survive. I can suck it up and wrap myself in a blanket with my hood up, cowering on the floor leaning against the couch because if they can go up there knowing more than likely they’re not going home, I can watch a frickin tv show from my couch. If you can watch it, watch it.

I love that my school president almost feels like a jukebox musical. Like the music is in universe but also has these out of universe musical moments. It’s canon to the show but people that aren’t just the band sing. Music is the plot, but also the mode of storytelling. And they do it by choosing songs that lyrically fit the situation whenever there’s a moment where the plot calls for a song. I just… so many bl series have music, they use it as a theme or just include it to push the ost, but I think this show has truly nailed it. It’s like a pseudo-musical bl and I adore it
