A/N: Yallz have no idea how excited I am to finally be sharing the fruits of my labor. This fic is something I wrote during the pandemic in my Baby Army days when the few fanfics I read didn't satisfy me. It took me a while to learn how to navigate to find the good stuff. The ones I stumbled upon were too insta-love/smutty with NO plot; of course this was back when my love for BTS was at the stage of innocent adoration in contrast to where I am now in my delulu derangement. :D

Holed up with my roommate/cousin, "S", and our friends Garrett and Marlena in 2020, I wrote this to pass the time and to entertain them. S is a Jin-bias, so some of the scenes are catered to her.

This is a completed fic that I am rewriting, so don't worry that I'll fall off the face of the earth. The end will come and I hope it will satisfy your Jin loving, plot driven heart! A new chapter will be posted every Monday. I hope you enjoy the fic!

As someone one who has also not seen encanto but does know what it’s about…I would say bring the tissues. Almost all of my siblings have watched it now and they’ve all told me it’s rough, but super super good.

I am currently refusing to watch it, I really want to and I will eventually but emotionally I simply cannot at the moment. It’s basically about generational childhood trauma in a Latinx family…and the main character just so happens to look a lot like me 🙃😂 (like I’ve had so many people send me snaps of them watching it and being like look it’s you as a cartoon character).

Also Lin Manuel Miranda did the music, so naturally it’s amazing

Hi! So I stumbled across your fic ruin you awhile ago and just had it saved on one of my side blogs as one to come back to as it looked like you were gonna add more parts. Well low and behold I was going through some of the series I enjoyed enough to keep and tag as ongoing and was super (pleasantly) surprised to see all the new parts you put out! When I first saved it I think the latest one was ry: sex toys so I really had a lot to catch up on!

I finally was able to do that today (tonight? This morning? My sleep schedule is the worst 🤦🏽‍♀️) and wow! I definitely need time to process, I usually need more time to be able to write out my thoughts in a way that makes sense (cause words are hard) BUT I just want to tell you that your writing made me feel all the emotions! I obviously liked the first few parts, as I saved it to come back to, but I wasn’t sure how deep you were going to go into the characters and such and I’m so thoroughly impressed with the direction you took it. Hopefully I can catch up on some of the discourse on your blog from asks? (Bc I’m super nosy and love to see what parts stood out to other people as well lol) but for now I just wanted to let you know I am really looking forward to the ending of the story no matter what the outcome may be! That cliffhanger had me literally holding my breath and the flashbacks to when Jungkook and reader were first dating gave me all the butterflies.

I wasn’t going to say anything right now but when I came to your blog I saw your most recent asks and so I just wanted to let you know I think you’re incredibly talented. I was never really into fanfic until recently and I really started reading it as a distraction (cause life yk 🤷🏽‍♀️) but I didn’t expect to find so many talented writers! I'd say "Scale." It was so stressful to write at the time LOL but I've learned to love it once it was done! There was some crime and corporate, illegal activity involved (but not that serious), and some twists and turns... I'd like to dabble into that again but we'll see if I can!

Hmm...I'm not sure. I don't get much actual feedback these days so it's hard for me to tell which fic people didn't understand. 😩

🍭why did you start writing?

I feel like I've been vocal about this, most especially last year. I wrote because I was depressed at the time. I needed an outlet and finding BTS and BTS fanfic has been a great mood lifter for me. I didn't intend on publishing Gradation in the beginning. It was just a little thing that I would occasionally type into in my Apple notes...adding some dialogue, some exposition. Until one of my writing friends here (who has since been offline for some time now), beta-read it and eventually encouraged me to post it. Now, a couple years later, I'm thankfully still able to continue to write, even though I have certain periods these days where I don't have much content to put out. But I'm very grateful for friends like you who still read and comment on my stuff. It makes me think I'm still doing pretty okay after all this time. I appreciate you all! 🥰

3. favorite line/scene you wrote this year

ohhh gosh. uhh. there is a lot that i cherish... but i'm gonna rewind to the very start of this year and go with a scene from fireworks. the balcony scene.

More bursts of brilliance boom and break spots in the dark night, and you rest your cup on the railing before gripping the wood with both your hands. 

Hands down, this is the most content you’ve felt all night. And the most contemplative. You almost feel nostalgic for the exact same moment you’re living, which you didn’t think was possible until now. Softly, words leave you in puffs of white, 

“It’s so weird how you can love something you’re afraid of.”

it's the moment i find myself going back to and feeling tight in my chest. because it's what started the rest of the series that changed my life. because i feel nostalgic for the moments we're living now, and i've felt that way this entire year.. i think it's the scene i will think about forever.

12. favorite character to write about this year

honestly? it's an oc. dom from the three tangerines series, because it's the first time i truly wrote an oc that i like, know automatically. and the love and support y'all have given her is a gd honor. i seriously can't believe it still!
