This post has been living rent-free in my mind for almost a week. I have now brought it life. Enjoy :3
I just realized that whole stunt of Ratio pretending to backstab Aventurine was just the hsr equivalent of pretending to fight in the ikea furniture displays like an old married couple.
Been struggling with my mind lately, therapist threw me the "have you ever got tested for autism/adhd" question and my mind hasn't been able to rest since, questioning ever single past action.
This is the most art I did for fun in a while. Working on animatic is on pause until I can get my brain together.

Originally intended as a more angelic version of Xueyi but I stuck to her design more than intended. Planning on making alternative character outfits for HSR characters. We'll see if I ever get to it. Sampo in a clowncore outfit will just be Sampo though.
I find the idea that so many cultures bring light to their homes during the winter fascinating. Those little things bind humanity together and fill me with so much joy when I think about it.
So, I decided to add a similar concept to the little world I've been developing: little light traditions during the longest night of the year. The mini-comic also is to build my characters and play around with what a family can be.
Lepa (the rabbitfolk) was born into a small village but was isolated for being different. While her blood family's fur changed colors with the season, Lepa was frozen in time due to her lack of pigmentation.
Later, she met Vilhelm and Manado, who brought her into their family. The rest is history.
I finally tried to learn all the Clip Studio animation features, it's a WIP and rough but hey! It's one of the most complex thing I've animated so far.
