Can we get a sailor and mermaid au?

Aaaaa okay so I'm so torn on who should be who but I'll go with mermaid Loki for this one

1. Thor has loved the water his whole life and is a very strong swimmer so he often takes risks he should not. One of these bad decisions leads to him being caught up in a drag net where he first meets Loki. Loki frees him thinking he's another mer but panics and swims away when he realizes he's human.

2.loki spends most of his time in reefs and shallow shore side caves

3.loki LOVES jewelry and shiny things even going so far as to affix metal rings and things to his scales.

4. Thor has become obsessed with finding Loki again and frequently leaves out gifts and or food near the dock where he almost drowned. Even if the wharf rats eat most of the food.

5. When they finally do reconnect Loki is extremely wary but Thor is delighted to find that Loki is wearing many of his gifts.

Fanfic Commissions for Janie Jeeves

Yesterday I came home to find that Janie Jeeves, two years old, couldn’t walk. She’d vomited a lot and was so off balance that she couldn’t even hold her head still lying down (vestibular disease; severe nystagmus).

I rushed her to the emergency vet, because of course it was Sunday.  Her bill that had to be paid Sunday, June 30, was in the amount of $1200.00, which necessitated taking out a loan to cover part of the cost.  She has now been transferred to my local vet for further hospitalization, which will be an estimated additional $150 for boarding and intravenous fluids/medications.  This is all in addition to my cat Bronte’s end of life costs, which came to around $85.00 less than two weeks ago.  I can provide documentation when she is released on a test basis this afternoon.

Somewhere in your world - a mermaid!thorki AU

While exploring a sunken wreck on the bottom of the sea, Loki finds a pendant with a likeness of a handsome man. The man himself is not among  the victims of the storm, and for a reason he cannot quite explain, Loki keeps the pendant.

There is something in it that piques his curiosity, and finally a day comes when Loki finds himself closer to the seashore than is safe for his kind. He sees no humans, but there are signs of them: a few lone boats scattered along the shore, footprints, distant voices.

One day Loki spies the man from the portrait. He is tall, strong, handsome. His hair is golden like the rays of sun and his eyes blue like the sea in Loki's favourite secret creek, and when he laughs at his animal companion, something strange happens to Loki's heart in his chest.

...And of course the man is Thor, and Loki falls in love with him, and there are so many ways for this AU to go on that I'll just leave it here. :3
