simply one of the best things i've read in a long time. it SO perfectly operates within its genre, one of those beautiful pieces of cross-referential AU fanfic, where there is both a deeply thoughtful blending of references, a wonderfully precise understanding of the characters from the original media, and highly-detailed worldbuilding of its own.
the author nails every character's cadence, the variety of voices, their styles of conversation. the descriptive narrative, is also excellent. achingly poetic, there is so much beauty, and so much compelling, grim horror, too. the happy moments are threaded with plenty of intense, sharply sad moments, but there is so much joy, such hope. it's an ode to art, and friendship, and community.
i had such an amazing time reading this story. it's such a brilliant idea, and its execution lives up to the concept. the amount of detail, research, reference, is evident in every chapter. and it's a wonderful tribute to the show, while also giving such a satisfying conclusion to so many story arcs that were left a little underserved in the series finale.

Kate mistakenly selects the title of 'viscountess' when she books her flight, and the airline thinks they're doing her a favour by changing her seat to with her (not) husband, the viscount.
Such a fun one-shot in which Kate visits Edwina in Greece and ends up married on a flight to a Viscount who is curious about his new wife! It's such a cute one-shot that cheered me up a lot, have a read!

As an omega carer that works at a rescue and rehabilitation centre for feral alphas and omegas, Louis has experienced all sides of ferality. So Harry- a cold, near mute, non-receptive alpha- was a challenging case for everyone at Phoenix Rehab Centre. Louis wasn’t expecting to feel drawn towards an aloof Harry, or to form a slow bond with him. He certainly was not expecting for his entire life to change in unforeseen ways.
this fic was incredible! A little sad at times and certainly a long one... But so worth it! Genuinely an incredible work.
This Ain't Red Wine - @letthemusicmoveyou28 [Explicit - 9k - One Shot - Vampire fic]
It’s not until he gets a whiff of the contents of his glass that Louis realizes his grave mistake. That’s not red wine. It’s blood. It’s probably not the most rational, but his first thought is what people are going to think when they discover his body. On the list of stupidest ways for a human to die, accidentally turning up to a Vampire party has to be pretty high up there.
this one is part of a currently 3 part series and really well written! Funny and hot, definitely a great vampire fic.

My note: It’s one of those stories that you desperately want to be longer.You will finish it and crave more. I love this AU. I reread this plenty of times and I am obsessed with this fic. It was so good and I would never consider writing my own teacher! Stephen AU if I haven’t read this story.

My note: It’s a fic about Stephen, his partner and their life together. It jumps between flashbacks from the past when both of them were working in the hospital and their current lives in the new york sanctum. America is also there in some scenes. It’s a very fun fic, showing how their relationship progressed over the years.

Summary: following the events of multiverse of madness, you’ve given up hope that stephen would ever love you back. but what if his feelings for you change… will you give him a chance, or has your heart moved on?
My note: Oh boy, this series has everything. Angst, hurt, comfort, some fluff and found family trope. Did I mention that it’s a slow burn? The things between Stephen and Y/N are really complicated and the tension between them could be cut with a knife.

My note: This is a story, following the events of Multiverse of Madness and it’s really worth your time. You will be hooked after the first chapter, but I must warn you- the angst in this story hits hard.

Summary: You're the Mystic Arts' best and brightest when it comes to breaking ancient curses, and Stephen Strange, Sorcerer Supreme...well, he's the Mystic Arts' best when it comes to everything else. But when a normal day together at New York City's Sanctum Sanctorum is turned on its head by an invitation from Tony Stark himself to attend this year's Stark Industries Gala, you find that you need to clarify what, exactly, you and Stephen are to each other, and not just to the world at large.
My note: This story is quite long, but you will yearn for more. This fics consists of three parts (the last one includes smut). The relationship between the characters is written incredibly well- it’s fun and friendly at first, but as you read on you will literally feel in your bones how they yearn for each other. I am a huge fan of the friends to lovers trope and reading this story felt like opening a birthday gift. If you like to read about friends/roommates who are incredibly in love with each other, but refuse to take the first step so they just silently yearn for the other then this story is for you.
Chaotic Team & Their Master Series | MayoTsukia (AO3)
One-shots and stories collection about The Master and her chaotic team, along with a certain sorcerer supreme and those around them.
My note: The reader being Stephen's right hand was a very nice detail in this fic. This story also contains some OCs who are the absolute best. They are very young students under the reader’s care. They are such amazing characters and they are so well written you will feel like they have always been there. There’s some good hurt/comfort and let’s be honest- who wouldn't want to be comforted by Stephen Strange?

Summary: Reader is under a curse. Stephen freaks out. Feelings are felt.
My note: It’s a sleeping beauty au with Stephen who is trying his hardest to break the spell and wake you up, but nothing seems to be working. He almost loses all hope, but don’t worry! It has a happy ending :)

Summary: Y/N Y/L/N is a PhD student who wants to prove to her best friend that she has moved on and dating. With no way to prove it, she kisses the first man she sees, which ends up being none other than Dr. Strange, known as one of the most unapproachable and critical professors in the university.
My note: As the title says, this story was inspired by the book Love hypothesis. I haven’t read the book before I read this story, but this fic made me want to read it. I loved how the characters interacted with each other. It was fun to read, some parts made me smile like stupid and other parts made me want to punch a wall. This is another story filled with an incredible amount of mutual pining and lots of other feelings. You don’t have to read the book to understand this fic.
Waiting for the night | @strangeprincex
Plot: An incubus makes his way into your apartment and has you in his sights.
My note: Oh dear gods, please take the wheel because I will pass out. Demon Stephen Strange with tattos and piercings. That's all I will tell you. This story is incredibly smutty and I needed to take a shower after reading it. I highly recommend.

Summary: The Sorcerer Supreme knows how to help Helle relax after a long week being a hero.
My note: This is a series about Stephen and Helle who are in an established relationship. This fic is really smutty, but it’s also incredibly sweet. You can just feel the love those two have for each other. The author writes about other parts of sex than just smut- the story focuses on trust, love and communication.
If you enjoy stories like this one strangeprincex has more of them on their blog and AO3- but make sure you read the warnings because some of the stories are a bit darker than the others.
The Witch of Hell's Kitchen | @shenanigans-and-imagines
My note: This is a list full of stories about Stephen Strange and an OC- Cassandra jackson. I never expected to be so invested in someone else's OC, but Cassandra is such a great character you will want to see more of her and Stephen. Let’s not forget about Ellie- Cassandra’s child who is also half demon. You will fall in love with their little family as soon as you read one story. I guarantee that.

a fantastic fic with an exceptionally clever understanding of form, storytelling, and both the joys and pitfalls of the fandom experience, retold through the medium of in-world fanfiction. it is as delightfully funny as you'd expect from something that casts such a knowing eye over fandom archetypes, but also an incredibly moving portrayal of the power of stories, of telling your own tales, and deciding where you exist in the narrative.
excellent characterisations, utterly unique, a real breath of fresh air in what can feel like stormy fandom waters, and a reminder, in a sense, of the point of it all. there's layers upon layers operating here, and all of them are handled brilliantly.
“I heard you’re a writer,” Blackbeard says.
There’s a sudden rustling sound as Blackbeard kicks something across the floor. Frenchie bends down to retrieve it, and sees that it’s a notebook. Wide and empty, like that one Lucius used to carry around with him.

It is almost a relief to see that it's Eddie Munson on the chair and not some huge random guy. That is until Eddie's eyes crinkle open and his face goes from blind terror to bemused, the way he's curled up like a bug at the noise slipping into something languid and easy.
It's almost a relief until the prick smiles like a lunatic and Steve has to think of course, this fucking guy, because Eddie Munson may be the weirdest person Steve's ever met.

The one that started it all lol. Asshole Steve + Asshole Eddie + The Odd Twilight Intimacy of a shirtless lifeguard and a pot-head who needs to get a watch. They don't kiss but do they need to?
Hidden Gems
The Rowdy 3 is a name they give themselves, stitched together from words they collect in the underbelly of Project Blackwing and the way they live as four in one over the course of five years. It's better than Project Incubus but it starts with just Martin and Cross and Gripps and Vogel. It starts in Project Blackwing. Well it really starts with Martin meeting a suit in a bar.
It starts with Martin on the road. A song in his gut that rhymes with hunger that three other voices know too.
And it keeps going from there, just as The Universe intends.
(AKA The Rowdy Three in Project Blackwing).
Not Steddie but listen I think this is the best thing I've ever written. Okay if you haven't watched Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency then that's a hidden gem for you. It's...the perfect show? Two seasons of the zaniest most well-connected story telling I've ever seen. Featuring The Rowdy 3, some almost vampires who re-wrote my brain chemistry so hard I cry about them whenever I'm like...real drunk. Last summer I kind of...went off the rails and wrote essentially a novel about them/Project Blackwing (a secret government prison). This is that novel, my magnum opus. My manuscript I'd save from vikings because I spent my whole life on it. A friend says I should submit this to graduate school for applications and sometimes I'm tempted lol.
If they had a Van Helsing it was Nancy Wheeler, and if they had a leader Eddie would honestly say Henderson was giving them all a run for their money (God help them when the kid got a drivers license and didn’t need them anymore). And all Steve Harrington seemed to do was make Eddie want to save the world to spite him. To say stand back dipshit this is how you do a heroic sacrifice notice how my hair’s messed up in a way that isn’t tantalizing even while dripping with muck and I’m still wearing my fucking shirt.
So, no, Steve Harrington sailing in at the last possible second wasn’t on Eddie’s death bingo card. And yet, here it was. A one man army. A guy who once earnestly wore a baby-blue sweater wrapped around his shoulders and definitely was part of the goon squad that once flew Eddie’s gym bag up the flagpole and left him naked in the locker-room. One of the last people Eddie Munson would have ever expected to save his sorry-ass life.
And honestly it was kind of hot. This causes its own new kind of problems.
(AKA Obligatory Steve Harrington Sailing in to Save the Day Fic. AKA Eddie Munson develops a crush at the worst possible moment of his life and starts to get it).
When it comes down to it this is my favorite of my babies so far just in how specific the detail work is and how...pretty it got to be. Super shout out to this just being born from the fact that Eddie would be a horn dog for Aragorn and how he visualizes his fictional crush would entirely be changed by someone actually saving his life. Also just the work I got to do with Wayne.
